iOS offerings empty only after successful app store review (testing with promo code)

Our iOS app works ok in TestFlight but subscription offerings is coming back empty once the app is approved by apple. Our steps arePost to TestFlight prior to review  Launch app and go to subscription screen - works fine Send for Apple Review (set to manual release) App passes Apple Review Download with a promo code Launch app and go to subscription screen - no products! Try restoring purchases - no products!Obviously we’d like to make sure this works before we manually release, is there anything that might be stopping the offerings/products showing after the Apple Review. Is it the promo code? Or perhaps something else?Things we’ve checkedThe bundle ID is correct The in-app purchase entitlement is present There are products in the offerings Our products on the App Store have passed approval

One of the subscriber's App User ID is missing

Recently one user subscribed to our annual plan, however the webhook failed to proceed because the App user ID returned only the RC Anonymous ID ( $RCAnonymousID… ).I have no idea why it happens and not sure what to do next, all I can do is wait for him to contact us. Any advice? FYR, all other users has successfully logged in with the correct App user ID.

Payment denied within Play Store

Hello,Our custromer tried to subscribe to our app and had an error message in French "Transaction Denied" when she tried to proceed payment within Play Store (French location).The customer tried to delete and re-install the app and also tried to reset the bank detail for no better result. Any idea of could have occurred and what to do to resolve this issue? Our app is very recent with only few succeeded transactions of this type. Thanks a lot for you help, Kind regards,Bertrand

Transactions fail with "billing issue"

Hello, I have RevenueCat integrated with one of my apps and I loved it so far, but recently I’ve noticed that some of my transactions fail with “billing issue” for example last week I’ve had 4 in a row free trial conversions to paid users fail with a billing issue which seems too odd to be coincidence 1 of the transactions first failed with billing issue then 24h later appeared as “converted from the free trial”The api version the app uses is: 3.11.1Users with billing issue are using IOS 14 and 15 and located in US and AustraliaSo are there some logs that I can check to see what was the reason for the failed transactions or can someone from RevenueCat check that for me? Thank you!

Problem with NemID verification and mastercard

The users that have NemID verification (security step for online payments in Denmark) for payments with their cards can’t make an in-app-purchase in order to subscribe to the premium content in our app. They get a 403 HTTP error when being redirected to the verification website and when trying to verify. This has so far only happened for users that use Mastercard.What should we do about that? Did we miss something in our payment implementation or should we configure something more on RevenueCat as well? Also, is there a possibility to have multiple web-hook urls? Basically we would like to have one url for the Sandbox account for the development environment and a second url for the production environment. Can this be done? And lastly, can we somehow test this flow (paying with a card with NemID verification) on the test versions of the app and RevenueCat sandbox account. (Otherwise the only way to test this, would be going live with the app, and we obviously don’t want to test the app

Data processing

I'm preparing the Store listings and they ask me how I use the data. I do not collect any user data, I only make the app purchase through subscription through RevenueCat. Now I wonder if the fact that there is RevenueCat in the middle must make me say that some data are withheld and if so what should I say about the use of user data.Can I say that I don't collect any data or isn't it?Thanks

Using RevenueCat REST APIs for In App Purchases using the Appgyver platform

Hello Everyone,We developed an app using Appgyver Composer Pro that currently doesn’t have In App purchase plugins. I saw  this documentation: https://docs.revenuecat.com/reference#basic  and was wondering if this could work  for adding Zoom meeting links in the app considering Appgyver Composer Pro has capability to integrate REST APIs? Apple will not accept our app becuase we do not have In-app purchase services within the appThank you all for your help!

Metered paywall or offering subscription after usage not time

Apologies if this isn’t the right place for this question but I’m really struggling to evaluate whether our use case is possible.Our desirable payment method would be to offer a subscription after the user has completed so many tasks within our app, rather than over a time period. The most common example to this is “You’ve read 4 articles this month.. now here's how you can subscribe”. Everything I’ve read around subscriptions seems to offer free trials based on time.  It's our first time implementing in app purchases and we’re assessing our options. My assumption at the moment is that we can keep track of their usage and then present a non-free trial subscription after they’ve reached that threshold but I’m not sure if I’m being naive there.  Does anyone have any experience with this approach or could kindly point me in the direction of any examples of it with Revenue Cat?

Restore Purchases required after updating app version for iOS users?

Hi everyone,I just released a new version of my app on the App Store. When users who are already subscribed download and update to the new version, they’re getting my “Subscribe Now” paywall.If they tap “Restore Purchases”, then it correctly restores the purchase and shows that they are now subscribed. My app doesn’t have user authentication, so I’m relying on RevenueCat to generate a random App User ID. This is how I’m instantiating the RevenueCat SDK:Swift: // *** Configure RevenueCat in-app purchases *** //Purchases.logLevel = .debugPurchases.configure(withAPIKey: API_KEY_HERE, appUserID: nil, observerMode: false, userDefaults: UserDefaults(suiteName: "NAME HERE"))Purchases.shared.delegate = selfI’m guessing what’s happening is when a user updates the app and opens it, the app instantiates the RevenueCat SDK and generates a new anonymous ID, which isn’t aliased back to the original subscription unless they tap “Restore Purchase” first.   My question is--- is there any way to do this

Slack server sends too many messages

We use Slack message server, but it sends too many messages everyday. When we click the customer id to see his purchase history, we notice that he has subscribed before we add RevenueCat SDK in our app. So how can we stop getting these old customers’ messages, only get new purchases’ messgaes?

Best practices for handling non-subscription transactions and refunds

I have one consumable product in my iOS app that doesn’t link to any entitlements as recommended in the docs:If you have non-subscription products, you may or may not want to add them to entitlements depending on your use case. If the product is non-consumable (e.g. lifetime access to "pro" features), you likely want to attach it to an entitlement. However, if it is consumable (e.g. purchase more lives in a game) you likely do not want to add them to an entitlement.Right now I’m using the transaction history to keep track of the purchases and unlock in-app content accordingly. Not sure what’s the best approach for this to correctly handle refunds.

The webhooks page on the dashboard is not showing past events

The webhooks page on the dashboard seems to be broken. Specifically, it does not render the past webhook events like it used to. To get around this, I'm inspecting the network requests for the `/webhooks?limit=30` request, which does return the webhook event data in the `last_events` array. The page just doesn't render this on the screen at all  (it always says "No events to show")

iOS: from Non-Renewing Subscription to Auto-Renewable Subscription (premium vesion)

When I initially set up RevenueCat, I created and used a Non-Renewing Subscription product. This product was used to indicate if a user is premium or not. Everything works as it should be. What I want to do is to change this existing product with a Auto-Renewable Subscription product WITHOUT any of my existing premium users loosing premium access. This is really important for our app, this is why I want to make sure that nothing goes wrong as I make the required changes. I created a new product on App Store Connect which is a Auto-Renewable Subscription product. What steps should I take, in order to change the product that is now used inside the app and WITHOUT any of my existing premium users loosing premium access?

iOS (Live) PurchaseSheet PayUpFront Introductory Offer with higher pricing not showing (all others work)

Dear all,I have come across an issue that I can’t seem to figure out. I have successfully implemented RevenueCat and subscriptions in my iOS app, including checking the eligibility for introductory offers. All works as expected.However, one of my subscriptions is an annual subscription for which I would like to add an introductory payUpFront offer in which the initial price is higher than the recurring price. This to retain and reward users for their ongoing subscription. For example: A one off payment for the first year of $29.99, then recurring at $19.99 per year until cancelled. I have set this up in App Store Connect without issues and the subscription is approved by Apple:Already during my sandbox testing (on device) I noticed that when I tried to purchase this subscription, the native purchase sheet never shows the upfront costs of $29.99 and only shows the recurring $19.99 per year.The issue is not related to its eligibility since I have another subscription alongside it in the

UpgradeInfo not working on Android with Flutter

I’m testing in Android emulator with Play Store access using a testing account so no actual money is being charged. I am able to purchase products and packages, but not able to test changing packages using the UpgradeInfo docs. What could the issue be with Play Store or is there some other configuration I need to make somewhere? When I select the package to change to I see the following, which all looks correct in my logs. iOS subscription Levels, up/downgrade clarification

On iOS store, I have created 3 products in the same group at 3 different levels. One product at each level. Reading below, I followed the process. In my sandbox environment, I initiated purchase at Level 2, which went through fine. I then initiated another purchase at Level 1 which went through fine BUT... I was expecting Level 2 to be isActive = false! after the Level 1 in-app purchase goes through. I am actually seeing both Level 1 product and Level 2 Product as active and will renew = true for both. Can someone help me understand why this is please? and if it is a normal behaviour?  I also read that at any one time, only one subscription can be active in any one group, but this is not what I am experiencing as stated above. Am I missing something?

App binary payments error for App Store, subscriptions are not displayed.

I have a detail with the update of my application, initially I had uploaded a build with the subscriptions of Renew Cat and these were shown so that users could obtain them, but in this last update they are not being shown, in the documentation they indicate that the subscriptions Real or production are only visible when the build is released, but the binary is being rejected by the App Store because the payments are not visible.

I’ve updated my subscriptions/products in Google Play and restarted my app, but RevenueCat Purchases.getOfferings() never updates with updated titles, descriptions, or pricing. How do I bust the cache to get subscription/product updates?I have a Flutter app and am running the purchases_flutter: ^3.6.0 package.

Hey team!  I’m evaluating RevenueCat for our startup. Question for you: Say we used RevenueCat, but wanted to transition off to a custom solution down the road. What would the process for that be like? For example, will we need to give up our existing subscriptions to our users, or is it possible to transition everyone over?

Hi there,I want to know how should I be able to limit the number of devices with the same user id , and block the subscription provided after that on another device.Like Netflix and Amazon does,  they only allow streaming on maximum 2 to 3 devices simultaneously on  there Standard plan.

Understanding Basics. iOS Subscription groups

I am quite confused with this. An insight into how I should plan this would be much appreciated…Here is what i am trying to do… Requirement:So, I have 3 types of Annual subscription products.Product 1 - Annual_10 (manage a team of 10 people) Product 2 - Annual_20 (manage a team of 20 people) Product 3 - Annual_50 (manage a team of 50 people)Q1 - How do I organise this in one or their own subscription group so that only one subscription is active at any one time! I want the person to be able to switch between subscriptions. So if someone buys Annual_20 and after 8 weeks decides to goto Annual_50, I want him to be able to do it by paying the associated cost and Annual_20 to be disabled at that point. Q2 - Can this switch be done through code or it will need to be done in settings on the iPhone? Many thanks

I ran an A/B test on free trials vs non-free trials and I’m trying to understand the results.The thing I’m most confused about is the difference between the revenue chart and the trial conversion chart. How to fill out Google data safety form

Hi,I’m looking for an advice or a guidance how to fill the Data safety form in Google Play in regard to RevenueCat integration. Our app is not collecting any private user data, no account is necessary, no ads, no analytics implemented, but offers subscription to Premium version with unlimited functionality. We are processing Premium subscriptions using RevenueCat SDK. We are getting anonymous information about users who started trial/purchased/canceled subscription. All we know is that “someone” (we get anonymous user ID, e.g. $RCAnonymousID:23kkjjj344kjkjkjkjkj3jkjjjkjkj) in Canada using Android device opened the app, started a trial, purchased the Premium subscription, or canceled trial, opt out from renewal of Premium subscription. I assume the “data type” we collect is only “Financial info – Purchase history”. I assume this data is “collected” and users can “choose whether this data is collected”, since users can use the app without purchasing the Premium subscription. I assume the
