Can I use the RevenueCat SDK attribution features to optimize my Facebook AAA (Trial Starts) campaign?

Was reading through the RevenueCat SDK documentation, and was wondering if there are any added benefit to using the RevenueCat attribution features rather than using the ones supplied by the Facebook SDK.  One thing that comes to mind is optimizing Facebook trial start events with trial complete events supplied by RevenueCat. Is this possible?

SDK Cache

In the SDK docs it is mentioned that the SDK caches user information. What is the TTL on the cache information? How stale can the information get? If a user leaves the app in the background for a few days does the SDK refetch information when the app is opened back up? https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/purchaserinfo#get-user-information

Stuck at "This product is already active for the user."

Hi there, I am facing issue after making purchase with Play Store. After click on buy button, Play Store gives error “This product is already active for the user.” when i am already subscribed and after that i am refreshing purchaserInfo with await getPurchaserInfo() and getting empty entitlement and all data. Not getting data that i am already subscribed. Purchase history is also getting empty.Please help me.Thank you in advance.

When I use the purchase restore method on ios 15, an error is returned and I cannot recover.It can be used on ios14 without any problem.Do you need any special treatment?I'm using cordova.I always use it.thank you very much.

Is there a way to prevent "You're all set your purchase was successful" message after a purchase?

On ios after a purchase succeeds a dialogue box saying “"You're all set your purchase was successful" pops up. Is there a way of preventing this?I want to ask the user to login right after the purchase in this dialogue gives the user  an opportunity to blow past the login. I’d like to make that less likely if possible. thanks

Supporting SKPaymentTransactionObserver for Flutter app

We are interested in supporting App Store Promotion for our subscription feature and noticed saw that SKPaymentTransactionObserver method is required to process this transaction. We are using Flutter with RevenueCat (and inexperienced with native iOS) and had some clarifying questions:Is shouldPurchasePromoProduct in https://docs.revenuecat.com/v3.0/docs/configuring-sdk equivalent to supporting the SKPaymentTransactionObserver? If question above is yes, does shouldPurchasePromoProduct have to be implemented on the native iOS side? Is there any recommended ways to support this in Flutter?  The documentation mentions “If your app is able to handle a purchase at the current time.”  What conditions or user states should we be aware of to know if the purchase can be handled (e.g., is it just whether we can tell our app that the user is now a subscribed user?) Thanks!

Upgrading & Downgrading with Multiple Subscription Groups

Hey all,I am a bit confused on how best to setup subscription groups on iOS and would love your help.On my app I’m adding 3 service levels (Silver, Gold, Platinum) with 4 durations each (Monthly, 3 Months, 6 Months, Annual). The 3 service levels are setup as entitlements on RevenueCat and they are set up as 3 separate subscription groups on App Store Connect.While testing, I realized that a user could be subscribed to all 3 simultaneously and upgrading/downgrading does not automatically work as I didn’t specify anywhere that one subscription is a down/upgrade of another. From my understanding on this and this post, Apple would automatically manage the up/down/cross grading with refunds and billing. My question is; to set everything up correctly, would I need to have 1 instead of the 3 subscription groups I currently have for each service level on App Store Connect and pile all the 12 products under 1 subscription group? Or did I start off correctly with 3 subscription groups and would

Manage refund of non consumable

Subscripber attributes sometimes missing in Webhook

In my React Native I set subscriber attributes before I make a purchase. However in the “NON_RENEWING_PURCHASE” webhook the attributes are sometimes missing. Is this a race condition in your system? When I process the webhook I use the attributes to perform certain actions. What would you suggest is the most reliable way of making sure the attributes are synced correctly? Retrieving Transaction ID from the REST API

We would like to receive App Store Transaction IDs when calling the REST API https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/subscribers/app_user_idI have seen other posts where developers request this, and the response from ReveneCat has been to use the Webhook.I am aware that the ID is provided in the Webhook and we are using this, however, this is not a completely satisfactory solution.Issue 1: Missed Webhook CallbacksIf for whatever reason our server does not receive/process the webhook callback then we will never know the transaction/order ID. We have logic in our app and on our backend servers that calls the RevenueCat API’s to refresh/sync user’s subscriptions. Without a transaction ID we cannot guarantee the uniqueness of a subscription.Issue 2: Legacy MigrationWe are migrating from native implementations of our app to Flutter. I have created subscription with annual introductory offer and I am trying to fetch that product to show the user current offering but I am receiving wrong data as the validity of the plans is showing in some minutes.How can I show the user active introductory price for given subscription?How can I show multiple offers with multiple offers?I am using React native 0.64.2.

Promotional Offers Eligibility

I am implementing App Store subscription (promotional) offers in an app, and I need to implement a check similar as the checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility SDK function.This article here suggest I could use an existing entitlement as a means to validate that, however an entitlement could have been acquired in another platform, thus tricking me into promoting an offer Apple will not honor.Apple suggests instead:You can check whether the receipt contains any existing or expired subscription purchases to identify these current or lapsed subscribers.Which seems pretty simple, but the SDK doesn’t seem to expose this kind of information - wether a specific product identifier has ever been purchased on iOS. ERROR: 🍎‼️ There was a problem with the App Store - Apple TV

When trying to make a purchase in the sandbox for Apple TV I receive ERROR: 🍎‼️ There was a problem with the App Store. To get around this problem I have to log out of my sandbox account on the TV and immediately log back in. This resolves the issue for 10 minutes or so when I then have to do the same thing again. Rinse and repeat. Outside of continually logging out and back in again, what can be done to more permanently solve this issue? Deleting user account from RevenueCat SDK

Hi,Apple requires apps to provide the users with a way to delete the accounts they have set up in the app. I guess it does not only apply to the id in our login system, but also the associated information on RCat.Is there a way to remove the user id and other data from RCat altogether, using iOS/Android SDKs? I might be dumb, but I can’t find anything in the reference.Thank you :)

iOS Bug: RCPurchases offeringsWithCompletionBlock offerings and error are both nil

We noticed some unusual behavior. This seems to happen when there is no clear error and we are unsure if this was intended or not. Consider the following code: [[RCPurchases sharedPurchases] offeringsWithCompletionBlock:^(RCOfferings* offerings, NSError* error){ if (offerings.current) { ... } else if (error) { ... } else { // this branch actually gets executed! ... }}];Both offerings.current and error are nil in some cases. Usually it has something to do with running on iOS simulator or when the IAPs aren’t setup properly (which can be seen in the logs), but the implication in the call is that error will never be nil. Luckily we were able to identify this issue quickly and patch our code with a workaround, but maybe the SDK team might want to revise that behavior. We haven’t tested  if other calls have the same issue or if other platform SDKs have it.

Is there a way to get notified when transaction has been completed? If not, what options do we have, we can iterate through purchaserInfo.nonSubscriptionTransactions to get all in-app purchase?

App crash on purchase in certain countries (Russia, China, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, and Bulgaria)

We’re having an issue that seems to only be present in certain foreign markets. So far, we’ve received reports in: Russia, China, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, and Bulgaria.Everything seems to be working well in other regions.The issue is that when a user selects a package to purchase, whether this individual user is on iOS or Android, clicking to purchase the package, which uses the purchases_flutter library, crashes the app and presents the default error screen. Any ideas as to things we may be doing wrong?

Prices off by 1 cent (ish)

When I use the price string from the API, we see 12.99 like we have in the Apple app store. However, when I access the price itself in the Flutter client library, I see 12.989999771118164. I am not manipulating this price at all, I am printing it directly from Flutter lib. Do you think this is: 1) Apple weirdness 2) RevenueCat API bug OR 3) Flutter bug?

Creating a mock CustomerInfo to use for a Swift UI preview?

Hi All,I’m trying to use Swift UI previews in order to develop my subscription screen, and I want to pass through the `CustomerInfo` object I have stored in my view model to do that (similar to the MagicWeather test app)But unfortunately, the CustomerInfo() initializer is not accessible outside the module - if I try to create example info, I get the message “'CustomerInfo' initializer is inaccessible due to 'internal' protection level”This similarly prevents me using a convenience init (since I can’t call the original init) which is what happens in the internal Revenue Cat tests (as far as I can tel)Has anyone got this working, or does everyone just develop on-device?Thanks!Nik

Can I ignore or delete a lifetime purchase made in the App Store sandbox?

Hello! We’re about to release an app using RevenueCat (via the React Native SDK) on iOS. Our app has options for monthly and annual renewing subscriptions, plus a lifetime purchase option. The lifetime option is implemented as a non-consumable purchase in the App Store.The issue we’re having is that once a user has purchased a lifetime subscription in the sandbox, there seems to be no way to ignore that purchase in the future without also ignoring other purchases with the same entitlement. I can manually grant an entitlement for a user, but when I call getPurchaserInfo() in my app, entitlements.active.xyz will contain the sandbox purchase, not the one I granted - the sandbox purchase seems to be taking priority. So either I have to treat sandbox lifetime purchases as valid, or add client code to ignore lifetime purchases made in the sandbox. But if I ignore sandbox purchases, this would seem to have the affect of also ignoring non-sandbox purchases for the same entitlement.This is a co
