Apple small business program exit date

Hi,We just got an email from Apple notifying us that we will be exiting the small business program due to passing the revenue threshold. However I am ensure what date to but in the `exit date` field on RevenueCat? Should it be the start of the next fiscal month?Cheers,Walter

Issue with Google Real-Time Developer Notifications in Latest Release

Hi, I am currently using RevenueCat in my Flutter app, which has been successfully released on both the Apple Store and Google Play. In-app purchases are functioning correctly on both platforms, and there are no issues with the latest releases.However, I am facing a challenge exclusively with the Android version: specifically, the configuration of the "Google Real-Time Developer Notifications". Although all other setup steps have been completed successfully and validated, I encounter an error when attempting to complete this final step.Attached are the necessary screenshots from the RevenueCat dashboard, confirming that all steps preceding this one have been completed without issue, and from the Google Play Console, highlighting the error encountered during the test notification process.Your assistance in resolving this specific issue would be greatly appreciated. I have been blocked on this issue for a few days now.thanks

Separate subscription groups for products when offering sale pricing? (iOS)

When creating multiple offerings (ie. for sales or A/B testing), I understand it’s recommended that iOS devs use separate subscription groups so that users only see one offering in iOS subscription management page. HOWEVER...Question: What happens when a current user reinstalls on a new device and hits “Purchase” instead of “Restore Purchases”? With the separate subscription groups approach, there is the chance they will be double-charged if get the “B offering” when they originally purchased the “A offering”, correct? 😬Comments? Suggestions? Thx.

Does the getCustomerInfo function work periodically in a non-sandbox environment?

Documentation indicates that getCustomerInfo is updated every 5 minutes in a sandbox environment, and similarly, in a sandbox environment, the maximum number of updates may be limited even for subscriptions. But does it work well in production? In other words, is it OK to call getCustomerInfo every time the user tries to access the content to check eligibility? ++The SDK caches the user's subscription information to reduce your app's reliance on the network. Users who unlock entitlements will be able to access them even without an internet connection. The SDK will update the cache if it's older than 5 minutes, but only if you call getCustomerInfo(), make a purchase, or restore purchases, so it's a good idea to call getCustomerInfo() any time a user accesses premium content.   I read the above. Does getCustomerInfo mean that it is automatically updated every 5 minutes in case of purchase or restoration without calling it separately, and if not, it should be called and used every time to

React Native Android still make test purchases on production release

Hi everyone, I put my app in Production yesterday and on every device I tested the sandbox purchase is still being presented.Is there something I need to change to enter production mode? From what I saw in the documentation it was supposed to be something automatic, but I would like to know if there is something I can do to fix this. Thanks!

Revenuecat API fetches data in local development builds (and Expo Go) but does not fetch any data with Test Flight

I build local development builds and the Revenuecat API works fine. Even with Expo Go, Revenuecat works fine, but it does not load data from Revenuecat when submitted to Test Flight and installed on my iPhone. Cannot finish transaction with SDK v.6.3.0 and MagicWeather example

Hello, I configured MagicWeather example (by only changing `appleApiKey` and `ios` bundle name); I also created in-app subscription product in Apple App Store, and configured RevenueCat. Subscription is shown correctly, but it seems transaction never finishes, I am in a loop:  Click on "Change the Weather" opens "paywall" widget with correct price shown, and "terms and conditions" footer. Click on the product item in the list (and I have single product only) will popup iOS username/password screen, "Sign in with Apple ID" After authentication, I can "purchase" chosen product, using iOS "Sandbox" native widget (in my case, clicking "Subscribe" button triggers "Enter password to authorize this transaction") After "purchase" it returns to "paywall" screen, and after few seconds delay it returns back to iOS "purchase product" widget, although I don't click anything. The webhooks page on the dashboard is not showing past events

The webhooks page on the dashboard seems to be broken. Specifically, it does not render the past webhook events like it used to. To get around this, I'm inspecting the network requests for the `/webhooks?limit=30` request, which does return the webhook event data in the `last_events` array. The page just doesn't render this on the screen at all  (it always says "No events to show")

How is MTR calculated when importing old data

If I have an existing billing system and I import my user data (all iOS receipts) via the /receipts RevenueCat API how will that affect the months MTR? I’m assuming that RevenueCat calculate MTR based only on events that happen in the current month e.g. non-consumable purchases, subscription renewals etc and not things that have happened in the past before I opened my RevenueCat account. Just want to double check I don’t run up a bill somehow by importing existing transactions :)

Can a User Purchase Two Things at Once?

Here’s my scenario:I would like for our users to be able to purchase a course (one-time, non-consumable purchase), and with their purchase they get a certain number of free months of a premium subscription for free.  I’m sure that we can achieve the free months with a promo code.  Ideally, the subscription would become auto-renewing after the free period has expired, but if that’s not possible, it would be okay to just have it expire, and then we could prompt users to renew it inside the app.The question is: how can we enable the user to essentially purchase both of these products with only one transaction?TIA!P.S. The app is being built in React Native for both iOS and Android, so solutions should ideally work with both the Apple and Google Play stores.

Why payment verification is so hard?

Hello,We are looking for ways to integrate RevenueCat to our payment process but we are having a bit hard time to understand why payment verification in the server side is so hard or are we missing something?For the context, we are selling digital goods and our backend server needs to verify payments before completing the purchase flow and unlock the items for use of the client. The only way to achieve this at the moment [1] is using RestAPI and calling ` /subscribers` endpoint [2] but this seems a bit fragile because:SDK returns all purchases (historically) for a product as an array, so client needs to iterate this array and find the corresponding revenueCatId of the purchase that is being made. Lets assume that the last item is the last purchase, so sending that to our backend-server. Our backend calls ` /subscribers` endpoint which returns all purchases for all products for a subscriber. "The product is already active for this user error" in the same device with different accounts and can't show virtual cards

Hello, I would like to know if you can help me.I am developing an app in react native, in which my authentication method is through oauth. Next, I register the user in revenueCat using the login method by passing the unique user uuid.Currently, I am experiencing two issues:The first one is regarding virtual cards.I have followed all the steps described in the guide, but from the user account when trying to make a subscription purchase, only my real cards linked to my play store account appear. I have been reading that perhaps this is what is causing the error and I should use the sandbox with a test user without real cards linked, which leads me to the second question. To test the functionality from user “A”, I purchased the monthly subscription. everything worked fine, but from the same device when switching to user account “B”, even changing the play store account, when trying to make a subscription purchase, the error "The product is already active for this user" appears. Multiple Subscription Problem

I am facing an issue with trying to understand how to set up my products. Let me detail out how the product would work. I am creating an app which offers paid, private communities, so you have the following entities;Hosts - the person who hosts the community Members - people who join the community Community - the actual communityI want to charge a monthly fee per community and depending on the number of members, lets say $5 a month for 100 members & $10 a month for 200 members. Ultimately, I would like to offer hosts the ability to purchase multiple communities of various sizes.A single host might;Have 1 community of 100 members  Have 2 communities of 200 membersErgo, the host would have 3 payments per month of $5, $10, $10 which is $25 per month. Context: i have an app live on google play.  everything works fine  i add a suffix to package name to create another flavor of the app  i publish this new app to closed testing and add a list of testers  i create new app on Revenue cat (same package name as my new flavor)  i add the same Service Account credentials JSON for new app as the one for existing live app where everything works fine  i added 2 products in revenueCat for this new app. the Identifier for each product is matching the Product ID on google play for that new app subscriptions. Free trial of Amazon subscription does not seem to be recognized by RevenueCat

I am taking an app implemented in Flutter from iOS and Android to Amazon Appstore. It seems to work also on Amazon apart from that Revenuecat does not recognize when I offer a free trial in the beginning of a subscription on Amazon. (On Google Play and Apple App Store it works without problem.) And I know that there indeed is a free trial enabled, because when I click the subscription the Amazon window tells me so too.Please make sure that RevenueCat do recognize free trials on subscriptions on Amazon when using Flutter.

Are prorated prices included in Webhooks and S3 exports?

I have a question about how RevenueCat outputs the price fields (price, price_in_purchased_currency) with actions that have proration. I can think of two scenarios where proration comes into effect:Android upgrades with IMMEDIATE_WITH_TIME_PRORATION iOS upgradesWhen these events occur we receive a webhook with details about the change. Does this webhook contain the full price of the new plan, or the prorated price? I am also wondering about the transactions that get exported into S3, but I’m guessing that answer is the same as the webhooks.As an example, say a users is paying $50 per month for a subscription. Half way through the billing period they upgrade to a subscription that is $100 per month. Is the `price` in the webhook going to be $75 (assuming the renewal date remains the same) or $100 (if it reports the full price of the new plan)? I’ve tried to test this out myself in Sandbox, but with the super quick renewal periods, it’s hard to say for certain what is going on.A similar

Receive transactions from the future AppStore webhook

Hi, I’m trying to keep a everyday history of the user, so I use webhook to determinate when is on trial, optout, billing issue, normal, renew, etc.I’m seeing some events from the future, for example I received an event that is a renewal trial convertion today at 8 PM, when we receive the event we fetch RevenueCat API, and it indicates that the user purchase date is tomorrow at 4 AM. This information is also like that in the webhook event itself:  "event_timestamp_ms": 1633207743275, → Saturday, 2 October 2021 20:49:03.275 "purchased_at_ms": 1633233485000, → Sunday, 3 October 2021 03:58:05 "is_trial_conversion": true, "type": "RENEWAL"The thing is now I’m setting on our internal db that the Saturday, 2 October the user change from trial to normal subscription with a purchase the date Sunday, 3 October.Now I don’t know when the user actually paid or when is a normal subscription.We could write that all was done the Sunday, 3 October, the thing is that at midnight I make a sn

when the user downloads the app, I want the App Store to display the subscription options there, which have to be selected to download.  I don’t have any “freemium” options, either you’re subscribed and access or not. Ideally there is no paywall. can this be achieved?

Issues on UserID when you don't have a Login system (Kotlin)

Hello there,I am trying to implement RevenueCat on my Android app which does not have a Login system.I was wondering in this case how do I manage the UserID to stay the same throughout app deletion, re-installations and across devices? On my iOS app I used NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore, so that it’s connected to the Apple ID and it works perfectly, but I can’t find a way on Kotlin. I tried the Auto Backup APIs, but while it works on the same device if I delete and re-install the app, it does not work across different devices with the same Google Account. I know that even if a new User ID is created the purchase will be transferred cause there is only one receipt, but is it correct that it sort of creates different users that bounce the purchase around? Thank you,Giada
