How to download entitlements for backend?

We’ve been using RevenueCat entitlements client-side with some success. That’s great.We’re now trying to integrate this with our backend to control the nature of the push notifications we do and do not send (and/or what the content of that push notification is).Yes, we have the webhook set up, and that works fine. But how do we sync our backend with the RevenueCat entitlements to, effectively, catch up on which users are already entitled? (I don’t really want to know the individual subscription/product for which people have signed up, just who is entitled to what.)There are endpoints to query a particular user, but that seems horribly inefficient to say “hey, we want to do a push for these thousands of members, so let’s query them, one at a time, to see if they still have that entitlement.” There is a CSV download for customers, but that does not appear to have all the entitlements in it. (Also, that “CSV” is actually semicolon delimited. What’s up with that?)So, bottom line, is there

No entitlements after successful purchases

We've discovered a very strange case in our app.Here's what we do:Our mobile app makes a purchase and sends a base64-encoded receipt file to our server. We send it to the /v1/receipt endpoint. We check the entitlements that are returned in the response, and we also respond to events from RevenueCat to manage access to our service.For some users, the following has occurred (user #1, user #2):/v1/receipt returned empty entitlements. No events from RevenueCat for this user have come in. How can I force close the purchase sheet on mobile on a timeout or in general?

Hello,I'm working on a Flutter app with an in-app purchases. I'm looking for a solution to automatically close the purchase sheet after a specified amount of time. I’ve dug around and there doesn’t appear to be any obvious way of closing the sheet?Just in general it doesn’t seem there is any way of closing the app, causing the sheet to stay open indefinitely even if the user signs out or background the app, until they click the “x” or just outside the sheet.  Thank you!

'Transfer to new App User ID' + syncPurchases() = Good enough?

If I'm using the 'Transfer to new App User ID' Restore Purchase Behaviour, is just calling syncPurchases() after I call Purchases.configure() a reasonable course of action?I could put a button there and do a proper restore, but if I’m presuming that the user is just going to hit the button anyway, doesn’t syncPurchases() save them the trouble?Many thanks.

service account roles

The docs at https://meet.google.com/ayp-nghg-vfj?hs=146&authuser=1 say that I should add the roles “Pub/Sub Admin” and “Monitoring Viewer”, but I don’t see those in the list of available roles. How can I add those roles?

Determine if the purchase was subscription or consumable

Hi! I’m fairly new (started today) to using Revenue Cat so I may have missed it in the plethora of documentation. Slack server sends too many messages

We use Slack message server, but it sends too many messages everyday. When we click the customer id to see his purchase history, we notice that he has subscribed before we add RevenueCat SDK in our app. So how can we stop getting these old customers’ messages, only get new purchases’ messgaes?

Failed to connect to api.revenuecat.com/54.92.158.15:443

One of my customers is getting this error: “Failed to connect to api.revenuecat.com/54.92.158.15:443” When I try to ping the IP address from my local machine, the request times out. Any ideas what might be causing this issue? Is the revenuecat API down? Or perhaps API IP changed but DNS issue?

Duplicate store_transaction_id in transaction exports

Hi I'm having problem with raw data which I get from Revenucat. If I talk about this problem, the data is coming in dublicated. store_transaction_id that occur in one day are dublicated. Actually, that day is happening and I think store_transaction_id should be singular value for unique users. So what am I missing? Webhook BILLING_ISSUE from Apple

How many days before renewal (expiration date)can a BILLING_ISSUE event come from Apple?In Apple's documentation they say that they try to see if there is a problem with a payment with the customer 10 days before and 24 hours beforetry to renew the customer's subscription several times.I was in doubt if I can receive a BILLING_ISSUE 10 days before that period or if it would only be within 24 hours before.

Apple Rejction When Purchase

In the past 3 days we have updated for apple review but they keep rejecting them. purchasePackage throw "There was a problem with the App Store", i tried to ingore this message. purchasePackage return Succeed but entitlement is empty The subscription was successful without going through the payment process. but  my app don't get any exception

Amazon IAP

Hello, I’m having some difficulties with Amazon IAP and I’m wondering if I could use Revenue Cat to fix my problems… Only thing is, I downloaded the amazon zip and i’m very confused about it lol. How do i use this? I was trying to make IAP on my Amazon Firestick app with Unity, but it’s not getting any callbacks. App Tester says “Purchased” in the transactions, but it never fulfills the purchase. Nor does it call the purchase failed callback… If someone could help me either get revenue cat working or if someone has any insight into what i might be doing wrong that’d be great. I’ve been wondering if maybe I’m just not debugging it correctly, maybe the IAP works and App Tester is messing up or something. Why was a subscription charged 3 days later?

Hi, I’ve observed some strange behaviour.A customer supposedly started a subscription on October 15 (3 days ago), and today they were charged for it. Since there’s no free trial period, what explains this 3-day float between subscription and payment?I dug into the user’s timeline in Mixpanel, and here’s what I found:Oct 15: signs up and attempts purchase 3 times, and cancelled each time by the user Oct 18: user opens app and restores purchase (note: MP has no record of purchase events for this user) Oct 18: RC reports new revenue for subscription started on Oct 15 (my question: why did this revenue take 3 days?)Some possible explanations I can think of:Maybe the customer started a subscription from the App Store subscription page on Oct 15 and didn’t open the app until Oct 18, which is when RC was able to detect the purchase. Maybe there’s a reporting/customer history bug in RC? Maybe Apple has some arcane/obscure deferred payment plan that I’m not familiar with.Does anyone know what c

Breaking change not reflected in changelog and SDK version, GitHub issue auto-ignored

I filed this issue in the github flutter repo, but was informed that no human will look at it because “the template was changed”.The template is entirely irrelevant to the content of the ticket, because the issue is related to the way the project itself is maintained.Please do not ignore issues just because the flutter doctor output is not attached, there are plenty of cases where this is just a waste of everybody’s time.

Issue getting products that aren't in the "current" offerings.

Hello,I have previously implemented RevenueCat subscriptions usingPurchases.shared.getOfferings { offerings, error in   if let offer = offerings?.current, error == nil { currentOffering = offer }}I am now trying to show a different set of upgraded offerings if the specific user already has our base level subscription. I  have reviewed the documentation for displaying packages, but there no examples on how to go from fetching a package and getting to a product for purchase. I have tried to integrate the following code: Purchases.shared.getOfferings { (offerings, error) inif let packages = offerings?.offering(identifier: "not the current offerings")?.package(identifier: "Monthly") {// Display packages for sale}}But I don’t know how to display packages, or select them for purchasing. Does sandbox reset the linked appUserID after fewdays?

We have set the Transferring purchases seen on multiple App User IDs option toKeep with original App User ID. We are testing with the sandbox user. Here is the scenario : 1. User A do the signup with device A and make the purchase so device A’s playstore account linked with User A. 2. Now At the same time if User B tries to purchase in device A it fails as expected and purchase remains with User A. 3. After 2-3 days if we try with User B, it allows and purchase get successful and device A is now linked with User B. Which in this case should not allowed. By setting the option to Keep with original App User ID. it should not allowed this. We are testing it in sandbox and we wanted to make sure this never happens in production.

Is RevenueCat’s pricing calculated before or after VAT?

I’m looking at moving my app to RevenueCat but I’m wondering how the Pro plan pricing is calculated when it comes to VAT?(Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, I can’t find it) Is the 1% of MTR calculated from:(Price + VAT) * 0.01 Price * 0.01 (Price + VAT)*(1-store_commission_rate) * 0.01 Something elseNumber 3 is my revenueNumber 2 is mine + Apple’s/Google’s revenueNumber 1 is mine + Apple’s/Google’s + the government’s revenue. In Europe number 3 is often 60-70% of number 1. So if RevenueCat calculates pricing based on number 1 then it is more like 1.5-1.7% of my actual revenue. Which may still be reasonable but something I would like to know when I compare alternatives.

Is it save to show the App User ID to the user?

Is it save to show the App User ID to the users in the app or does that hold any potential for abuse? My app uses anonymous IDs only. When users contact me for support, I can’t link their email addresses to their RevenueCat profiles. I was thinking about showing the App User ID to my users in the app so they can append it if they contact me. Is that safe or not a good idea?  Looking forward to your answers.

Example of Package / Offering / Entitlement shape

I’m in the process of writing React-Native components that should display the details of a package. For this reason I am interested in knowing which fields are available on a Package object when received via an offering - so that I can model my data correctly. I have looked through the documentation and searched through community posts, but have not found what I’m looking for. Is it not available or have I just not succeeded in searching properly? I think all developers working with RevenueCat would benefit from having some kind of documentation for the shape of packages, offerings, and entitlements - so that we can code without actually accessing these data points in our projects.

What happens when you add an entitlement to an existing subscription?

We are working through our integration with Revenue Cat for in-app subscriptions.  We’re planning to use webhooks to keep our database up to date with users’ entitlements.  What happens if we add an entitlement to an existing subscription?  Will the webhooks be called for existing users?  If we update the user status with the rest API, will the new entitlements be reflected in that response? Thanks!!
