How to handle UNKNOWN_BACKEND_ERROR - attribute_errors ?

Offerings are empty in developer build, but all new identifiers match up

This seems to be a common ask for help, but Purchases.getOfferings() is not working for me with the error `None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from App Store Connect`. It’s a situation like this other thread (among others), but I think I’ve double-checked all the things to watch out for.Specifically, I had RevenueCat working with my app, which right now is in beta so at most some folks are testing it via Testflight - RevenueCat could retrieve the products then. I then decided to create a dev version of my app using a different bundle ID so that I could simultaneously have the Testflight version and the Expo development build on my phone.Now, Purchases.getOfferings() is working fine on the Testflight version (which has my original bundle ID) but not on my development version (with the new bundle ID). Subscription promotional offer and StoreKit testing on iOS

I’m trying to use StoreKit testing to test purchase of a promotional offer on a subscription product. I can purchase the initial subscription, but when I come to purchase the promotional offer I see the following error: [Purchases] - DEBUG: PaymentQueue updatedTransaction: redacted (null) (Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=12 "(null)" UserInfo={NSUnderlyingError=0x600001f34390 {Error Domain=ASDServerErrorDomain Code=3903 "The server encountered an error" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=The server encountered an error}}}) (null) - 2 From what I can see, code 12 is a problem with the signature generated for the `SKPaymentDiscount`. Since generation of the signature is handled by the RevenueCat SDK, what are the options for me to fix the problem? I have uploaded the public certificate to my RevenueCat dashboard. Maybe related: there is “Subscription Offers Key” also in Xcode that isn’t used in any way. Perhaps there is some missing configuration in RevenueCat for promotional offers and St

Purchase info returned by SDK incorrect

Users of our Android app are seeing incorrect subscription information. Using SDK version 4.3.0. When debugging this issue we discovered that when calling Purchases.sharedInstance.getPurchaserInfoWith() the function sometimes returns incorrect data. It seems caching logic does not work correctly. For instance the function returns the PurchaseInfo object below when calling it now (nov 24th 20:53 GMT). The request date is 4 days off and there is no firstSeen date. What is causing "There is another request in flight trying to perform the same action"?

"No Products Registered" Error after updating to Purchases-iOS 3.12.7

I updated my Swift dependencies in SPM from 3.12.4 to 3.12.7. After I update, I get the “no products registered” error below. Nothing has changed in App Store Connect or in RevenueCat. This version of the application is not configured for billing through Google Play. check the help center for more information.

I’ve implemented revenuecat for in-app purchase with google play. I’ve done all steps carefully, but when purchasing in testing mode, it gives this error “This version of the application is not configured for billing through Google Play. check the help center for more information”. I have wasted more than a month solving this error. Nothing works for me. Please help.Thanks!

iOS 15 GetPurchaserInfo() empty

Hi as some users might have already posted, since upgrading one of my device to iOS 15, GetPurchaserInfo returns null. Rebooting the phone and running the app again will work but on renewal it will once again return null. All is well on iOS 14. Still using code from demo app https://github.com/RevenueCat/purchases-flutter/blob/master/example/lib/main.dart. Any idea of a fix.. ? RevenueCat Implementation with Unity

So I’m getting ready to launch our company app that features a paid subscription model. The app is built in Unity and we’ve been testing the features through testflight for the last few months now. A few weeks ago I looked into the advantages of using RevenueCat to manage the subscription side of the app. Below are a few questions and issues I’m having and wondering if anyone can help me.I’ve gone through the step-by-step guide on how to implement RevenueCat into my Unity project. At the moment I’m just trying to get the basics working. As a start all I’m looking to do is pull in the different products from our App on RevenueCat and display them on screen.I’m wondering if it’s possible to test this in the Unity Editor. Am I able to pull in the subscription products from RevenueCat when running from the unity editor? Or is it exclusive to running the built app on a phone. ( Currently when i run in the editor with the existing code i’m getting a null reference error on “_wrapper” in the

Resubscribe is not currently available for your users because your app does not use Billing Library 2.0 in all active app bundles

We’re seeing this issue when creating a subscription. I would think this is a RevenueCat Flutter SDK issue but not sure. Please let us know!

SKAdNetwork - Listen to Trial conversion events app side

Hi, We are trying to use SKAdNetwork to track trial starts and trial conversions via Branch. While working with Branch customer support, they suggested we track these natively via BranchEvents so that the events would be captured by SKAN. This is easy for trial starts since we get a callback on device when the trial starts. However, for trial conversions, we need to do this client side as well to have them registered via SKAN. Is there an easy way to do this? One way I thought about doing this would be to set up `addPurchaserInfoUpdateListener` in the app and an async storage valuue to set this listener until if fires and then check if the user info changes to subscribed or cancelled. This seems a little convoluted though so I wanted to see if there was an easier way. As an aside, the Branch docs should probably be updated with a note around SKAdNetwork as we spent a lot of time trying to debug why we were getting no attribution data and it was because the events were coming server sid

Apple or Revenuecat server responses very slow? 12/23-12/28+?

Has anyone seeing the Apple or RevenueCat server response time to be very slow in the last week?12/23-12/28+? A few weeks ago the response time was great, very fast. Currently it can take several minutes to authenticate a purchase between Apple and RevenueCat. This has led to several App Store rejections this week. Anyone else experiencing this? Should I just wait till the new year? Maybe Apple and RevenueCat are doing maintenance so servers are slow. If the apple tester/review person sees a long delay they reject the app….

Expo RevenueCat using TestFlight - The receipt is not valid

I have integrated into our React Native Expo app RevenueCat, following all the guides step by step.I publish the app to TestFlight today and I can see the purchase popup and product information correctly. After purchasing the product I see a message saying: “You’re all set, your purchase was successfull.”And just after that message we are doing an alert with the value of “productIdentifier” property.const {customerInfo, productIdentifier} = await Purchases.purchasePackage(expertAdvicePackage); Alert.alert(JSON.stringify(productIdentifier));The alert shows this: We already checked bundle id and app shared secret and everything matches exactly as in the AppStore. This is killing me because I can’t pass this point and need to move this into production asap. Appreciate any help or advice. Kind regards,

Testflight clicking subscriptions or IAPs has long delay

Why is clicking a subscription or IAP so slow on iOS. When I click on a subscription, it can take up to 20 seconds to even show the pop up modal to purchase the subscription. I am testing this on testflight and am wondering if there is a way to make this delay quick? The IAPs and subscription purchases eventually go through, just unacceptably slow. Is this due to Apples test flight servers being slow or something else? Will we see increased performance when we deploy a production build? For context, I am using `purchaseProduct` to buy both IAPs and subs.Thanks

Missing App Store subscriptions on released build, working in testflight

I’ve waited for over 24 hours (36 hours now), the productIDs all match, and everything works in testflight, all the subscriptions are approved in App Store Connect. However i still can’t collect any subscriptions on the app store build.I did recently change the reference names, but can see nowhere in revenue cat where the reference names are even mentioned, so doubt that would be the issue. Is there any further advice or information anyone can spare us? Struggling to see what we could be missing as everything looks to be in good shape based on the tests, sandbox and logs.

Share subscription between multiple devices with the same Apple ID

Hi,I’m using revenue cat in a flutter app to manage subscriptions. Users are not logged in, I’m only using anonymous App User IDs. It works like a charm.However, a user has subscribed on his ipad and cannot use the entitlement on his iphone. He has an error when he tries to subscribe to the same entitlement.If I add the restore purchases method, will that solve this issue ?Or do I need to log in users ?Thank you for your help

How to show annual subscription price per month?

Sorry if it was asked before, I searched but couldn’t find anything :(What is the best way to calculate the price for annual subscription per month/week? I want to show user, how much he/she will pay for an annual subscription each month or week.I see that there is a pricePerMonth property on StoreProduct and it calculates correctly, but it shows only the numbers, without currency symbols such as $.Thank you!

Configuring Stripe product with multiple price options with Offerings

I’ve been using RC in my Flutter iOS and Android apps and it’s working beautifully. I’m now looking to add web support w/ Stripe and am hitting a road block. In Stripe, we can create a single product with multiple price points. This seems to be the suggested way to do things, according to RC documentation. However, it appears I should use the product ID to create a single product in RC. This precludes me from putting my Stripe products in different RC packages for the offering.For instance, I have ‘Lifetime’, ‘Yearly’, and ‘Monthly’ packages in the default offering. I added those as price options for the Stripe product. But RC requires the ‘prod_######’ ID to link to a product in Stripe, which doesn’t differentiate for the price options.Should I split it up into different products in Stripe? Or am I missing something?Thanks!

Getting "The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase."

I realize this is similar to the post here, but was hoping to dig into it a bit more on why we are seeing this failure.We are seeing “The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase.” when attempting to call Purchases.getProducts() or Purchases.getOfferings() from our React Native app.  A few notes:We’re on React Native 0.63.  (I realize that the docs recommend 0.64 or newer, but it was my understanding that it should still work on this version). We’ve ensured that the emulator we are running has the Google Play Services SDK installed.  According to the AVD Manager, we’re using a fairly new Android version: Android 11.0 (Google Play Services) We are logged into an account on the emulator that is registered as a license tester on the Google Play Console. The emulator has been rebooted several times.This error happens in both our main app and a simple test app that we put together for the sake of testing.  Is there something else that we are missing in our testing process that cou

"View sandbox data" toggle is disabled

I just made my first iOS sandbox purchase using the RevenueCat Flutter SDK. Then I went to my dashboard and could not find the fake purchase. I looked at the docs and it claims I need to toggle my view sandbox data ON. The issue is that this toggle is disabled. When I hover I get the “not-allowed” cursor. Why would this toggle ever be disabled?

Expo Go | Purchases SDK doesn't work during Production

Need clarification on how to use Purchases with iOS widgets

Hello.  I want functionality in my iOS widgets to only be available for subscribers and it’s not clear at all to me how to accomplish that.This page describes how to “enable data sharing between the main app and extensions”. So I’m assuming, but am not 100% sure, that means that Purchases.configure would be called by both the main and the widgets. And since they share a UserDefaults area they’ll know the same things. The SwiftUI Magic Weather app doesn’t seem to have widgets so I have nothing to go on. If this is correct where do I call Purchases.configure from the extension? The @main struct for WidgetBundle doesn’t seem to use a .init like a standard struct for a SwiftUI View. Maybe in an .onAppear attached to the WidgetEntryView? I also have another question. In the scenario where the subscription expired BUT it auto-renewed would calling Purchases.shared.customerInfo() be sufficient for checking entitlements or is it a requirement to call Purchases.shared.getCustomerInfo instead?
