Understanding Trial Conversion Charts

I ran an A/B test on free trials vs non-free trials and I’m trying to understand the results.The thing I’m most confused about is the difference between the revenue chart and the trial conversion chart. How to fill out Google data safety form

Hi,I’m looking for an advice or a guidance how to fill the Data safety form in Google Play in regard to RevenueCat integration. Our app is not collecting any private user data, no account is necessary, no ads, no analytics implemented, but offers subscription to Premium version with unlimited functionality. We are processing Premium subscriptions using RevenueCat SDK. We are getting anonymous information about users who started trial/purchased/canceled subscription. All we know is that “someone” (we get anonymous user ID, e.g. $RCAnonymousID:23kkjjj344kjkjkjkjkj3jkjjjkjkj) in Canada using Android device opened the app, started a trial, purchased the Premium subscription, or canceled trial, opt out from renewal of Premium subscription. I assume the “data type” we collect is only “Financial info – Purchase history”. I assume this data is “collected” and users can “choose whether this data is collected”, since users can use the app without purchasing the Premium subscription. I assume the

Refund not showing in customer history but shows in customer's iTunes account

SKProduct retrieval errors in production app.

I was just about to hit submit on the question below, but I checked one more time and now it is working! It was giving the error within the last hour. Is this common? How can we debug what happened? Customer history shows testing price sometimes

Hello! I have uploaded a certificate.cer file for testing. My product costs $8.88 in this file, but in App Store, it costs ￥8 When I try to check customers’ histories, I found some of them show the testing price(app user id: $RCAnonymousID:42bf5828c06843308f74a5d360dd31ee) but others show the right price(app user id: $RCAnonymousID:ae7d6e45b3ff4686a86023d1c741a8bc) I have tried to delete the .cer file, but it doesn’t work.

Apple Promo codes - errors

I have RC working fine for both Android and iOS using test sandbox. I can purchase, restore and upgrade subscriptions.Now have sent code for production.Tested Android purchase in production - works fine. Apple has approved and am now trying to test in production, but first with Promo codes. App is in Manual release so not public yet.When I redeem code it downloads the app, and I get to the main page of the app which checks if user has an active entitlement or not, and it comes back false, so it displays the purchase options. If you select restore purchase..it does not recognize. I am checking for PeriodType.normal but not other types.So what I need to know is how RC handles Apple Promo codes (this is the 100 promo codes you can use for influencers)?is PeriodType normal, trial, unknown, or intro? I assume the isActive will be false is there any difference with Google Play promotion codes?I don't have debugging turned on as it is my production code, so I cannot see this.If I know what Pe

Webhook Doc > Questions about presented_offering_id

Regarding to the official doc ( https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/webhooks ), I have 2 questions would like to clarify.1/ The description of presented_offering_id mentioned:“Not available for apps using legacy entitlements.”However I could not find the definition of “legacy entitlement”. 2/ The presented_offering_id is listed under “Subscription Lifecycle Events Fields”. But I can create offering for NON_RENEWING_PURCHASE , and I can receive this field from the webhook as well. Our application have a logic based on presented_offering_id, so is it ok to use it for NON_RENEWING_PURCHASE ? Thank you.

Should subscriptions need to be linked to stores ids or to emails?

HiI have set the RC id linked to my users accounts’ unique identifiers and I thought that was ok. So the RC accounts are linked to my app accounts (a user, theoretically could have one account with subscription and another without it, imagine like a user having a professional Dropbox subscriptions and a personal one accessed via the same device)But after an Apple rejection when they asked me to make possible that users conserve their subscriptions even if they upgrade phone, then I’m questioning myself if this is the right approach. It seems that, as subscriptions can only be cancelled via the stores menu, then all the accounts accessed via the same device would act the same.Is this the “standard” way to make it work? Subscriptions linked to Stores accounts and not to my-app accounts?I don’t have a preference, 99.9% of the cases my users will have just one account. I just want to make my app compliant and to make it work in the standard way.

Unity Subscription Renew Log

Hello, I want to send a log to our logger system when a purchase success. I can get subscription started log from PurchaseProduct method’s callback. But I can’t find a way to send a log when subscription renewed. For example, Unity IAP system was sending a purchase log at the first opening after the player renewing their subscription. None Current offering are not available in production

Questions about webhooks (EXPIRATION, PRODUCT_CHANGE and RENEWAL)

Hello RevenueCat teamWe are using RevenueCat and we have some questions regarding webhooks.There is a new type EXPIRATION. The relevant subscription is terminated with this request. This means that all subscriptions that are no longer renewed will also be terminated by RevenueCat at the end of the subscription. As a result, we no longer have to worry about the termination on the backend side, regardless of the reported digital end date (“expiration_at_ms”). Is this assumption correct for iOS and Android? We have a relatively large number of requests PRODUCT_CHANGE that do not result in a subscription extension, not even in RevenueCat. Several such requests can come in succession without anything happening. What exactly is the purpose of the PRODUCT_CHANGE request? We are also facing the issue that PRODUCT_CHANGE and RENEWAL webhooks are not always sent in the same order to our backend system. Is this an issue on your side or is this possible to happen and we need to take care of it?Tha

Unwanted purchase transfer

Hello,we are trying to implement IAP in an iOS app and are running into weird behavior regarding transferred purchases.We are signed in on two different iOS devices with an apple sandbox account. On the two devices, we use different app user ids. Now, we first made a subscription purchase on one device and canceled it afterward again. Then, we made a second subscription purchase on the other device (different app user id, same apple sandbox account).Whenever the app is started, Purchases.shared.logIn is called with the app user id of that device. With that, each time in the revenue cat dashboard, the purchase of the second device is transferred to the app user id of the last device we started the app on.This does not seem to be the desired behavior here – at least not what we need. We would expect the purchase to always be associated with the app user id which was used to make the purchase. In this example, the two app user ids are not related to each other. Understanding basics. Best practise to upgrade an iOS subscription

I use the following code to upgrade/downgrade subscriptions. It works fine on Android but iOS is not playing ball. When I upgrade/downgrade a test subscription, nothing happens. offerings are null

Hello;I have implemented nine android apps without a problem but I had a problem on my tenth one. I believe I followed the same steps. I have read the article; but everything is correct according to it. I am testing on emulator. My closed test relase is approved about an hour ago. But I haven’t created a new app, I have updated an existing one. In my previous implemetations I even tested transactions when the closed track wasn’t approved. Automatic Renewal event after App-Reinstall has only anonymous app user id

Hi, really loving RevenueCat!I have the following situation:Android App I initialize Purchases SDK in the AndroidApplication class with an anonymous User ID User logs in → I log in the user into the purchases SDK → User has an anonymous ID + my domain user IDThe problem happens, when the following happens:The user purchases a subscription with automatic renewal The user uninstalls the app and then installs it again The next time the webhook calls my backend for the renewal, it will contain ONLY an previously unknown anonymous ID and no way for me to match it to the userThe main problem stems from this I believe:Current App User ID Provided App User ID already exists? Apple rejection

Hello;I have recently uploaded my app to Apple store but was rejected. The message is;“Specifically, on our iPad Air, the "Abonelik Satin Al" tab launched to an error message.”But this is my second app including inapp purchase and first one was approved without a problem. Also the rejected app was successful when I tested it on a real device with my sandbox account prior to the submission. They also sent these photos; What should I do?

Is it possible to move a product to another entitlement?

Hi,I’m trying to clean up unnecessary entitlements on our RevenueCat account because it wasn’t setup correctly when it was done initially and was wondering if it’s possible to move a product to another entitlement and delete the incorrect entitlement without affecting the end user?So the situation is the following:There’s 2 entitlements (A and B), both unlock the same functionalities in the app. Most of our different product price subscriptions were added to entitlement A. There are 2 product subscriptions added to entitlement B and it was supposed to be just a product price test, so it’s still just unlocking the same functionalities as entitlement A, but entitlement B was created as a mistake that we didn’t realize at the time. I want to move the 2 subscriptions in entitlement B to entitlement A and then delete entitlement B. 4 packages under one entitlement?

So we are facing a weird edge case in the app.Two months ago I created an entitlement "monthlysub" and assigned two products "monthlysub" from apple and "monthysub" from google play store (I know the naming convention is not ideal).So a user purchased the subscription "monthlysub" and cancelled it later on.Now we decided to create a new product for specific users with 30 days trial. We decided to name the new product "amplimontlysub" on both apple and google platforms.Next, I decided to add these products under the already exiting "monthlysub" entitlement. So now " monthlysub" entitlement has a total of four products.”Now when an old user who purchased two months ago but cancelled it decide to subscribe to "amplimontlysub" product and the transactions from the apple side go thru, the transaction is done I see a pop from apple "you are all set" then I get an error from revenuecat that "there is already another active subscriber using the same receipt".How do I handle this? we want to

Error with Product Identifiers - iOS

My app works with the subscription and RevenueCat. However I get an error with the following:2021-11-03 07:29:01.912 seed2021[68531:4997387] [Purchases] - WARN: 🍎‼️ Invalid Product Identifiers - ( 801, 901) Initially when I had configured RevenueCat, I had two additional products added for iOS for the inApp purchase, and the products added to RevenueCat. Over time I decided to remove these (801,901) from iOS and also from RevenueCat. However, I get this warning that appears RevnueCat still has these cached somewhere and I don’t know how to remove these to get rid of the error.
