Same app used for different users
Steps:User A logged in with App User Id A. User A make purchase and a transaction created against user Id A on revenue cat. User A logged out from the app. User B logged in to the same app with the User Id B. User B make purchase and a transaction created against user Id B, But User A’s transaction app user Id updated to B.My issue is I want both the transactions with separate App User Id and to updated with latest one.Where and What I am missing here? Is there any configuration I need to do?
Fields in webhooks should be standardized
I would like to propose that the is_trial_conversion field be added to all webhook calls. From what I see this is the only field that does not appear in every call. Having well known fields across all event types would save on server side logic to handle missing fields. While I understand that it may seem irrelevant to have this data in a Cancellation for example, the same can be said about takehome_percentage, is_family_share, and several other fields - yet those do appear.
How can I use filters for users with offer codes used in the In-App Purchases?
Hello Revenue-Cat Community, I’m looking to solve the following challenge:We created several different Offer-Codes for our In-App Purchases, which are used for different Sales Chanels, for ex. Influencers or Websites, etc. That is working great.How can I filter my Charts in Revenue Cat to see which OfferCode is used?I’m seeing the OfferCode used for the sale when tapping on the Transaction, but I can't find a way to filter for specific offer codes. Do you have any suggestion for that challenge?
Summary panel about purchase history of a customer?
Hi,Is there a way to see a sum up of the purchase history of a customer? Like how many renewal until now, when was the initial purchase, and details like that?I know there’s a list of the history, but then it’s hard to tell how many renewal until now, and when was the initial purchase that generated all those renewals and revenue, and so on. Cannt read dates from customer list .CSV export
I am unable to view dates when exporting the .CSV from customer lists. 1) .gz is a silly file type to use for compression 2)I have followed the directions in this for PC. I have tried the Excel import wizard. It works but dates are illegible. I have tried pasting from a text editor into both GooglSheets and Excel with the same issue. I am not an Excel nor Google sheets rookie by any means but this issue has stumped me. Extremely frustrated. .csv is an extremely simple format to use and export.
Number of Customers are way off
Hello! In my DB I have around 600 new Users and in RevenueCat I have over 1800 new Customers, both numbers are from only January 2023. The difference is way out and I can’t figure out why.Is there any advice on the correct way to filter de Customers so that I can match my DB users with the RC customers?Also, when I export the data there is some weird information like:has_made_sandbox_purchase has 3 different values: t (true), f (false), empty is_rc_promo has 3 different values: TRUE, FALSE, empty The empty parameter appears in many results in many attributes and its confusing.Hope you can help me understand why is this and how can I get the correct number of Customers.Thanks in advance!
When is the right time to conclude an experiment?
I’ve read the article Experiments: Debugging and best Practices for A/B Testing that was probably written when Experiments were still in beta. The documentation mentions an “LTV Chart” with a gauge to determine when you can conclude an experiment.. However, I can’t find that my RevenueCat dashboard. My case: I have two subscription groups that both contain a monthly and yearly subscription. The trial length for the subscriptions between the groups are identical. The only difference is price.I’ve been running the experiment for around two weeks now, and see positive results. However, it’s still unclear for me when I can finish the experiment.
Scheduled Data Export -
Hi there, I’m having trouble trying to match data from the scheduled csv exports to the data as displayed on revenueCat dashboard. Can someone please assist? I’m not sure where I’m going wrong with my querying. For instance, to count actives and actives lost for the month, I count the distinct user id grouped by start date, then for lost I group by unsubscribe_detected_at instead. However, my metrics do not match what is on the dashboard. I’m off by a few hundreds sometimes.
View revenue forecast based on active trials?
Hi thereI can see charts for our Active Trials and would like to see a future projected revenue forecast based on when those trials are due to convert.Even better if it accounts for our trial conversion rate based on product, but no problem if I need to guesstimate that myself.How might I do this?Tobin
How can I get the data from an experiment?
Hi,I recently ran an experiment to test a 3-day vs. a 7-day trial. I would like to see some numbers that are currently missing from the report (like trial conversion rate), so I’m wondering if there is any way to export the data from an experiment?Thanks in advance!
Feature request: Set project currency
Hey, We are a UK based business, with 90% of our subscriptions coming in as GBP. It would be great if your graphs and etl jobs could be set to convert to the currency of your choice rather than USD. The issue I have is due to currency rate changes if we compare year on year revenue numbers, it’s hard to do that if the currency rates have changed significantly in the same period. Right now the USD to GBP rate has changed about 10-15% year on year, hence this being a bit of an issue for us.ThanksJohn
Customer Details show multiple events one subscribed once
Hi,I have created a subscription and test it on device. I subscribed using my developer account as TestFlight what I see in customer history page is, multiple subscription after every few minutes. Please explain is it normal or I did something wrong in code or not setup properly ?. Look at the screenshot I hope you understand what I mean. I only done purchase once and close the app on device.
Number of renewals for Yearly plan happening each month
Hello, I’m trying to see the number of renewals for our Yearly plan happening each month but can't find this in the Charts section. When I look at our Yearly renewal revenue in a given month and divide it by the Yearly renewals in that month from the Subscription Retention chart, I see a subscription price that is much higher what it should be. This suggests that there are Yearly renewals happening each month that are not contained within the Subscription Retention chart. My guess is these are upgrades from our monthly plan or other non-standard renewals? Is it possible to see the all Yearly renewals happening each month in RevenueCat? Thanks!

It is suggested to turn off isAutoLogAppEventsEnabled from Facebook in code. ttps://www.revenuecat.com/docs/facebook-ads#2-send-device-data-to-revenuecatFor Facebook Ads integration to work, should I turn off the “Log in-app events automatically” for both IOS and Android on the Facebook app dashboard?
