Paywall Localization Character Limit

I use Paywall(Beta) . I want to translate into 20 languages, but I'm stuck with the character limit. How can we fix this?localized_strings: must be less than 4000 characters

Subscription Active on playstore but subscription is not activated on the App.

Hey friends! I have recently released an app on open testing (beta). When my users purchase a subscription, the google play initiates the purchase, the payment gets processed and the money gets deducted. After successful payment, it gets redirected to the app and the subscription is not seen active on the app. When i try to pay again for the subscription the playstore says you already have an active subscription. The transaction is shown on the play console dashboard also. But there is no update in the revenue cat. The customers list remains zero on my revenue cart dashboard. What should I do now?

Web purchase work flow?

Can some one outline the workflow process for a subscription purchase on a website then redeeming it on an iOS app, for example unlocking a feature? I understand the purchase on iOS workfowiOS app initiate purchase > revenuecat > ios appstore to process payment > revenuecat > iOS app to unlock feature What is a web flow look like? , especially one with a stripe payment process? I know a user ID will have to be set on a website.

After upgrading our Flutter environment from version 3.13.8 to 3.19.3, we encountered a persistent error when fetching offerings from RevenueCat using the purchases_flutter plugin. The number of active subscribers that Revenuecat gave us does not match the table we created

Hello,We want to create our own dashboards from the raw data that we received from Revenucat. We transfer the data to BigQuery about 1 day behind. When we group monthly active subscribers by month, we cannot match them with the data in the table that revenuecat provides us. Meanwhile, we find minor differences acceptable. Unfortunately the difference is too much.For example, while the number of active users in May is 1419 in our code, it is 1893 in the active subscriber chart of Revenucat. I am sharing the SQL code I wrote. The logic we have established here, in short, is this. We got price_in_usd > 0 to eliminate trial users so that data is not duplicated. We also set the sandbox area to false to avoid getting sandbox data. We thought that the original_store_transaction_id refreshes itself when creating the store transaction id with every purchase. That's why we thought that when we group and count the original_store_transaction_id by months, we can reach active subscribers. So wha

Slack webhook returns response 400

Good afternoon.I have set up the Slack Webhook as per the instructions but whenever I send a test webhook or also with the test purchases in the sandbox, I always get a response 400.The curl hello world from the Slack page works perfectly and I can see the message in my Slack channel.Perhaps something has changed in the way Slack expects the messages to be formatted? In the sent json I don’t see the “text” field that I see in the Slack test webhook.Thanks a lot.

Subscription Renewal with Block Restores

Hey,We are looking into the available ‘Restore Behavior’ configurations from RevenueCat, and I believe based on our business requirements we need to use the ‘Block Purchases’ option. Our app requires an account to make a subscription purchase, and requires the user to be logged into that account to use any subscription entitled features. One concern we have is how the ‘Block Purchases’ configuration behaves when a subscription renewal occurs. The ‘Restore Transactions’ behaviour makes sense, as this would require the customer to log into the account that initially made the subscription purchase. But what happens if the logged in user at the time of renewal is different than the logged in user who initiated the subscription? We are currently still configured to ‘Alias (legacy)’, but from our initial testing it seems like a subscription renewal is applied to the currently logged in RevenueCat user. In the customer history for this account, they do not have a ‘started subscription’ event,

Hi,I have multiple entitlements in my app and I want to group the products under respective entitlement on my paywall. I am able to get only purchased entitlements from `getPurchaserInfo` . Is their a way to get the "Associated Entitlements" for all products (both purchased and not purchased)? Thank you

How to test checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility on iOS?

Running a Development Build as well as a TestFlight build both return UNKNOWN STATUS for the iOS method `checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility`. I have read other posts that state Sandbox users won’t have a receipt on file to validate, but won’t brand new users NOT have a receipt on file to validate as well? Shouldn’t this scenario make them eligible? Also why would a TestFlight build be returning Unknown Status? I am hesitant to use this method if I can’t even get it to return anything but Unknown. "react-native-purchases": "^6.1.0"

Php google and apple sdks

I want to connect a user on the web application verison of my application to the google play or apple app store accounts so that to check if they are subscribed so that i dont ask the customer to subscribe again. Subscriptions made on ios and those made on web application are taken to mean the user has subscribed and are both valid. Do i need to login the user in my web application first say using Auth0 or how does revenue cat connect the mobile and the web applications?

expirationDate in entitlements with sandbox

I created a 6 month subscription entitlements, and run my app in sandbox. All was fine. However, the next day, I found that the entitlements was no longer active. As the valid period was not 6 month, but just 12 hours. Was this normal? Would this be the correct 6 month in production if I was not in sandbox? Or there were something I was missing?

AB experiment favoring variants with actual renewal data?

Hi there, we’ve been running an experiment with two different annual prices for over a month now:Variation A: $12/mth and $50/year Variation B: $12/mth and $60/yearWe noticed the following behavior:The test has always been close, but slightly favoring Variation B for the first 4 weeks Then after the first month was over and the first set of monthly subscriptions were renewing / churning the test completely shifted towards favoring Variation ASo now we are wondering what happened and whether we’d need to wait for 11 months more and once the annual subscriptions start to renew, the picture would look completely different again.How confident can we be that these results are reliable and we should get rid of Variant B now?Also is it possible to get some more insights into the breakdown of the collected data for the tests? Since those tests are very important and the prediction model is somewhat of a black box, it would be very nice to see how many monthly vs annual subscriptions were start

Subscription Groups / Entitlements

Hello! I am planning on increasing the price of the subscription to access my app. I want to keep all current users on the existing price, and only increase price on new users. I am planning on creating a new subscription group (iOS) and the google play equivalent so that new users cannot go into settings and switch to the cheaper subscription plan that my legacy users will be on. My question is: can my new subscription group be connected to my existing RevenueCat Entitlement? Or will I have to create a new RC Entitlement for each subscription group? TIA!

Transfer Purchases vs Block Restores

It’s on a related topic, but not identical.Can someone explain why the following is occurring please?RevenueCat initialised and anonymous App User ID is created We create our own App User ID and call the logIn() function, passing that ID in We make a purchase When our Webhook runs, we receive the new App User ID (created by us) in the app_user_id field, but we receive the old, anonymous App User Id (created by RC) in the original_app_user_id field.In theory this shouldn’t be a problem and we should be able to ignore the original_app_user_id field as irrelevant information, but we need to use Block Restores to ensure that purchases are assigned to one Apple ID and one only. Find all purchases made by user

Hi all, I want to find all purchases made by the user on IAP, in my app’s code. Actually due to some UX issues, some customers have bought both the lifetime and monthly subscription of the app. Now I want to identify such users while they run the app, and instruct them on how to claim refund for one of the purchase. What is the best way to do this, since I don’t have any email id identifier for the users, I was thinking of adding code to identify such users in the app itself, any pointers on what functions can I call from RevenueCat’s SDK for me to solve this issue. I am looking for iOS based solution 14.0+.

lastPurchaseDate is equal to expitationDate on Sandbox

Way to bulk apply RevCat entitlements?

Hi allLooking at potentially doing a campaign where group of users get X days free access to app. Many of these are previous subscribers or trials that no longer have an active subscription. I know on the customer level we can manually apply a single entitlement. Is there a way in the RevCat console to do this in bulk? e.g. all customers in a list (from RevCat customer list) get an entitlement applied? Thanks

Webhook came with huge delay (question for revenuecat it)

Please have a look at this customer:https://app.revenuecat.com/customers/64393e08/044c7fb8-183a-4928-be54-44b513ccd58aAccording to the history he bought a subscription with us on 19th August. But the webhook was fired today. This is a delay of 5 days which is totally unacceptable for an in app payment.Please verify whether the buy date (19th Agust) is really true or an errorAnd if it is true, you have to make sure such delays won’t occur anymore. Such huge delays can make customers get really mad and make them want their money back.

Introductory Offer Stopped Working for Reviewer

Hi there, so my app has a few options for subscriptions. A couple of those options have an introductory offer. When my app builds my paywall VC it fetches all my products from Revenuecat and uses them to fill in the regular price from the products respective .localizedPriceString. The setup function then passes through a guard which checks if the user has subscribed before by calling .getCustomerInfo and verifying if both .entitilments.all and .allPurchasedProductIdentifiers are empty. If they both come back empty then the introductory prices are added to my paywall vc as well to be presented to the user.In my own sandbox testing this seems to work fine. I submitted my app for review, and it has been rejected a few times now. The first couple were for other issues so assumed the paywall experience was fine. The Revenuecat customer sandbox account seemed to say so. However I have now been rejected a couple times in a row because my paywall is preseting the reviewer the intro pricing but

Do I need one service account for every app?

I am already using revenuecat with Google Play for one app. Now I am going to release a second one that also has inapp products.Do I need do create a second service account in Google Play? (https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/creating-play-service-credentials 2.) 2. Create Service AccountNext we need to create a service account. This is done from the Google API Console. 2a. Select Create Service Account Or can I use the one I created for my first app also for the second one?There is no guidance whatsoever if you have several apps and the whole pricess seems very complicated at first glance. I don’t want to break anything in my actively selling app.
