All products return incorrect prices on iOS

Hello, Apple updated app store prices in Turkey on December 8.For example: The option of 8.99 Turkish Lira (Tier 1) increased to 16.99(Tier 1) Turkish Lira.I see updated prices in the App Store Connect Panel. RevenueCat Amplitude integration for existing project with different user IDs

Hi all,I have a mobile app in the App Store, that has its own RevenueCat Project and Amplitude Project.I am currenlty in the Starter Plan, but I am thinking about upgrading my account to the Pro Plan to be able to integrate the RevenueCat in-app subscription events into my Amplitude Project.I have the following problem: I use the default ReveneuCat anonymous user ids in my RevenueCat project and in my Ampltiude project I use the RevenueCat anonymous user ids but I remove the “$RCAnonymousID” prefix. Based on your docs (https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/amplitude) I must use the exact same ID for the amplitude project as well. This is the point where removing the prefix earlier bites back. As the event sent from RevenueCat will contain the prefixed id, but such an Id will not exist in my Amplitude project.I can fix the issue for all future users by setting the exact same RevenueCat anonymous user id for the Amplitude user. But what will happen to my old user? What will be the result of t

How to localise periodTitle

Hi all,On my paywall I have a subscribe button that lists the introductory trial period and am trying to make it dynamic so I can A/B test trial period lengths, I have achieved this with string interpolation but can not work out how to localise the periodTitle. Entitlements not properly working?

Best practice - handling multiple offerings in app

Hello! New RC user here. 👋Regarding the practice of offering a default “standard” price on a paywall during onboarding only, and then offering a discount price when the paywall is triggered elsewhere within the app: 1st question: Obviously I can use the “current” offering for the onboarding process. However, after that I will need to hard-code the “discount offering” title into the app, correct? 2nd question: If I want to remotely remove the “discount offering” at a later time (and show default only), is it safe to delete the offering in the RC dashboard and just code my app to show the “current” offering on default?I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions on this strategy. Thanks! Note: on iOS, using separate Subscription Groups for each product.

Subscription Active on playstore but subscription is not activated on the App.

Hey friends! I have recently released an app on open testing (beta). When my users purchase a subscription, the google play initiates the purchase, the payment gets processed and the money gets deducted. After successful payment, it gets redirected to the app and the subscription is not seen active on the app. When i try to pay again for the subscription the playstore says you already have an active subscription. The transaction is shown on the play console dashboard also. But there is no update in the revenue cat. The customers list remains zero on my revenue cart dashboard. What should I do now?

Native Android free trial not showing in payment sheet

I’ve configured Free Trial offer on both Monthly and Yearly Plans in Google Play Store.The free trial (7 days) is not showing payment sheet.I get the following object - {…,freeTrialPeriod:P1W,...} in Logcat.Could it be because the Revenuecat use a Billing lib. with version 4.1.0? The version of Revenuecat that I use now is 5.6.3

Multiple introductory offers

Hi, Not directly related to RC, do you know if it is possible to have multiple introductory offers per subscription? For example see below, I created 2 intro offers, both are free-trial but with different durations, some users I would like to give the free-week and for the others the free-3-days.Assume that both offers are valid on all countries (for testing I just enabled in 2).I am not sure how to do it using the RC SDK hence I am not sure it’s even possible, on Apple website I see they write that an Introductory Offer limit is “One offer per subscription, per territory”, so I guess it’s impossible but just wanted to be sure…Thx.

Searching a user by email on the web console does not work

Capacitor SDK: How to cancel subscriptions in-app using managementUrl

I’ve been looking all over the internet and reading through RevenueCat documentation and have continued to come up short with this.  I would appreciate guidance from anyone who has done this before, as it’s driving me crazy.I’m building an iOS app using Ionic/Capacitor and leveraging the brand new @revenuecat/purchases-capacitor SDK to manage receipt validation and the entire in-app-purchase life-cycle for Auto-Renewable subscriptions.  I’ve got everything working except for a way for the user to be taken to their App Subscriptions page (should they decide to cancel the subscription).When retrieving customer info (which I do, right after configuration ‘Purchases.configure’) I store the returned managementUrl (which ends up being “https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions” for me).My issue is:I know this link is correct; If I enter it into Safari on my phone, it guides me straight to the phone’s App Subscription management page When I navigate to this Url in my app using this.router.

For Users with Custom ID, how is the main app_user_id determined?

If a user is first identified with an anon ID, then logs in to my app and is signed in to revenuecat with a custom ID, does that custom ID always override as the app_user_id?The documentation explains how aliases are merged, but doesn’t say which ID is set as the main app_user_id (e.g. for webhook data). https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/user-ids#login-method-alias-behavior I’m using the Firebase RevenueCat extension, and I want to be sure that the app_user_id will always be my custom ID if one is set, because the extension syncs data to firestore via that id. If it uses the anon id, then the data will not be correctly synced. During testing it seems like this is the case, but I want to be sure. Will the custom ID always become the app_user_id?

React-native app: All purchases are sandbox even in reviewed and live app

When testing with release version of a react-native app, I continually get the sandbox subscription options when attempting to purchase.  For ios, I have no sandbox account setup, but this happens on multiple devices.For Android, I removed my sandbox account and this happens.  Everything shows up and the purchase completes OK, but is always in the sandbox.

periodType in IOS production doesn't detect free trial

Hello. I check this property using (customerInfo.entitlements.active.value.periodType == .intro) which works fine in sandbox, however in production it doesn’t detect the free trial period correctly.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.   Kareem.

Qt mobile app and revenuecat integration

Hello,I’m using Qt (version 6), with cmake builder to create an app on IOS and Android.The code is in C++ for major part of logic, QML for UI, Objective-C and Java for platform-specific logic. The previous version of my app, use Qt5 and QtPurchasing to manage in-app purchase and I have only one non-consumable product to unlock premium features.I have updated my app to Qt6, and make in-app purchase works with qt example with native code.But now, I want to manage auto-renewable subscriptions and I have difficulty with native code to manage it.So I look for RevenueCat but I don’t achieve to install the SDK in my project. I started with IOS integration.I have look the GitHub purchase-ios and try to make direct integration.I have successfully include Purchase.h in my Objective-C file but purchase-ios is not build so linker not found RCPurchase symbol. I have try Swift package but I encounter problems with a Xcode bug which block swift package dependency adding, and failed during loading of

Google Payment pending issues

Most all of my subscription after trial activation go into Payment pending and are stuck there while my subscriptions stay active, over time they auto cancel for billing error.I am having the same issue but despite of checking for acknowledgement on the next app startup, the payment is still pending.RevenueCat(s), can I somehow manually call the Google billing api to send the ack back to the Google billing system? Does RevenueCat offer a call that I can make via the API or SDK? I saw this but it is not answering my question

I can't restore my promotional entitlements after app reinstall

I have app in production that using anonymous user ids only, no login system. I installed my app to iPhone and get my App User Id from there to add entitlement to myself to test. After I added it to my user id and manual restore in the app - it works, entitlement appear.Then I uninstall my app and install it again to test that RevenueCat will create user id alias for the same device (or Apple id) and that I can restore that entitlement again, but no luck, new app user id didn’t aliases to the first one - it’s just new one without any entitlements.By the way it seems to work when I use TestFlight - after reinstall it aliases and restores my entitlement.Is that bug or something? I thought that it can be the issue with real purchases.

Invalid URL error when trying to set up webhook in the dashboard

Hi,I a trying to set up webhook in the dashboard, but I am getting ‘Invalid URL.’ error.My endpoint is « https://api.MYDOMAIN.studio ».It works when I try « https://MYDOMAIN.com ».« api. » subdomain and « .studio » domain seem to be the cause of the error.So my question is, is it normal behavior?Thanks.

How to detect lifetime access when restoring purchase?

When I tried to restore a lifetime access IAP on iOS with this code it did not detect a purchase. It seems to only work with subscriptions. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a different method to detect if a user has purchased a lifetime access IAP? Tried looking through docs but didn’t come across anything. Production iOS App White Screen - Test Flight and Dev Environment working

Our testflight apps and local dev app works just fine. The android version of the app works without any issues.  Apple approved the app but not the subscriptions yet and now our app bricks on production but works just fine on test flight. The app gets stuck at a white screen on load. What more information could I provide to help with troubleshooting?It appears the app bricks when Purchase.setup() fails, but I don’t know the exact reason for the error when I cannot get it to reproduce locally.

How do I determine if a product has a specific entitlement?

Background:  I am sharing an entitlement across the App Store, Play Store and Stripe. Split payment

Dear all, I would like to receive a payment by means of RevenueCat from an user and split that payment to me (the app itself) and to another specific user. The logic is akin to Uber, which receives a payment from a passenger and split that between Uber itself and a specific driver. I’ve done my research on RevenueCat docs but had not found anything about. Thanks in advance for clarifications!

Hey RevenueCat community,I’d like to ask for some guidance related to app monetization. Is it mandatory for a subscription-based app to provide free functionality? Or an app could be paid-only with a limited free trial after which an app’s functionality is not accessible?
