How to show annual subscription price per month?

Sorry if it was asked before, I searched but couldn’t find anything :(What is the best way to calculate the price for annual subscription per month/week? I want to show user, how much he/she will pay for an annual subscription each month or week.An app already implementing this, is Snapchat. Can't fetch one product in offering

Hello,I have a bug where my Yearly package is missing in Release builds (but works in Debug and App Store, fails in TestFlight and App Review). originalApplicationVersion doesn't have expected version numbers

I’ve implemented moving from paid → subscription in one of my apps and I’m not seeing the version numbers I would expect in PurchaserInfo. Here are 3 examples from Production users: "original_application_version": "1", "original_purchase_date": "2021-03-01T03:46:37Z",Version 1 of this app was never released, this should be version 2. "original_application_version": "4", "original_purchase_date": "2021-10-25T12:46:48Z",Version 4 of this app went live on 1st Feb 2022, this should also be version 2. "original_application_version": "2", "original_purchase_date": "2022-02-02T04:56:03Z",Version 2 ran from 20th Oct 2020 to 26th Jan 2022, this should be version 4.This is currently causing me to grant free access to users that shouldn’t have it and not grant free access to users that should!!Should I just be using originalPurchaseDate?

Google error when restoring purchase.

If I call ‘restorePurchasesWith’ and there are no purchases to restore, I see an error out of the google billing wrapper: “Error acknowledging purchase. Will retry next queryPurchases. DebugMessage: Item is not owned by the user.. ErrorCode: ITEM_NOT_OWNED.” But this error does not bubble out of the wrapper up to the error handler provided to the ‘restorePurchasesWith’ call. How can I tell if restore fails in this manner.

Major issue with RevenueCat Paywall on iPad / iPhone Pro Max landscape mode

Hi, I’m using UIKit so I don’t know if this is also a problem with a SwiftUI implementation, but I just noticed a major issue with RevenueCat Paywalls.When you’re using an iPad (or an iPhone Pro Max in Landscape mode) and setting up the paywall with displayCloseButton: true, the paywall is either completely blank or with a split-view menu on the leftI tried a bunch of stuff to try to lock the PaywallViewController to portrait mode but none of it worked. I upload a screenshot took on an iPad Pro 11’’ running iPadOS 17 and the 2 others are from my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.(the same bug happens on iOS 15 and 16)

Hi, We followed the documentation and created a Promotional Offer with an offer code in App store connect. This offer just extends the trial of our subscription. https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/ios-subscription-offers Do the Promotional Code also show up under Discounts in Products? Its not clear how we can allow users to redeem this code? We tried the Purchases.shared.presentCodeRedemptionSheet() But that seems more related to OFFER CODES as opposed to Promotional Codes? Any pointers appreciated!

What happens if we have to change the appUserId for the same user?

We used to have an old format for handling user ids that we currently use to initialize RevenueCat with. What are the downstream implications if we need to change the user id format for all users? More specifically:Would there be a chance that the client gets out of sync from Google Play/App Store? What are the downstream implications in RevenueCat’s dashes/data reporting? Are there any other implications from changing the user id format? Manually calling getPurchaserInfo()

Hi, documentation at https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/purchaserinfo says that we should call getPurchaserInfo() any time a user accesses premium content.However, I can see that SDK updates its cache when app comes to screen.Is it still necessarily to call getPurchaserInfo() anyway?

Ionic/Angular/Cordova/Android - cannot find symbol

Hello, I am upgrading a pretty old project build on Ionic/Cordova/Angular with latest packages, and I am encourteing an issue on Android.I upgraded my project to ionic 6 and Angular 14. I also upgraded all plugins with @awesome-cordova-plugins. RevenueCat plugins are also updated.package.json:```"@awesome-cordova-plugins/purchases": "^6.2.0","cordova-plugin-purchases": "^3.3.3",``` Everything works fine on iOS. How do I get he product info from the productIdentifier

I am using RevenueCat for inline purchase and I would like to be able to show the data in the attached image. In particular, I need to show following subscription data:subscription name: Was able to get entitlementInfo.identifier but I need entitlementInfo.description. I could not get that.purchase value: Can't get that from entitlementInfo.subscription period: Can't get that from entitlement info.expirationDate: was able to get it from entitlementInfo.expirationDateIn the entitlementInfo there is a property called productIdentifier which can help me get some of the data I want. But I will need to map productIdentifier to the correct package. Does anyone knows how to do that?

RevenueCat SDK appears to consume all IAP - how to make non-consumables?

Hi - I’m new to RevenueCat, and currently looking at use it to replace a direct BillingClient implementation for an Android app. For the app in question we offer two in-app-purchases - both are lifetime (i.e. non-consumable).From what I can see after integrating the SDK, it appears to be attempting to consume the purchase. Indeed looking at the SDK code on GitHub, it appears to attempt to consume any INAPP product’s, and only acknowledges SUBS.So - am I doing/understanding something wrong here? Can I support non-consumable INAPP purchases on Android using RevenueCat?

Checking for products eligibility may trigger AppStore sign-in

Hi,We’re going to add introuctory offers to some products in our iOS app. And we want to make sure we display the right choise for each user depending on their receipts. So it looks like we could achieve this by using checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility. However, because it could result into refreshing user’s receipt, the AppStore sign-in dialog may appear. As I see from the current logic in the SDK it happens only when the receipt is missing in the app bundle. Which shouldn’t be the case for AppStore build. Though it’s a usual case for development and sandbox builds. Particularly the dialog appears if I try to call this method when there’s no sandbox user logged into device AppStore.Thus we have a concern about prompting AppStore sign-in dialog unexpectedly in the process of Apple review causing a rejection. iOS In-app purchase is working in TestFlight, not in App Store

So I have a version 1.0089 of our app. It worked perfectly in TestFlight, I send the app to review at Apple and it was accepted. The app of version 1.0089 can now be downloaded in the App Store, but the purchasing of a subscription is not working. Nothing really happens. No In-app UI is showing, even though it did so in TestFlight?What can I possibly be missing here?

[Expo React Native] Offerings Are Empty (How To Develop With Internal Distribution Build?)

Error Handling: What is "PurchaseNotAllowedError"?

I have 2 rooted Android devices for testing, both with Google Play Services installed.When getting the offerings one returned “PurchaseNotAllowedError” and another one is ok.Is this error returned by Google Play or RevenueCat?Any more info could be given?

Use Application Context for making a purchase

Hello,I am in the process of migrating one of our apps to Jetpack Compose which is using RevenueCat for processing purchases. Earlier, the code to make the purchase was inside the Fragment and hence I was able to pass the Activity Context while calling the purchasePackageWith() function. However, now the code to make the purchase is moved to the repository where I am injecting the Context using Dagger Hilt. Since, the injected code is an Application Context I am unable to call the purchasePackageWith() function. I tried getting the Activity Context using the below code but it doesn’t work. fun Context.findActivity(): Activity? = when (this) { is Activity -> this is ContextWrapper -> baseContext.findActivity() else -> null} I can pass the Activity Context from the composable screen to the repository via ViewModel but that may leak the activity. So, is there any proper approach to do the same?

fetch products without offerings

Hello, I have 2 questions. 1.In my app I am starting out with only a tip jar(going to add a pro subscription later) In the docs it is not clear how to get products without offerings(or entitlements).Under the tab `Displaying Products` it is only explained how to show products with offerings. But, as of know, I don't have offerings configured as I don't have a paywall (yet). 2.I dont really understand the difference between entitlements and offerings and what they are exactly. Can someone maybe explain it to me(the docs are for those 2 topics a bit confusing to me) Any help here would be appreciated.

Offerings not displayed when app launches with no network connectivity

Hello! I’m developing a SwiftUI app and am using code from the Magic Weather example app to implement a paywall for my subscription. The initial version is working just like I would expect it to (displaying the correct names, prices, duration, etc). However, I started thinking about different scenarios to see if my code would handle them. One of the first things I tried is causing me concern. If I launch the app with no connectivity I see errors logged, which is not unexpected. When I restore connectivity I almost immediately see some RC activity. [Purchases] - DEBUG: ℹ️ applicationDidBecomeActive[Purchases] - DEBUG: ℹ️ CustomerInfo cache is stale, updating from network in foreground.[Purchases] - DEBUG: ℹ️ Offerings cache is stale, updating caches However, when I view my paywall (which is just PaywallView.swift from the SwiftUI Magic Weather at this point) there are no offerings displayed. After a few renewals and before the cancellation subscriptions don't load in Android

I have a problem fetching the current subscriptions from the Google Play Store/RevenueCat.As you can see in the picture, activeSubscriptions is empty. The monthly subscription shows up with the correct purchase date but not the expiration date of the newest renewal.I have some active purchases, which get also displayed correctly with the corresponding entitlement, but the entitlement for the subscription also does not show up.After calling restorePurchases() the subscriptions reappears, so I don’t think it’s a configuration issue. Also directly after buying the subscription it is showing up correctly for the first few renewals (before the automatic testing cancellation). The logs show `Vending CustomerInfo from cache` so probably the subscriptions don’t get cached correctly?I appreciate any help as this is an issue we don’t want to release the app with.

How to prevent multiple purchases?

I am using revenuecat in my product.Currently, I already setup the “Offerings” as “Lifetime”.My expectation is that if I call method: Purchases.purchasePackage(package) multiple times, then there is only one time purchase.But, each time I call above method, I still can buy a new IAP.What should I do to prevent that ?Currently, I have to try to “restore purchase” and check, if restore failed => buy new purchase.
