watchOS 9 cannot fetch products with StoreKit 2 enabled

Coming from https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73762555/storekit-2-try-await-product-products-does-not-finish-and-does-not-throw-can I am unable to fetch any products with RevenueCat on watchOS 9 if I set the useStoreKit2IfAvailable flag in TestFlight. The call isPurchases.shared.getProducts …. { result in // this never gets called}I have also tried this with the native StoreKit 2 call (described in the StackOverflow thread) and I see a very similar behavior; essentially it doesn’t continue past the try await Product.productscall. This is all in TestFlight, I’m now afraid to push to production because I’m uncertain whether it will work in a public release. Now 2 things:is there any way for me to further debug this? RC, can you tell whether this issue will be lifted in production release? In both cases I think you really need to put a depreciation warning there for watchOS if you can reproduce the issue

User gets "Currency not supported" when trying to buy the premium version of my app

I'm using revenuecat + google play with purchases_flutter.I got a mail from a user saying that they can't buy the premium version of my app due to currency issues. They get an error saying that the "currency is not supported".Apparently it's only a problem for my app, he also says that the price-tag they get is in dollars, when it should be in their own currency for their country.What could the problem be?

Display Button Not Visible on Android

Title should have been: Close Button Not Visible on AndroidIn my code, I have explicitly set displayCloseButton: true when calling the presentPaywallIfNeeded function. The close button is shown successfully on iOS with the teal color. Google Play - How to add yearly subscription plan to exsiting monthly subscription plan

I'm aware that this community is highly interested in matters related to Google Billing, so I'd like to seek your valuable input on the following topic.Ever since the introduction of Google Play Billing Library 5, a concept of a 'base plan' has been included in Subscriptions.A single subscription can have multiple base plans. These base plans can be set up for either monthly or yearly billing.Currently, we have an existing monthly subscription plan.If we want to introduce a yearly subscription plan, here's what we need to consider."Add base plan" in existing subscription plan. Use ProductDetails to perform subscription. However, our legacy code haven't adopted ProductDetails. We are still using legacy SkuDetailsI was wondering, is it OK for us toAdd a completely new subscription plan for the yearly plan. Manually trigger webhook events

Hi,We tried to simulate a communication failure with our webhook endpoint and we noticed that failed events are no longer resent.How can we handle this case correctly? Is there a way to manually send a failed event?Also we not found in the documentation if there is an api rest that allows us to recover failed events. There isn't, is that correct? Thanks

“Transfer if there are no active subscriptions” and Apple Billing Retry

Determine if the purchase was subscription or consumable

Hi! I’m fairly new (started today) to using Revenue Cat so I may have missed it in the plethora of documentation. Is it possible to call getCustomerInfo in useEffect? Right when starting an app? I was testing like this, and I noticed that sometimes it didn't return the rights... Why is managementURL at top level in customerInfo?

I am using react native and looking at the customerInfo object, it seems that managementURL is at the top level. I am wondering why it is not inside each entitlement maybe or a better place to account for multiple purchases on different platforms..Example, if I log into the app on Android and make a purchase, then also login on iOS and make another purchase, wouldn’t I need 2 managementURLs (one for each store)?

Can errors contain sensitive information like Payment Details?

To make diagnosing issues as easy as possible, we are thinking of logging errors (as documented in https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/errors) into Sentry.Our main concern is potentially storing sensitive info like Payment Details, etc. Is this a valid concern? Or are errors guaranteed to be safe to log?

Transfer apps between Google accounts

I don't understand why I have to regenerate service credentials. I already have a project at console.cloud.google.com with everything defined. Can't I just give permission to the new Google account that will receive the app in this project?The app is transferred to the Google Play console, I don't understand this part about generating new credentials? Would it be a new project on Google cloud?

How to detect status of product when purchasing?

Following the docs and starter project for iOS-SwiftUI its fairly straightforward in implementing purchases in apps.However in StoreKit v1 you are able to switch on the SKPaymentTransaction to get the transactionState:case .purchasing: case .purchased: case .restored: case .failed: case .deferred:This is great as for each product we can get the status when a user is attempting to buy a product.When I was using StoreKit v1, I was able to add an animation to the product when it was in the purchasing state (like the App Store spinner), and then once it had been purchased I was able to disable the button and mark it as “Purchased” instead of the price.I’ve been trying to replicate this with RevenueCat API but cant seem to be able to figure out how to do it - so I’m looking to the community for some help 😅 Code that I have:// -- MainView...if let availablePackages = subscriptionManager.offerings?.current?.availablePackages { ForEach(availablePackages) { package in PackageCell(package:

Hi, I am trying to dynamically display the trial duration of my annual product. I have found `trialDuration` on RC framework but I don’t know to use it? Thank you.I am working on synchronizing user subscription statuses using Revenue Cat's SDK and Web Hook. While working, I have some questions regarding the following:During the App's Life Cycle, when CustomerInfo changes, what is the relationship between the timing of this change and the timing when the WebHook event sends a request to the backend server? Is there no guarantee that the request for the WebHook event is sent before the CustomerInfo is updated? If there is no relationship between them, how can we manage the user's subscription status with the database?  Users can purchase products both <1> during the app's life cycle and <2> outside of the app's life cycle, with the latter case being when they can directly change their subscription products. Inconsistent Free Trail Eligibility on Google Play Store

Greetings, It seems like the only “Free Trial” option for Subscriptions on Android (Google Play) that RC supports is “Eligibility Criteria: New Customer Acquisition” in Play Store’s offers.  That’s the only backward-compatible offer that RC is accepting, per docs. This offer, on the Google Play side, is only limited to the new customers (either never had this, or never had any subscription(s)).  Now, consider that a user gets this package and cancels the renewal.  After a while, they come back and want to resubscribe to the same package.On the Google Side, the user is not eligible to the offer. So no 14 days trials. However, on the RC side, we are receiving the same “14 days trial” intro_offer in the getOfferings() for this user, as a brand new user.It is causing an inconsistency between what our app is displaying the user in the UI and what they end up buying, which can cause us legal problems down the road.How can we prevent this?

How to recover lost webhooks?

Hello there, I’m currently trying to search for webhooks that have been missed due to server outage and I cannot find any past sent webhook that either got received or missed. Is there a way to look up the history of webhooks sent by RevenueCat or to recover the lost ones that didn’t get delivery confirmation? This is necessary because I use webhooks as a trigger to handle permission state changes that could affect our subscribers negatively if not handled. Is there any workaround?

Why payment verification is so hard?

Hello,We are looking for ways to integrate RevenueCat to our payment process but we are having a bit hard time to understand why payment verification in the server side is so hard or are we missing something?For the context, we are selling digital goods and our backend server needs to verify payments before completing the purchase flow and unlock the items for use of the client. The only way to achieve this at the moment [1] is using RestAPI and calling ` /subscribers` endpoint [2] but this seems a bit fragile because:SDK returns all purchases (historically) for a product as an array, so client needs to iterate this array and find the corresponding revenueCatId of the purchase that is being made. Lets assume that the last item is the last purchase, so sending that to our backend-server. Our backend calls ` /subscribers` endpoint which returns all purchases for all products for a subscriber. So the logic is the find the revenueCatId sent from client in this list for the product, check t

Stripe payment IDs

Hi, We’re trying to set up Stripe for web payments.According to the documentation, we need to send with the RC API a POST request with the following parameters: subscription ID and the app user id. The subscription id is the id we get when creating the subscription with Stripe starting with `sub_` correct?For the app user id, the documentation says:the Purchases SDK needs to be configured with the same App User ID associated with the Stripe subscription.Does that mean we have to pass the customer id from the Stripe transaction or it can be any id?

I’ve setup my payments with various subscriptions in Play and Apple store. All working fine. I need to however change the description that is displayed in my payall. I am using flutter and get offering fromofferings = await Purchases.getOfferings();I cannot see where, I can update the description of each offering? Is this in revenue cat, or the app store(s).. eitherway I can’t see where to set it?

Subscriptions for other business

Hello,I know based on legal/irs rules, we are not allowed to collect subscriptions and manually pay the person the end user is subscribing to.  I know stripe has connect, which the 3rd parties authenticate and provide their payout details (ach or otherwise).  Then they also deal with creating the IRS forms and such. Does Revenuecat support taking subscriptions on behalf of another business entity?

Hiding Consumables from Users

I want to have a lifetime free premium offer for me and contributors. Instead of creating my own backend for this, I want to use RevenueCat as well.In AppStoreConnect, the longest subscription I can offer for free is one year, which is not sufficient.Therefor I made a non-consumable in AppStoreConnect and connected it to RevenueCat.I will implement my own logic to manage which promoCode is valid for a free lifetime subscription.I have the following two questions: Can I reliably hide this non-consumable from those who are not meant to see it? In AppStoreConnect there is no way to add logic to who can see it, so does that mean if I simply never show it in my app, nobody can access it? Because I know that for subscriptions, when going to cancel in the apple settings, one can see multiple offers, and I don’t want this non-consumable to show up in any place unless with my dedicated UI for it.
