How to implement limited functionality subscription?

I have an app that user can use to create new videos. I want to offer two plans, Lite and Pro. Lite subscription allows to create 5 videos / week. Pro version allows unlimited videos per week. How to implement this kind of subscription model? The main challenge seems to be checking how many videos are created during a billing cycle. Is there a way to get the current billing cycle information from the API?

Cross-platform get billing amount

Hello,So I have my app set up and working very nicely using revenueCat, however there is one tiny issue that I hope someone here can help with.I have a subscription management page where I am displaying some details, where ‘next billed amount’ is one of them, that is displaying the amount billed string that I can only find in the offerings object.So far I have been fine with just comparing the productId found in the offering object with the id in the active subscriptions from the customer info object. The thing is, if the user purchases that product on an android device but then switches to iPhone, then I can’t currently get the billed amount, because the offering is now returning the product Id of the iPhone product which is different to the android one. So comparing the two returns falsy and therefor an undefined amount. So I am wondering how others may have gone around this. One solution I do have in mind is naming the identifiers for android and iOS products exactly the same, but w

Get Offerings Errors randomly in Production: better to hardcode offering details?

I am getting another random error in Production when I fetch my products. Is it better to hardcode my 2 offerings: Monthly & Annual instead of relying on RevenueCat `getOffering()` API which is resulting in errors too often? None of the errors happen locally, only in production. Logging is useless.

How long does it take RevenueCat's Stripe Dashboard App (SDA) to update information in stripe after subscription through app stores?

I installed the RevenueCat’s SDA on Stripe. Assuming Platform Server Notifications are set up and revenuecat is receiving confirmation of subscriptions almost immediately after they are made through iOS/gPlay, how long does it take revenuecat to update stripe and inform stripe the user is subscribed?

How should I handle existing purchases when adding RC to existing app ? my app currently has non-consumable products. The product IDs which offered the non consumable purchases will no longer be offered in the new version. As I am moving over to subscriptions with RC. However I want to be able to honour the purchases made by legacy users of my app. My questions are how to handle legacy product ids with RC so that receipts can be validated even though the products won’t be offered for sale?

I want to connect my webhook with play store app

I configured a webhook using Revenucat and linked it to my Laravel backend. When I tested it with Revenucat's "send test with webhook" option, the request was sent to the backend and returned a 200 status code. However, when I tried it with our application on the Play Store, the webhook didn't work, and the request wasn't sent to the backend. I'm developing the mobile app using Flutter. What could be causing this issue?

Not showing icon for features in payall

SOLVED IGNORE-----------Anyone had an issue with the leading icon for your product feature not showing in the paywall. Seems like it should be simply choosing the icon but it’s not displaying for me. Am I missing a next step to ‘enable’ the choice? Is there a variable embed call I need to encode?Specifically this is the ‘Bengal’ paywall template. Thanks.

Feature request: Include total_renewals in API

On the dashboard, there’s a filter for number of total_renewals and can be exported as CSV, but how can that be read from API or webhook?The webhook only sends the data of the action, which is fine. But maybe the get subscriber end point should also send this info back.For now the workaround seems to be to play around with the dates, which is definitely not the best.

How to configure subscription with multiple offers

Hi all,I’m launching a subscription service that consist of a premium subscription with the possibility to purchase it monthly, 3-monthly and annual.I’d like to offer also two intro promotion:single purchase of a month subscription for a very discounted price, if you have a promo code single purchase of a month, 3 month or year subscription for a discounted price + a free trial of 1 week, otherwiseI’d also like to offer the second option to the people who bought the first one after their month finished.These offer are not renewing, so at the end the base price will show up. Which is best way to filter subscribers in MixPanel?

Hello!We use MixPanel as our source of truth and we have created a cohort with certain filters to get all the active subscribers. We have followed the same filters as RevenueCat but still the numbers doesnt quite match:Active Subscriptions shows the number of unexpired, paid subscriptions at the end of each period charted.For the current period, the number indicated is the current active subscriptions. Subscriptions that have auto-renew disabled are still counted in Active Subscriptions. Refunded subscriptions are counted as active between their start date and their refund date.Active subscriptions is important as a measure of the number of individual, recurring relationships you are currently serving and is a proxy for the size of the business.
