Can I force sync between PaymentQueue and RevenueCat for consumable in app purchases in React Native?

Hello, I have a React Native iOS project where I am incorporating RevenueCat Consumable in app purchases. We noticed that there is an edge case with the purchasePackage flow described in the documentation here: https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/making-purchases try { console.log(`Making purchase`); await Purchases.purchasePackage(productPackage); console.log(`Purchase successful`); } catch (error) { if (error.userCancelled) { // do nothing } else { // do error logic } }If there is an internet disruption or the app crashes during the execution of that purchasePackage promise (after the payment is authorized in the payment sheet but before the promise resolves), the payment can get in a weird state where it seems to be recorded but not recognized by RevenueCat. is migration with syncPurchases only needed for subscriptions?

Before RC integration I’ve only had a non-consumable IAP for lifetime unlock, I’m adding subscriptions now with RC. Since subscriptions are new, is it OK to skip syncPurchases or is it needed in any way for migration of the non-consumable IAP?

Android Subscription Upgrade Error: "The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase."

When trying to upgrade an existing Play Store subscription in our React Native mobile app, I often get a "The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase" error, and the upgrade fails. Eventually, using another payment method, the upgrade succeeds. I’m unsure if this is an error with my payment method, RevenueCat code, or something else.Steps taken on a Samsung Galaxy A14 in a live production app with real purchases:Purchase sakura_gold_v1a:monthly-5-autorenewing subscription with Apple Card credit card info entered into Play Store - succeeds. Upgrade to sakura_diamond_v1a:montly-19-autorenewing subscription with Apple Card - fails. Retry - fails. iOS Bug: RCPurchases offeringsWithCompletionBlock offerings and error are both nil

We noticed some unusual behavior. This seems to happen when there is no clear error and we are unsure if this was intended or not. Consider the following code: [[RCPurchases sharedPurchases] offeringsWithCompletionBlock:^(RCOfferings* offerings, NSError* error){ if (offerings.current) { ... } else if (error) { ... } else { // this branch actually gets executed! ... }}];Both offerings.current and error are nil in some cases. Usually it has something to do with running on iOS simulator or when the IAPs aren’t setup properly (which can be seen in the logs), but the implication in the call is that error will never be nil. Luckily we were able to identify this issue quickly and patch our code with a workaround, but maybe the SDK team might want to revise that behavior. We haven’t tested if other calls have the same issue or if other platform SDKs have it.

await Purchases.syncPurchases(); does not work for other device

Device A- Logged in Google play account (Aplaystoreaccount@gmail.com)- Logged in APP ID (Aappid@gmail.com)Device B- Logged in Google play account (Bplaystoreaccount@gmail.com)- Logged in APP ID (Aappid@gmail.com) I saw this "await Purchases.syncPurchases();" on the docs and I used it after the subscription renewed, but this method just worked with Device A, I call this method with Device A this it gets the purchase info on google play and then renewing the subscription on Revenuecat.When i call this method "await Purchases.syncPurchases();" with Device B nothing happened, because the entitlement is not active.Why Device A worked perfect but Device B not worked this method "await Purchases.syncPurchases();"?

Production iOS App White Screen - Test Flight and Dev Environment working

Our testflight apps and local dev app works just fine. The android version of the app works without any issues. Apple approved the app but not the subscriptions yet and now our app bricks on production but works just fine on test flight. The app gets stuck at a white screen on load. What more information could I provide to help with troubleshooting?It appears the app bricks when Purchase.setup() fails, but I don’t know the exact reason for the error when I cannot get it to reproduce locally.

How to get "Associated Entitlements" for all product?

Hi,I have multiple entitlements in my app and I want to group the products under respective entitlement on my paywall. I am able to get only purchased entitlements from `getPurchaserInfo` . Is their a way to get the "Associated Entitlements" for all products (both purchased and not purchased)? Thank you

Ionic's Purchases plugin can't get any entities

So I'm using the @ionic-native/purchases plugin for setting up in-app subscriptions. Unable to Purchase Product on iOS (Sandbox)

Hi everyone, I am new here. We’re using react-native-purchases for in-app purchases. Somehow, it was working fine till today on iOS and Android but things started to break on iOS ever since I have decided to delete subscription groups and items from App Store Connect. Basically, I deleted the previous subscription items (also the groups), then I created another group and put all new subscription item into that group. I didn’t touch the in-app purchases tho.When I started testing IAPs (subscriptions and consumables) using sandbox account and with my TestFlight account as well, I have been getting the following error:There was a problem with the App Store. Problem communicating with the Store when trying to validate the receipt.However, everything is working fine on Android. I have double checked my app store connect configuration and RC. Are users who cancel a free trial (Introductory offer) eligible for promotional offers?

Hi all,I haven't been able to find the answer to this specific case in the docs.When a user subscribes to a product that has an introductory offer (eg: 1 week free) and they then cancel thereby when the intro period runs out they won't be charged. My question is are they then eligible for a promotional offer?I am trying to implement a win back strategy for users that cancel their subscription and for this promotional offers work perfectly but I am also trying to nudge a user that has had a trial but canceled it into a discounted subscription Thanks so much

Subscriptions not working in Testflight (macOS)

Hi all,I'm building a macOS app with some renewable subscriptions.Everything is working fine when testing within Xcode on my mac, but now I have uploaded my macOS app to TestFlight, I see that the offerings are not working.If I inspect my network traffic with Proxyman, I do see that the app is trying to get the data, but the response is empty (or it says "invalid json").Any idea what might causing this?Kind regards,Frederik

PurchaserInfo.requestDate is always stale when I grant a user with lifetime access

When the phone is offline I am relying on these 2 parameters to make sure the user has access to the premium entitlement:purchaserInfo.entitlements[premiumEntitlementID].isActive == true purchaserInfo.requestDate is not older than 24hIf the premium entitlement is active but the purchaserInfo.requestDate is older than 24h, I block the access to the premium features and kindly request the user to connect to the internet to keep enjoying those features.Now for some reason I have noticed that if I grant a user with lifetime access, it seems like purchaserInfo.requestDate gets roughly stuck to the same date/time as when I granted lifetime access. The user can thus not use the premium features after 24h even if the phone has an active internet connection. This obviously defeats the purpose of granting lifetime access.To give more details I call Purchases.shared.purchaserInfo() whenever the app becomes active and also as the app is active, whenever the internet connection becomes active. Display currency from storeproduct class doesn't match my locale.

Since last month my display prices from the class store product displaying wrong currency and prices. I’m currently in the netherlands, so my currency should be EUR, but instead it’s showing RY - currency from turkey. I have not changed anything in my default phone settings. I have been investing this issue for the last 2 weeks, but there are no similar cases. Is there anyone who could help me? Hi everyone,Is it possible to configure 2 different webhook URLs? We would like to have the sandbox requests to our staging environment and the production requests to production. Not getting the onSuccess callback on Android

We’re using RevenueCat for subscriptions, but am now having issues with receiving the `onSuccess` callback when a user subscribes.If the user cancels the flow, we end up in the `onError` callback as expected, but when signing up we just don’t receive the callback, so the flow stops and doesn’t continue.Our implementation is working fine in production, but we’ve redone some of our signup flow, but we haven’t really (to my knowledge at least) changed anything in regards to subscription.The subscription code is called from a `ViewModel` and the function is called from a button click, so the call should be running on the mainthread (not sure if it matters really since it’s a callback).The code is fairly straightforward: Purchases.purchasePackageWith( activity = activity, packageToPurchase = packageToBuy, onError = { error, userCancelled → // Tell the View something went wrong. }, onSuccess = { transaction, customerInfo → // Call the View to update itse

Adopting the new StoreKit 2 APIs

In the Launch Party, one of the presenters was discussing adopting the latest RevenueCat StoreKit 2 APIs. If I remember correctly, a modifier to the Purchases configuration was used. However, I can’t find that in documentation, and the Launch Party video does not seem to be available. Can someone point me in the right direction?

iOS payment sheet prompted twice

In the sandbox environment, when I call Purchases.purchaseProduct or Purchases.purchasePackage (my product is auto-renewable), the payment sheet pops up for confirmation as expected. After I entered my credentials and pressed confirm, the payment sheet shows up again. I have to reenter my credential to confirm the purchase. This happens if the user does not have any subscriptions initially. Another big issue related to this is when the subscription expires, I cannot make a purchase to the same subscription because the payment sheet doesn’t show up at all, and the SDK console says it will not process because the purchase/transaction is a duplicate. TIA!

App Store Rejection - Receipt is mising

I’ve submitted my app to the Apple App Store and keep getting rejected for the error “Receipt is missing”.How can I simulate the exact method Apple uses to test apps? Whenever I test using either:Xcode + a physical device + sandbox account or TestFlight + non-sandbox App IDthe subscriptions go through successfully. Hence I have a few questions: How do I replicate the error the app review team get so I can debug? In my scheme settings through Xcode before I submit my app, do I need to set the field StoreKit Configuration to “None”? Or can I leave this selected on my StoreKit config file when I submit my app? How do I use this receipt validation link? https://www.revenuecat.com/apple-receipt-validation/. There are no directions for use on the website. What do I need to enter in the first field which states “Paste your receipt”? I’m testing my react native app. I ‘bought’ 1-month subscription, I guess there’s automatic renewal. Detailed debug logs using Unity SDK are not displayed.

We’re integrating RevenueCat to our Unity app, but we can’t seem to find the way to display the detailed logs I’ve seen around in the documentation and in this forum. Those described here. I’ve tried in both an Android and an iOS build.I am, of course, calling SetDebugLogsEnabled(true) before calling Configure(...), as prescribed in the docs. I can also correctly purchase sandbox subscriptions using the SDK, so the setup phase seems to be working fine. (We’re using RevenueCat SDK 4.0.0 and Unity 2021.3.8)
