SUBSCRIPTION_EXTENDED: Expiration date in REST API and Webhook event

Hi there!We encountered a peculiar situation with the SUBSCRIPTION_EXTENDED event (PlayStore). Here's the user flow:2024/03/15: The user subscribes (INITIAL_PURCHASE) with an expiration date of 2024/03/22. 2024/03/22: The subscription is extended (SUBSCRIPTION_EXTENDED) to a new expiration date of 2024/03/23. 2024/03/23: A grace period begins due to a BILLING_ISSUE/CANCELLATION, with a new expiration date set for 2024/04/06. 2024/03/25: The subscription expires (EXPIRATION), with an expiration date of 2024/03/22.However, the /subscribers/${userId} REST API method began returning an expiration date of 2024/04/06 after the third step and didn't update beyond that. Given these events, when did the user lose their entitlement?Was it on 2024/03/25, after the EXPIRATION event? Or on 2024/04/06, after the grace period ended?If the entitlement was lost after the EXPIRATION event, why does the REST API continue to report 2024/04/06 as the expiration date?

FB app install events stop collecting after I integrated FB with RevenueCat

Hello,I integrated the FB SDK according to your documents and after the release I did not see AppInstall events in the FB Console.I assume this is because I disabled automatic FB event tracking and all RC sends is subscription events.I can't use the AppActivate event because it can't be related to ad campaigns.Can you explain if I might have made a mistake somewhere when linking FB and RC.

Missing method in react native sdk (react-native-purchases

Hello! There is no method to set the protected attribute $firebaseAppInstanceId in react native, so the 3. of this tutorial  for the revenueCat ↔ firebase analytics integration can’t be completed. Setting it with Purchases.setAttributes({$firebaseAppInstanceId: THE_ID }) doesn’t work. How can I do it?

Can't get the same Active Subscriptions when using rc_subscription_status = active as in RevenueCat

I am using the newly available rc_subscription_status in Amplitude to create charts on subscriptions, but I don’t seem to get to the same numbers as in the Overview or Charts sections of RevenueCat.For example, I am using the rc_subscription_status = active and comparing to the “Active Subscriptions” in RevenueCat charts, and there is a significant difference.Also checked for rc_subscription_status = trial, which is also very far from the count in “Active Trials” (a lot higher).Is there a formula that should be applied? Like: to get the Active Subscriptions, we should substract subscriptions with the cancelled (or other?) status?Some documentation on how charts are calculated in revenuecat would be very useful in order to replicate the indicators in other tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel.

Facebook Ads Integration for iOS 14.5+ for users who do not accept ATT prompt

Here is the situation I’d like help with:User is on iOS 14.5+ User does NOT accept ATT prompt - i.e. IDFA is not provided. The goal: Run facebook ads to maximize the number of purchasing users or to maximize the value of users subscribing to the app.If the user does not accept the ATT prompt, in that case facebook uses Apple’s SKAdnetwork for attribution.Does the Facebook Ads Integration in Revenuecat work for users who do not accept the ATT prompt - i.e. will Facebook be able to attribute purchase events to the correct campaign? I don’t think this would work, since I believe SKAdnetwork only works with local events in the app, not server to server events such as this Facebook Ads Integration. I believe that in order to be able to optimize Facebook ads for this use case, we need to track the events we want to optimize for (i.e. start trial / purchase events) locally in the app, then correctly configure the conversion values for SKAdnetwork and not send server to server events such as v

Facebook ads integration not sending events if idfa is disabled ($fbAnonId is enabled)

Added Facebook ads integration: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/facebook-ads When I test events in sandbox only the ones with IDFA enabled are sent, even though $fbAnonId is set.This is reproducible every time IDFA is toggled on/off.  Is this a bug? Cause from doing a research on this forum I found that IDFA should fallback to fbAnonId and send events regardless. I also have my Facebook ads up and running, and not receiving events from RevenueCat.

Send Customer Information to Firebase - Security Rules

Hi, I was looking at sending customer information to firebase as described here. https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/firebase-integration There are example security rules here rules_version = '2';service cloud.firestore { match /databases/{database}/documents { match /${param:REVENUECAT_CUSTOMERS_COLLECTION}/{uid} { allow read: if request.auth.uid == uid; } match /${param:REVENUECAT_EVENTS_COLLECTION}/{id} { allow read: if request.auth.uid == resource.app_user_id } }} Are these security rules meant to be copy/pasted directly into firebase? They flag up some syntax errors when I try to and I’m not sure how they are supposed to be changed. I think the “${param:REVENUECAT_EVENTS_COLLECTION}” is the problematic part.

For example, Cloud Firestore Rules which check subscription status, or maybe cloud functions? Hard to guess ;)

REST API v2 /subscriptions is empty

I’m trying to synchronize a users subscriptions to my backend. What am I missing here? Is there a secret query parameter similar to V1 that I need to set to get the sandbox purchases included here as well?

How can I process one-time payments on the web using Stripe without utilizing Stripe Checkout Sessions?

Hi there,We have a Flutter app for both iOS and Android that is integrated with RC through the SDK. We offer both subscriptions and one-time purchases(IAP). We are now integrating Stripe payments for both subscriptions and one-time purchases in our new web app. However, we are facing difficulties with the integration of one-time payment validation as it requires a Stripe Checkout Session. We have a custom payment form and UI that uses Stripe payment elements, and we are unable to use Stripe Checkout sessions. Are there any other alternatives that we could explore to create entitlement for these purchases?

I see that you guys have this overview metrics endpoint but looks like there is no way to get metrics by Offering. Could you please tell do you plan to add it to REST API or I should go with Webhooks?Thanks

After integrating RevenueCat, the in_app_purchase event stopped in Firebase. Is this normal? Meanwhile, the purchase event is still coming from RevenueCat's Firebase integration.Flutter, Android

Troubleshooting RevenueCat's API Integration with Stripe for One-Time Purchases

I'm trying to connect RevenueCat with Stripe for one-time payments in my JavaScript web app, but I'm running into a problem. When I try to send information about one-time payments to RevenueCat, I get an error message saying there's an internal server error ({ code: 7110, message: 'Internal server error.' }). This issue doesn't happen with subscriptions; it's only with one-time payments. I've tried using different combination with/without Stripe product and price IDs but keep getting the same error. The instructions mentions to use the Stripe's Price objects in documentation, but there aren't clear details on how to do this in the API documentation. Missing renewal webhook event

I am using the firebase extension and have not received a renewal (subscription extended) event for customer cltkw0rlVdU1KUgzKp9dZ1zzTtp2. The Customer History shows this event that happened about 9-10 hours ago.FWIW, I have the connection to Google real-time developer notifications setup correctly and it has been working. But the Google Developer Notifications Topic ID has last received event back in Feb. Are there any known issues with developer notifications?

Promotional (Granting Entitlement) Event

I need a way to notify our backend when a promotional entitlement is manually granted to someone in the Revenucat dashboard. I don't see an event of this type being emitted via webhooks. Does anyone know how to work around this, or what the chances are that the Revenucat team could add this functionality? ;)

Max limit value to paginate the next page.

Hi Team, This question regards the pagination of REST API endpoints. It is mentioned in the document in the pagination section that the default value for the limit is 20, but it doesn’t mention the maximum value.I have tested it in the Postman, and it supports unlimited value. Is there any plan to fix the limit value at a certain value? I also noticed an error with the pagination when setting the value to 1. The pagination goes into an infinite loop when we set the pagination limit value to 1. The next_page field returns the same API URL multiple times. Could you please look into that?

Integrating revenuecat financial data to activate functionality in supabase backend

Hi there,I wanted to check how can revenuecat help my situation. The billing method I am thinking about is getting my user to pay a one time fee to unlock features, and also having consumables that they can purchase quarterly. How can revenuecat sends the revenue amount or knowledge that the user had paid for the feature or consumables to supabase which is my backend, and so that when my user login to the system, they can get full access to all their features they have paid for?

Google Analytics integration not working

Hi. I’m trying to get the Firebase/Google Analytics integration working, but I’m struggling. I have populated the integration config form, and selected the enable sandbox events checkbox. Since I did this, two real users made purchases, triggering the integration and I can see their payloads at the bottom of the integration config screen. Both events were rc_trial_start and they received 204 responses.When I look in Google Analytics, I don’t see any mention of rc_trial_start and no revenue is recorded against the app. The data streams in Google Analytics appear to be set up correctly. Should I be performing additional configuration inside of GA or should things just start happening as my data comes through?Finally, I have made sandbox purchases with my iOS simulator and StoreKit. I can see my sandbox user data in RevenueCat and I can see they have a Firebase App Instance Id attribute. However, this sandbox purchase is not listed in the log at the bottom of the integration config form.

User ID or IDFA for Branch attribution

Hi there,I am looking at the Branch/RevenueCat integration and I am curious about why device identifiers such as IDFA are required. Can RevenueCat events not be attributed to a Branch campaign via the user ID? (as long as Branch and Purchases ids match).FYI we are only interested in seeing the attributed RC events in Branch, we don’t need RC to know about our campaigns.
