Problem with multiple subscriptions plan to same user

Apple pay not working not working

User can purchase different offering with the same store account

I need help with the following scenario:User with userId x logs into my app, he is taken to the subscriptions page where he can choose from 3 offerings: monthly, 6 months and annual subscription. Let’s say he subscribes to the monthly. A webhook event is sent to my backend and now user with id x also shows with an active sub in my backend database. User with userid y logs into my app from the same store account as user x. Basically the same user with the same phone, same google/ios account but different application accounts. Now user y, does not have a sub so he is also taken to the subscription page and offered to subscribe to the same 3 offerings. If he chooses to purchase the same offering as the one that user x purchased, he will get an error saying that he cannot subscribe again to this offering. However, if he chooses a 6 months or annual offering, he is able to subscribe. A webhook event is sent to my backend and now user with id y also shows with an active subscription.The prob

Unwanted purchase transfer after buy new subscription

I have a problem using RevenueCat on IOS.When I login user A account and link it to RevenueCate. And Then Buy Package A. On the same phone, I logout account A then login account B and the buy Package B, but the list of entitlements returned entitlements A and B.In this case, Can we link Package A to account A and Package B to account B?

I’m testing my react native app. I ‘bought’ 1-month subscription, I guess there’s automatic renewal. Paywall localization

I have successfully setup paywall in my app. Pricing etc. everything is in place.I can see the localized versions of the paywall as a preview in paywall setup screen of revenuecat website. However in my own smartphone I can only experience english version.

package.storeProduct.localizedTitle always return the same text, not basing the locale or region.

I have an app with IAP in SwiftUI. When I showing purchase info to the user, I use ```swiftText(package.storeProduct.localizedTitle)Text(package.storeProduct.localizedDescription)Text(package.storeProduct.localizedPriceString)``` I noticed that “localizedPriceString” was changed base on the system region settings. However, “localizedTitle” and “localizedDescription” were fixed. I have localized for en-US, zh-Hans, and zh-Hant in my IAP settings. But I can only get Simplified Chinese localized strings in RevenueCat, it never showed the other two localized strings.

Following the documentation instructions located here on this RevenueCat “checking-if-a-user-is-subscribed” page i’ve been unable to async verify is a user is already subscribed. How to add 2 annual products to Annual package in an offering?

Maybe I didn’t fully understand the purpose of packages in offerings. I would like to have one offering, with 1 package, which contains 2 different products. Both should have annual renewal, but are linked to different entitlements, since one gives full access, and one only reduced (read-only). How to do this? When I try to add a second product, the first one is replaced.Do I have to create 2 offerings? I cannot have another package with “Annual” identifier...

Attributes show wtith delay in user's dashboard

Hello,I have found out that attributes (like ip, adjustId) etc are shown with a delay in the user’s dashboard.I didn’t manage to understand how long this delay is or it needs a new app session to be updated. Is this true only for the dashboard or it influences the events send to integrations as well? Thank you.

Issues with Purchases Rest API Internal Server Error

PROBLEMAfter I create a stripe.checkout.sessions.create(), I take the sessionID to make a REST API request to RevenueCat. But I keep getting this internal server error, after checking through all of it. I am sure my authentication key is correct, because I altered it and it showed an auth error. Firebase auth + revenue cat - customer flow

I’ve successfully, it seems, integrate revenue cat with my firebase auth backend. Now I’m wondering what is the recommended customer journey in terms of what they do first? Should I ensure that my users first authenticate with firebase, before allowing them to purchase an in-app subscription?What would happen if they first purchased the subscription and then authenticated on firebase after?Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Detailed debug logs using Unity SDK are not displayed.

We’re integrating RevenueCat to our Unity app, but we can’t seem to find the way to display the detailed logs I’ve seen around in the documentation and in this forum. Those described here. I’ve tried in both an Android and an iOS build.I am, of course, calling SetDebugLogsEnabled(true) before calling Configure(...), as prescribed in the docs. I can also correctly purchase sandbox subscriptions using the SDK, so the setup phase seems to be working fine. (We’re using RevenueCat SDK 4.0.0 and Unity 2021.3.8)

Making purchases with "Block Restores" restore behaviour

Hello! As the title suggests, I’m concerned about making purchases with “Block Restores” restore behaviour for our project. Our app requires an account to make a subscription purchase, and requires the user to be logged into that account to use any subscription entitled features. If a user under Account A makes a purchase of a subscription and cancels it some time in the future, then signs in to Account B - could it be possible for him to purchase a subscription again (under the same Apple ID), but now attached to Account B? I’ve only been able to try out this scenario in the Sandbox environment (which is full of its own quirks), so I’m really interested in how RevenueCat handles this case in production. Or will it still raise “there’s already another user using the same receipt” type of an error, regardless of any circumstances?

I understood that If I try with same sandbox id then it happens but with different sandbox ids don’t why it’s happen.

RC Promotional Entitlement

We regularly offer Promotional Entitlements to users, but they sometimes don’t work, particularly on iOS. We ask people to refresh their status through opening their pro page and killing and restarting their app. I can’t reproduce it on my phone. Are there some known bugs around Promotional Entitlements?

Android payments suddenly failing in production... (Error: There was a credentials issue. Check the underlying error for more details.)

My react native app has been in production for over a year. Without submitting a new release, payments are failing on Android. This should mean that the issue is either on your side (RevenueCat) or Google Play. Already lost 40% off my subscribers in a couple of days. I haven’t changed anything, however this suddenly came up in development:“[Error: There was a credentials issue. Check the underlying error for more details.]”Doesn’t say anything more detailed than this. On Android payments go through, however, then there is no active subscriptions to be found when requesting in from the SDK.No issues on iOS. Would be great to sort this out ASAP, loosing subscribers as we speak:/

how to export CSV transactions data from one account and import to new account?

We are migrating from application created in Account A to application created in Account B. So need to export data from application created in Account A and import it in Account B. no-login app: user can access subscription on multiple devices

Hello Revenue Cat Community. I have an internal test track of a Google Play app, with a RevenueCat managed subscription (anonymous, no app login). I was under the impression that if a user bought a subscription on Device A , and then downloaded the app on Device B (and logs into his Google Play account on that device) - then the subscription should only work on one of the devices. Currently I am testing with 2 physical devices - and it doesn’t seem to matter which device I bought the subscription on, and which device I use to access the app: the subscription works on both of them.Is my assumption wrong then? Subscriptions will work on any device - so long as the user is logged into the correct Google Play account? (and does this logic hold for Apple?) Thanks.
