GetProducts type magic string and empty products array

In Unity SDK there is GetProducts method with this semantics:public void GetProducts(string[] products, GetProductsFunc callback, string type = "subs") How we should know this magic strings for “type”? I want to display Price in game user interface. This price can be obtained through StoreProduct. But I can’t get ANY StoreProduct, because GetProducts alwats return empty array. I wanted to change type from “subs” to anything else, but there is no another constants mentioned in docs \ code. Please help me to fetch all my products and check prices for them. Example scripts throws null reference exception in Unity3D

I’m using Unity3D 2021.3.27f1 and Revenue Cat Unity SDK 4.16.0 (also tried with 5.0.0-alpha.1). I have simple empty scene with single object called Revenue Cat with two components. 1st is the Purchases component and second is the implementation of Purchases.UpdatedCustomerInfoListener that I called RevenueCatListener. It’s just copy paste from SDK installation instructions on official docs.The problem is that on Start i’m getting two null references: 1st one when code reachs SetLogLevel function invoke and second when I try to fetch products. I debug it and found that _wrapper that created in Purchases component is null during thins invocations. And this is very logical, because bwrapper created at Start and SetLogLevel \ FetchProducts (Offers) in docs example are at Start. So because Unity Start invocation order isn't guaranteed by default, we have wrong invocation order and null references. My question is how it’s possible that there is SUCH big problem in default examples of SDK? M

Implement Subscritions Bundle

I know this question has been asked sometimes, but I could not find definitive answers. I have three apps on the App Store, having auto-renewable subscriptions. I would like to create a subscription bundle, where user can purchase the subscription bundle from any of the three apps. Obviously, the user should get access to all three apps once the purchase is successful. Kotlin 1.4.21 Versipn

"I am working on a large, legacy Android project. I need to integrate RevenueCat into the application, but due to my Kotlin version being 1.4.21, I cannot integrate the latest versions. I tried to upgrade the Kotlin version, but then other libraries started to throw errors. The Hilt library, in particular, caused many issues. I couldn't find a way out. I'm considering downgrading the RevenueCat version, but I couldn't find which version is compatible with my Kotlin version. Could you please help me?"

Unexpected behaviors when crossgrading from Google monthly legacy plan to the new unified Google yearly plan

Our team is currently integrating the option to cross-grade between monthly ↔ yearly subsctiptions.Most of our Android users are on old Google legacy subcription plans. Finding originalTransactionId to extend subscription renewal date

I am using Revenue Cat to set up in app purchases in my React Native app. I want to build an API that extends the susbcription renewal date using the App Store Server API for my iOS users. This is the PUT API call:https://api.storekit.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/subscriptions/extend/{originalTransactionId}The path parameter includes the originalTransactionId (required, the original transaction identifier of the subscription receiving a renewal date extension). RevenueCat does not seem to remember the original userId set for a google account

Here's an overview of my system:My app requests a new user ID from my backend. It uses the obtained ID by passing it to the Purchases.logIn() method.When I get the original user ID from the customer info given from the login callback, it sets the original userid (UID) into its app data. Turns out when I wipe out the app data and repeat the process, the getOriginalid() method returns the same newly regenerated ID used during relogin instead of returning a different id; not considering that the same google account is logged in.I also tried changing the transfer behavior in the Dashboard, but to no avail. I want my app to obtain the original id, even when app data is reset Is there any real way that I can ensure the same user is logging in, even when App data is compromised?

Check Eligibility in production Environment is sending "unknown"

Hi, the app is using RC to make a purchase, I already update the bundle Id and the keys into the RC dashboard, However when I tried to make a purchase I’m seeing in the logs that is in sandbox env.And when the Apple pay dialog is presented, it is displaying information about sandbox user. [React-Native] How to implement addShouldPurchasePromoProductListener?

Hello, I want to be able to process subscriptions that come from App store promos.I found out that this method ‘addShouldPurchasePromoProductListener’ is should be able to process it, but I can’t find an example or doc of how to properly implement it. In my app users have to sign up first before using an app, so what if they click on that promo in the appstore before signing up, what should be the app behavior and method implementation in such case?

Flutter StoreProduct discounts vs introductoryPrice

Hey,I am currently working on implementing Offers and Discounts into my paywall for flutter, and I'd appreciate assistance with a couple of issues I've encountered.Firstly, everything appears to be working as expected for the AppStore. When I inspect the StoreProduct object, I can see that both the introductoryPrice and discounts fields correctly reflect my setup on AppStore Connect. However, the situation is different for Android/GooglePlay. It seems that only the introductoryPrice is being set, and the discounts field remains empty. Can you confirm if my assumption is correct, and Android never populates the discounts field since the PlayStore does not offer that capability?Secondly, I am a bit confused about how to handle purchases of a Package using discounts and intro prices. On iOS, I successfully used the method Purchases.purchaseDiscountedPackage to buy a package using the StoreProductDiscount. However, I'm unsure how to make a purchase at the introductoryPrice. User alias is created with delay using Purchases.getSharedInstance().logIn

We have encountered an issue where the user alias is created with a delay by using the following API:In java: Purchases.getSharedInstance().logIn( … ) Below is the timeline of our user: Because the delay described above, the Webhook notified our backend service with an AnonymuosID, and we do know about the alias happened afterward. Thus our own service cannot link the user’s REAL user id with the purchases and subscriptions they made. This happens quite often on our side (more than 2% of our users are impacted!!!!), and it has caused a huge data loss already. Please fix this as soon as possible, or let us know, what can goes wrong with the integration.

iOS Swift SDK - Offering Metadata type casting errors

Recently we’ve started integrate the Offering Metadata feature. As this is a beta feature, I believe there is a minor bug in the SDK. Reproduction Steps:Add an integer property into metadata of the offering using RevenueCat dashboard (“myProperty” : 123) Try to read the the integer value using in Swift code: offering?.getMetadataValue(for: "myProperty", default: -1) The value defaults to -1 rather than 123 When I checked the SDK code, I see that the metadata dictionary returned as [“myProperty: “123”]. Then getMetadataValue<T>(for key: String, default: T) -> T function is failing to cast the value to Int even though generic value T is set to Int in above call. It is not a major issue as I can achieve casting in my code but wanted to report it here. I am using:Swift 5Xcode 14.3.1RevenueCat 4.25.0

IOS products price is showing in Android products price

I have implemented Consumable In app Purchase in my Android and IOS app. When I implemented only in Android the price of products were correctly appearing. When I configure app with iOS now I’m getting IOS products price inside my Android App. I have created two different apps separately for Android and IOS platforms and used different keys inside app on platform conditions based to display in app products with respect to platforms.

Error performing request while login

During calling Purchases.logIn(userUid);I very often get an error : PlatformException (PlatformException(10, Error performing request., {code: 10, message: Error performing request., readableErrorCode: NetworkError, readable_error_code: NetworkError, underlyingErrorMessage: thread interrupted}, null)) I do not have any network connection problems and after restarting the app problem is gone. Test Restore Purchases in sandbox

Hi!I’m trying to test restoring Purchases in sandbox mode. My app does not identify users, and, by not having a login screen, every one of them has an anonymous App User ID.I purchased a consumable item inside the app, and, as this grants a “benefactor” entitlement, tried to restore the entitlement after uninstalling the app. This did not work.How can I ensure that an anonymous user can restore entitlements that are granted via consumable products? Is it required to provide a user identifier to share a subscription between apps logged in to the same Apple ID?

I read this doc which seems to suggest it is a requirement:https://www.revenuecat.com/v2.3/docs/macosiOS and macOS (including Catalyst) use different bundle Ids, meaning any purchase on either platform completely separate from each other. To share a subscription across both platforms a consistent user identifier needs to be set in the Purchases SDK.But, I also saw this other Q&A that seemed to indicate that a restore purchases button will allow the user to access their subscription between devices if they are logged in to the same Apple ID. So wanted to clear up for myself - can an iOS app, macOS app, a watchOS app, and an iPad app that only use anonymous IDs but logged into the same Apple ID share a subscription regardless of on what device the purchase was made?

After successful purchase the purchase method falls into the error as if entitlement is not activated

Yesterday I have published my first app on the Appstore and all my clients faced the same problem. When they made a subscription for trial or even purchase - the operation ended up with success. They received the receipt from Apple about it or money were taken from their account (in case of in-app purchase) but then they fall into this error: "Purchase succeeded but program is not active".
