Congrats on the launch of the new Customer Center beta! It looks very cool.I’m excited about the promotional offer support, but I’m confused: it looks like we can only configure a single iOS promo offer ID per case (cancel vs. refund). But I thought that iOS promo offers were attached to specific subscriptions (plans/products)? So wouldn’t we need to be able to specify different promo offers depending on the specific plan/product the user is on? (Or the ability to specify an Apple product ID too?)Thanks!
Hi, Is there a way/what’s the best way to forward which variant a user saw during an AB test to the webhook? I want to message my users differently, depending on which price they saw. The messaging tool I use is Customerio (RC doesn’t have a direct integration with Customerio, so I have to forward data via the webhook). How do I get which user saw which price into Customerio? Thanks, Toby
Hi,I was wondering when interpreting the LTV of a user, is the Experiments feature also considering if a user cancels and requests a refund? Best,Daniel
Hi, If I set up an experiment, will it go live only to new downloads, or everyone that has the app installed? Thanks, Toby
I found three RevenueCat dashboard endpoints:https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/developers/login https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/developers/me/overview?app= https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/developers/me/transactionsI need other dashboard endpoints. Anyone can list others?
Hi all.we have the issue of very high numbers of new customers – numbers that we don’t see in App Store nor Mixpanel. Last year we tried to solve this issue with RC support, but failed. We did make some changes around how we call logout method but it didn’t help. Now, we’re hoping maybe someone from the community has/had the same/similar issue and could help us. We already saw that there are a couple of posts around the topic: https://community.revenuecat.com/dashboard-tools-52/how-to-reconcile-the-new-customers-data-1387 https://community.revenuecat.com/dashboard-tools-52/double-new-customers-since-july-15-1843 The answers on them didn’t help us. Our iOS setup is as follows:We call configure in didFinishLaunchingWithOptions with no appUserId Until user logs is we rely on RC anonymousID Once user logs in we call login with our userID It’s also possible that user buys a subscription without being logged in, and in that case we also call login but with yet another id A user can have
I’m trying to generate an In-App Purchase Key on App Store Connect as that’s a mandatory step in the set up process for iOS apps. However, App store connect won’t let me, and also won’t tell me what’s wrong. When I try to generate a key, I get a “error, please try again later” error and then immediately redirected to the home page. In the chrome devtools console, I see a 403 forbidden error. Wtf?
Hey RevenueCat Community, we are currently migrating from Glassfy and are also using the Paywalls feature. What I am missing here from Glassfy is the customisability in Paywalls and not being dependent on Templates as much. As you can see in the Screenshot, there are more values to adjust, variable Button count, Image Carousel, Paddings, Sizes, Margins etc. What I am proposing are similar features in the RevenueCat Paywalls feature. For example:Styling like in CSS: Sizes, Paddings, Margins, Borders (Radiuses)Flexible positioning and amount of ElementsWe are aware that it is aways Possible to natively create a Paywall, but here the huge use-case is that its a no-code solution, so customers can easily adapt and implement Paywalls themselves. What do you think of it and what are your experiences migrating from Glassfy?
Hi all,I’m testing the Scheduled Data Export integration but I don’t understand one thing. So there’s this option to only include new and updated transaction records, but how do I know which records are new and which are updated? And for the latter, how do I know which record it replaces? Last question, is there a way to get user events history from api?
Hello everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with my Android app "Story Craft Dices" and need some help. My app was successfully retrieving product prices and information using RevenueCat until recently. Now, in the RevenueCat dashboard I can see the error: "Credentials need attention" and "Could not validate subscriptions API permissions".I've meticulously followed all the steps in the RevenueCat documentation for setting up Google Play credentials. I've also taken screenshots of each step to ensure that everything is seems to be configured correctly. I'll include these screenshots in this post for reference. This is the relevant information of the credentials:The Google Play Developer and Reporting APIs are both enabled in the Google Cloud Console:The Service Account is already created and configured too:These are the roles assigned to the Service Account: And this is the key used in the RevenueCat dashboard credentials configuration: I created the user in the Google Play Console and in
I understand that the currency of the product is handled by the App Store, but when viewing the RevenueCat dashboards, the prices are always converted to USD currently. Is there a way to set the currency displayed in RevenueCat? Thanks,Brent
When looking at, for example, the Overview, there is a flag next to the customer. When clicking into that, or searching for the customer, there is a “Country” field. For some countries, these do not match and I am wondering why or what they represent. For example, the flag can show the US but the country of the user in the detail screen will be something other than the US. Thanks.
Hi. I granted a sandbox user access to an entitlement, but I see this action only on on the “Overview” (“Sandbox data” disabled) tab.Going to tab “Customers” > “Sandbox”, I see an older grant in the “Last Purchase”, but not the last one.Analyzing the “Customer Profile”, I also don’t see my last grant. What do I miss?
Hi, We have an internal statistics tools which collects various statistics each day, which are then used in various internal reports.I would like to add some data available in RC dashboard to those reports, for example the number of active subscription (ideally per app), and the MRR (ideally per app as well). Is it a way to easily get those informations from RevenueCat? I would probably use the API to get all subscriptions and compute those myself, but it would be much more efficient to use the data calculated by RC. Thanks,
kkkk
Our app implements renewable subscriptions for Monthly and Annual. We are also implementing a “Day Pass” where users can purchase this and have access to locked content for 24 hours. The user can repurchase after it expires. We manage the expiration on our own servers.I created the “Day Pass” products as in-app purchases and added them to their own entitlement in RevenueCat. After some thought, I think I shouldn’t have added them to an entitlement. What’s the recommended setup?
Hi! I've encountered an issue where the dashboard displays an incorrect price. I setup a base plan and an offer with a discounted price with a 4 repeating periods . I subscribed to the offer then I disabled it, for the periods following the first periods the dashboard started showing the normal price(not discounted) but I was charged the actual discounted price on the play store. So the dashboard showed an erroneous price. Might be wrong, but I guess the system is looking at the current base plan and if an offer is active or not then displays the price? If so, is it an expected behavior?
I just released my app a couple of weeks ago and I had some issues but I think I have rectified those. I then installed the app on my phone and I went through the subscription process and it worked. I got the paywall and the apple payment went through etc. This was about 2 hours ago. RevenueCat is still not showing this subscription. How long does it take before I see this? Thank you.
It would be great if we were able to choose user properties - including our own, custom added ones - for segmenting the charts. For example, we have an onboarding question that asks “where did you hear about us” to allow us to understand our funnels. We store it in the `heard_about_us` user property. It would be great if we could segment charts by that.
I’m sandbox testing subscriptions (iOS). A sandbox user created a subscription, and I see the subscription shown in the Customers portal. However, the ID doesn’t match the ID logged in the Xcode console (`Purchases.shared.customerInfo().id`). This is an anonymous user ID. Shouldn’t these IDs match?
What filters do I need in a customer list?
Hello! When I go to the charts, it shows me that "Invalid chart parameters." I contacted support a month ago, they said it was because I have a debt of $ 1800, I told them that I want to pay, they said that they would send me an invoice, but for more than a month, they either ignore or do not give an invoice. Revenuecat support is not the best, on the pro plan)
I’m using paywall builder for subscription page. But “Product Name”is not language sensitive. How can I solve this problem?
Hi team, found one problem. We received a message from our internal help center from a user, in the message found the user uses the latest app version, but in a revenucat panel `Last Seen App Version` is outdated(two version before our release). Looks like it wasn't updated on revenucat. How do you track that last version usage?
Hi RevenueCat Community,I'm working on a mobile app written in Flutter and I'm looking to implement a referral program to assign an influencer identifier to app users. The goal is to track purchases made by users assigned to specific influencers, allowing us to share the profit with those influencers each month (ex. 25% of sale). Here's what I've planned so far:Assign an influencer identifier to the RevenueCat/app user using the method below: Purchases.setAttributes({ "custom_group_id" : "influencer_A_id" }); Manually generate a raport in RevenueCat at the end of each month with sum of purchases made by users attached to a given influencer.I would like to attach a given influencer ID to a user by allowing the user to redeem a promo code (that user received from influencer) in the app that unlocks extra content. This will help in assigning the user to the influencer effectively. However, I'm uncertain about the best way to configure RevenueCat to generate a report at the end of each mon
