I am testing the purchase flow for the Play StoreI can make test purchase subscriptions and verify the entitlements through RC.I can see the transactions in the Play Store console, and in the Recent Sandbox Transactions list on the RC Overview page, but if I go to the Customers page, there is only one user in the premade Sandbox list, where the user has 1 App User Id (it’s an anonymous one)I made a new list of users where “Made Sandbox Purchase” is false, and can see a different user there, with 1 App User IdIn the Recent Sandbox Transactions list, I can see two users with unique anonymous App User IDs (i.e. there is no crossover or sharing with the App User Ids above) and with transactions. These users aren’t appearing on the Customer page in any list. The transactions have occurred over around a 5 hour period. Should any caching not have been cleared by now? A separate but possibly related problem - for the users who do appear on the Customer page, I’ve tried searching for a google tr
Hi everyone, I would love to get your help around the audience in experiments! When creating a new experiment, I have no way of setting a “new user” or “first seen” rule like in other experiment tools.I’m running a pricing experiment and I’m confused - the number of users included don’t seem to match new users (too many users in the experiment), and I’m struggling to match them to daily active users.Could you share who is included in the experiment (only new, only existing, both) and is a paywall view required in order to be included or not?And also:If it’s new users - how is new defined? If it’s not new - is there a way to only focus on new users?Would love to get your help on this!
How to get vendor number because doc suggests Payments and Financial Reports section and the page is unavailable right now:https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/itc/payments_and_financial_reports/#/
Hi,How do I find customers who used a subscription offer code via the RevenueCat dashboard? I found this article: https://www.revenuecat.com/blog/engineering/create-and-track-offer-codes-ios-app/ but it seems like it would require implementing a web hook and tracking it manually. Thanks,Yi
Dear all, when looking at graphs – RC starts weeks on sundays. Is there a setting to control that and switch to monday — as it causes discrepancies in our data throughout other services. Thanks a lot.
Hi,How do I filter customers by package type such as Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime? Thank youzulfadhli
I am unable to create an In App Purchase Key that meets the validation requirements of RevenueCat. I am following these instructions: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/service-credentials/itunesconnect-app-specific-shared-secret/in-app-purchase-key-configuration Similar to this thread, I have suddenly notified that my In App Purchase Key is no longer valid (despite being valid for the past few months without any alternation this end) I am hitting multiple issues when attempting to (re)generate the key. (1) When I visit AppStoreConnect → Users and Access → Integrations its missing the sidebar (when compared to the RC docomentation). (2) The documentation doesn’t indicate which level of access is needed when generating the key. I’ve assumed “developer”? I see some people in this thread mention it should be App Manager, but the RC staff member suggests it does not matter. (3) The generated key is the wrong format according to RC. It says it must start with SubscriptKey_xxxx.p8 but the do
Maybe I didn’t fully understand the purpose of packages in offerings. I would like to have one offering, with 1 package, which contains 2 different products. Both should have annual renewal, but are linked to different entitlements, since one gives full access, and one only reduced (read-only). How to do this? When I try to add a second product, the first one is replaced.Do I have to create 2 offerings? I cannot have another package with “Annual” identifier...
When I try to view the CVR for iOS and Android on the conversion to paying chart screen, I set the Segment to platform. However, some users are categorized under "Other" instead of iOS or Android, and I am unable to know the exact percentage. Our app is only released on iOS and Android, so what kind of users are included in this "Other" category?
I’m getting the following error when trying to add an iOS app. I’ve filled out all the fields in the “New App Store app” section and followed several different guides, however, I’m running into this error every time. The only thing I can think of is I just set up everything on App Store Connect and I’m waiting for approval. Has anybody else ran into this issue?
It would be GREAT if we could easily compare the current data to the previous range. For example, when I’m looking at this year’s revenue chart, I want to see how that compares to last year’s revenue. Or if I’m looking at the last 28 days of new subscriptions, I want to know how does that compare to the previous 28 days? This is pretty easily done with line charts, by adding another line with less opacity or a different color, but I understand it might not as easy to implement with other chart types or segmented charts.
Hello Everyone!.I've implemented RevenueCat's subscription functionality in both my Android and iOS apps. The Customer Dashboard in RevenueCat is currently showing the paid subscription information for my Android users accurately. However, it's not displaying any paid subscriptions for my iOS users. I have verified that the paid subscriptions are working correctly for iOS users through the App Store and on their iPhones. The issue solely lies in the RevenueCat Customer Dashboard not showing the paid subscription information for iOS users. Has anyone faced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem? Your advice and insights would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
I am successfully setting the user’s attributes in my RN app with setAttributes, however, they do not show in the dashboard. I’ve waited over 3+ hours at this point. I’ve put the app in the background, and quit/re-started, but they still do not show in the dashboard. I also invalidatePurchaserInfoCache in our dev environment. What is needed to get this to work?
I’m interested in setting up two introductory offers. First, the user will get 7 days free, then the user will get a discounted first year (e.g. $50), then the user gets charged the full price for the second year (e.g. $100). Pretty sure I can set all this up in Apple and Google. Will RC’s Paywalls handle this with variables? For example, will RC detect if the user is eligible for either/both the intro offers (e.g. a free week and a discounted first year) and display the correct pricing via variables on the paywall? As far as I can see, I don’t see variables that handle different prices for different years. I only see one price. Does RC variables handle this multiple intro offers scenario? Like, using variables, can I get the paywall to say something like “$50 for first year, then $100 per year after that”? Or does RC just display the discounted first year, and it’s up to Apple to display that the second year will go up in price during Apple’s checkout process?
When designing a RC Paywall, if I use a variable like {{ total_price_and_per_month }} will the dollar sign always be used, or will people in other countries see the price in their currency, with their currency symbol?
I've followed all the necessary steps to configure my credentials, and they are showing checkmarks for "Permissions to call subscriptions API," "Permissions to call inappproducts API," and "Permissions to call monetization API." However, these checkmarks are not turning blue, indicating full activation. What could be the reason for this issue, and how can I resolve it?Thank you for your help!
In the documents has been mentioned: Android purchases can be refunded directly through the RevenueCat dashboard. I have performed a sandbox purchase (non-recurring, non-subscription) within the android/flutter app. The purchase was successful and I can see the purchase in RevenueCat dashboard ( customer: $RCAnonymousID:bfe8546d439b47bd849b2235e93f0e59 ) but there is no “refund” button neither in the dashboard overview page nor in the customer profile page. Do you plan to bring condensed footer in flutter too?
In subscription retention chart, I found the increase of subscribers count compared to previous month. As you can see the screenshot below, the number of subscribers who continues for 5 months is 4. But the one who continues for 6 months increases to 5. What happened here?I expect the number of subscribers is only decreasing, never increase.Thank you for any help in advance.
Hi,I'm creating a purchase history in one of my apps, I would like to use the RevenueCat transaction ID to trace the specific transaction to provide customer support. The problem is that this ID is not shown anywhere in the dashboard, not even in the details of individual purchases. How can I view it?
Good afternoon,We are looking into building some reconciliation tools for our team to better understand and ensure that our mobile users are being properly registered into Revenuecat. We want to compare our users in our database and make sure every user has a corresponding Revenuecat record.Currently, we have team members manually running the data export job from Revenuecat and comparing user IDs from a data dump of our database. We are wanting to automate this process.Comparing the v1 and v2 REST API endpoints available, I do not see a good way to get a list of customers that exist in Revenuecat. In v1, I see there’s a customer endpoint that accepts an app_user_id as a route param, but this would require many API calls to loop through every user. And, on v2, the only customer endpoint available only returns web customers, and it’s still based on a customer ID.I would like an endpoint that returns a list of customers that has the following:app user id emailCurrently, that’s all we’re r
Looking for RevenueCat URL to send my mobile app subscribers to their mobile device subscription settings. Where can I find these?
The documentation states what I copied below, but in fact there appears to be no control in the dashboard to remove a promotional entitlement: Removing Promotional SubscriptionsGranted entitlements will automatically be removed after expiration. To remove access to an entitlement early, click the :fa-times-circle: icon next to the Granted Entitlement name.(from this page) The event data for the granting of this entitlement clearly indicates it was a promotional: "price": 0,"price_in_purchased_currency": 0,"product_id": "rc_promo_Premium_lifetime","purchased_at_ms": 1712048102051,"store": "PROMOTIONAL","takehome_percentage": 1,"transaction_id": "07cfd55a01f61543a7e525bcf8bf9950" Please tell me where/how to remove a promotional subscription from a customer.Thank you.
I'm using RevenueCat to track my subscriptions, while using another tool to track non-consumable in-app purchases. The problem is that RevenueCat adds the revenue from non-consumables to the MTR, and this increases my cost with RevenueCat.Is there any way to exclude non-consumables from RevenueCat?
why does the “New Customers” number changes retroactively?Active Subscriptions not increasing...6 may, I see 830 New Customers 7 May, I see 893 New Customerswithout any purchaseApp is live...
