First of all, thank you for your great work.Is there a way to identify a webhook event is a promotional offer or not?We have a promotional offer in apple store: first month 50% off discount. Webhook events look like this:1. First event:{   …,   "period_type": "NORMAL",   “price_in_purchased_currency”: 10 }2. Second event:{   …,   "period_type": "NORMAL",  “price_in_purchased_currency”: 20}Which looks correct, however, we want to identify the first event as ‘promotional offer initial purchase` for our own record. It can be identified through ‘price_in_purchased_currency’ but it’ll get complicated since there are up to 200 currencies. We tried to add customer attribute to give more information when user buy promotional offer, but that goes to all

My app offers a one year auto-renewing subscription. I also need to offer a one week subscription that does not automatically renew.I am expecting the entitlement associated with the non-renewing subscription to be automatically revoked when the subscription expires, like it does when the user cancels an auto-renewing subscription.I am able to specify the duration for the non-renewing subscription on Google Play, but don’t see how to do it on App Store Connect.In searching the internet, it seems App Store Connect doesn’t support durations for non-renewing subscriptions.Has Revenue Cat come up with a workaround on iOS so that entitlements associated with a non-renewing subscription can be automatically revoked?Are entitlements automatically revoked on Android, at least?

I’ve noticed that in order to see the purchase status reflected correctly under App Store → Sandbox Account → Subscriptions, I will need to set in Xcode Product->Scheme->StoreKit Configuration to none. But in doing so, I’m unable to retrieve the correct Trial offer eligibility information. On the other hand, if I set a value to the StoreKit configuration file, then I’m able to see the up to date trial offer eligibility info on Paywall, but the purchase won’t show up under App Store → Sandbox Account → Subscriptions, in spite of the success purchase confirmation.What is the proper way to test in the sandbox environment in this case? Please advise. Thank you. 

I'm encountering an issue with all of my Play Store plans that offer a trial period. None of them are converting after the 7-day free trial period, and I always receive the following error message: The peculiar aspect is that this issue is specific to the Play Store; it works fine on iOS without any exceptions. Can you please assist me with this matter? 

Hi. I’ve just started using RevenueCat and I really like the ease of integration, however, unless I’m missing something it appears that RevenueCat does not support non-subscription in-app purchases. Is that really correct?For my application, I need monthly and yearly subscriptions, but also a consumable purchase. I really don’t want to have to implement two different solutions.Can anyone tell me if I’m wrong? And if not, has anyone heard that at least basic support for consumables is the RevenueCat roadmap?Btw, I know that RevenueCat will pick up these transactions for reporting, but that’s not helpful to me.Thanks!

I’m trying to better understand how refunds affect revenue, and specifically how they relate to the Apple App Store fee and sales tax / VAT. My current understanding: If I have a renewable subscription for $10/mo, and the user purchases from a location with 10% sales tax/VAT, then my net revenue is $10 * (1 - 0.1) * (1 - 0.15) = $7.65. that accounts for apple’s 15% fee and the 10% tax. Next, when the user requests a refund, that customer gets the full $10 back, and the full $10 comes from my net revenue, is that right? So I end up paying $2.35 to Apple for each refunded customer.Is my understanding correct? I can’t find any documentation about how refunds affect my revenue specifically. In this case, I’m only concerned with Apple’s App Store and auto-renewable subscriptions, if that makes a difference in how it’s handled.

Can i use paywall for in app purchase, what should I pay attention to if I can use it? I tried with subscriptions and working well.

Hi I am struggling to fix issues with RC regarding revenues from consumable IAPs (iOS).Thus rather than have those products tracked within RC I wish to remove these specific products from my projects whilst leaving other products (my subscriptions etc) intact.However, when I attempt to remove the product from the project I receive the message, “There are transactions in the system using this product.” and the product remains in my project.The products I am trying to delete are not associated with any entitlements or offerings and stand alone as single use consumable products. Can anybody suggest anything here please?Regards,Alex

I don't understand why I have to regenerate service credentials. I already have a project at console.cloud.google.com with everything defined. Can't I just give permission to the new Google account that will receive the app in this project?The app is transferred to the Google Play console, I don't understand this part about generating new credentials? Would it be a new project on Google cloud?

A little confused with the right way to set these up.Scenario:Android and iOS apps both currently with one-time “pro” unlock IAP, iOS is using RevenueCat but Android isn’t quite yet I want to make the IAP separate between iOS and Android, meaning if they use it on both platforms they have to buy it twice (as it is today) I want to add a new additional subscription option that is cross-platform, meaning if you buy it on one you get it on both Platforms. This subscription would include all the features of the one time IAP and some additional cloud-supported features.Can someone help me decode the best way to arrange my products like this?

Hi all, I don’t think I’ve been able to find a clear answer to this so I thought I’d try asking here. Simple scenario: I have monthly and annual subscriptions for a Basic tier and a Pro tier. I want to present both tiers to the user at the same time so they can choose whether they want basic or pro. When I tried this with a single offering, I found that when I pull in all 4 packages then I can’t really separate them by tiers because I don’t really know which is which. So I was thinking of having two offerings instead, one for Basic tier and one for Pro, each would have 2 packages (for monthly and annual). Would that be an acceptable practice to go about? Thanks.

We have native app released with the subscription purchase, we enabled the webhook for apple sending the event like auto renew event, now we want to integrate with revenue cat, and we also enable the webhook for revenue cat. now I want to know, after the revenue cat integration released, how about the subscription purchased on our previous release(no revenue cat), the auto renew event are still sending through apple webhook, or there is way for revenue cat to take over, we do not need apple webhook any more, thanks

We offer a premium subscription and want to offer a 7-day free trial for users. However, we want to limit the amount of content they access on the free trial. This we can implement fine. However, what if we have users who want full access and want to pay before the 7 days end? Do they have to “cancel” their free-trial and then subscribe again in the iOS settings? Or can they upgrade directly somehow to the paid subscription, before their free trial ends?

I’m currently testing subscription using Sandbox account. I’m able to receive the purchase successful confirmation. But the paywall view page does not disappear - the call action button keeps spinning. Anything in addition I need to implement in order to dismiss the paywall upon purchase? Please advise. I have been using RevenueCat for 3 years, and there is an issue that is never resolved with subscriptions. The error occurs when a user delays payment; as soon as they make the payment before the subscription is canceled, Google informs that it is paid. However, in RevenueCat, it does not update, blocking the customer. Can someone help me with this?

I have some IAP consumables in the app store, I am implementing RC to expand to android and web.. I handle my consumable with storekit2 successfully like this:customer buys the IAP after the transaction is succesful then I add the credits to userdefaults or coredata user use the credits and I manage the counter in the app when counter is 0 then trigger IAP again I am confused how to do this in RC, I assume I just create a product and do not attach offering, entitlements etc?I just want RC to handle the payment, tell me the customer actually paid and then I’ll handle the rest  

In my test track Android app, Every time I try for initiate the process of purchase I have a grey screen with no text or indication of what is happening. I cant execute a test purchase at all. Can someone help me?The image shows the status of my project.

Assuming RevenueCat customer ID does not change, Our backend should keep track of it. When user does action All kind of Webhook will send request to my backend. Somehow we have to figure out RevenueCat customer ID from webhook request params. Hi there,Our app has options for subscriptions:monthly renewing subscriptions annual renewing subscriptions lifetime month_upgrade_lifetimeThe lifetime  option is implemented as a non-consumable purchase in the App Store.The issue we’re having is that once a user has purchased a lifetime subscription in the sandbox, there seems to be no way to ignore that purchase (even to Deleting Account, user can still restore after deleting the account).So we have to treat sandbox lifetime purchases as invalid. But if I ignore sandbox purchases, this would also ignore non-sandbox purchases for the same entitlement. As lifetime purchase may have high priorityin Revenuecat SDK.If one user made a monthly su

 Hey,  Just got the following warning while debugging restore purchase method: allowSharingPlayStoreAccount is set to false and restorePurchases has been called. This will 'alias' any app user id's sharing the same receipt. Are you sure you want to do this? Just wondering what the allowSharingPlayStoreAccount is and if we need to do anything with it? Doesn’t seem to be any mention on the restore purchases docs page.  cheers James 

Hi, I am currently using RevenueCat in my Flutter app, which has been successfully released on both the Apple Store and Google Play. In-app purchases are functioning correctly on both platforms, and there are no issues with the latest releases.However, I am facing a challenge exclusively with the Android version: specifically, the configuration of the "Google Real-Time Developer Notifications". Although all other setup steps have been completed successfully and validated, I encounter an error when attempting to complete this final step.Attached are the necessary screenshots from the RevenueCat dashboard, confirming that all steps preceding this one have been completed without issue, and from the Google Play Console, highlighting the error encountered during the test notification process.Your assistance in resolving this specific issue would be greatly appreciated. Hello! I am integrating RevenueCat with Flutter, and so far everything was working good. I added subscriptions in the last version and they seemed to work good. However, when I added a new version and submitted it to review to Apple, the review team can’t seem to fetch offers in the app and hence the new version is getting rejected. It works fine in TestFlight, and in Android, and I can't reproduce the error on my side. But the app review team keeps getting the same error.  Any ideas why that might be?
