Are originalApplicationVersion and originalPurchaseDate ever expected to be nil in the sandbox?

On one of my devices, I’m consistently getting nil in PurchaserInfo for both originalApplicationVersion and originalPurchaseDate. Based on what I’ve read in the docs and elsewhere, I thought in the sandbox I should always expect originalApplicationVersion to be “1.0” and originalPurchaseDate to be 2013-08-01.I did notice that in the header for both of these properties, it says:@note This can be nil, see -[RCPurchases restoreTransactionsForAppStore:]But that function doesn’t exist.This seems like pretty odd behavior, since it’s only happening on one of my devices, both in TestFlight and running through Xcode. I can’t confirm it easily, but I think one of my TestFlight testers is experiencing it too.I also tried a few different versions of the SDK and the issue was the same. Purchases iOS 3.12.3iOS 14.7.1

SDK 4.17.8: Correct way to @Publish up-to-date subscription status in SwiftUI using Swift concurrency

I have an existing RevenueCat implementation in SwiftUI using the Purchases SDK 3.14.1 in production.I am currently in the process of upgrading to the latest RevenueCat SDK 4.17.8 and am therefore reconsidering my design choices and looking for best practices / guidance on how to implement an ObservableObject for SwiftUI with Swift concurrency (async/await) using the latest RevenueCat SDK.I have a single entitlement (“premium”) in my app for which I want to broadcast its subscription status through a @Published boolean variable in the ObservableObject, similar to the ‘MagicWeatherSwiftUI’ example provided by RevenueCat:@MainActorclass PurchasesManager: NSObject, ObservableObject {    static let shared = PurchasesManager()    @Published var customerInfo: CustomerInfo? {        didSet {            subscriptionActive = customerInfo?.entitlements[Constants.RevenueCat.premiumEntitlement]?.isActive == true        }    }    @Published var subscriptionActive = false    private override init()

original_purchase_date and re-subscribing to subscription

Hi,I am processing the REST JSON output from https://docs.revenuecat.com/reference#section-the-non-subscription-object . For a scenario I need the date when the user started the current subscription. As far as I understand the “original_purchase_date” provides the original date of purchase. This is fine as long as the user does not cancel and later re-subscribes. Is there a way to get the original purchase date of the re-subscription?Best regards,

App Store rejected because payment is cancelled

I tested my app for payment on Test Flight and it works fine I submitted my app and I get the following error message. I am not sure on how to reproduce this issue. Manage refund of non consumable

In new react native 0.71.10 project when I paste <uses-permission android:name="com.android.vending.BILLING" /> in android manifest it’s working In android 12 but in android 13 this error shown. How do I configure free trial text on the paywall

In the revenuecat documentation, the image of the example app has a string of text about a free trial.  However, in the demo app, I don’t see anything that handles free trials.  I do see some fields passed to me that I could use, but I have two questions. 1. Does revenuecat add text based on free trials automatically?  Since I can’t find anything about them in the docs but the image shows it, I just want to confirm it isn’t happening by default.If I have to handle it manually, does anyone have a good example?  I’m working in react native, so I’m thinking something like this but just want to verify the fields are what I think they are before I publish.{intro_price ? <text>Includes {intro_price_period} {intro_price_period_unit} {intro_price > 0 ? intro_price_string : 'free'} trial. Cancel before {intro_price_period} and nothing will be billed.</text> : null}

Payment Sheet not showing anymore on iOS

Hey there, we’ve been integration RC in our Flutter app the last couple of days. Until now everything worked fine and as expected. But suddenly I cannot perform purchases on iOS anymore. (Subscriptions) In fact the iOS Payment sheet is no longer showing up and sometimes I get an error of ‼️ The receipt is not valid.in the debug console. Sometimes this error doesn’t occur and it seems as if the purchased was successful. It doesn’t show up in the RC dashboard anyways in that case. (sanbox data is enabled)   I did already try: Logout and Login in with the sandbox tester in iOS settings. Create a new sandbox tester  Go back to a earlier git commit (to make sure, that the problem is not related to code changes on our side)Do you have any idea what I might do next? Best Raphael

I have been looking in the documentation but didn’t see anything related to flutter for redeeming a coded!I have implemented the auto-renewable subscription with 1 month free trial in my Flutter app and have tested using Sandbox on iOS and works fine. How can I redeem an offer code using Flutter?

Using `syncPurchases` for automatic restoring

Hello, In my iOS app the user IDs are RCAnonymousIDs since there’s no sign up to purchase a subscription. Since there’s no sign-up, when they install the app on a new device they have a new RCAnonymousID and they do not have immediate access to their subscription. There’s a restorePurchase button, but would like to have an automatic restoring purchase feature on a fresh install. I read through a similar question in this community (link) and it seems like calling `syncPurchases` on a fresh app install will do the trick. My only hesitiation of using it is if there will be an Apple ID sign-in alert if there’s no receipt on the device? I had a similar issue to this when implementing `checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility` awhile ago (link) and want to make sure it just returns silently if there’s no receipt. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

Is there an API endpoint to set the authorization header used by RevenueCat for webhook integration?

First: thanks for making this great product. I’m new to RevenueCat but so far loving it!Intro: RevenueCat offers the possibility to register a webhook endpoint, that is called when an event takes place. There is the possibility to manually set an optional authorization header, that will be used by RevenueCat to authenticate when calling the webhook endpoint. Question: is it possible to set this authorization header by calling an API endpoint (instead of doing it manually in the configuration section ‘Integrations’ > ‘Webhooks’)?

Upgrade and trial not working properly with Android

I'm currently using the revenucat webhook to manage the subscriptions (iOS works just fine) and while testing the Android purchase flow, I've been struggling with the following issues:The trial webhook is not being received as the documentation says, it's just coming as a normal initial purchase, it does not have the property  "period_type": "TRIAL" but has the "period_type": "NORMAL" instead. This is making really hard to identify when a user is trialing or already has trialed.I created the offer just as the documentation explains: The other problem I've been facing is that a user is not doing an upgrade but another new subscription purchase is happening instead, why is this happening? example situation:Starts with a premium trial Decides to downgrade to a basic planSubscription should change to basic (even that the change is not being applied immediately, the plan should be changed (probably in the end of the trial with a renewal) and at least one PRODUCT_CHANGE event should be trigg

Hi there, I am using the Revenuecat REST API to confirm a user paid. For context, we send our users a special confirmation based on the amount they paid, so they can get their payment reimbursed.I would like to get also the exact amount (ideally in €) from revenuecat REST API, but I haven’t found a proper endpoint. Does it exist? And if not, will it? I think it should be possible, since I can see it in the revenuecat dashboard if I click on a customer br

Apple rejects subscription because it is not visible

Hi there,we have an one-time IAP in our app. Additionally we want to experiment with short-time (weekly) subscriptions. We thought that would make sense in our case, since some of our users are using the app just 1-2 weeks in a year.So we created and submitted a subsription on the store, but it got rejected, because it is not visible in the app. To attach it to an entitlement it has to be published in the store, which again not possible, because it is not visible. Promotional Code

Hi, We followed the documentation and created a Promotional Offer with an offer code in App store connect. This offer just extends the trial of our subscription.  https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/ios-subscription-offers Do the Promotional Code also show up under Discounts in Products? Its not clear how we can allow users to redeem this code? We tried the  Purchases.shared.presentCodeRedemptionSheet() But that seems more related to OFFER CODES as opposed to Promotional Codes? Any pointers appreciated!

originalApplicationVersion doesn't have expected version numbers

I’ve implemented moving from paid → subscription in one of my apps and I’m not seeing the version numbers I would expect in PurchaserInfo. Here are 3 examples from Production users:    "original_application_version": "1",    "original_purchase_date": "2021-03-01T03:46:37Z",Version 1 of this app was never released, this should be version 2.    "original_application_version": "4",    "original_purchase_date": "2021-10-25T12:46:48Z",Version 4 of this app went live on 1st Feb 2022, this should also be version 2.     "original_application_version": "2",    "original_purchase_date": "2022-02-02T04:56:03Z",Version 2 ran from 20th Oct 2020 to 26th Jan 2022, this should be version 4.This is currently causing me to grant free access to users that shouldn’t have it and not grant free access to users that should!!Should I just be using originalPurchaseDate?

Deleting user account from RevenueCat SDK

Hi,Apple requires apps to provide the users with a way to delete the accounts they have set up in the app. I guess it does not only apply to the id in our login system, but also the associated information on RCat.Is there a way to remove the user id and other data from RCat altogether, using iOS/Android SDKs? I might be dumb, but I can’t find anything in the reference.Thank you :)

Purchases.getOfferings() returning too many error's

In our RN app we make a call to `Purchases.getOfferings()` in order to show the default offerings to our users. However we are getting far too many API error response’s back which is degrading our user experience. Below is an example of the error response:```{"code":"23","message":"None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from App Store Connect (or the StoreKit Configuration file if one is being used).\nThis could be due to a timeout, or a problem in your configuration```Do you have any suggestion’s on how to improve the stability of this API when calling it directly from the client?

Can't fetch one product in offering

Hello,I have a bug where my Yearly package is missing in Release builds (but works in Debug and App Store, fails in TestFlight and App Review). RevenueCat SDK appears to consume all IAP - how to make non-consumables?

Hi - I’m new to RevenueCat, and currently looking at use it to replace a direct BillingClient implementation for an Android app. For the app in question we offer two in-app-purchases - both are lifetime (i.e. non-consumable).From what I can see after integrating the SDK, it appears to be attempting to consume the purchase. Indeed looking at the SDK code on GitHub, it appears to attempt to consume any INAPP product’s, and only acknowledges SUBS.So - am I doing/understanding something wrong here? Can I support non-consumable INAPP purchases on Android using RevenueCat?
