Here is `Common Fields`.https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/webhooks#common-fieldsshows below.id: Unique identifier of the event. But, Webhooks's request body returns `app_id` instead of `id`.`id` is wrong and `app_id` is correct, right? Thanks.
Hi, I’ve observed some strange behaviour.A customer supposedly started a subscription on October 15 (3 days ago), and today they were charged for it. Since there’s no free trial period, what explains this 3-day float between subscription and payment?I dug into the user’s timeline in Mixpanel, and here’s what I found:Oct 15: signs up and attempts purchase 3 times, and cancelled each time by the user Oct 18: user opens app and restores purchase (note: MP has no record of purchase events for this user) Oct 18: RC reports new revenue for subscription started on Oct 15 (my question: why did this revenue take 3 days?)Some possible explanations I can think of:Maybe the customer started a subscription from the App Store subscription page on Oct 15 and didn’t open the app until Oct 18, which is when RC was able to detect the purchase. Maybe there’s a reporting/customer history bug in RC? Maybe Apple has some arcane/obscure deferred payment plan that I’m not familiar with.Does anyone know what c

We have 62 subscriptions showing total revenue, but around 10 say they have cancelled the subscription. In IOS and Google Play it is not showing the same amount of revenue being made. I do not understand how this can be?? I am not experienced in Apps, this is my 1st app that we commissioned to have built
Hello,Is it possible to get Apple Search Ads campaign and ad group name/id data other than in Charts view? I see that in Charts view I can segment by both ad group name and campaign name. But the same data is not available in Customers view and I also don't see it in "Exports". If you don't provide this data directly due to some reason please let me know which of integrations/webhooks will.
I understood that in the past you can't direct customers to your website in order to get them subscribe, using Stripe for example, instead of having them use the Apple and Android Store and their astronomically high fees. But resent lawsuits let me to believe that in certain cases is alright to direct App clients to Stripe to get their subscription. In what cases is it alright to direct clients to Stripe? How will we manage that change in RevenueCat, do they have to cancel their subscription in the IOs App store and them create a new one in Stripe? In Android I understand that we can send a cancel request to Android on behalf the user and then proceed to create the Stripe subscription? Thanks
In the available subscriptions we have, we have enterprise level subscription options, where a Company can subscribe currently using Stripe and then all employees can access the Website or App and the price is define case by case. Questions: Do I need to include those enterprise level subscriptions in ReveneCat? Will the revenue that comes from those stand alone subscription type count toward RevenueCat fee? How to treat someone that is upgrading their subscription to an Enterprise level from an individual one (that is offer in Android, IOS, Stripe and synch using RevenueCat)? How to treat someone that is downgrading from an Enterprise level to an individual type of account? Thanks
I understand that in IOs and Android if your App is consider a reader App you can direct user outside the App store to get a subscription?Do this reader classification exists? What characteristics do reader Apps have to have? Taking into account the terms from the Apple and Android store, can I take this users from an 'Reader App' and direct them to a Stripe base payment? Thank you,
Hi,When I first used the code it was OK, but suddenly the offering stopped to bring description and title information. I am using Flutter and iOS. On the revenuecat page I can see the description, it only does not fetch it to my app. The same result in iOS 12 and 15, on real device and simulator. I can get the identifier, price, priceString, currencyCode but description, and title are empty.
Hi everyone,I’m doing my first test purchases with my app in the sandbox, and I have noticed something unusual: In the Overview page with “viewing sandbox data” turned on, the Revenue box contains the correct value, but the Revenue for the individual transaction is $0.Is that normal? Also, when I click on an individual transaction, its “Total Spent” is $0.Is that also normal?I deleted the customer and did a single purchase, and then I took some screenshots to show what I mean. Please see below. The event id in question is c1cf0445-21fa-46fb-8407-719f199177cbThanks! ================================================================ ================================================================
I want to connect a user on the web application verison of my application to the google play or apple app store accounts so that to check if they are subscribed so that i dont ask the customer to subscribe again. Subscriptions made on ios and those made on web application are taken to mean the user has subscribed and are both valid. Do i need to login the user in my web application first say using Auth0 or how does revenue cat connect the mobile and the web applications?
Hi, we use a combination of the Rest API and Xamarin Forms wrapper around the RevenueCat SDK to integrate with RevenueCat. When we first went live our account was still set to the Legacy restore behavior. This has created issues for us because users who share phones and or have multiple accounts have been aliased together. We would like to fix all multiple aliased user in RevenueCat so we have two questions if you could help please:How can we find all users in RevenueCat where multiple users/user ids have been aliased together? How can we remove the additional user id aliases and create distinct customers with those user ids? (Preferably without losing history)
I'm experiencing an issue with automatic aliasing for user ids. I have migrated some user purchases from Stripe and Android but in my upload script I used a capitalised UUID instead of lower case (which is what my mobile app uses). I didnt release RevenueCat uses case sensitive user ids. When I try to submit the purchase again with lower case UUID using the same purchase token, a new customer is created (as expected) and the purchase is transferred to the new customer (not expected). I thought based on your documentation these two user ids would be aliased and they would share the purchase, but it seems they aren't. I've made sure to add the "is_restore": "true" flag when uploading via your /receipt REST endpoint. Can you advise why this isnt working as expected and what I can do to fix?
If I grant promotional access to an active customer how does that work with their active subscription? Will it be applied straight away or once the subscription is expired.e.g. If I grant 6 months promotional accesss to the users membership, and their subscription expires a year later, will the 6 months be added after the membership has finished (18 months) or will it be running at the same time as the subscription (effectively cancelling it out). Ideally I would like a way to ‘add; 6 months free to someones membership Thanks in advance!
I’ve just launched an app into production and it’s not showing Free Trials correctly. I was under the understanding that this could be an issue in the Sandbox environment, but shouldn’t be an issue in production – however that appears to not be the case. When users do click on ‘buy’ they are shown the free trial text in the system dialog, but it's a little late by then. The Free Trial offers *are* showing when using the StoreKit config, so everything appears to be wired up correctly on the application side.Any tips?
Hello,We’re implementing RevenueCat and I’m trying to handle this case:Install the app, receiving an anonymous ID $RCAnonymousID:123 Log into an account with a Provided ID XYZ for the first time. RevenueCat aliases the Anonymous ID with the Provided ID. Switch to a different device and install the app, receiving a new Anonymous ID $RCAnonymousID:456 Create a subscription under this Anonymous ID Log into the account with Provided ID XYZ.If I understand the documentation correctly, RevenueCat will not create a new alias because XYZ already has an anonymous alias. XYZ does not have an active subscription, so upon logging in, the PurchaserInfo will indicate that they are not subscribed, and the user loses their entitlements. This seems to match the behavior I see on-device, but I’m wondering if this is this correct. Shouldn’t $RCAnonymousID:456 and XYZ be aliased? How is this normally handled?
Hello, our bills appear to be billed to “Revenue Cat”. Obviously our company name should be shown instead. How can we fix this? we could find no access to billing info.
Hello, I am currently testing my Revenue Cat integration and have a problem when switching between different users. I use my own user ID, which I send to Revenue Cat after logging into my app using the .login-method. As soon as I make a purchase, however, all existing purchases are transferred to my current user ID and only the current user ID is listed in my sandbox overview. It does not matter whether a logout takes place beforehand or not. Do I have to pay attention to anything else when switching between two users? Thanks in advance.
Hello!I had previously posted a similar question here, but then received clarification to look at the timestamps for each log individually, which cleared up the confusion. I had also double checked and disabled Grace Periods in both the Apple and Google Play dashboards. Now recently we’ve discovered another player who ran into a billing issue, but instead of the trial/membership being cancelled, they entered a grace period and their trial membership was extended by the default 16 days. Here is a view of their Customer Profile:And here is confirmation that the Grace Period is disabled in the Apple dashboard:If the Grace Period is not enabled in the dashboards, shouldn’t that prevent them from receiving an extended membership? Or are there additional calls sent from RevCat that our app needs to look for, which confirms no grace period should be given? Any additional help here would be great appreciated!
Hi, We recently switched RevenueCat account, we also created new subscriptions on AppStore Connect with new ids. But we forgot to do the subscription migration explained here. So both the RevenueCat account and the subscriptions changed. My question is : can a user already subscribed with our old RevenueCat account subscribe again with our new RevenueCat account? We don’t want to do that to our users so we want to make sure that they can’t pay twice for the same subscription.Thank you for your help
Is it possible to use the RevenueCat SDK with different flavors of the same app?
I am fetching products from revenuecat there is no problem with that I can see product details from console and they are correct from Google Play Console but the problem is that (in only Android) when I try to purchase something I am getting following error:```E/[Purchases] - ERROR( 8481): 🤖‼️ Failed to launch billing intent. ErrorCode: SERVICE_DISCONNECTED.nullE/[Purchases] - ERROR( 8481): 🤖‼️ There was a problem with the Play Store.```Steps I produce: - I configured products on google play console - I connected revenuecat to google play account (it is connected) - enabled pub/sub api - created service accounts and connected them to google play and give permissions for the current app - entered products to revenuecatAs I said there is no problem with IOS only in Android (I c

Hello!I have a live iOS application with a monthly and yearly offer unlocking the same functionality. Neither contain introductory offers at the moment, but I would like to create a free 7 day trial for the yearly purchase. Is it enough to simply add the introductory offer in App Store Connect to the yearly IAP or do I need to create a new one with a different ID?Are any modifications needed on the RevenueCat dashboard?Could existing users be affected in any way?
This Is our first Time working with this tool. We are close to the release. How can we get the purchases made with the last tool? Is it possible to lose the previous subscriptions of our clients?
