Is there an "admin" API for resources such as offerings/packages/products/entitlements?

We would like to either be able to create/update/delete offerings/packages/products/entitlements programmatically, or at least get a web hook notification in our backend when these are created/updated/destroyed.Is there anything like that implemented or in the works? Is there any way we can get this data by polling if not?We’re trying to implement a series of things on top of RC for handling promotions and our backends need to be aware of what the existing offerings/packages/products are. Right now the best solution we have is to manually create things in both the backend and RevenueCat, but that’s very error-prone.

Sometimes events are not sent to Adjust

Hello,I seems that sometimes RC doesn’t seem to send the data for events to Adjust, even if the AdjustId is set.We discovered some discrepancies between our analytics and some of our users don’t have the AdjustId set (might be on our side), but then we have this case where it is set and still RC didn’t send it.Could somebody from the team help and  have a deeper look at it? Thank you.

Purchase Transfer causing Revenuecat to report an anonymous user and loses firebase application id for the user

Hello everyone We are facing one bug with Revenuecat and firebase integration when reporting subscribed users. our system uses firebase and firebase assigned ids to the users, and we use the same ids to report a subscription, and revenuecat assigns it as an alias in the revenuecat dashboard. The bug show when a user transfers his entitlement to another account, like this example:here it’s transferring it to anonymous userin the attributes it’s showing fine the firebase app id then we move to the new account created after transferring the entitlements:it’s not showing firebase app instance id, and reporting the user as anonymous revenuecat user this is for the first time.the second time, for another user something similar happened and here what happened: the user transferred the entitlements to another user, so main account it was completely fine:the attributes for the main user had firebase app instance id there.in the transfer event it was as followsso it created an anonymous id for t

Can RevenueCat handle Stripe subscription upgrades/downgrades

I have a vanilla monthly/annual subscription plan on my app. In Stripe it’s 2 products, each with one price.I’m configuring the Stripe customer portal, where I will send customers to cancel their plans. Stripe allows me to let them “Switch plans”.Is this supported in RC or should I only let users cancel and start a new subscription?Thanks!

How do I change eventTime parameter that sent from RevenueCat to AppsFlyer change to UTC?

Has anyone had any success integrating RevenueCat with a Squarespace API?

Has anyone had any success integrating RevenueCat with a Squarespace API? I know square space can have a stripe checkout, then stripe its self interfaces with revenuecat.However squarespace can have subscription products with stripe processing the payments only, not keeping track of the subscription status etc. I want to use this in my site that has a members section with the subscription also unlocking features on a iOS app. Squarespace does have its own REST API and webhooks that could be configured to do this, but I’ve not seen anyone try it.

Hi,Im trying to keep my database in sync with each users current state.WebhooksFirst I tried to use web hooks data but I ran into multiple issues:The basic event from the documentation (above all other examples like initial purchase) has way more fields like a real promo code event. Im not sure what user ids to compare. original_app_user_id, app_user_id especially with use cases like “restore subscription”. The documentation calls for comparing original_app_user_id but isn't it wrong in cases of restore and to prevent to be both users entitled here? “expiration_at_ms” is not under entitlement_ids like in the REST API, is this not the entitlement expiration date? Thats because another event for the same app_user_id returns a not migrated state but just for example for the new purchase and I have to store all events right?I think there should be a way simpler web hook.RevenueCat detect a new event but instead of sending it, it checks the user state, do all the work and send the current s

Why is RevenueCat not sending any attributes to Intercom?

Hi team,We’ve spent the past few days setting up Intercom, only to connect with RevenueCat and find that no customer attributes (particularly email address) is being sent to Intercom.This issue is definitely on RevenuCat’s end, as the email attribute is listed on each revenuecat customer page, it is just not being included in the outgoing request.Can anyone shed some light on what is happening here?

Send Customer Information to Firebase - Security Rules

Hi, I was looking at sending customer information to firebase as described here. https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/firebase-integration There are example security rules here rules_version = '2';service cloud.firestore { match /databases/{database}/documents { match /${param:REVENUECAT_CUSTOMERS_COLLECTION}/{uid} { allow read: if request.auth.uid == uid; } match /${param:REVENUECAT_EVENTS_COLLECTION}/{id} { allow read: if request.auth.uid == resource.app_user_id } }} Are these security rules meant to be copy/pasted directly into firebase? They flag up some syntax errors when I try to and I’m not sure how they are supposed to be changed. I think the “${param:REVENUECAT_EVENTS_COLLECTION}” is the problematic part.

Integrate RevenueCat with Firebase causes wrong Ecommerce Revenue

Like the title said, we suffer a wrong data in eCommerce Revenue (expected 0 but we receive 7.5K in the below image), which then causes wrong total revenue also. The actually revenue should be 31K-7.5K. All of previous month (which we haven’t integrated RevenueCat with Firebase yet), this number should be 0 (I’ve checked again)It looks like happen on iOS only because we has this value only on iOS, is this SDK bug?

Firebase Integration - please send rc_trail_converted event as well

Currently the firebase integration sends both trial conversions and renewals as the same event to firebase (purchase), and this is a problem when it comes to running google ads.  In google ads, we wish to see how many trials converted from a campaign, but since this isn’t a separate event, renewals and trial conversions are combined and its not possible to see the number of new paying subscribers that we obtained by a google ads campaign.  Can RevenueCat please add the ability to also send the the trial converted event as rc_trial_converted ? This would be a great help.  Below is the current Firebase event mapping. Currently trial conversions are mapped to ‘purchase’.

Using RC sub status for chat access

Hi folks,I’m interested in setting up a subscribers-only Circle or Discord community. Only users that have an active subscription (according to RevenueCat) will get access, and that access gets revoked if their subscription expires.Is anyone doing this? How? I don’t see any obvious integrations on RevenueCat’s side. Is this in RC’s roadmap? (By the way, RC’s “public” roadmap seems to be private, Trello says I need to request access??). Are tools like Circle or Discord set up to handle this if they’re sent RC’s web hooks or something?Cheers, Toby

Renewals not not showing active in dashboard checkbox

Hello , I renectly started using revenuecat and its working perfectly fine that is what we saw in the trials . But recently we got one subscription and the checkbox under renewal is not active . I thought it might get active after the subscription renewed . But then the subscription did not get renewed . Now i do not know whether user cancelled it or there was some setup issues . Can anyone tell me whether the checkbox becomes active when the user subscribes stating that it will be renewed monthly . Or do i need to check anything specific when doing revenuecat setup that i am doing wrong . Happens for both iOS and Android

We use Stripe Connect to manage our customers who are business with their own customers. Each of our customers has their own products.Is it possible to create a one-to-one mapping between a RevenueCat project and a connected account in Stripe (instead of our main Stripe account)? If not, is there any workaround?

Subscription not showing up in AppsFlyer

Hi, I recently conducted a test where I installed via an AppsFlyer Onelink and bought a subscription. In AF, the install is attributed correctly, but the subscription event never showed up (nor the associated revenue). The subscription event and revenue is sent via the RevenueCat integration with AF. Here’s a screenshot of the payload coming from RevenueCat:   Why didn't the revenue show up in AppsFlyer?  A few final notes: The subscription was a test subscription (conducted via Apple's Sandbox).  Notice the event name in RevenueCat is "renewal" (not "subscribe"). That's simply because I've used my Apple ID to purchase test subscriptions before.  The way we have the AppsFlyer SDK set up, we give it our own userIds to use. We give the same userId to RevenueCat (and all our tools). You'll see this userId in the RevenueCat payload as "customer_user_id".  Notice that the RevenueCat payload doesn't contain the IDFA. Perhaps this is the reason the subscription event isn't attributed correctl

Has Anyone been successful integrating RevenueCat and Squarespace? I know squarespace is setup to use webHooks, however RevenueCat does not have an endpoint setup to receive Squarepace notifications. Has anyone had success integrating these? I’m not a web dev so I’m trying to better understand the workflow/integrations.

Subscription expiration WebHook

Hello!I’m implementing RevenueCat in my application in order to handle user’s subscriptions. I have my own database and I want to set both “premiumLevel” and “expirationDate” (so I can use the benefits of Firestore sockets). I have a few questions:When a INITIAL_PURCHASE event is triggered, I am fetching the newest data in the subscribers endpoint and then getting the user’s id of my own database via aliases. Is that approach correct? When a EXPIRATION event is triggered, I am just updating my own database and setting premiumLevel to false and expirationDate to null (no request to subscribers), is that okay? Do I need to look up for other event types or the INITIAL_PURCHASE and EXPIRATION are enough to keep my database updated?

Do refunds get sent to AppsFlyer?

Hi,  We’re setting up the RevenueCat > AppsFlyer integration. This allows RevenueCat to send subscription-related events to AppsFlyer, so we can tell which advertising campaigns are performing the best. Most importantly, RC will send proceeds data to AF, so we can tell how much money is coming from each campaign.  Here’s my question: What happens if a user gets refunded on each of our platforms (Apple, Google, Stripe). Does RC pick up on the refund? Does RC send the refund to AF, so AF’s proceeds reporting is accurate?  Thanks,  Toby

Firebase: what is the lifecycle of a custom claim?

I’m tinkering around with RevenueCat for an app my company is releasing Q4 this year. We use Firebase as a simple backend.Context:One of our features is the submission of images for server-side processing. The submission of a job is done via a Firebase cloud function, and the abilities of the user to submit these jobs can be different depending on the user’s current subscription/entitlements. As such, it is important that the custom claims on the Firebase auth token are up-to-date when the backend function is called. Otherwise, the user might make a purchase to attain some feature, and not be able to access it immediately because the Function will reject their request. Question:When are the custom claims set, and can I expect them to be available immediately in my Firebase functions after a purchase?More specifically, if I await any calls into RevenueCat when a purchase is made, will all Firebase functions called from that point onwards have the custom claim set in the request? RevenueCat doesn't know about VAT in some countries

Platform: AndroidStore: Google PlayProduct Type: Monthly SubscriptionRevenueCat Purchases Version: com.revenuecat.purchases:purchases:5.1.0 A customer of our app from Moldova (Republic of Moldova) reported today that the price displayed in the app (9.49 USD) was not the price that he ended up paying (11.39 USD).  Looking at the email receipt he sent us from Google, the extra 1.90 USD is labeled as Tax. I went in the Google Play Console where we can set our price for each country, and the price there is 9.49 USD → no sign of any VAT. I did a Google Search and the default VAT for Moldova is 20%, which matches the extra Tax from the transaction.I then checked RevenueCat, including the webhook for that specific transaction, and there is no trace of tax. The price is 9.49 and also, in the webhook, the `tax_percentage` field is 0. Then I found out that this is the case for all transactions made from that country, RevenueCat doesn’t know about the tax there. The biggest problem now is that fo

Cancellation Webhook too ealry?

So I configured Webhooks and used the recommended approach of calling the RevenueCat API to handle logic.This works for all events tested so far. Except for the Cancellation event (I canceled Platinum):As shown in the image. The function is called at 11:38:35 with the cancellation event and after calling the RevenueCat API to check the expiration date, the platinum membership is not yet expired and thus my logic to remove the enitlement is not triggering as I am checking if the expiration date is in the past.Did I oversee something here?
