Test Restore Purchases in sandbox

Hi!I’m trying to test restoring Purchases in sandbox mode. My app does not identify users, and, by not having a login screen, every one of them has an anonymous App User ID.I purchased a consumable item inside the app, and, as this grants a “benefactor” entitlement, tried to restore the entitlement after uninstalling the app. This did not work.How can I ensure that an anonymous user can restore entitlements that are granted via consumable products? Thanks !Renato

Unexpected behaviors when crossgrading from Google monthly legacy plan to the new unified Google yearly plan

Our team is currently integrating the option to cross-grade between monthly ↔ yearly subsctiptions.Most of our Android users are on old Google legacy subcription plans. A few months ago, we updated to RevenueCat Purchases v6 and also created a new “unified” subscription with 2 base plans, one for monthly and one for yearly.So the subcriptions we have look like this:Legacy Subscriptions:app_regular_subscription (for monthly) app_regular_subscription_yearlyNew Subscription (used since we upgraded to RevenueCat v6 a month ago)app_subscription_unified (with 2 base plans: app-subscription-monthly and app-subscription-yearly) While testing different scenarios in Sandbox mode, I found out that there are some unexpected behaviors when crossgrading from app_regular_subscription (legacy - monthly) to app_subscription_unified:subscription-yearlyThe PRODUCT_CHANGE webhook event doesn’t come when the user effectively changes the current plan, instead, the webhook event comes roughly one second afte

Introprice returns wrong free trial number in Android - React Native Purchases SDK 6

Hi, I have been developing an app for iOS, and I can get the free trial as intro price in getOfferings response of the SDK. Now, I have upgraded to SDK 6 and trying to do the same on Android. The free trials are there in intro price, but they are returning wrong numbers. There are free trials as subscription options which have right number of days. Is this a bug or expected? Thank you in advance!

App rejected by Play Console due to security

Hi All,Trying to publish an app and got the following:Unsafe EncryptionYour app contains unsafe cryptographic encryption patterns. Please see this Google Help Center article for details. p0.e0.c Unfortunately got nothing else, no email, so just have to guess what code its refering to. Best guess is the key used to configure revenuecat for in-app purchase.configuration = PurchaseConfiguration('goog_********************************');They suggest using Jetpack (https://support.google.com/faqs/answer/9450925)I am however struggling to implement this in flutter. Migration to RC 4.0: subscription status ignored in Testflight

I migrated my app to 4.0 of purchases-ios and released it on Testflight.When I install the app on a device with an active subscription, the subscription status is lost (with all the associated features).If I re-install the App Store version, the subscription status is back.Purchasing works correctly in Xcode / debug.Any idea what’s happening?Thanks

Entitlements randomly return empty causing unexpected subscription expiration

A growing number of our Android users are experiencing unexpected subscription expirations due to the PurchaserInfo.getEntitlements() returning empty incorrectly.  The user will then use the restore functionally and PurchaserInfo.getEntitlements() will return correctly with their entitlements on the restore callback.  Within the the next couple sessions the user will get 0 entitlements returned again and be forced to restore once again. This behavior does not seem to stop and the users are stuck in this loop.  Background information:- Android- Confirmed users own entitlements in rev cat dashboard- RevCat Version: v3.3- We call Purchases.getSharedInstance().getPurchaserInfo() to verify subscription on every session

Is there support for proactive in-app purchase restore?

At WWDC 22, Apple released a session video about proactive in-app purchase restore. From what I understand, this is a way for an app to automatically restore a user’s purchase (e.g. after a re-installation) without them having to use a “Restore Purchases” button.I’m not sure if this is new or if this was supported all along, so my question is: Does the RevenueCat iOS SDK have support for this? I already found the syncPurchases function but I’m not sure whether it is the right API for the task.

iOS: Purchases.shared.purchase completion block not called

Hi there,I’m running into a problem where purchases do succeed, but the Purchases.shared.purchase(...) completion block is never called.I do see INFO: 💰 Finishing transaction in the logs, but the completion block itself is never called.Purchases.shared.purchase(package: package) { (transaction, customerInfo, error, userCancelled) in // Never called}I’m trying with a sandbox account on a real device. The same code seems to work for one of my other apps. I’m using purchases-ios 4.17.9. If after a purchase I do a restore purchase action, the entitlement is there for this customer. This confirms that the purchase does succeed.Any idea why this is happening?

Sync issues with customerInfo() after subscription expiration

In a test react native application on Android, I have made a purchase and am able to see that inside the customerInfo() response. The managementURL open the Subscription Play Store page where I can see it. Now I waited for it to expire and confirmed that it has indeed expired (got the Firebase extension to deliver the EXPIRATION and CANCELLATION same time). When calling customerInfo() a few minutes after this, it still shows active entitlements. Now the same managementURL point to an empty page in Play Store so it creates user confusion.Any idea how long or why the sync between EXPIRATION and customerInfo() exists?

Error configuring purchases - stuck!

Hi guys has anyone worked with revenue cat for subscriptions before ? I have a weird error saying 'Error configuring purchases:[Error: There is an issue with your configuration. Check the underlying error for more details. There's a problem with your configuration. None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from App Store Connect (or the StoreKit Configuration file if one is being used). Block Restores Not Working As Expected

This is the behavior I’m seeing (tested on iOS) when setting the Restore behavior to Block Restores.App store userA logs into our app as user1 user1 purhcases a monthly subscription user1 eventually cancels monthly subscription and it expires user2 logs in on the same device (i.e. still app store userA) user2 purchases monthly subscription, gets the ‘receiptAlreadyInUse’ error, HOWEVER, the purchase still went through successfully and user1’s purchase was restored.This feels like a bug that the purchase made it through even though the SDK returned an error.Also, the link to the documentation on restores is currently pointed to here which gives a 404.

Subscription promotional offer and StoreKit testing on iOS

I’m trying to use StoreKit testing to test purchase of a promotional offer on a subscription product. Purchase info returned by SDK incorrect

Users of our Android app are seeing incorrect subscription information. Using SDK version 4.3.0. When debugging this issue we discovered that when calling Purchases.sharedInstance.getPurchaserInfoWith() the function sometimes returns incorrect data. It seems caching logic does not work correctly. For instance the function returns the PurchaseInfo object below when calling it now (nov 24th 20:53 GMT). The request date is 4 days off and there is no firstSeen date. How to convert an app from payment to subscription on android?

I'm starting to use the revenuecat SDK to push subscriptions to my apps. I have an app that is currently paid and I would like to convert to the subscription model.In IOS, I have implemented a check to verify the first version that the user was installed, and if this is paid, I can deduce that the user has already paid for the app.My problem comes with the android version, since in the sdk of this platform I cannot find an attribute similar to that of IOS that indicates the version or the date of the first installation of the app by this user. Is there any mechanism to be able to perform this check in android?

Android subscription crashes after test purchase

"No Products Registered" Error after updating to Purchases-iOS 3.12.7

I updated my Swift dependencies in SPM from 3.12.4 to 3.12.7. After I update, I get the “no products registered” error below. Nothing has changed in App Store Connect or in RevenueCat. Need help debugging inactive entitlement on purchase success

Our understanding is that if the purchase succeeds, then PurchaserInfo should always have the ‘plus’ entitlement active. Are there cases where it’s expected for the entitlement to be inactive when the purchase succeeds? Or is there something else we can do to debug?

iOS 15 GetPurchaserInfo() empty

Hi as some users might have already posted, since upgrading one of my device to iOS 15, GetPurchaserInfo returns null. Rebooting the phone and running the app again will work but on renewal it will once again return null. All is well on iOS 14. RevenueCat Implementation with Unity

So I’m getting ready to launch our company app that features a paid subscription model. The app is built in Unity and we’ve been testing the features through testflight for the last few months now. A few weeks ago I looked into the advantages of using RevenueCat to manage the subscription side of the app. Below are a few questions and issues I’m having and wondering if anyone can help me.I’ve gone through the step-by-step guide on how to implement RevenueCat into my Unity project. At the moment I’m just trying to get the basics working. As a start all I’m looking to do is pull in the different products from our App on RevenueCat and display them on screen.I’m wondering if it’s possible to test this in the Unity Editor. Am I able to pull in the subscription products from RevenueCat when running from the unity editor? Or is it exclusive to running the built app on a phone.
