What is minimum supporting android when developing with flutter

My app can not fetch offerings on Android 7.1, on higher versions works fine. Also, works fine on iOS.Sorry, I can’t write here detailed information about error.

Independent watchOS app, subscription purchase fails on device (Xcode and TestFlight)

How to remove entitlement when lifetime purchase is refunded?

Your documentation has the following paragraph:If you wanted to add a 'Lifetime Unlock' purchase option to your app, it is recommended to create a new non-consumable IAP, add the product to your offering, and add the product to your entitlement. This works well in many contexts, such as alongside other subscription packages, or just as a standalone package in your offering. We noticed that this scenario breaks when a user requests a refund for this IAP, as RevenueCat treats the Entitlement as unlocked forever.It would be great when there was an option in the dashboard to at least manually remove an Entitlement (maybe I have missed it?)

Currency defaults to USD before App Store login

Hey, I have setup a RevenueCat and before making any purchase attempt, the price shown is in USD. Once I press buy, I am prompted to login to my apple account and after the login, the correct currency is selected. In the app the currency updates after I close and reopen the app. Is there a possibility to change the default currency to EUR from USD? My app is not even available in any country that uses USD as legal tender so it is confusing to my users. I have so far only tested in Testflight on two devices.

How to link user to cancel subscription page on React Native?

I know its not possible to cancel a user’s subscription using the RevenueCat’s SDK however we want to build a user experience in the app where if a user presses on a ‘Cancel’ button we navigate the user to the settings app of their OS. For example in React Native you can use `Linking.openURL('app-settings://notification/')` to navigate the user to the notification's settings of the app. Does anyone know what the url is for the `manage subscription` setting page in iOS and Android? If you want to see a real-life example of this, check out the Strava App.

How do I link purchase made by the user without login in my backend?

The question is for an iOS app -  My setup is that I am using my backend to give access to “Pro” features through the API and I am using Revenue cat to process the payment. Sign up comes after the purchase is made and it is optional to the user. I want to understand how I should give access from the backend to users who are making a purchase but do not sign up? This approach should also work when the user comes back and restores purchase after uninstalling the app.

Can the same user (same app user id) receive entitlements on multiple devices?

Hi there! I have a question about RevenueCat logIn (and Blocking Transfers) as introduced in: Suppose this is how my iOS/Node app is designed to work:I have a user database and each user has a unique record and id. We require users to sign up with email and password before they’re shown the purchase flow. We use their unique database record id as the RevenueCat appUserID when purchasing a package. Our RevenueCat app is set up to Block Transfers.If I understand this correctly, this means that as long as a user logs in with the right appUserID, they should have the appropriate entitlement everywhere. That includes different devices on iOS, Android, and web that log in with the right appUserID and use the RevenueCat offerings API. Additionally, if the an entitled user signs out, and someone else logs in from the same device (different appUserID), RevenueCat will pull in THEIR entitlement, which may or may not exist, and would trigger their own Purchase flow if needed. Release pre-built .xcframework: why dSYMs are separated?

Hello,We’re using Carthage to consume Purchase.xcframework. It’s possible to download the pre-built xcframework within the release as described here. However, your prebuilt xcframework doesn’t contain dSYMs inside. I downloaded xcframework.zip from GitHub and discovered all the dSYMs outside .xcframework itself, in the separate folder. The RevenueCat official iOS SDK Installation guide suggests to run the carthage update with `--no-use-binaries` option which triggers a local build of xcframework. BTW this also might cause a problem such in my case where I don’t have swiftlint installed and getting this error on build:```Adding homebrew bin folder to PATH (/usr/local/bin)error: SwiftLint not installed in /usr/local/bin, download from https://github.com/realm/SwiftLintCommand PhaseScriptExecution emitted errors but did not return a nonzero exit code to indicate failure``` Question:Why not to contain dSYMs inside release pre-built `.xcframework`? Debugging hanging purchase request & PurchaseErrorCode.operationAlreadyInProgress

We have the combined issues of 1) purchase requests hanging and 2) PurchaseErrorCode.operationAlreadyInProgress for our flutter app. Haven’t been able to reproduce on our side but have several users recently report this.Example of a recent Android report: https://finch.hellonext.co/b/Bugs/p/can-t-sign-up-for-trial-with-monthly-billing. We always display the error code that is returned (like in the bug report screenshot) but it sounds like some users can have requestToPurchaseProduct effectively hang without an error code returned. Is requestToPurchaseProduct always supposed to throw an error to timeout, or are we expected to handle timing out purchase requests ourselves?After the hanging, users who close the app and retry again end up getting stuck with PurchaseErrorCode.operationAlreadyInProgress. The error documentation said to wait but the user has been stuck with PurchaseErrorCode.operationAlreadyInProgress for a while, so is there any recommended ways to debug/handle this state?

How to use RevenueCat for consumables products?

Hello,I intend to have both subscription and consumable products in my app. If you want an example of the kind of setup I want, check Slopes: the app offers subscription (monthly/yearly) + consumables (passes to unlock one day or one week). In Slopes, the user can redeem the pass whenever he wants, but it’s not what I plan: I plan to use the consumable as soon it’s purchased. So if a user purchase a one week pass consumable, I want to unlock the content from the purchase date.How would you setup the same thing using RevenueCat? Do I have to setup my own system to record the purchase date (= activation date in my case) then unlock the content based on this date? Or is it possible to access consumables purchase history in RevenueCat so I can check when a consumable had been purchased and unlock the content afterwards?Thanks,Axel

PurchaseInvalidError - Android

Hello,I am testing in app subscriptions in my app. Actually it’s been working really fine till today. I cancel and restart muy subscription many times to test the features. Today when i try to subscribe to app i have this message below;PurchasesError(code=PurchaseInvalidError, underlyingErrorMessage=Error updating purchases. DebugMessage: Expired Product details. Please fetch product details again and use it to retry the call.. ErrorCode: DEVELOPER_ERROR., message='One or more of the arguments provided are invalid.') I am fetching product informations correctly (like price ...etc). What should i do?

"View sandbox data" toggle is disabled

I just made my first iOS sandbox purchase using the RevenueCat Flutter SDK. Then I went to my dashboard and could not find the fake purchase. I looked at the docs and it claims I need to toggle my view sandbox data ON. The issue is that this toggle is disabled. When I hover I get the “not-allowed” cursor. Why would this toggle ever be disabled?

How do I validate purchases on the backend?

So I am able to use RC to complete purchases of a product.Here’s what happens once a user has purchased a product. → I grab their Revenue Cat ID, and extract their latest transactionIdentifier→ An API request is made with this info to our backend server to process their order. Here is a code snippet of how I am using the React-Native SDK to get their transaction Id. On the backend I want to verify their Revenue Cat ID has indeed made the purchase based on the provided transactionIdentifier. What’s the best way to do this?

Package Resolution Failed

Trying to add the RevenueCat SDK as a Swift Package on Xcode 12.3 for iOS on Catalina after specifying dependency rule  as suggested the error “because purchases-ios  >= 4.0.0-beta.9 contains incompatible tools version and root depends on purchases-ios 4.0.0..<5.0.0, version solving failed” appears . How can work around this?

Credentials issue on android after 5 days

Hello, I’m getting credentials issue with google play store in my flutter app. I created them about 5 days ago so more than 36h has passed. How do I add Maestro payment options to in-app purchases?

Hey boys and girls!  I’m quite new to app development and just launched my first app on the app stores with the help of Revenuecat for offering in-app purchases.  I’m located in the Netherlands and noticed that Maestro cards (debit cards) are not available for the in-app purchase, does anyone know why so and how I’m able to fix it? Thanks for taking the time to read this! [React native IAP implementation]Hello!  I’m implementing a redeem code button that will redeem discounted annual products in my app. The way i implemented to check it was add a purchasesListener when he clicks the redeem code button, the problem is I want to remove the listener when he  goes from page A ( page with redeem code button ) to another page B ( meaning he did not reclaim the coupon ), or when he enters another specific page C in our app, that is se screen after the paywall if he did not claim any offer codesI don’t know if I agree with the interface of this purchases listener. Having to pass a function reference when i add and when i remove means i have to keep track of this function reference in some sort of global store or do some workarounds only to keep the exact reference i used to remove…Couldn’t the sdk accept a function and keep inside the sdk the reference to the function, making it immutable across app’s lifecycle?I thought it this way→ add purchasesListener ( cal

🤖‼️ There was a problem with the Play Store after subscription

We are testing the android side subscription and it is not working. We have managed to complete the iOS side configuration successfully, Subscribed from iOS and fetched from android as well. But,But, when we try to subscribe from android, subscription get's completed as well in the plays tore account. But It's going to the on error method of the revenuecat SDKs. Best practices to switch user from subscription to lifetime "subscription" which is consumable.

Hey,What is the best practice to switch users from existing subscription to life time product on iOS and Android, like lifetime “subscription” which is actually not a subscription but consumable product.As I understand you cannot cancel subscription on iOS , so the only thing is to show link to the user and notify that he should cancel current subscription manually? Little bit not user friendly approach.And for Android seems like you can revoke + refund via api, but only revoke is needed actually not a refund. Or same as iOS to show link to user for cancellation, which is also not a very good option.Thanks

This test purchase was cancelled because it was not acknowledged.
