How can I obtain the configured discount percentage on Google Play?

I have a configured offer on Google Play with a 33 percent discount, and indeed, I receive the discounted value in the introPhase, but the number 33 does not come through anywhere. I had to calculate it, but I wouldn't want to do that. Is there any way to obtain the percentage of the discount being applied?

Create app through Developer API

I see with the new Developer API that we now have the ability to create products, entitlements, offerings, and packages. This is great, but I would really like to be able to also create a new app via the API. Also as part of this, I would need to then be able to get the public key for the newly created app in order to automate on my side. Are there any plans for adding the ability to create an app through the API in the near future?

Separate subscription groups for products when offering sale pricing? (iOS)

When creating multiple offerings (ie. for sales or A/B testing), I understand it’s recommended that iOS devs use separate subscription groups so that users only see one offering in iOS subscription management page. HOWEVER...Question: What happens when a current user reinstalls on a new device and hits “Purchase” instead of “Restore Purchases”? With the separate subscription groups approach, there is the chance they will be double-charged if get the “B offering” when they originally purchased the “A offering”, correct? 😬Comments? Suggestions? Thx.

Stripe billing error but finally charged - RC cancelled the subscription

Hello,We have a case where Stripe had a billing error, but after a few retries it managed to charge, however the RC customer panel shows contradictory information: the history reports as cancelled due to the billing error but the entitlements say it will renew.Stripe reports that the subscription will renew. So what is the truth here? 😅

An Apple Sandbox subscription purchase gives back an entitlement that expired a week ago on a new account.

How do I supress products (packages) already purchased when displaying an offering?

Hi all,I hope I am not asking a question that has already been answered, if so I couldn’t find the answer. My app has multiple one off in-app purchases. I would like to display these for purchase. If I add them all to an offering is there some way to exclude products (packages) that have already been purchased from the paywall when displaying the offering? Thanks L

I have two RevenueCat projects? Can I connect two separate stripe account to each one?

Hi everyone, I have two projects on one RevenueCat account. I don’t want to have products for the two websites on one Stripe account. So I created two Stripe accounts.I couldn’t find a way to add separate stripe accounts to each RevenueCat project, but Sharif wrote in this post: “we can manually connect one or two additional accounts”Did I understand it correctly? RevenueCat can manually connect a second Stripe account? If yes, what would you recommend?Let RevenueCat manually connect second Stripe account  or create a new RevenueCat account for the second Stripe account. So each one RC account would have one Stripe account. I hope you understand my problem description.

How do I properly make use of 'Restore Purchase'?

We set appUserId with custom id and invoke getCustomerInfo each time app is opened and set the state with info of either subscribed or not and unlock the pro content accordingly. So if you had previously uninstalled the app and reinstall, the invoke of getCustomerInfo would solve the issue of knowing whether subscribed or not.However app store wants you have ‘Restore Purchase’. How do I best use of this in this scenario?

Set up rule upgrade and downgrade subscription in Google play store

We have 2 plans: Plan A at $5/month or $100/year, and Plan B at $10/month or $200/year.In Google Console, I set up 2 subscriptions for Plan A and Plan B. Each subscription has 2 base plans, one for the monthly duration and one for the yearly duration. Is this correct?Can we set up 2 replacement modes where upgrading from Plan A to Plan B applies the CHARGE_PRORATED_PRICE mode, and downgrading from Plan B to Plan A applies the DEFERRED mode? This rule is used by default when I set up in the Apple Store. Is it possible to have different replacement modes, or can we only apply one replacement mode?

Receiving 'Trial Conversion' events 8 hours before the actual conversion??

Hi,I’ve recently launched my app with subscriptions and I’ve received a couple of ‘trial start’ events and I’ve noticed a strange thing. If I go to the customer profile I can see a ‘Converted from trial’ event 8 hours before the actual event. Is this intended? If so, how does RC knows that the customer will convert, what if there is a billing issue?RegardsErol

Wrong Trial Date in Android

hi,I have an app that offers both Light and Pro subscriptions.A user subscribed to the Light subscription on 08.10.2022. Today, the user upgraded to the Pro subscription. The Pro subscription comes with a 3-day trial period. However, I've noticed that the expires_date is now set to approximately 18 days. Could someone explain this to me?

"Empty products" page moved?

Hi, what happened to the very very good tutorial here https://support.revenuecat.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041793174 about troubleshooting empty product list? Now it redirects to a very short post of the forum with missing images and with very few informations   The previous article was very good, at least fix the missing images.

Revenuecat API fetches data in local development builds (and Expo Go) but does not fetch any data with Test Flight

I build local development builds and the Revenuecat API works fine. Even with Expo Go, Revenuecat works fine, but it does not load data from Revenuecat when submitted to Test Flight and installed on my iPhone. How do i prevent a new alias from being created when a user restores their subscription?

I am using RevenueCat's Flutter SDK to manage user subscriptions in my app. For associating user content in my database, I rely on the initial anonymous user ID generated by RevenueCat since i do not want to have to setup user accounts.There is an issue though when a user deletes the app and reinstalls it, or installs the app on a new device and restores their purchase, RevenueCat generates a new Alias instead of using the original anonymous id. This is a problem because there is a maximum limit of 50 aliases.Is there a way to make it so when the user restores a purchase it uses the original Anonymous App User ID instead of creating a new one? Users with new phones - subscriptions

HeyIm using subscriptions for both ios and google play through revenuecatToday an androud user reported that he has a new phone and the app keep saying he doesnt have any subscriptions. He is still on the same gmail-account as he did the purchase / subscription withI thought the subscription was following the user and not the device? Thanks for any help :)

Is data collected and stored even if no subscription is purchased?

I want to make a simple and reassuring statement about data/privacy in my app’s help screen and I’m wondering if data storage is the same regardless of whether a subscription is purchased or not. Is RevenueCat still collecting and storing data for a user who has not purchased a subscription?Thanks.

In a nutshell, same story as in the other post, but now I'm hitting the 14000 limit as well. E.g. in English:I would not say it's too much info, especially given that Google would not approve the app without this extra info.

What happens if a user upgrade subscription on active offer/promo?

If a user redeemed an offer code that gives them a 1-year free trial and then upgrades their subscription (through purchase or redeem another offer code) when the offer/promo is still active, what will happen to their previous offer? Do they get a refund?

Why is managementURL at top level in customerInfo?

I am using react native and looking at the customerInfo object, it seems that managementURL is at the top level. I am wondering why it is not inside each entitlement maybe or a better place to account for multiple purchases on different platforms..Example, if I log into the app on Android and make a purchase, then also login on iOS and make another purchase, wouldn’t I need 2 managementURLs (one for each store)?

Viewing expired customers: list shows customers who have NOT yet expired?

Hi - I’m using a custom customer list (app.revenuecat.com/lists) to try to detect customers whose subscription to a certain product has expired. My filters are: All customers (Slower)Latest Product contains ‘[my product here]’Status is ExpiredEmail is null (likely irrelevant to my question) My problem is that this list regularly contains customers whose subscription hasn’t actually expired! The list will say ‘status: expired’ for all of them, but for many of them when I click in to the specific customer, it shows (accurately) that their entitlement for the product in question is NOT expired, and will renew soon. (The ‘entitlements’ section says ‘Subscription renews on [date]’). If I check the list again after that date passes, the customer is no longer on the ‘expired’ list. I think (but am not 100% sure) that this is happening when the customer is within 24 hours of renewing? Like it marks them as ‘expired’ when they’re 24 hours away from an auto-renewal, then after that 24 hours, it

Can I purchase more than one item under a product

I have different items using a particular product(non consumable), So users can purchase items under that product(price). But after the first purchase on an item. iand I try to initate a purchae on another item, I get  You’ve already purchased this. Would you like to get it again for free?

Limited free access to non-subscribed users

We have a premium product which we already offer a free trial period on, which auto-subscribes for a year at the end of the trial period.We are hoping to set up an “open day” for the app where our paywall is dropped for a day (or a small number of days). The logic is that all users will get the full experience of our premium app and not have the barrier of entering their card details. Does anyone have experience of implementing this (or something similar)?
