In-App Purchase promo code test Prior to Release

My iOS app has recently passed Apple's review process and is currently in the status of "Pending Developer Release." Prior to the official release, I wanted to test the in-app purchasing feature, so I issued a promo code shortly after the app was approved. Through this promo code, I downloaded my app, but unfortunately ran into an issue. When I attempted an in-app purchase, the screen remained in a "loading" state. This issue was not present in my TestFlight version, where the iOS payment sheet typically displayed promptly.I'm uncertain whether this could be an issue with my code, or if there is a certain waiting period required after approval before the in-app purchase functionality can be tested, even with the app downloaded via a promotion code.With these concerns, I'm feeling quite apprehensive about making my app public. I would greatly appreciate if someone could provide some insight or guidance on testing in-app purchases in the actual production environment before public releas

company address not showing on bills

Hello, our bills appear to be billed to “Revenue Cat”. Obviously our company name should be shown instead. How can we fix this? we could find no access to billing info.

Missing discount price in redemption sheet

Hello, i searched for a similiar bug, but did not encounter anyone else posting. Here’s what happened, my offer code redemption sheet was working as expected for months, but recently, it stopped showing the price. I don’t know if it helps, but my currency is configured in Brazilian reais ( R$ ). The offer code is recognized but the text says: ( translated )“1 year per offerPrice, then R$ 239,90/year. ”offerPrice is in bold because it was supposed to be the final price the user would pay

iOS Test without StoreKit Configuration File

Hey guys,I would like some help.I implemented RevCat in my project, I did all the necessary steps, I used the StoreKit Configuration File. In addition, I created another scheme and linked this StoreKit Configuration File.Tests worked perfectly.Modifying to the scheme that does not have the storekit configuration file, it does not find the plans when trying to contract.Now comes my question, I would like to test with an APPLE ID account, I am using an iPhone 7 physical device that does not show the Sandbox Tester anywhere, and I already have 3 accounts registered in the apple store connect.I wanted to understand what process to test the purchase without using the store kit configuration file, to simulate a monthly subscription.Thanks

event_timestamp_ms and purchased_at_ms very different

Hi there,We have an initial_purchase_event webhook where the event_timestamp is roughly 25th May but the purchased_at timestamp is roughly 2nd May. Migrate customers to RevenueCat with a existing free trial expiry

Hi all, I am currently migrating to RevenueCat. My current user subscription details are stored in DB. I have used rest to migrate those over using the uuid for the user. But when a user registers on my platform, they get a 1 month free trial. This trial is basically a exp date set in the DB for the user without any interaction with Stripe, Google or Apple. My question is, how can I set this user up on revenuecat with a custom trail exp date if they without interaction with the Stripe, Google or Apple. Essentially adding a customer with a trail expiry date. Is this possible and if so how can I achieve this? Thanks

Restore purchase event

Hi, Is there any way to either get restore purchase in the data RevenueCat is exporting to S3 or in the events that are sent to Amplitude?We are having a hard time merging users that do a restore purchase on a different device. It’s two different users on Amplitude which is not correct. For now, we don’t have user accounts on our app, so we don’t have a specific id for each user but an id based on the device.Thank you,

Is there a way to know the monthly start date of the user's subscription?

Is there a way to know the monthly start date of the user's subscription? I can use the latest purchase date for a one-month subscription product, but there is no way to know a three-month or one-year subscription product. Because the latest purchase date will continue to change.

RevenueCat for logged-in users only

We use RevenueCat in Observer-Mode and only want to use it for logged-in users.I read the post:It mentions:Only configure RevenueCat with an userId Don’t call logoutThere is one issue with this approach though - if the user logs out and then makes purchases RevenueCat might pick them up. Is there a way to destroy the RevenueCat instance in order to get in a state equal to configure not being called? Maybe calling `Purchases.sharedInstance.close()` when the user logs our?

How do you disable existing subscriptions?

Currently we have 6 active monthly subscriptions products on Apple and Google, however we want to reduce this down to 2. If we disable/delete the other 4 what will happen to the users that are on those subscription products? Will their subscriptions renew at the end of the month?

Is it possible to have more than 1 introductory offer per subscription?

We have a monthly subscription in Apple and Google which has 1 introductory offer (i.e. 1 week free trial). Is it possible to create a second introductory offer (e.g. 2 week free trial) on the same product? Ive noticed its possible the create the offer on app store connect but how does the app know which introductory offer to display to the user? We do not want to offer the 2 week free trial to everyone.

App binary payments error for App Store, subscriptions are not displayed.

I have a detail with the update of my application, initially I had uploaded a build with the subscriptions of Renew Cat and these were shown so that users could obtain them, but in this last update they are not being shown, in the documentation they indicate that the subscriptions Real or production are only visible when the build is released, but the binary is being rejected by the App Store because the payments are not visible.

Transaction not sandboxed

Hi!I finally got my app on a closed track into the Play Store. But when buying a subscription with it, it is not sandboxed but is a real payment from my credit card. The docs only say that it should “just work”. So, ehhhhh, does anyone have an idea of why my app is not in sandbox mode?

Issue with Google Play Store setup

Hi, We are having issue with the Google Play Store setup.We’re seeing the following error: Invalid Play Store credentials.We’ve checked all the posts already regarding the issue.But we’ve also noticed that the RevenueCat Service Account doesn’t seem to be correctly linked to Google Cloud. We’ve followed the documentation and already granted access to the service account on the Play Store but it is still not appearing in the permission section of the service account on Google Cloud. Do you know where this issue could come from? Thank you,Damien

Subscription Active on playstore but subscription is not activated on the App.

Hey friends! I have recently released an app on open testing (beta). When my users purchase a subscription, the google play initiates the purchase, the payment gets processed and the money gets deducted. After successful payment, it gets redirected to the app and the subscription is not seen active on the app. When i try to pay again for the subscription the playstore says you already have an active subscription. The transaction is shown on the play console dashboard also. But there is no update in the revenue cat. The customers list remains zero on my revenue cart dashboard. What should I do now?

How to manage Enterprise level accounts with Stripe and RevenueCat?

In the available subscriptions we have, we have enterprise level subscription options, where a Company can subscribe currently using Stripe and then all employees can access the Website or App and the price is define case by case. Questions: Do I need to include those enterprise level subscriptions in ReveneCat?  Will the revenue that comes from those stand alone subscription type count toward RevenueCat fee?  How to treat someone that is upgrading their subscription to an Enterprise level from an individual one (that is offer in Android, IOS, Stripe and synch using RevenueCat)? How to treat someone that is downgrading from an Enterprise level to an individual type of account?Thanks

Offerring Override

I see the option to override an offering on the customer page. I’m assuming this doesn’t change the offering the customer has with Apple/Google?  The user case I'm tried to cater for is the following: Existing subscriber completes a challenge in app. We reward them with a promotion on their subscription (e.g. 30 days free).From what I've read you can use iOS offer codes, but its messy. Wondering if anyway to setup a promo in RevCat then target specific user IDs by overriding their offering. Likely not but thought I would ask anyway. Thanks all

I’d like to get a better understanding of how refunds are treated with respect to the active subscription data. If someone refunds their subscription, I understand that they are excluded from the revenue data, but are they also excluded from the active/expired subscription charts?Thanks!

Will RevenueCat differentiate between IAP purchases and subscriptions made with other packages in combination with RevenueCat sdk

Hi there, i am currently working on an app that  have both consumable purchases and subscriptions, and i have implemented the subscriptions with revenue cat, but i have used another package for the consumables which has noting to do with revnuecat, so will revenue cat consider the consumable purchases made with my app to be revenue made with using revenue cat services, from the sandbox data that whats it looks like.

A Family Sharing transaction refunded

Hey,We’ve come across a weird Family Sharing transaction, and since similar cases are not described in the RC documentation, we decided to ask it here. So, we have a user who activated our premium features via Family Sharing, and we can see it through RC (the transaction has the flag "is_family_share": true). The same user has another transaction with the same transaction_id ("is_family_share": true), but it’s a refund. How is that possible if the user who purchased the app initially doesn’t have any refund transactions?Is this how disabling Family Sharing on the user’s end reflected? The problem is that Premium stopped working for the user who activated it via Family Sharing, and they claim that they didn’t changed anything on their end.
