Available Metrics in v2 API endpoint

Hello,I’m currently working on the ability to retrieve the data from RevenueCat via the API v2. Is there a way to have historical data, especially for the count of active subs and trials? Moreover, lots of different information are missing such as the renewal rate or the refund rate. Can we have access to it via the API? Finally, is there a way to split the data on the country or at least create filters to retrieve specific data?

Slack webhook returns response 400

Good afternoon.I have set up the Slack Webhook as per the instructions but whenever I send a test webhook or also with the test purchases in the sandbox, I always get a response 400.The curl hello world from the Slack page works perfectly and I can see the message in my Slack channel.Perhaps something has changed in the way Slack expects the messages to be formatted? In the sent json I don’t see the “text” field that I see in the Slack test webhook.Thanks a lot.

Incorrect Firebase revenue with RC integration

Hello,we have noticed that starting some months ago that our reported revenue in Firebase Analytics is out of whack in such a way that Firebase shows around 3x revenue than real one for iOS app. We have enabled the Firebase integration (https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/firebase-integration) via the appInstanceID to get the revenue data in Firebase. According to Firebase docs, the SDK captures purchase events automatically for StoreKit 1 and there is no way to disable it (https://firebase.google.com/docs/analytics/measure-in-app-purchases, https://github.com/firebase/firebase-ios-sdk/issues/2435). Could this be related to RevenueCat reverting back to StoreKit 1 some time ago from StoreKit 2? Although even if the purchases were logged once by RC and once automatically by Firebase that still wouldn't add up to 3x the revenue. Is anyone else using this setup and run into similar issues? Disabling the RC Firebase integration seems sort of like a solution but then when new version of RC start

AppsFlyer: Free Trial Events

Do both `rc_trial_converted_event` and `rc_initial_purchase_event` fire at the same time when a user completes their free trial and pays for the first time?The definitions are:Initial purchase: A new subscription has been purchased.Trial converted: When an auto-renewing subscription product converts from a free trial to normal paid period.In another post you replied:Are both rc_trial_started_event and rc_initial_purchase_event sent, when Trial is started? Or is it only the trial one?You’re probably sensing a theme here, but just the rc_trial_started_event will fire here. Not clear from your Flow charts as rc_trial_converted_event is not there, you’re showing initial_purchase and renewal.

How to transfer a stripe purchase

Our app subscriptions are currently done via appstore and playstore purchases and we’re trying to add stripe into the mix. But we’re not sure how to handle the case where an old user signs back after a new subscription as anonymous. In case of appstore and playstore purchases, the transfer purchase call does the job but not so in stripe purchases. How is this to be handled? Just post a second receipt against the signed in user’s app user id? It’ll result in the stripe subscription attached to both revenuecat customers. I’m not sure about any unintended side effects of this flow. Is this the way to go here? Or am I missing something

Mixpanel: Parallel Trial and regular cancellation/renewal events?

hello!I am wondering if both events are sent in parallel to Mixpanel in following use cases:User cancels the trial period: rc_trial_cancelled_event and rc_cancellation_event both, or just the trial one? User keeps the subscription after the trial period: rc_trial_converted_event and rc_renewal_event both, or just the trial one?I am asking because of the Trial flow descriptions in the webhook section of the documentation, where trial events are not present: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/event-flows#initial-purchase-flowI am wondering how this translates into the events sent towards the Mixpanel.

Webhook test event doesn't have attributes

Hello, I am trying to set up a webhook integration with Zapier/Integromat that will send emails to unsubscribed users. These tools work the way you start setting up a webhook and then listen for data from RC. Once it receives call from RC it automaticaly builds a scheme to work with. However, RC test event doesn’t contain email and name attributes. Making it impossible for tools to build a scheme and work with emails and names. Hope this makes sense. Thanks,Jakub

Logging Braze Purchase Events vs Custom Events

Hello!  We have an integration from RevenueCat to Braze to capture Subscription Events.  These events are flowing into Braze as Custom Events, however they should be considered Braze Purchase Events.  Does anyone have any guidance on how to make this happen? We are using the default event names in the the Braze integration setup as shown here in RevenueCat.According to both the RevenueCat and Braze Documentation, if the event has currency/revenue it should be recorded as a purchase event, specifically initial_purchase_event and renewal_event. https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/braze https://www.braze.com/docs/partners/data_and_infrastructure_agility/payments/revenuecat/#step-1-configure-braze-settings-in-revenuecatThe logging of Purchase Events (vs just Custom Events) is important because it allows us to leverage certain Braze features, only available for purchase events as shown here.Here is an example of initial_purchase_event being logged in Braze as Custom Events vs Purchase Events e

Incorrect AppsFlyer ID in AppsFlyer Integration

We have an AppsFlyer Integration that occasionally uses the customer_user_id as the appsflyer_id. Can not complete Play Store configuration

Hi RevenueCat, I have completed the instructions to the “T” on this page:https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/creating-play-service-credentials and have made a json key correctly. No matter what I do, I am still receiving an error such as the one in the image below:  My service credentials start out like this: :”my-app-service-credentials@pc-api- “The “pc” in there is no problem, right? What should I do now to fix the problem since the credentails are not working and seem like they have never even been created? **This error is happening on revenueCat. I have not done anything with the android app.**  Thank you!

Which Stripe events do I listen to in order to post receipts

I followed this guide to send events directly from Stripe to RevenueCat.  I also saw this link for sending our tokens to RevenueCat which must be done before the above events (I think). I send the token during “checkout.session.completed” but it doesn’t look like that event is happening. Should we be posting receipts from “invoice.payment_succeeded” ? Might be good to put something about this in your docs.

What event is tracked when the user repurchase after they stop the subscription during free trial?

Hello. We are sending events to Amplitude and Braze.Corresponding to the document, I can know that when the user repurchases the auto-renewing subscription product after a lapse in their subscription, it sends “renewal”.But, I am not sure this is also applied for the the free trial cancel case.If the user stop subscription during the free trial, and then they repurchase again, in this case, it is also tracked as “renewal”?

Is it possible to send events to more than one Amplitude project? I have different Amplitude projects for iOS and Android, so I would like to send all RevenueCat events to both projects. However, I only see the option to add one API key on the RevenueCat API integration page.

Reconciling Amplitude Data

I’ve been using the Amplitude integration to help understand my customers better, but I can’t make the data there reconcile with RC. Because I’m focussing on converting users, for the purposes of this question I’m only interested in new subscribers and one time purchases.Here’s the revenue chart in RC for last week:https://cln.sh/MN7GLCIf I extract what I think is the same data from Amplitude here’s what I get:https://cln.sh/4fb2dLThe timezone on my amplitude project is set to UTC, which I understand is the same as RC (I’m in the UK anyway so UTC is good for me :)  Is there something else I missed? The Amplitude numbers are always lower by varying amounts, this makes it hard for me to be confident doing experiments, especially with pricing.

Linking apple dsubscribers to external tools

Hey,  We’re using RevenueCat in conjunction with a few other analytics/reporting tools. I’m trying to link iOS subscribers between RC and some of those other tools.What I’m trying to do is link an RC subscriber to their Apple SubscriberId (which we get when we download the subscriber report from AppStoreConnect).All I see in the RC webhook is a “transaction_id” but I’m not able to link that. Has anyone had success doing this type of link in the past?

Why do we have data discrepancies, even though Mixpanel uses RevenueCat events?

We use Mixpanel as our Analytics tool, which has RevenueCat events fired for trial start and trial convert. However, our number of trial starts and trial converts, as well as the revenue in the latter event do not add up to match the numbers in the RevenueCat dashboard.e.g.:May: Trial starts in Mixpanel = 1,573May: Trial starts in RevCat = 1,235^ this is a 21% difference... June: Trial converts in Mixpanel = 574June: Trial converts in RevCat = 521^ this is a 9% difference… The event is from the same source, as we use the Mixpanel in-app purchases integration from RevenueCat https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/mixpanel I’ve used the data discrepancy article from RevenueCat, which doesn’t include the answer:  Any ideas why these are different? This is crucial for our OKRs and revenue tracking

Per seat pricing with Stripe

We’d like to implement per-seat Stripe subscriptions with RevenueCat. I saw the documentation on the topic and I have a few questions. Our goal is to create a per-seat billing system similar to what you would find on Figma or Loom. The system would imply that:users are able to create teams and add members to the team using emails when adding a new seat/user in the team, the admin’s subscription will be billed accordingly (price x number of seats/users) members of the team would appear as paid subscribers in the Stripe SDK Revenue is counted only onceA few questions:What would be the best setup to integrate this with RevenueCat? I saw the Stripe Integration page, but it seems to imply a user-to-subscription link. Would a workaround be to link multiple users to a single Stripe subscription?

Revenuecat Facebook Ads Attribution Integration without IDFA

I would like to apply Facebook Ads Integration to track subscriptions generated from Facebook Ad campaigns. My question is even if the ad tracking has been disabled by the user meaning revenuecat cannot collect idfa as identifier, yet is the attribution cycle completed accurately? I mean does the attribution integration without idfa let me see how much revenue the campaign generates precisely on facebook reports? Is facebook anonymous id enough for tracking campaign’s revenue?Thanks.

We want to append following attribution details to our users in RevenueCat:$mediaSource, $campaign, $adGroup, $ad, $keyword, $creative. We have found out how to map data from AppsFlyer for $mediaSource, $campaign, $ad from the following link:https://support.appsflyer.com/hc/en-us/articles/208387843-Raw-data-field-dictionary-V5-#field-availability-by-reporting-tool Even after contacting their support we’re not sure what data should we use for $adGroup, $keyword, $creative. Report subscription state as User Attribute to mParticle

We’ve recently started to use mParticle and like the seamless integration of events from RevenueCat to mParticle. There is however something missing. We want to know per user what there current subscription status is (unsubscribed, trial, subscribed). Right now we would need to implement a service that would ingest this data. Is there another way to get this directly into mParticle? Are there any plans to add this functionality to the integration?Thanks, Wolfgang
