Bulk purchases support

Hello RevenueCat community!I work in a company where we are integrating RevenueCat in our React Native application. I have a scenario where a user are able to buy a monthly subscription, but also several products. At the moment a user adds items (can be consumables or subscriptions) in a cart and then does a checkout. This flow results in us looping over all items in the cart and using PurchasePackage(package) for each individual item in the cart, this flow causes one popup (on iOS) per item which in a UX world is quite annoying. My question is: Is there a way to do some kind of a bulk purchase so that the user only has to accept on the pop-up once instead of “times equal to products in cart”?Best regards,Emanuel

Subscription automatically switches if the user reinstalls the app and re-login to another account

User A buys subscription package A, they reinstall the app to login account B, Subscription A package automatically switches to account B. Why?

Restore Purchases Paywall Button Implementation

Hello, I recently was having trouble handling the “Restore purchases” button that can be added to a RC Paywall.There is a native alert being presented each time the restore was successful, however the restoreCompleted closure only executes once. I see the purpose behind this was preventing unnecessary processing as the user has already indeed restored his stuff, nonetheless it’s completely intuitive.On a side note, the native alert showing up is prompt to conflict with some UI logic passed in restoreCompleted. i.e.: If you want to update the binding on a fullScreenCover(isPresented:) to dismiss the View it will not take effect, the binding will be updated but the View remain visible, un-syncing the binding hence making it unusable. This is the result of the native alert being shown and interfering with SwiftUI.I propose a boolean value to decide if an alert will be shown when the restoring process completes.

Getting "The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase" in production.

Hey guys! I would like to share a problem to get some help.I have an app with Expo and I'm trying to integrate RevenueCat with the react-native-purchases lib. I'm not experiencing any problems with iOS, but when trying to get the products that have already been imported into the RevenueCat console and are active on the Google Play Console, I'm getting the error message: "The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase. "PS: I'm getting this error in production and I'm trying to get the products with "getProducts" as in the documentation.Thanks in advance for any help!

iOS - Second purchase of a consumable returns first purchase data

Hey.We have defined 3 consumables, each one with it’s own price. There are multiple items to purchase in our app and because we want them to be dynamic, they’re all linked to one of the specified consumables, based on their price. The problem I'm seeing is the following. I start the app and buy one of the items (Item 1) that is linked with one of the consumables. The purchase goes through and I verify the purchase with our backend and set the item to “purchased”. If I then find another item (Item 2) that is linked to the same consumable. When calling Purchases.shared.purchase(), the SDK automatically returns the transaction I made before for the item 1, instead of going through the purchase flow. This fails the verification on our backend and the user is unable to buy the Item 2.This only occurs if the app session stays the same. If I close the app and reopen it, I can buy Item 2 without a problem.Is there a way to clear the cache or somehow force the SDK to always try the purchase?All

[Flutter/Android] introductoryPrice is null.

I'm operating an app that provides annual subscription products developed using Flutter. I'm currently working on addressing the Google Play Billing Library 4 version deprecation in this app. As a result, I have upgraded the version of the `purchases_flutter` library from 4.10.2 to 5.6.0. I haven't made any changes to the subscription product settings on Google Play.The issue I'm encountering is that the information for the free trial period of the product (introductoryPrice) is being received as null.The `storeProduct` information received for each version is as follows:Version 4.10.2:```storeProduct => StoreProduct(identifier: us.beentogether.ad.premium, description: , title: Subscription for premium features. Logic and/or workflow of RevenueCat subscription status

Hello all, i am new to the app space. I used a no code app software and I completed my app. The last part is the subscription part. The subscription is for use of the entire app. So here’s where I need help oe guidance:Flow:-User downloads my app in Appstore or Google PlayStore.-They set up an account.-Payment wall opens and they pay.Heres the help that I need to understand: How do I update user info to show they paid so they can have access, and when they cancel, they wont have access? Do i use a webhook to accomplish this?Can anyone explain a webhook and how to use it. I think my understanding of webhooks is my missing link. So right now, i can manually update a user profile and enter “true” for their entitlement. Then I can get a notification showing cancellation, then manually enter a “false.”This is no problem if i have 20-40 subscribers. If I have 1000, then this is a huge problem. Can anyone share any advice or knowledge, thanks.

Have Multiple Subscription for each products Buttons with different style in SwiftUI

I would like to have different buttons depending on the type of subscription (monthly, yearly) to be able to customize them individually. For the moment my setup works with a For Each (as below) and therefore does not allow me to distinguish between the different products by varying the design of the buttons. ReceiptParser.swift: Could not parse receipt

When a user tries to restore a purchase, it fails with a message in console:[Purchases] - WARN: ⚠️ /<project_path>/Pods/PurchasesCoreSwift/PurchasesCoreSwift/LocalReceiptParsing/ReceiptParser.swift-receiptHasTransactions(receiptData:): Could not parse receipt, conservatively returning trueI tried to debug this issue and found that it fails at InAppPurchaseBuilder.swift:87 because isInIntroOfferPeriod is nil. Released app but app icon not updating

Anyone know how to pull in the app store icon? I released my app to the app store ~10 hours ago and it has not updated yet. Last time if I remember correctly, it was instant. Is there a toggle I have to click?

Complete transaction in didFinishLaunchingWithOptions?

Imagine that my app crashes just after a successful payment. I want to know purchase to finish when my app restarts.I don’t see in the docs how to do it using RevenueCat. Unknown Error by Apple

Hello, We are receiving high volume of Unknown Error from Apple during the purchase. Let’s say 1 of 8 users clicked free trial start button gets this error with Revenue Cat. Before we had the same problem as well.“There was a problem with the App Store.”Is that normal ratio? I believe there is something weird. Best,Gokhan

watchOS vs iOS app SDK behavior when testing with config files.

I have an iOS app with a companion watchOS app. (The watch app does support running without the iOS app)When testing in Xcode with a storeKit Config file, I’m noticing different behaviors. On the iOS app, If I refund the transaction through the storekit > manage transactions window, the SDK immediately responds to the event and thus updates the entitlements etc. On the watchOS app, If I refund the transaction there is no response from the SDK. The only way I’ve been able to reset the entitlements is to go into the revenue cat dashboard and delete the associated customer. I’ve configured and implemented the Revenue Cat SDK in both through a single class such that the overall integration is identical. Similarly, they are both referencing the same storekit Configuration file that matches the offerings set up in the Revenue Cat dashboard. The bundle Id’s reflect MyApp and MyApp.watchkit accordingly. Is this the expected behavior? Does the SDK listen for events differently on watchOS?

Can I turn off auto-renew for a customer?

tl;dr: Is there any way for me to turn off the auto-renewing, so the subscription ends after a month? Hello,I have a pretty small app, so I’m still pretty new to RevenueCat.I get slack messages when certain things happen in my app such as new accounts created, subscriptions or trial starts, accounts deleted, etc. I got a notification that user xyz created an account. Great. Then they started a monthly subscription. Even better! Then I got a notification that they deleted their account. I was going to get their email from firebase to let them know they started an auto-renewing subscription, but since they deleted their account I don’t have any way of contacting them. I don’t want this person to waste a few dollars a month on an app that they don’t even have an account for anymore. Is there any way for me to turn off the auto-renewing, so the subscription ends after a month? I am also afraid of this user realizing this after a few months and leaving my app a poor review.ThanksBrad

App Transfer to New Developer Accounts

Hi all, I am planning to transfer my apps to the new developer accounts(Google&Apple)I will use the same RevenueCat account. I want to know which issues I have to handle after the transfer. 1-) Can my subscribers use the premium features that I provide with their purchases?2-) To be able to sell subscriptions again, do I need to create the credentials from the new developer accounts?3-) Is there anything else which I need to handle before, during or after the transfer? Is it possible to have more than 1 introductory offer per subscription?

We have a monthly subscription in Apple and Google which has 1 introductory offer (i.e. 1 week free trial). Is it possible to create a second introductory offer (e.g. 2 week free trial) on the same product? Ive noticed its possible the create the offer on app store connect but how does the app know which introductory offer to display to the user? We do not want to offer the 2 week free trial to everyone.

Why is my experiment data still not showing?

I stated my first experiment 7 days ago and I can see it’s allocating people to A or B variants based on data in App Store Connect but no data is showing in Revenue Cat. I still see ‘Data for this experiment will be available in 24 hours.’ Does Revenue Cat only show data from purchases, and not free trials? As that might be the case if it waits 24 hours after the first payment because currently people are on the free 7-day trial. Although I haven’t read that anywhere.

Initialize CustomerInfo error

Hi,I am adding revenueCat into my app and have copied parts of the purchase product code into a new form. I am using flutter 3.3.10 and it is not compiling the example without a lot of exceptions. I think I have addressed most issues, however I am stumped on the customerInfo.In the example its declaired at the start of the class as:CustomerInfo _customerInfo;However flutter will not accept this and requires it to be either initialise or marked as late. If you mark it as late then you get an exception error as soon as you try and run the code long before its set.How do you initialise _customerInfo?Is there example code that works with the latest release of flutter?many thanks

requestDateMillis from getCustomerInfo is always stale

The docs say: The SDK will update the cache if it's older than 5 minutes, but only if you call getCustomerInfo() However in my testing, whenever I run the below function, the requestTimeMillis remains stale, even after 5 minutes, and I’ve called `getCustomerInfo()`.I was under the impression this timestamp would change every 5 mins regardless of purchase, to reflect the getCustomerInfo request. App Store rejection due to offer codes

Our app was recently rejected from the app store due to violated term 3.1.1 around in-app purchases. With the rejection the explanation was that we enable promotional codes outside of the app, but the screen shot attached is of the in-app purchase modal - which we trigger using `Purchase.presentCodeRedemptionSheet()`. On Android, we have a custom built promotional code sheet that triggers and we think they may be rejecting our app because of this, but we are unsure how they would know. Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice?

React native App rejected from App Store because of no Purchase possible?

Hi there, My App is beeing rejected, because the tests by apple show that on an IPad Emulator the Offerings can’t be loaded… what can i do? I got through App Store Testing before without any problems and the same behaviour. has something changed? Thanks for any help? Cheers

Can I sell my video courses as consumable?

I was told to create a unique identifier for each course. But I have thousands of courses and creating a non-consumable for each unique course(apple id, google id, revenuecat ids, entitlements & offerings) is not optimal. How about I create pre-defined prices like ios: tier1, tier2 These are my consumable products: tier1, tier2, tier3 ...Each course has one of the predefined tier price. After selling the course with tier1 consumable, I’ll add the course id to user’s inventory in my rest service. That way, after the course is sold in one platform, it can be reached by all the platforms because I get my inventory from my rest service.Is this a feasible solution? Will there be any problem in that approach, especially by Apple?
