Hello everyone,How would I set up a discount depending on how many subscriptions my user has at a given time? Or is there some kind of group/package/bundle that they can upgrade to, grouping multiple subscriptions in one?I must say I am very confused with the language used by RevenueCat as far as entitlements, products, offerings, and packages are concerned. But maybe that’s just because English isn’t my first language. At any rate, any help would be very appreciated :)Thank you
My client wants to integrate revenue cat in her existing App and then want to set up Subscriptions and group promo codes in the dashboard itself is it possible?
Hello,I have noticed that when I access the Customer tab and go in Non-Subscription, it’s showing also some Subscriptions, both Active and Expired, which are not in their actual Filter. Is the Made Non-subscription Purchase Filter not working properly? Because I would like to be able to see only the non-subscription purchases.
I am trying to debug a complex problem with my webhook handler code that I have already integrated with RC webhook some time ago. I need to download the history of JSON webhook requests for the last year ideally. I see this history on the webhook integration page but it only lists that most recent 20 events. I need a much longer history and I need to be able to download this JSON. How can I do this?
I’m finding RevenueCat Experiments limited because stopping the experiment is all or nothing. If I stop the experiment, RC changes all those users back to the default offering right away and stops collecting conversion data from the users. (Except it can keep gathering some subscription renewals in some cases???).This is limiting for apps that a strong long tail conversion (ie convert a lot subsequent to first use) and even for apps with subscription trials. Consider an experiment I just did… after 4 days it's very clear that the new paywall I’m testing performs much better. So I wan’t to stop adding users to the experiment and give all new and old users who are not in the experiment the new paywall so I can see more real $ coming in. But I don’t want to _stop_ the experiment. I want to keep the experiment running but stop adding new users to the experiment. I want to leave the experiment running for another 10 days or so to catch conversions that happen on day 2,3,4,5,6,7,8… and I wan
App Subscription Launch Checklist said “Include disclosure of auto-renewing subscription details in your app description.", but Paywall does not have a field entering disclosure of auto-renewing subscription details. Should I implement a screen including disclosure of auto-renewing subscription details in addition to Paywall?
I’ve read the article Experiments: Debugging and best Practices for A/B Testing that was probably written when Experiments were still in beta. The documentation mentions an “LTV Chart” with a gauge to determine when you can conclude an experiment.. However, I can’t find that my RevenueCat dashboard. My case: I have two subscription groups that both contain a monthly and yearly subscription. The trial length for the subscriptions between the groups are identical. The only difference is price.I’ve been running the experiment for around two weeks now, and see positive results. However, it’s still unclear for me when I can finish the experiment.
I've activated an experiment that compares two different offers with different prices. On the experiment dashboard, I see allocation numbers and % difference, suggesting everything is running well. However, on the main RC dashboard ("Overview"), I don't see any customers with the new offer that I'm trying to test. Is this normal? I was expecting the new offer to show up there, but maybe it shouldn't?
We’ve been storing raw webhooks in our db for quite some time but then have also had the GCS cloud storage export going for a while. What would you recommend when it comes to analyzing raw data? is there a difference in the data structures? We want to create some of our own LTV charts, etc with our user context. CC @Jens 🙏
Hi there, over the last days I have gone through the steps of setting up the credentials very carefully multiple times.I have an app com.aaa.bbb where I initially set up the subscriptions for. It worked in RevenueCat and on the Google Play Store. Then I decided to leave that app accessible without subscription and offer a new app with identifier com.aaa.bbb.cccPainfully, I had to go through the whole process again, but it can never validate the sub API.The app is separate from the old app in Google Play (it is a new app) It has the correct identifier It is even approved and its subscriptions too I waited >36h I've set the correct google api key from RevenueCat in my app The permissions for the Google Cloud account are set to account wide, not restricted to single appNote that I'm using the same RevenueCat project as before but I also updated the identifier to be com.aaa.bbb.cccNow what is very bizarre is when I change the identifier to com.aaa.bbb in RevenueCat, all the sudden the per
How can I search for a user, by my custom App User ID, which gets set after user logs in?
Hello,I have setup some Stripe products in the RevenueCat dashboard along with an offering. When I get that created offering and look at the products listed, they are all listed as type “subscription”. I can see that there is a way to specify type when creating a product with the API but is there a way to do the same on the web dashboard? Thanks!
I have an app where it’s common for users to create multiple accounts. While this is a bigger issue we need to solve, this sometimes leaves our paid users unable to access their paid features - even after reconnecting their subscription to App Store in some cases.Right now we have several options for granting paid feature entitlements (e.g. 1 week; 3-months; 1-year; etc.). However, I would like to be able to set a very specific number of days to their entitlement to match the actual duration of their contract that they are struggle to connect to.For instance: if they have 290 days left on their subscription, I would like to be able to grant that exact number of days rather than 6-months or 1-year. The issue with not having that level of specificity is that since their subscription doesn’t match what they will be billed, we have to tell them to churn and hopefully resubscribe later on.Anyone know if this is possible?
Background:I can issue and test Android refunds via the RC dashboard.I can issue and test Stripe refunds via Stripe dashboard (note the difference between refund and cancellations in Stripe!)How do I issue a refund in iOS Sandbox testing?
Hello,Is there a way for an administrator to manually assign an app user ID directly in the dashboard when it cannot be assigned in the app for subscription information? I would like to know if there is a way to assign the app user ID directly without going through the dashboard.Thank you.
Can we establish additional roles within an account specifically for integration with third-party applications? This role would be designed to restrict access exclusively to report-related features.
Hello and thanks for providing any insight. I am trying to setup a webhooks to my AWS dynamodb to store all events so I can keep them as a backup. I noticed that after resubscribing, multiple of the same webhook is being sent. The only thing that changes is the transaction_id. So in this case, I keep getting the same type “RENEWAL” webhooks every 5 or so minutes. Most recently I counted 7 webhooks including the last one which was type “CANCELLATION” before they stopped. Is there anything I missed? Is it because it is in a Sandbox environment that I get multiple renewal actions from Apple? All webhooks are getting the correct response code 200 and there is a green check mark next to them.
Hi,I’m trying to setup RevenueCat to handle my google play subscriptions, i have followed all the instructionss and everything is good, but i’m stuck on creating Play service credentials: I followed every step in this tutorial https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/creating-play-service-credentialsand also tried the Troubleshooting the credential validation section on this tutorial but the issue is still present. what can i do?
This is the error I am getting: W/[Purchases] - WARN(24005): There is a problem with your configuration in Play Store Developer Console. More info here: https://errors.rev.cat/configuring-products I am following the guide here: Have not had the app published yet. But the interesting thing is in RevenueCat Dashboard, I can IMPORT my iNAPP products. RevenueCat can identify a new product created in my Play console, import it without any issues but can’t fetch ProductDetails! Is this normal? Again, have not published my app in Closed testing yet, waiting for review to finish. But since I’m a license tester on a physical phone, and RevenueCat can fetch the products themselves from the Dashboard, maybe there is something else I am missing?
Encountered some difficulties when adding the Amazon application.I filled in the <Amazon Store Shared Secret:> with the secret,Configured SKU in Offerings, Products, and EntitlementsDid not receive verification from AmazonI can run normally in the App Tester sandbox testing. The running process encounters a misalignment/error:“Could not find ProductDetails for com.xxxx.xxxx”“There's a problem with your configuration. None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from the Play Store.”
Hi,I a trying to set up webhook in the dashboard, but I am getting ‘Invalid URL.’ error. My endpoint is « https://api.MYDOMAIN.studio ».It works when I try « https://MYDOMAIN.com ».« api. » subdomain and « .studio » domain seem to be the cause of the error. So my question is, is it normal behavior? Thanks.
I have my CURL like so:```curl --request GET \ --url https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/subscribers/$RCAnonymousID:<sandboxId> \ --header 'accept: application/json' \ --header 'authorization: Bearer xxxxx [secret, non-public key]```In my dashboard I see the sandboxid user and that they have the correct entitlement.I get this response, missing the entitlement```{"request_date":"2023-11-21T15:51:13Z","request_date_ms":1700581873079,"subscriber":{"entitlements":{},"first_seen":"2023-11-21T15:49:30Z","last_seen":"2023-11-21T15:49:30Z","management_url":null,"non_subscriptions":{},"original_app_user_id":"<sandboxid>","original_application_version":null,"original_purchase_date":null,"other_purchases":{},"subscriptions":{}}}```This was working for me before. I was able to get the correct entitlement and everything. It seems to have stopped working. Or I did something else wrong.Any idea what’s going on?
Hi Everyone,I was monitoring the RC Dashboard and saw a user make a purchase. Everything appeared normal. Firebase UID was the app_user_id, and the firestore database user record was updated correctly. After about 5 minutes, I saw the app_user_id had changed to "Anna441994!", and a document had been created in the database under that uid.I have opened a support ticket for this, but wanted t see if anyone else had seen this and if this is a hack by some desperado.I’m concerned it may be the latter.I have attached screen grabs of the data i’m seeing.CheersMichaelC
Hi there! Is there a way to change the app icon in the RevenueCat dashboard? One of the products that I am a collaborator does show an app icon, but the other project does not (even though it is published to both iOS and Android stores).Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
None of the graphs show me this data. I want to see what percentage of our users who begin trials convert to paying users when their trials expire. Where can I find this information?
