Hi,

We have received a GDPR request from a user for insight into their data, and as such we also need to provide them with the data sent to RevenueCat about them.

What tool in RevenueCat will allow me to export all data about a user?

Greetings

Hans

For your end users, you have a few tools at your disposal to gather their data:

  1. While not automated, the customer profile shows a good amount of the user's data, including their transactions.
  2. To get the full data of a user in an automated way, you can export a customer list.
  3. To get the full transaction data of a user in an automated way, you can use ETL exports.

Thank you Sharif.

As a feature request, we would greatly appreciate an endpoint that could export all transaction data for a user, in an organised way, without having to do the whole ETL export setup. Another processor we use is Mixpanel, and they have a portal for submitting a GDPR request for a user, which makes serving these requests a lot easier. We cannot be the only company that has this need either.

Is that currently on the roadmap?

Greetings

Hans

It is on our roadmap! No estimates as to when that will be released but we’re seriously considering adding more endpoints to our API for this exact use case.
