Getting receipt and other subscription parameters

I want to integrate with Adjust, and I want to do so the easy way (I would prefer not to be made to jump through whatever obstacle course that the RevenueCat integration entails):Is there an easy way for me to fetch the receipt from the client (right after a subscription has been made and approved), as well as also doing the same kind of thing on Android?If there isn’t, I would have to assume that this is purposefully avoided so as to make migration harder, and that in the process of making migration harder you are also making other things harder.

Incoherence about expiration date for INITIAL_PURCHASE webhook event on PLAY STORE

We are trying to keep the same entitlement state of our users in our own database, and we're using webhooks for that. It's globally working well, except for a case where we found that the `expiration_at_ms` is not giving us the correct expiration date, for a TRIAL in a "INITIAL_PURCHASE" event, only for ANDROID.Please check screenshot attached:on the user page, you can see that the user subscribed to a trial on April 21st, on the top right you can see him having the "pro" entitlement until 2023/05/08. when we click on the "started a trial" line, we check the webhook event, the expiration_at_ms value is `1682357863507` corresponding to `Monday, 24 April 2023 17:37:43.507`, which is the info we have in our DB. Why are the 2 dates so different ? This is the only event that is triggered to us. As it is only happening with Android, is there a bug for android or an additional thing we need to do to set this up correctly ?

ASA attribution not working for one of our campaigns (works for everything else)

We recently set up Apple search ad’s attribution through revenuecat and started testing new campaigns. For all of our campaigns except one the tracking has been great and super helpful. However for one of our campaigns that has been spending ~$75/day for the last two weeks there is zero data on it.. Very odd. Has anyone encountered something similar/have any solution ideas?

RevenueCat and Stripe one-time purchases

I am struggling to get RevenueCat to automatically sync/recognise one-time purchases from Stripe Checkout.I have a Flutter app for both iOS and web (Firebase backend), and after significant work (writing custom conditional code for the Web logic...) have subscriptions working for both iOS and Web, integrated with RevenueCat. Customers can subscribe either as an IAP on iOS or using Stripe if on the Web app, and the subscription entitlement is managed by RevenueCat.But… user’s also need the ability to make one-time purchase of consumable credits. On iOS this is handled as an IAP that RevenueCat syncs, pushing the successful transaction event to my Firestore Function so I can track the credit balance.For one-time purchases via the Web app, Stripe Checkout successfully completes yet ReveneCat appears unaware of the transaction! Unlike for Stripe-managed subscription transactions there does not seem to be any automatic syncing or notification to RC of the one-time purchase.So far I have tri

Google Cloud Account Cost

So I have everything connected and working and I just recieved a notice that my trial is ending with Google Cloud. I am assuming this is the cost associated with the service account that was linked to Revenue Cat? Trying to find more information about this to better explain to my client

Get Retention rate and LTV via API

Hi Team, We have a client for whom we are looking to integrate RevenueCat APIs to get some stats.  Can someone please confirm if it is possible to get Retention rate and LTV as shown in the below screenshot via API?  I did go through API documentation however wasn’t able to find relevant API.Inputs or workaround on this would really be helpful. If there are other stats accessible via API which can be used to derive LTV and Retention rate, that would also be helpful.Thank you!

MixPanel Integration Issues: Not sending Initial Purchase

Hello!Me and my team just realized that the event rc_initial_purchase_event that is saved on MixPanel with the integration is not sending information when a new subscription has been purchased or a lapsed user has resubscribed. This is critical because we are not saving any information of this to our main source of truth. Whats happening? We've lost months of information in MixPanel that we need. Unable to test Webhooks

Hi there,I was testing webhooks for an endpoint, which I created on my server. But when I am testing the Webhooks at that time I am having a problem. Google Analytics integration for web events

Hi, We are using RevenueCat to centralize all payment-related events for our app and our website. For web, we connected Stripe, and it’s working well. We can see the web events activity in RevenueCat Dashboard and Amplitude but we would like to track them in Google Analytics and we can’t find a proper way to do it. We have tested the Segment integration but Google Analytics is not attributing the events to users. It is just sending all the events from RevenueCat (app+web) without the right parameters (i.e: browser = segment.io instead of the right browser, no source attribution,...). Are we missing something or is it just not possible to send web RevenueCat events to Google Analytics? Thanks for your help

Appsflyer Trial events for android

Dear Community,we are currently using RC for our subscribermanagement (full integration) and Appsflyer as attribution provider. Both Services are integrated in our app but until now we only had instagram paid ads for our native ios-App. We now want to use ads for our native android app. The goal event for our ads is the start of a trial. We have a monthly, quarterly and yearly subscription.I'm facing the issue, that our CMO asks for AF-Events with 3 different names depending what kind of subscription trial was started. As far as I know the RC to AF Integration is insufficient for that, because each trial start irrespectibly of the subscriptiontype sends the "Trial started event" (default name: rc_trial_started_event) to AF.Therefore I need to write code, that sends these 3 Events to AF. Transfer Events Not called when transferring from anonymous user id

Scenario:User installs application User makes a purchase User creates an account, logs in, and then calls identify on RevenueCat User restores purchases to transfer purchases to newly created accountExpect Series of Webhook EventsINITIAL_PURCHASE event is sent to webhook upon completing step 2. TRANSFER event is sent to webhook upon completing step 4. Actual Series of Webhook EventsINITIAL_PURCHASE event is sent to webhook upon completing step 2.Use Case: Given that a user can make a subscription before creating an account, we rely on the RevenueCat webhook to give us a Transfer event when a user restores purchases after creating their account. CleverTap Integration - target users by subscription level

hi there, we just setup an integration to CleverTap but are getting very limited in using CleverTap to the best of it’s abilities due to what RevenueCat sends. See below WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO DOIn CleverTap we would like to be able to target all users that have a specific subscription status say, all monthly subscribers or all subscribers who have cancelled WHAT RC SENDS TO CTRC sends each subscription event as “Events” and has the details of the subscription in the event properties of CleverTap REQUEST FOR CHANGEWe would love to be able to send user properties to CT and define the different user properties and send them based on the RC events. This way we can have user properties in CT, which would make it possible for us to target users

How do you change the free trial periode on an active subscription?

We would like to test changing the duration of the free trial on our active subscription. However, when trying to do so I get this error message:“This subscription has been migrated from a legacy subscription and is read-only”.  Does any of you have a similar issue? I appreciate your help.

GDPR: should the customer history populated from the Firebase integration be deleted?

Hi, In order to conform with GDPR, when a user deletes his account, should we also delete the data populated in Firestore by the RevenueCat extension i.e data populated in the “events” and “customers” collections?For instance, I could easily delete “/customers/{app_user_ids}” documents but it gets tricky when I need to delete “/customers/{$RCAnonymousIDS}” documents because I would need to do a search in all these documents to target the ones that contain an “alias” to the app_user_id in question. Similarly, I would need to do the same for the “events” collection and i was wondering if I could avoid doing that and just not delete any of the data in “customers” and “events” collections and still comply with GDPR, could you please clarify? Br, Nader

Why does GB in-app subscription results in 12.17% tax_percentage (VAT) from webhook?

Hi,We’re seeing events from the Revenue Cat webhook whilst in Sandbox mode (before go-live) where a subscription or renewal flows through with 12.17% `tax_percentage`. Can anyone explain why that might be? I would expect 20% VAT? Help Mee! Android subscripiton product id and ios product id is different ?

Hi,I am adding a subscription for an app in the play store. Android and ios ids must be the same on our side. But when adding android subscription, we add it period and the product id is created automatically, but the android and ios ids are different, how can we solve this problem?Subscription is on auto-renewal. We have added a subscription before, but we did not encounter such a problem. Is it good to sync Stripe and RevenueCat entitlements via Firebase extensions?

I have an iOS app which uses the RevenueCat Swift SDK and an web app which uses Stripe. Both apps are powered by Firebase as the backend. I want to sync the subscriptions between them. I installed Firebase extensions for RevenueCat and Stripe. Both extensions set custom authentication claims in the user’s access token. Is that a good way to sync purchases?Are there any other easy ways to sync the purchases? (by easy I mean little or zero backend work).Another option I’m exploring is to setup a listener for user document in Firestore, which is updated by both the extensions (RevenueCat and Stripe). So when any changes happen to that document, I can update the subscription info in the apps.  PS: Actually, having to write backend code to sync purchases between web and iOS makes me think the purpose of using RevenueCat is lost.

Purchase Class is null

I’m using expo with EAS. Both in production and expo it throws errors saying the Purchase Class is null and thus no functions exist on it. My IDE says it the class is imported and i can call the functions. Typescript says everything is fine. Can someone help me?I installed the react-native-purchases package multiple times and cleared Caches as well.

I want to try some things to analyze my apps data with RevenueCat API, but I haven't found enough endpoints from your Rest API documentation.For example, I haven't found an endpoint to fetch my RevenueCat projects etc. How can I see all the public endpoints for RevenueCat endpoints.

How to detect a subscription is in billing retry (60 days)?

I viewed Apple's docs and saw the information about billing retry (60 days), but not in RevenueCat. I want to know how to detect a subscription is in billing retry (60 days)? Is Billing_issue when payment is failed before billing retry? Is Expiration when subscription is officially expired (after 60 days retry)?

Does RevenueCat Handle Calls to SkAdnetwork

Hi,  I use both Branch and RevenueCat in my app. I’m setting up Branch to talk with the SkAdnetwork. In the Branch Docs it says the following: In the SKAdNetwork Config section of the Branch dashboard, select the YES radio button to have the Branch SDK handle all calls to SKAdNetwork.Do NOT opt-in if you decide to:Integrate directly with SKAdNetwork and call the SKAdNetwork functions natively. Use another 3rd party library to handle your app's interactions with SKAdNetwork. Before I opt in, I wanted to make sure this wouldn’t interfere with any RevenueCat Features.

Is it possible to activate a subscription for free? Or pay for it on the user's behalf? (Useful for bundles with physical objects)

Hello!I am evaluating whether to use RevenueCat or not into my next app, and it is my first time using a subscription model. I plan to sell a service subscription either:- As a standalone product (through the app)- Bundled with a physical product sold through ShopifyWhile the former is a common RevenueCat use case, I am not sure on how to achieve the latter. I understand that RevenueCat’s business model consists in withholding a percentage of the subscription cost encountered by the user on the app store, thus I don’t think I can simply create a new subscription for zero cost through the API (correct me if I am wrong).If that’s the case, what if I pay for a new subscription on a user’s behalf by using the revenues from the Shopify purchase? In my specific case, the user could use the app itself for activating the subscription after the purchase, but he should be able to activate it for free (as he already paid for it). Is it thus possible for my business to pay the subscription on his

How to integrate with AppsFlyer without IDFA

Hi,I’m trying to configure AppsFlyer and RevenueCat.  And I’m getting following errors in the console:[Purchases] - ERROR: 😿‼️ Error when syncing subscriber attributes. Details: The operation couldn’t be completed. (RevenueCat.BackendError error 0.) [Purchases] - ERROR: 😿‼️ One or more of the attributes sent could not be saved. ["$idfv": "IDFV cannot be modified.", "$appsflyerId": "AppsFlyer ID cannot be modified."] If I understand correctly, the AppsFlyer ID will be generated every time a user installs a new app. As users use multiple devices, I think this error will occur for every user who uses two or more devices. If this is the case, why is it shown as an error? Alternatively, how can I configure AppsFlyer and RevenueCat so that the AppsFlyer ID is unique? It seems impossible without IDFA

Can I determine whether a subscription is valid only based on Firestore data registered with Firebase Extension?

Hello,I'm trying to monitor the validity of subscriptions based on data in Firestore using Firebase Extension.
