Adjust integration did not work

We set up Adjust Integration step by step due documentation. Also try with and without OAuth. Still no events fires by RevenueCat in integration dashboard. In per user events feed detailed info also shows:No integrations to show We also using Unity SDK if it is matter. We correctly send Adjust ID per user via SDK. No result with live users and sandboxCan you help please?

Short Expiration Windows

Hello,We noticed when testing the RevenueCat subscription, the expiration window is very short. Here's an example of a webhook payload registering a successfully initial purchase. Note that the event time is "Thu Jun 16 2022 10:45:08 GMT-0700 " and expiration time is "Thu Jun 16 2022 11:45:02 GMT-0700". What seems to happen is that after that window, we are forced to go through the subscription user journey again. It wasn't possible to connect, are you sure the URL is correct?

Hi,  I’m trying to send TEST Event to my newly created server with ssl certificate activated. But, I always see this error  It wasn't possible to connect, are you sure the URL is correct? But, I can access the endpoint using Post Man without any issue. Please, advice what should I do to diagnose this error.  Any help is appreciated. Thanks, JA

My subscriptions in Stripe do not appear on the RC dashboard with webhook setup

HiI have set up the stripe webhook using the docs and have tried to add test subscriptions on Stripe manually and using Stripe Checkout. The Stripe webhook page shows me that the events did go through as shown here: but on Revenue Cat my dashboard is still empty completely. I am not sure where the issue is and would appreciate any help!

Error: The receipt is not valid in Android Sandbox testing

I’ve successfully integrated subscription product fro iOS. But when I try to make purchase of a subscription product, The below error is returned: Error: The receipt is not valid. What’s the problem? How can I solve this?

Firebase: what is the lifecycle of a custom claim?

I’m tinkering around with RevenueCat for an app my company is releasing Q4 this year. We use Firebase as a simple backend.Context:One of our features is the submission of images for server-side processing. The submission of a job is done via a Firebase cloud function, and the abilities of the user to submit these jobs can be different depending on the user’s current subscription/entitlements. As such, it is important that the custom claims on the Firebase auth token are up-to-date when the backend function is called. Otherwise, the user might make a purchase to attain some feature, and not be able to access it immediately because the Function will reject their request. Question:When are the custom claims set, and can I expect them to be available immediately in my Firebase functions after a purchase?More specifically, if I await any calls into RevenueCat when a purchase is made, will all Firebase functions called from that point onwards have the custom claim set in the request? Subscription expiration WebHook

Hello!I’m implementing RevenueCat in my application in order to handle user’s subscriptions. I have my own database and I want to set both “premiumLevel” and “expirationDate” (so I can use the benefits of Firestore sockets). I have a few questions:When a INITIAL_PURCHASE event is triggered, I am fetching the newest data in the subscribers endpoint and then getting the user’s id of my own database via aliases. Is that approach correct? When a EXPIRATION event is triggered, I am just updating my own database and setting premiumLevel to false and expirationDate to null (no request to subscribers), is that okay? Do I need to look up for other event types or the INITIAL_PURCHASE and EXPIRATION are enough to keep my database updated?

Subscription not showing up in AppsFlyer

Hi, I recently conducted a test where I installed via an AppsFlyer Onelink and bought a subscription. In AF, the install is attributed correctly, but the subscription event never showed up (nor the associated revenue). The subscription event and revenue is sent via the RevenueCat integration with AF. Here’s a screenshot of the payload coming from RevenueCat:   Why didn't the revenue show up in AppsFlyer?  A few final notes: The subscription was a test subscription (conducted via Apple's Sandbox).  Notice the event name in RevenueCat is "renewal" (not "subscribe"). That's simply because I've used my Apple ID to purchase test subscriptions before.  The way we have the AppsFlyer SDK set up, we give it our own userIds to use. We give the same userId to RevenueCat (and all our tools). You'll see this userId in the RevenueCat payload as "customer_user_id".  Notice that the RevenueCat payload doesn't contain the IDFA. Perhaps this is the reason the subscription event isn't attributed correctl

Android offering list is empty.

Send Customer Information to Firebase - Security Rules

Hi, I was looking at sending customer information to firebase as described here. https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/firebase-integration There are example security rules here rules_version = '2';service cloud.firestore { match /databases/{database}/documents { match /${param:REVENUECAT_CUSTOMERS_COLLECTION}/{uid} { allow read: if request.auth.uid == uid; } match /${param:REVENUECAT_EVENTS_COLLECTION}/{id} { allow read: if request.auth.uid == resource.app_user_id } }} Are these security rules meant to be copy/pasted directly into firebase? They flag up some syntax errors when I try to and I’m not sure how they are supposed to be changed. I think the “${param:REVENUECAT_EVENTS_COLLECTION}” is the problematic part.

Question about integrating Firebase/RevenueCat

Should the $firebaseAppInstanceId attribute be visible on the revenuecat control panel when integrated correctly? For example when browsing a user profile on https://app.revenuecat.com/customers/x/x. Currently it is not showing up despite us sending up the id using let instanceID = Analytics.appInstanceID()Purchases.shared.setAttributes(["$firebaseAppInstanceId": instanceID])Would be really helpful to know if it should be visible there if the integration is correct.Best,Oskar

How to give promotional offer on server side?

I have a use case at the moment where a user who is subscribed to an autorenewable subscription can invite a friend and receive a free month. On Google this is pretty straight forward to implement. The problem is on IOS. I saw we can use the promotional offers in order to implement this. The problem is that I offer that free plan on the server side and the promotional offers can be purchased only on the mobile app side. Is there any way to purchase a promotional offer on our server side?

RevenueCat with Shopify

I am launching an app with a subscription offering. I currently have an e-commerce site built using Shopify. I am selling subscriptions on the Shopify site using the Bold Subscriptions Add-On, with Shopify Payments as the gateway.Bold offers webhooks for subscription events. I was thinking that I could pass these webhooks through my backend to the RC API...but...I don’t see RC endpoints for subscription events like cancel, so maybe this is not a viable solution?Is it possible to integrate the subscriptions sold on the Shopify site with RevenueCat? Am I missing a simpler solution here? Thanks!

Update existing Stripe subscription

Hi, we're trying to sync updated subscription from Stripe to RC - for example increase of quantity on the tiered product from X to Y which results in customer paying additional amount Z. This adds new revenue on that product and we wanted to sync that data to RC - tried it both through RC webhooks (coming from Stripe) and directly using RC API to create a purchase. Both result in the same - negative amount of the intial purchase amount (aka -X) on the subscription. Is there any way to achieve this?

Apple Search Ads Attribution - Not Working

Hello, we are having trouble with getting Apple Search Ads attribution data for our app. We have followed the integration instructions located here: https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/apple-search-ads, and have added the required configuration line: Purchases.automaticAppleSearchAdsAttributionCollection = true We also made sure that the iAd framework is imported in our project. Our apps asks authorization via the App Tracking Transparency framework. We are running ASA for quite a few weeks now, and have released the version with the attribution configuration more than two ago, but we cannot see any kind of breakdown by campaign or adgroup in the Charts segmentation settings. We are only seeing Organic users:  We don’t know what we are doing wrong. Is there any way that to test our configuration in Sandbox mode? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

RevenueCat Segment Appsflyer integration

Hi there,We use Segment to route events between all our tools. We have recently integrated AppsFlyer into our app and we would like to send RevenueCat events to AppsFlyer. We currently have the RevenueCat/Segment integration set up where we forward all webhook events. Ideally we would like to forward events from RevenueCat to AppsFlyer via Segment, however I believe this is not possible because AppsFlyer requires a certain event structure which includes having the appsflyerId in the integrations event property. Is there any way that we can make this possible or do we have to set up the RevenueCat/AppsFlyer integration directly?Thanks,Lydia

Is there an "admin" API for resources such as offerings/packages/products/entitlements?

We would like to either be able to create/update/delete offerings/packages/products/entitlements programmatically, or at least get a web hook notification in our backend when these are created/updated/destroyed.Is there anything like that implemented or in the works? Is there any way we can get this data by polling if not?We’re trying to implement a series of things on top of RC for handling promotions and our backends need to be aware of what the existing offerings/packages/products are. Right now the best solution we have is to manually create things in both the backend and RevenueCat, but that’s very error-prone.

Event not sent to amplitude.

OneSignal Integration Missing 'active_subscription' Tag

I added the OneSignal integration. All but one of the tags are coming through reliably. The ‘active_subscription’ tag (which for some reason was initially blank and I later filled in on the integration page with its default value of ‘active_subscription’) is present in some integration events, but not for others. I seem to get a `true` value for `TRIAL_STARTED` events, and a `false` value for `EXPIRATION` events. But nothing for example for `CANCELLATION`. Can someone clarify the intended behaviour here?

Missing many INITIAL_PURCHASE webhook events and integrations

We are missing some INITIAL_PURCHASE events (approximately 1-2k in the last 3 months) You can see the dashboard shows no integrations for this event: Despite other INITIAL_PURCHASE events around the same time showing that they did send: We rely on these events for our customer comms and engagement and also to warn users when their free trial is ending. Our webhook integration is setup correctly and this error seems to happen at random. I’d be happy to DM some event ids etc for your investigation.

Stripe and RevenueCat integration

Hey guys,I’ve followed the docs on how to integrate Stripe with RC, however something doesn’t seem to be working.I’m receiving the webhook from Stripe for the purchase (customer.subscription event).I’m trying to use the https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/receipts endpoint in order to sync Stripe and RC, however I keep getting {"code":7103,"message":"The receipt is not valid."}I’ve went over each and every ID field on Stripe’s webhook, and got the same message for all of them.What am I missing here?Thanks!
