Paywall issues with flutter-android

unable to build android with on a flutter project enabled for paywalls. was working fine with previous purchases package but looking at below error. notes: tried updating java version to 17 and respective changes in gradle files etc..,increased minSdkVersion, separate note was able to build on iOS and paywall works as expected logs hereCaused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to transform '/Users/CC/.gradle/caches/modules-2/files-2.1/androidx.compose.material3/material3/1.1.0/dfa0976101de9daf0c4676fb7227fd540d4d1a08/material3-1.1.0.aar' using Jetifier. Reason: IllegalArgumentException, message: Unsupported class file major version 61. (Run with --stacktrace for more details.)

AllPurchasedProductIdentifiers for multi-quantity purchases

I’m using customerInfo.AllPurchasedProductIdentifiers to check purchased products. Some consumable products I bought multiple times has only 1 reference in this AllPurchasedProductIdentifiers list. Is there a way to see how many times a product is bought?

App crashes when i try to show a pay wall in react native (Android)

Customer history seems to miss Expiration event

I have another example of a customer history where I am not sure if it should currently have or not have entitlements. For reference customer id is zFJvdHtkE2evnc9fnhtGVNLcDt52.The webhook events are in this order:  What seems to be missing is another EXPIRATION event. Feb 21 should be when the grace period expires and the subscription should end. But at this time after one renewal and after pausing the subscription, we have yet to receive any information of the latest status. RC console says that Subscription expired on 2024-02-18. Is there any reason no webhook event came in in February?

Major issue with RevenueCat Paywall on iPad / iPhone Pro Max landscape mode

Hi, I’m using UIKit so I don’t know if this is also a problem with a SwiftUI implementation, but I just noticed a major issue with RevenueCat Paywalls.When you’re using an iPad (or an iPhone Pro Max in Landscape mode) and setting up the paywall with displayCloseButton: true, the paywall is either completely blank or with a split-view menu on the leftI tried a bunch of stuff to try to lock the PaywallViewController to portrait mode but none of it worked. I upload a screenshot took on an iPad Pro 11’’ running iPadOS 17 and the 2 others are from my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.(the same bug happens on iOS 15 and 16)

originalPurchaseDate nil in production environment.

I’m using the following code to set originalPurchaseDate: Purchases.shared.getCustomerInfo { info, error in            if let error = error {                print(error)                return            }            if let date = info?.originalPurchaseDate {                UserDefaults.standard.originalPurchaseDate = date            }        }However I noticed `info?.originalPurchaseDate` is nil (either the info or originalPurchaseDate) in production. (I extracted UserDefaults on my JB device, the app is installed from the AppStore and I can see the StoreKit/receipt is present as expected)In the debug build the info (CustomerInfo) is not nil, but as expected the `originalPurchaseDate` is not available.What could be the problem?I want to use this code in my second app which I’m moving from the paid-upfront to freemium, but it seems I might not be able to use it.Thank you.

Unexpected Resubscribe Flow

I can’t seem to find my flaw that just happened documented (looked here). What I think I have happened in production is this flow, but data tells a slight different story.The revenue cat dashboard for the customer has this order of events:But the events that came via the webhook are in this order:These 2 don’t seem to match exactly. How do I tell what happened and if the customer should or not have entitlements at the moment?Also this means that after an EXPIRATION event, it is possible to receive a RENEWAL event for Play Store as well? The documentation seems to say that this is only for iOS and that Google will always send INITIAL_PURCHASE after an EXPIRATION happened (documented here).Should I always grant back entitlements to a user when I received a RENEWAL regardless of anything else?

Purchases.getOfferings returns "Error: There is an issue with your configuration. Check the underlying error for more details" on Android

So I followed the official revenue cat website set up process.I’m using RN and I plan to publish my app to android first then to the app store (So right now I’m only focusing on Google Play).So after following this sample example : https://github.com/RevenueCat/react-native-purchases/tree/main/examples/MagicWeather. I got stuck on the Purchases.getOfferings that was returning : `Error: There is an issue with your configuration. [iOS] App Store Promotion implementation: purchases() method never called

Hello, I’m trying to get App Store Promotions for In-App Purchases working through RevenueCat. Purchases not restoring automatically on Android when calling configure with another app user id

I am working on preparing an Android app to properly support the `Transfer to new App User ID` behavior. Up until now, the project on RevenueCat was blocking transfers. The app offers access to content based on a subscription, and the users require an account to purchase any subscription. While reading the documentation, I noticed this section that mentions the following auto-transfer behavior:So I made the following changes - as instructed by the docs here - , to make sure the existing subscription tied to the Google Play account doesn’t transfer to an anonymous user id:Only call `configure` or `login` on the SDK when the user is logged in the app (has a user id) Never call `logout` on the SDKHowever, the problem that I noticed is that when I log in to another in-app account, the auto transfer behavior that is mentioned on the doc snippet shown at the beginning is not happening. RevenueCatUI PaywallView doesn't disappear and no entitlement after purchase with Apple Sandbox User

My Environment:iOS 17 SwiftUI RevenueCat 4.33.0 Xcode 15.2My Problem:I have set up two subscriptions in Apple App Store Connect and RevenueCat according to the documentation with one entitlement (“pro”), 2 products, packages and one offering. I have configured a paywall in the RevenueCat dashboard. In App Store Connect, I have configured Sandbox test users. In my App I use Sign-in with Apple to sign in with the test user  and I use the Apple user ID to sign-in with the RC appUserID. In the RC debug overlay, I see the correct user ID and the former anonymous user ID. When I open the RevenueCatUI PaywallView in my App running in the simulator, I see the 2 offered subscriptions. Then I click the buy button and the Apple purchasing dialog opens with the chosen subscription for the Sandbox User. When I click to buy the subscription, I hear a “bing” sound (normally indicating a purchase). Then the Apple purchase dialog disappears and a progress indicator is visible in the purchase button of

React Native Hard Paywall

I need a Hard Paywall with React Native. The close button causes a lot of problems.One solution is to create a button that says “Next” that will launch the Paywall if needed.This some what works, but the user is still allowed to close the paywall after they pay, and while its still processing the payment which takes up to 15 seconds. Then the flow is completely mixed up. I don’t get any feedback until the payment has completed and changed their entitlement. Is there any solution for this?

V1 API not returning sandbox data

Purchased on iOS with app user id, but same app user id on android not showing anything

Experiencing a TCP timeout when calling purchasePackage method (Ionic / Capacitor)

Hello,I’m building an Ionic mobile app with the Capacitor plugin and testing payments for IOS and Android in sandbox mode. I have the Google Play store payment working properly in sandbox mode but with IOS I am having an issue with the purchasePackage method.I am receiving offerings and packages properly, using the IOS key, but when I pass in a package into the purchasePackage method, a TCP timeout occurs. I assume this is because it is reaching out to an API and waiting for a response that it isn’t getting. How can we get past this or is this a known issue with developing with Ionic Capacitor and IOS payment subscriptions? Unable to Purchase Product on iOS (Sandbox)

Hi everyone, I am new here. We’re using react-native-purchases for in-app purchases. Somehow, it was working fine till today on iOS and Android but things started to break on iOS ever since I have decided to delete subscription groups and items from App Store Connect. Basically, I deleted the previous subscription items (also the groups), then I created another group and put all new subscription item into that group. I didn’t touch the in-app purchases tho.When I started testing IAPs (subscriptions and consumables) using sandbox account and with my TestFlight account as well, I have been getting the following error:There was a problem with the App Store. Problem communicating with the Store when trying to validate the receipt.However, everything is working fine on Android.  I have double checked my app store connect configuration and RC. Website and Stripe integration best practices

Hi,We are looking into using the RevenueCat integration with Stripe to provide our users with a way to purchase subscriptions via our website.I have looked at the RevenueCat docs but it is not clear to me to the ideal way to do this. Should the RevenueCat SDK be embedded in the webpage? This would require the public key to be in clear text on the web - is there an issue with that? I know that it is a public key and is usually embedded in an app, but this is still more secure than having it on a website. Another option is to proxy requests via our own backend? And how would you suggested we list available offerings on a website? The getOfferings API requires an app_user_id however we would like to display offerings on our website homepage before any form of user has been created.Thanks for your helpDanny

Although the process do not reach the end because of a raised error, but the error is very general, and not clear at all. "There is already another active subscriber using the same receipt." error occurs when trying to purchase a non-renewable product

As the title suggests, I am having trouble purchasing a non-renewable product on my app.Here is an overview of my current setup:Flutter app (with products that can be purchased via app store or play store) Web app (with the same products that can be purchased via Stripe) Server (acts as the backend, is used for authenticating users on login)The non-renewable product is specific to each user. In other words, if user A logs on to the app and purchases the product, then any privileges associated with that non-renewable product will be granted to user A. Localization issue, duration always returned in english

We’re trying to display the duration of a subscription using Swift and the IOS SDK but the locale isn’t honored and the duration is always return in english, e.g. “1 Year” instead of “1 Jahr” for german with “de” locale. How to reset purchases when users switch Apple accounts

I noticed that when a user bought an IAP (no-consumable) on a macOS device, and then switched to a different Apple account, the new account still had access to pro features. I tried restarting the app and clicking the restore purchases button (which called `Purchases.shared.restoreTransactions`) but they didn’t help. I think the cause is Apple doesn’t refresh receipts for apps when a new account is signed in. I’m wondering if that is expected and what is the best practices to deal with that (ex should we just ignore those cases or there is a method to refresh receipt explicitly (and if that’s the case, should we invoke that method on every launch?)).
