iOS subscription Levels, up/downgrade clarification

On iOS store, I have created 3 products in the same group at 3 different levels. One product at each level. Reading below, I followed the process. In my sandbox environment, I initiated purchase at Level 2, which went through fine. I then initiated another purchase at Level 1 which went through fine BUT... I was expecting Level 2 to be isActive = false! after the Level 1 in-app purchase goes through. I am actually seeing both Level 1 product and Level 2 Product as active and will renew = true for both. Can someone help me understand why this is please? and if it is a normal behaviour?  I also read that at any one time, only one subscription can be active in any one group, but this is not what I am experiencing as stated above. Am I missing something?

How to use

I am using revenuecat unity latest sdk and unity version 2021.3.4f1 . Then i am able to make build .But when i am importing unity iap latest sdk then build is faild and showing error. Error image is attached with the file. My quistion is if i am using revenuecat unity sdk then i dont need unity iap plugin or if needed then how to make build ?You Installation document is very poor , there is no proper way that what to do or how to use it.

Family subscription does not update CustomerInfo

My iOS SwiftUI app has 2 subscription options: Individual and Family. The level of access is the same, the only difference is that Family enables family sharing.Because the package length cannot be the same for multiple packages, I worked around it by having the Individual subscription on a RC standard Annual length, and Family subscription on a custom length (for more on that, see my other post).Everything seemed to work fine, but recently (RC update?) Auto-Renewable Subscription + Consumable

This is for iOS.Is it possible to provide the paying user with a consumable In-App Purchase at the time of their initial subscription and subsequent renewals? For example, the user signs up for a 3-month subscription. At that moment we give him 10 apples. Three months later when his subscription renews, he gets 10 more apples. If there’s not an easy way with RevenueCat or iOS, then I’m sure I can think up a workaround using some Booleans and Timestamps - figured I check first.Thanks!

Question about importing iOS receipts from the server side

Currently, we plan to use observer mode to import iOS receipts from the server side into RevenueCat. However, we do not have currency and price information. I noticed in the receipt API documentation that it's possible to infer this information using store_country and ip_address. Where does this information come from? If I synchronize all iOS products with RevenueCat, will it obtain this information from the product details?

Help deciding on best Transferring Purchases setting for my scenario

Our application only allows user to use it after logging in and purchases as well. The business logic does want to say that a purchase is only tied to one user ID (otherwise users can log out and create new account and connected the purchases to that new account and the log out and go back to the first account and do it again etc). Does this mean that Keep with original App User ID is the only options we should use?If so, how does work to manually transfer or assign purchases to a user say when they delete their account and decide to maybe come back later and restore it into a new user id but still unique?Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Difference in Revenue Reporting

We are seeing a discrepancy between the Revenue numbers that the individual App Store/Google Play stores are reporting and what RC is reporting. The difference is small, only about 2-3%. Could someone give me some insight into why that might be?Is there a timing difference? Is one recognizing discounts and another isn't?

Is there documentation for new SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS behavior?

I was recently troubleshooting a customer-reported issue related to a SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event and I ran across this post stating that the SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event had been deprecated and has not been sent “for awhile now.”However, that reply was dated 25 February 2022, and the SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event I was troubleshooting was received much more recently, on 2 June 2022. So apparently SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS events *are* still being sent?I’m currently trying to update our handling of SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS events to account for a change to “original_app_user_id” in the same event -- something we had not accounted for (and the root cause of this customer reported issue.)But the aforementioned post, and the Webhooks documentation which now lists SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS as deprecated has me wondering if I should be handling an entirely different event?Is there any documentation that explains how the account-sharing functionality that was enabled by the SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event is being replaced, now that the event

Swings between A/B in experiments

Hi RevCat team and community  Would love some guidance around LTV calculations in the experiments feature. We’ve been doing price testing of two price points for 2+ months now, and every day we check the experiments feature it is different, wild swings between variant A and B. I would have thought now we have been through 2 monthly renewal cycles we would start to see a trend or more signal, but it is different recommendation each day. Is there a recommended time period to run an experiment? Or someone on the RevCat team that can help us analysis the results or setup our experiment differently? Thanks - love the idea behind the feature - just looking for best way to utilize it. Cheers

Webhook/event for a billing issue being resolved

Hi,We have noticed that there are no webhooks for when a user’s billing issue gets resolved in the app store/play store. This means that currently when we are looking at user events streams we are not actually able to tell if a user still has a subscription or not until we receive either a renewal event or an expiration event. I was wondering if there is something we are missing and if there is some way to know when a billing issue has been successfully resolved.Many thanks,Lydia

Best way to support a single auto-renewable subscription across multiple apps?

When people makes purchase we get the IP address as well separately, this allow us to do business analysis . What we found that in more than 40% case the location revenue cat showing is wrong. Can you please update your GEOIP database? Maxmind is the best provider in the world

User issue with Flutter Revenuecat providing free trial with promo code

I have promo codes that I created on google play for my user. With this code, the user can use 3 months free of charge. When the user logs in on another device, I can't get the information that the user is in the trial period. Therefore, the purchase screen appears again. how can i solve this. Anonymous User and App Store Account Deletion Rule

The App Store account deletion rule references “guest accounts” as also requiring deletion. Should I assume that “guest” would be analogous to RevenueCat’s “anonymous users” that are automatically generated in RevenueCat? And therefore that these anonymous accounts would be subject to the same deletion rule even though there is no personal user information linked to that id?If so, and I wanted to manually delete the account upon user request, what would be the best practice method of obtaining the anonymous user id so that they could be manually deleted? (I have no server for the app). Thank you!

Is it possible to move a product to another entitlement?

Hi,I’m trying to clean up unnecessary entitlements on our RevenueCat account because it wasn’t setup correctly when it was done initially and was wondering if it’s possible to move a product to another entitlement and delete the incorrect entitlement without affecting the end user?So the situation is the following:There’s 2 entitlements (A and B), both unlock the same functionalities in the app. Most of our different product price subscriptions were added to entitlement A. There are 2 product subscriptions added to entitlement B and it was supposed to be just a product price test, so it’s still just unlocking the same functionalities as entitlement A, but entitlement B was created as a mistake that we didn’t realize at the time.  I want to move the 2 subscriptions in entitlement B to entitlement A and then delete entitlement B. The app doesn’t explicitly check for entitlement A or B currently when it unlocks the functionalities in the app. Based on that info, would moving the product s

Double Tap to Pay

How to enable double tap to pay feature for users? We have integrated RevenueCat into our flutter app and configured the products successfully. We are still pre-launch so our testing is currently in Sandbox mode. Currently when testing the pay flow the user sees the paywall successfully, but there is no option to allow the user to double tap to pay. Instead there is a password field that the user must enter to authenticate their purchase. Is the double tap feature just not visible due to the Sandbox mode or is there something we’re missing? I’d rather use RevenueCat for managing user subscriptions than have another provider in front of RevenueCat that handles taking payments for users. Thanks in advance!

Noticing many BILLING_ERROR alerts when testing in sandbox

I am using cordova-plugin-purchases in my App. I’ve noticed many “Had their subscription of  vetcalculators_monthly_android:vetcalculators-monthly-android cancelled due to a billing error” comments in my sandbox testing recently. (Also in iOS).
