unknown errors - possible problems with the server

Flutter package - payment slow

Our app has been rejected by Apple because the payment process is very slow. Payment sheet takes about 5 seconds to load and then an additional 4 to 5 seconds to complete payment. We are using sandbox for testing and the package version purchases_flutter: ^4.11.2We simply use the following line to purchase a product. await Purchases.purchaseProduct(‘productid’)The configuration is all correct and payment goes through. It’s just sooo slow.I would expect the payment sheet to show up pretty quickly. IAP products have been defined in the App Store as consumable products and in revenuecat as well.Are we missing something? Is this a known issue with this package?Thank you

Android app with different package ids for development and production not able to fetch products

Hello everyone,It’s a bit unclear if it’s possible to have a single Android app with 2 package ids (development and production), with 2 configured apps in the RevenueCat backoffice, and a single app in Google Play Console.We are getting an error every time we try to get the products with our .dev suffixed app"There's a problem with your configuration. None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from the Play Store."Is the only way around this to create a new app in Google Play Console with this .dev bundle?It baffles us, because this works perfectly well with Google Billing Client, without the need of any additional app on the Google Play Console.Thank you for your help!

Google play purchase working fine but at the revenuecat user subscription does not renew

Test user: I get correct data right after the purchase until the first renewal, after that, my monthly subscription is missing in purchaserInfo.entitlements.active even though it is still active in Play Store. Google play purchase working fine but at the revenuecat user subscription not renewing user can use just 5 minute(Test user). Google play renewing but revenuecat not renewing and also nothing happening in the sandbox. I have a consideration about this, I think this is about credential, i check out my credential and In my google play console API ACCESS - under the Credentials, there is info like on the picture. I created Credentials but I can't use them, Is it because of this info, should I configure OAuth consent screen? Please please please help me, i dont know what to do 😢

Sign In with Apple + RevenueCat best practices

We are launching a new app that requires users to sign in with their Apple ID (sign in with Apple). Are there any best practices for using the RC purchases SDK in combination with sign in with Apple.  One thing I was wondering was if we should rely on the Apple Identity Token as our User IDs or the anonymous user IDs vended by RC.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Flutter/Android v5.0: introductoryPrice is null

I switched today from Flutter v4.11.3 to v5.0.0 and I noticed that the introductoryPrice property value changed to null. Management URL when subscirbed with Stripe

I've been working on adding Stripe Checkout to my existing app (both Android and iOS) for web checkout. Now I need to add a 'Manage Subscription' button within the app for users to easily navigate to where they can manage their subscription.I tested subscribing a user with Stripe but the managementUrl returns null. Is this the expected behavior?If so, it would be nice to make that clear in the documentation.I have a function which I call to create a Customer Portal Session for the purpose of redirecting users to manage their subscription. I'd be curious to know what is the type of link returned if there is one for the Stripe case because I thought we should be generating a Portal Session through our own backend.

In-App Purchase Key p8 file Name

I’m trying to download the IAP Key file, but it opens in a new browser tab. If I copy the key to a file and upload, it’s rejected for having the wrong file name. I need to know (1) What should the name of the file be, or (2) How to download the file instead of opening in the browser.

Upgrade not working like intended on Android SDK

Currently using com.revenuecat.purchases:purchases:4.2.1When a user goes to upgrade a product in the same offering, I’m using UpgradeInfo to do that. new UpgradeInfo(currentProduct,1) //1 = IMMEDIATE_WITH_TIME_PRORATIONBut the user is showing that the upgrade will start at a later date . Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using v4.16.0 and when I try subscribing to auto-renewal purchase I get this error:The subscriber has reached the max number of apple receipts allowed. At the moment the app is already live and this is critical.I really appreciate your time and help.

Multiple devices, single App store ID.

Hello. I'm interested in understanding how installing the app on a new device with the same app store id is handled when both devices are logged in with different anonymous revenue cat ids.  Will the user have to restore purchases every time they switch devices, because of the "transfer purchase" behavior or are the two anonymous ids reconciled by revenue cat as belonging to the same App store id?   Thanks!

App Store with custom offer codes manually not working

app store normal subscription works. But I want to set discount offer codes and as stated in the docs I redirect the user with a URL to the app store to redeem the code for the subscription. I see the subscription in the user’s app store but there is nothing on revenue cat and when I try to “restore purchases” there is nothing. Also this offer code is for a subsctiption. The offer is discount for 12 months of subscription. everything looks good on apple side, will revenuecat understand when subscription renews or when subscription is cancelled?

How to fix `"Couldn't IRGen expression"`

After installing the framework by using Carthage with XCFrameworks, some developers have run into an issue when debugging. Is it necessary to restore purchases on Android?

Since calling `.configure` with the app user id automatically transfers purchases to the new account on Android according to the docs, is there any reason to manually call `restorePurchases` on Android? Also, does `logIn` also transfer purchases on android, or just `.configure`? should I call `.configure` again when the user changes accounts?

Unique anonymous iCloud user ID via Store Kit 2?

Hi, I’m new to RC and this forum. I’ve searched but couldn’t find anything definitive on this topic but if there is, please let me know…Is there a way in StoreKit 2 (and in extension, in the RevenueCat SDK) to get an unique identifier for the current iCloud ID or user? I'm a bit worried about this part in the SDK docs:If you don't provide an App User ID when instantiating the Purchases SDK, RevenueCat will generate a new random App User ID for you and cache it on the device. In the event that the user deletes and reinstalls the app, a new random App User ID will be generated.I guess my question is: do I have to force the current user to sign in with their Apple ID if I want to prevent the quoted behavior?Edit: Or did I overthink everything again — maybe I should ignore the iCloud ID for my iOS/macOS-only app, and just rely on the RC-provided anonymous App User ID and the restoring purchases mechanism…?

App Store Rejection - Receipt is mising

It’s crazy the amount of posts here regarding this issue.7 times I have resubmitted by app and every time it’s rejected because the receipt will not validate.“It’s one of those Apple quirks” is not a valid answer. RevenueCat should get in a room with Apple to try and fix this.I have tried the suggested “Delete and re-add your subscriptions” with no luck.I’m left with no option but to remove RevenueCat! Any other suggestions?

showManageSubscriptions never uses native AppStore method

I noticed that even on a device running iOS15, Purchases.showManageSubscriptions() loads the subscriptions UI via Safari rather than a native action sheet. This seems to be because we have:  SystemInfo.appleSubscriptionsURL = URL(string: "https://rev.cat/manage-apple-subscription")This url never passes the isAppleSubscription() test, therefore we always fallback to the openURL() method.Is this by design?

Adding our App User IDs to already existing anonymous subscribers

We launched our app using Anonymous App User IDs. Now as we have some subscribers we would like to use our own App User IDs for all our users (paying and non-paying).  To implement own App User IDs the documentation suggests either providing our own App User ID in configure/setup or in logIn. However it’s not clear form the docs if this will cause the paying user loosing their entitlements for the current app session or until they restore purchases. For us this would be a very bad user experience. We would really like to avoid it. How to properly migrate our subscribers to our own App User IDs without affecting or loosing subscribers entitlement details?

Can we test webhooks before our app is approved on the apple app store?

Goal:We want to test our In-App Purchase Flow end-to-end in TestFlight using a sandbox account and see sandbox data in RevenueCat and receive the associated webhook events. Problem:Our app has not yet been approved on the apple app store. It appears I can only provide App Store Server Notifications URLs in the App Store section under App Information. I don’t see a way to add them to a TestFlight build. Question:Is there a way to accomplish my goal before being approved on the app store, or is that a prerequisite of receiving webhook events from sandbox IAP transactions? Thanks!

Promoted IAP implementation - readyForPromotedProduct does not get called

Dear all,I am trying to implement promoted IAPs feature by using PurchasesDelegate.
