Unwanted purchase transfer after buy new subscription

I have a problem using RevenueCat on IOS.When I login user A account and link it to RevenueCate. And Then Buy Package A. On the same phone, I logout account A then login account B and the buy Package B, but the list of entitlements returned entitlements A and B.In this case, Can we link Package A to account A and Package B to account B?

Can not delete customers

I have two customers showing up in my sandbox customer list but I can’t delete them.When I click on them, they don’t pull up but they still show up in the list.How do I contact support to help me delete these customers that refuse to go away?Another post says it could take up to an hour but it’s been over a day.

Multiple Subscription Buttons SwiftUI

Hi all! The iOS SDK has become impossible to mock in v4

The new revenue cat v4 SDK for iOS is very difficult if not impossible to mock for unit testing purposes. Some of the contributing factors that make mocking difficult are:The majority of classes like Offerings, Offering, Package, etc are marked as final so they can’t be subclassed. So something like class MockOfferings: Offerings {} cannot be done. The majority of initializers for classes like Offerings, Offering, Package are internal so they cannot be called from outside the packageThese issues are blocking upgrading to v4 since it breaks all the existing unit tests without a new way to fix them. Is there any sample code available that successfully mocks the RevenueCat SDK?

Are Android subscribers required to pay sales tax in some states?

We have noticed that Android subscribers in certain states are being charged sales tax on their subscription. For example, our monthly set price is $6.99, but the subscriber is being charged $7.48 ($.49 in tax). Does anyone know if this is related to us setting up business/tax documents wrong, or if Android users need to pay sales tax based on their state laws? We are providing a basic subscription app service and not selling digital goods. I have tried editing the tax settings in Google Play, but some states are uneditable so Google’s preset is taking priority. Thanks for any assistance here!

Can't find Issuer ID on App Store Connect for implementing iOS Offer Codes

My view on App Store ConnectI am currently trying to implement Offer Codes in my application. I read here that in order for Offer Codes to work with RevenueCat, I would need to upload an In-App Purchase Key. I followed the steps to create and download an In-App Purchase Key, but when uploading it, RevenueCat needs an Issuer ID. The documentation here states that the Issuer ID can be found by going to Users and Access->Keys->App Store Connect API. I did that and requested to access the App Store Connect API (as instructed in the RC documentation) but after doing so, I still can’t see an Issuer ID (see image attached). Where can this be found? It seems that App Store Connect has maybe changed some things. Do I have to create an App Store Connect API as well as the In-App Purchase Key? If so, will this App Store Connect API Key only be used for RevenueCat? And, if I do need to create an App Store Connect API Key, what level of access should I give it (see image) ? How do I add Maestro payment options to in-app purchases?

Hey boys and girls!  I’m quite new to app development and just launched my first app on the app stores with the help of Revenuecat for offering in-app purchases.  I’m located in the Netherlands and noticed that Maestro cards (debit cards) are not available for the in-app purchase, does anyone know why so and how I’m able to fix it? Thanks for taking the time to read this! Hope someone can help me.

User sees only 1 of 2 subscription prices, how to get approval on App Store

I’m submitting an update that add subscriptions. We offer full price, and sale price. A user only sees 1 at a time, controlled by our logic. So when Apple tests, they will only see full price.Do you have any advice how to get Apple to approve? I’m concerned that they will reject the subscription at the sale price that they won’t be able to see in the app. (This is an app that already has many approved IAPs.)Do I need to submit with 1 of the subscription IAPs, get approval, and then submit again with the other subscription IAP? (I can control server side which price point they see.)thanksMark J

introPrice.periodNumberOfUnits returning 7 on iOS

Hi there,We have started seeing a really weird issue on our production app since about mid April where sometimes the offering data is returning 7 under the introPrice.periodNumberOfUnits value for ios. As far as I understand it is impossible to get a 7 for this value from the app store because Apple only offer certain distinct introductory offers as shown in the screenshot I sent. Currently for the product being displayed it should be a 1 week free trial and some of the time it is returning 1 as expected but sometimes it returns 7. This started happening after no changes on our side suddenly about in the middle of April (according to our data). I was wondering if your team has been making any changes around this as we just dispplay the value that we get from Revenuecat SDK, we don’t fiddle with it or hardcode any values.Thanks,Lyia

Subscription gone after uninstalling the app?

Hi,If Ive an auto-renewable subscription and uninstall the app. after reinstalling again the sheet to subscribe pops up. Is that correct? And if you assumed again click on subscribe that the money isnt debited?And when Im testing, the subscription of my app isnt displayed in the Apple ID under Subscription. Is this all correct and is this only due to testing?

Hi all, I could not find much information regarding syncPurchases in SwiftUI.I am releasing a big upgrade to my app and have changed my RC SDK from V3 to V4 to take advantage of StoreKit2To make the transition smooth I wish to sync my users purchases and am doing so via my AppNameApp.swift file .onAppear method.is calling Purchases.shared.syncPurchases {} on the first launch of my upgraded version sufficient for this? Thanks so much

Migrate to revenueCat

I am in process of migrating to RevenueCatif I do not import data from my old system what will happen with all my users as they open the new app for the first time. Will they have to resubscribe to in app purchases or will revenueCat see there is a existing in app subscription and allow them to use the app.    in the case of question 1  would they have the option to restore there purchase or will it automatically pull in there purchasesIf I import data what data is required. If I need user Id would this be the id provided by apple or id generated from my server [Support edit: Updated the title and description to improve the search]

Share IAPs between macOS and tvOS

I have a macOS app which sells for $24.99 (for the app itself – no subscription involved). I have a tvOS app which sells for $4.99 (for the app itself – no subscription involved). They both have IAPs which sell for between $2.99 and $16.99 on both macOS and tvOS. They are effectively the same subscription for real-time weather data and cost the same on either platform. I want to sell the apps separately, but if they subscribe in one, I want the other to be able to recognize and use the subscription. How can I make this works since there is no “universal” app. The macOS and tvOS versions must be purchased separately, but I want them to share IAPs.

Why does Play Store subscription price differ between devices? (internal testing)

I’m finding that different devices show my subscription price differently - some with sales tax included and some without. This is with internal testing. The displayed value is taken from product.price_string.The full story: I had set my app’s Play Store in-app subscription price to the same as I had on App Store (3.49 GBP) and it showed up with that value on my phone using the same Google account that’s associated with my developer account. Then I tried it on another phone using a different (licensed tester) account and it showed 4.19 GBP (it added the UK sales tax). So I dropped my price to 2.90 GBP so that it would add the 20% sales tax and be displayed at 3.48 GBP. Afterwards the second phone showed 3.49 GBP (not quite the 3.48 GBP I expected) and my phone showed 2.90 GBP which I kind of expected because at that point I was guessing my account is treated differently. But then a friend tried another phone (different account but also a licensed tester) and it showed the lower 2.90 GB

Can an iOS purchase failure be forced in order to test error handling?

I have an AppStore Connect “Sandbox Test User” account with “INTERRUPTED PURCHASES” enabled; This user is signed into the simulator’s iCloud account (I’m using XCode StoreKit file), however the purchase is still successfully being processed. This project is using the RevenueCat 4.0.0 swift package for integration.Does RevenueCat offer its own method to manufacture/force a failed purchase? Is there something else that must be done to flex error handling code? I plan to attempt the same as above on a physical device as soon as I regain access to my test device… but is that mandatory for purchase interruption to work?

Logic and/or workflow of RevenueCat subscription status

Hello all, i am new to the app space. I used a no code app software and I completed my app. The last part is the subscription part. The subscription is for use of the entire app. So here’s where I need help oe guidance:Flow:-User downloads my app in Appstore or Google PlayStore.-They set up an account.-Payment wall opens and they pay.Heres the help that I need to understand: How do I update user info to show they paid so they can have access, and when they cancel, they wont have access? Do i use a webhook to accomplish this?Can anyone explain a webhook and how to use it. I think my understanding of webhooks is my missing link. So right now, i can manually update a user profile and enter “true” for their entitlement. Then I can get a notification showing cancellation, then manually enter a “false.”This is no problem if i have 20-40 subscribers. If I have 1000, then this is a huge problem. Can anyone share any advice or knowledge, thanks.

I get charges from Apple almost everyday for my Apple Search Ads. Anyone know how to change it so that I only get charged once a month? It’s just annoying to sort through and categorize all those charges in my accounting. Thanks!

How to share RC accounts between Mobile and Windows standalone

My team is currently looking into porting our Android and iOS app to a Windows standalone version (eg. for Steam), and I was wondering what the options are for communication between mobile and standalone. For example, a user would download our app on Android and start a subscription. Later, the user would download our port for Windows (logging back into his original account) and now wants to continue accessing his subscription features.

Having trouble initiating payment UI for monthly subscription

I am trying to implement a monthly subscription as part of an in-app purchase. I am using a combination of xcode/swift and RevenueCat to implement this feature. In implementing the code that runs when the user clicks the purchase button i get the error saying "Fatal error: NSArray element failed to match the Swift Array Element typeExpected Package but found RCPackage". Where the code for the purchase button click is highlighted. Code is "guard let package = offerings.all.first?.value.availablePackages.first ".I am not sure what to do to fix this issue.
