I’ve implemented revenuecat for in-app purchase with google play. I’ve done all steps carefully, but when purchasing in testing mode, it gives this error “This version of the application is not configured for billing through Google Play. check the help center for more information”. I have wasted more than a month solving this error. Nothing works for me. Please help.Thanks!

Why am I only getting the backwards compatible product in android?

SyncPurchases does not migrate non-consumable purchases

Howdy!My iOS app previously had a single “Unlock Pro” non-consumable iap (not using RevenueCat), and now I’ve setup and implemented subscription plans using RevenueCat.It works great, except migrating the old legacy non-consumable purchase is not working. On the latest version of the iOS SDK, I hit this line when I call syncPurchases.Is it a bug that that code ignores non-consumable purchases? It was introduced by this PR, in December. I downgraded to iOS SDK 4.15.5 (before the release with that code) and syncing the legacy non-consumable purchase seems to have worked as expected.Would love some advice on this. Would you recommend releasing with the 4.15.5 version of the sdk?(also, THANK YOU for making the iOS sdk open source ❤️)

[EAS][RevenueCat SDK] Test on Android device

Hi ! I am configuring the SDK in a React Native app in Expo, using eas build.The doc indicates the following :To see your configured products in your Android app, you’ll need to upload this APK to Google Play. This APK does not need to be released to production—uploading it to an internal track is sufficient.But the APK built to test the app in the device can not be uploaded to the Play Store since they only accept .aab files Trying to get the offerings in my app triggers the following errors :There is an issue with your configuration. Where to Configure RevenueCat When Using Custom User Ids?

Docs say not to configure RevenueCat in -application:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions: when using custom user ids since iOS 15+ prewarming. Instead configure in your root view controller’s initialization method. Which ‘initialization’ method is that? When validating consumable item receipts on the server.

In swift, when I purchase a consumable item, it sends a receipt to the server for validation. In storekit, I know that it checks the purchase history of the consumable item on the server and then calls the finishtransaction() function inside the app.So how can revenucat do this? When I use revenucat, I tried to check the purchase history on the server but there is no history. Please tell me how to do it.Thanks.

Free Trial with Anonymous RevenueCat App User ID vs. Custom User ID

Suppose you don’t have any user registration or account system.Now, if the user downloads your app (let’s say with 1 week free trial), and deletes the app, and re-downloads it again, if they are using random/anonymous user IDs that are generated by RevenueCat, then they will be able to circumvent the subscription process by simply deleting and resinstalling the app to get another 1 week free. They can do this repeatedly. Am I correct?If so, then it seems important to use custom user IDs in this scenario (for example, UIDevice.currentDevice.identifierForVendor.UUIDString) which will generate a unique user ID for each device for the vendor/app. Then we can check if the user has already downloaded and installed the app and taken advantage of the free trial, and if so, don’t allow another. Correct?If we use this approach, the subscription won’t be available on any other devices. But that’s okay, since on those devices, we can always use the “Restore Purchases” button to get access to thos

Hi there,My question is this: We have connected webhook events to our app and in the client side we have implemented only the configure part with userId and login method RNPurchase.configure({ apiKey: "xxxxxxxxx", appUserID: UUID-userIdHere }); RNPurchase.logIn(userID); So our app won't have anonymous users. According to documents, we should not call logOut() method for users because we don’t want anonymous users. However, we should be able to get TRANSFER type of events in the webhooks but we could not received it yet. In this case our users can change users with different logins. Puchase takes long time on Sandbox testing

The problem is that purchasePackage takes long time (over 60 sec) to complete its job and return value. Developed with Flutter, testing on iOS device with Sandbox environment. Hi. I created a new iOS project on AppStore Connect 2-3 weeks ago.I was almost finished with my app, but I realized a bug. I’m using the Flutter platform to develop my new app.The checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility method returns introEligibilityStatusUnknown when I added an Introductory offer to my subscription.(If I have not added an Introductory Offer to my subscription, in this case the checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility returns introEligibilityStatusNoIntroOfferExists. So it is working correctly in this case.)The checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility method and code has worked in my previous projects.Has anything changed on the iOS side? This is typically due to a bug in StoreKit`.I was recently rejected from app store review due to this weird RevenueCat bug ("react-native-purchases": "5.13.0") that I sometimes experience.I believe that I have set up all of my code correctly, but when clicking on a subscription purchase (using the purchaseProduct method - `const purchase = await Purchases.purchaseProduct(identifier, null, Purchases.PURCHASE_TYPE.SUBS);`) the request can fail and throw the following error. “The receipt is not valid. The purchased product was missing in the receipt. This is typically due to a bug in StoreKit.” It seems that this error will happen in patches 5-10 times in a row, then once I see one success, they are all successful from there forward (the purchase modal shows up with the product, and the user can subscribe to my subscription). Now when I go back into the app, I cannot reproduce the bug as it will be

I have in Revenue 1 Offer with 4 packages. 1 Premium Monthly, 1 Premium Yearly, 1 Plus Monthly, 1 Plus Yearly. All packages are connected with the product from the respective app stores. Everything works perfectly on Apple but Google does not show me a single subscription (Premium Monthly). Does it take until changes are visible in RevenueCat. We use the whole thing in a Flutter App.

Please fix incorrect React Native examples in Offering documentation

I’m trying to use an offering with multiple packages (using custom identifiers), and the documentation is incorrect when it says you can access an offering and a package via its identifier in this section:https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/displaying-products#displaying-packages It says to use this code:offerings.all("experiment_group").package("<package_id>")But in the RevenueCat SDK, “all” is a property and not a method. Pending payment - Handle slow test card (Google Play)

Hi everyone!I am working on a game in Unity and have noticed that when i use the Test Card: “Slow test card, approves after a few minutes”, that i get an error: “PAYMENT_PENDING_ERROR”. This can be because of parental controls etc, but not in this case! When getting this error i have no way of giving the users their IAP product that they just purchased (when the payment goes through eventually). I have been looking at different options, but there is no perfect answer. How are you personally handling this? What happens if user with defined app id subscribes from ios platform and changes to android or vice versa?

Consider a situation where user had subscribed to any of the plans in one platform (assume ios) and later due to some reason user has to change to different platform (say android) or vice versa. How to best handle this situation ? User doesn’t seem to see active entitlement.

Hello, I am using React-native and building an app in IOS. It is strange that when i try to use this function, it returns me nothing. when i try to get offerings, it returns me an an error that There is an issue with your configuration. Live app, 1 user getting "Google Play In-app Billing API version is less than 3"

We have an app in production using RevenueCat for iOS and Android using the Cordova SDK"cordova-plugin-purchases": "^3.12.0" One of our users is reporting that they’re not able to subscribe. Looking in Sentry, they’re the only one receiving this error. Expo Go & RevenueCat: the very basics

I’m new to React Native, Expo, and RevenueCat so this is likely very basic but can’t find an answer to this anywhere. I’m following this guide.I’m not familiar with the lingo yet but I’m pretty sure I’m using the “managed workflow” version of Expo. In terms of development and testing, the only setup I’m currently familiar with is Expo Go -- in other words, running “npm start” on my dev machine, opening Expo Go on my device and connecting, then updating/editing code. This is the only way I know how to write code for my app. Then when I’m ready for full testing on a device, I run an EAS build and download it to my device, but at this point I have absolutely no more visibility into the code, it’s a complete black box -- it’s just a standalone running app on my phone.My understanding is that the RevenueCat modules do not work with Expo Go. If I try to include them I get a “Invariant Violation: Your JavaScript code tried to access a native module that doesn't exist” error. First question is

Does the RevenueCat SDK cache products between app starts? I can’t find anything in the documentation about this. Use case: user opens app while device is offline and hits a paywall. While they won’t be able to proceed with the purchase, it would still be great to display prices.
