Got Empty Products trying to integrate with Play Store

My android app is already published in production track and I still cant manage to retrieve offerings. Is it possible to have more than 1 introductory offer per subscription?

We have a monthly subscription in Apple and Google which has 1 introductory offer (i.e. 1 week free trial). Is it possible to create a second introductory offer (e.g. 2 week free trial) on the same product? Ive noticed its possible the create the offer on app store connect but how does the app know which introductory offer to display to the user? We do not want to offer the 2 week free trial to everyone.

Problems with PurchasesCoreSwift

My ionic cordova project can no longer run on IoS since last Thursday and I have no idea why this is happening.When testing the Xcode, the code no longer processes the PurchasesCoreSwift-Info.plist, with results that the entire Purchase folder remains empty and it fails as it can not import from the Purchases.h file. We have a podfile that installs the PurchasesHybridCommon as usual (it might have something to do with that, as we were upgrading the Cocoapods when the error occured, unfortunatelly setting it back to previous versions hasn’t solved the issue.) Is there anyone else who experiences this problem? Or can offer advice where to look?

Why does RevenueCat allow for making purchases entirely client-side with public key?

Services like Stripe require a secret key and a server to make a purchase. If it was possible to do entirely client-side, wouldn’t Stripe do it be default?

Giving users 1 day entitlements when paying for a consumable product just like the subscription's entitlements

Hello:We have subscriptions setup in our app, but we want to add a consumable product to give the user the same entitlement that he will get when subscription for 1 month, but this time it will be for 1 day only.is there a way to do this in Revenuecat, and is there a place in the documentation that we can follow to setup this kind of process?Our app uses Firebase as backend, and Revenuecat Firbase extension is added to the projectThank you

Cancel subscriptions from within react native app?

Hey guys. Apparently there has been an update to the Google Play Developer Program Policy where customers “must be able to easily cancel their subscription from within the app.”I was wondering what the best approach for this was. I’m under the impression that cancelling a subscription in-app isn't possible yet? If I’m wrong could someone point me in the right direction?I did come across this thread that says how redirect the user manage their subscription? Does any one know if this method would suffice?

Can the anonymous RevenueCat ID be used to identify users across multiple app versions and devices?

I have implemented consumable in-app purchases with revenue cat and wanted to use the anonymous ID (“$RCAnonymousID:…) to keep track of the purchases a user has made. This seems to work fine until a user reinstalls the app or I upload a new version of the app. I call the restore function to get previous purchases but if I check the ID with the originalRevenueCatID method I get a different ID if I reinstall the appI tested this with TestFlight (iOs) and reinstalled the same version of the app after I purchased something but the purchase is gone and also the ID is something else. Is this because of TestFlight maybe and it should work if I publish the app? Or is this generally not possible?I basically wanted to not force the user to create an account and still be able to keep track of in-app purchases across multiple versions of the same app and of course re installationsHope this is the right place to ask. Would appreciate any kind of advice!

One-time purchase goes through, grants entitlements, BUT after restart, all entitlements are gone and user is seen as free user.

This only happens to one of my apps, my first app persist entitlements until it’s uninstalled, however my new app that has an one-time-purchase, grants the entitlements after payment but when the app is restarted, the entitlements are all gone despite the payment going  through, I can re-purchase it too. Is it cause im using the same service account json for both apps? The code shouldnt be wrong cause im using the same on both apps and the first one works.What could be wrong? I DID notice that I forgot to put the new app in the service account permissions, which i thought would fix the problem, but I still have the same problem.

Since you can have multiple apps inside one project, I’m wondering what the structure should look like?If I have two different apps, one game “Fighter”, and another unrelated app “MySocial”.Do I make these under the same project, or do I put them in seperate projects? Is the multiple-app thing meant for iOS & Android version of the same app?

Cross-platform subscription management

Hello everybody!I've been working on a react-native project which already has a subscription flow that uses stripe on it's web version. The subscription is currently being managed in our back-end and basically, what we do, is to link an entity User (this one is generated in the register flow) to an entity Customer that is responsible for storing the payments data (this one is generated after a purchase is made through stripe). To keep the subscriptions status up to date, we have an endpoint that receives webhooks events from stripe and updates the data in our database. with that being said, the problem I'm facing right now is: As I'm using the revenuecat lib to perform the in-app purchase, how can I match each new purchase with a customer of my database?I've tried using the apple server notification service, which is working fine, but I don't know how to link the received payload to a user or a customer. If there is any data in there that I can link to Revenuecat, please let me know be

Web Subscription via Stripe: One Product per plan or One Price per plan?

Greetings,We have a product with subscription.  We offer 1-month, 6-month, and annual plans.  It’s already working on iOS and Android.On Web/Stripe, it can be done in two ways:Create one Product with 3 Price objects. Create three Products with one Price per Product.RevenueCat Doc says “In order for Stripe subscriptions to unlock entitlements, you must set a Product Identifier in the desired Offering to match a Stripe product ID exactly.”  Which, to us, means that it’s preferred to have 3 difference products (option 2 above).  That would also be in-line with Apple Store and Google Play.However, Stripe’s Pricing Table (and other tools out there) differentiate between 3 products and 1-produce-with-3-prices. What’s the recommended way of setting this up?  Any limitations or drawbacks on each option?

Migrate customers to RevenueCat with a existing free trial expiry

Hi all, I am currently migrating to RevenueCat. My current user subscription details are stored in DB. I have used rest to migrate those over using the uuid for the user. But when a user registers on my platform, they get a 1 month free trial. This trial is basically a exp date set in the DB for the user without any interaction with Stripe, Google or Apple. My question is, how can I set this user up on revenuecat with a custom trail exp date if they without interaction with the Stripe, Google or Apple. Essentially adding a customer with a trail expiry date. Is this possible and if so how can I achieve this? Thanks

Empty Product Offerings w/ App Store Payment Agreement Renewal

Had some questions regarding iOS-specific empty product offerings:Is there anything specific we need to do within RevenueCat to let RevenueCat know that there is a newly renewed Paid Apps Agreement for App Store? How long does it take for RevenueCat to be able to register a newly renewed Paid Apps Agreement? We renewed the agreement in App Store Connect about an hour ago but we are still seeing errors. Hi TeamI have integrated RevenueCat InApp purchase. I created subscription details screen in mobile app. Like Current plan name, status, period etc. which are fetch the details from backend server. We are managing all events on backend side then mobile side, We are fetching those details from the server via REST API. So plan status is Active once cancel current subscription plan from App store. It should be receive cancel event in web hook and get updated status from backend api.What is solution for get web hook event on time. ?

Increasing subscription prices and keep existing subscribers on old plans

I have an app that offers subscriptions on both the App Store and the Google Play Store. The user can subscribe to a monthly/3-month/annual plan in the app. I’m thinking about raising prices only for new subscribers, but after reading https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/price-changes and questions posted in the community, I’m still not 100% sure how to proceed, especially when it comes to Google Play. My setup is pretty straightforward:RC:Single entitlement, associated with all products, that gives “unlimited” access to the app 3 products (1m/3m/1y) for the App Store 3 products (1m/3m/1y) for the Google Play Store 3 packages to group 1m/3m/1y products Single offering that contains the 3 packagesApp Store1 subscription group that contains 3 subscriptions (1m/3m/1y)Google Play Store3 subscriptions (1m/3m/1y) My questions:App Store: I think the best way is create a new subscription group with new subscriptions/prices. In the iOS settings app, existing subscribers will only see the old subscr

Split payment

Dear all, I would like to receive a payment by means of RevenueCat from an user and split that payment to me (the app itself) and to another specific user. The logic is akin to Uber, which receives a payment from a passenger and split that between Uber itself and a specific driver. I’ve done my research on RevenueCat docs but had not found anything about. Thanks in advance for clarifications!

Non-native grace period via Apple is possible?

After subscription expires due to non-payment on IOS  can I create a different grace period (example of 3 days) and control it on my own or if it is expired at Apple, the customer really must not have access to my Application and Apple prohibits it if they have access for a few more days even though the grace period has not been enabled from native Apple?

Can't delete product with transactions

I’m trying to delete two unused products (the ones without entitlements in my account). However, when I try to do this, I get a message saying that they can’t be deleted because there are transactions using that product.However, no matter where I check (lists, charts, sandbox purchases, etc.) I can’t see any record of subscriptions using those products. How can I determine what transactions are being referenced so I can successfully delete the products?Separately, I ordinarily wouldn’t care about having unused products, but I’ve been experiencing an issue where I see [Purchases] - WARN: 🍎‼️ Invalid Product Identifiers messages for those two products appear while testing my iOS app on a physical device.I receive 50+ of these messages within ~1 second, memory usage for the app spikes from 30MB to >2GB, and the entire app crashes. What is going on here and how can I resolve this issue? I’m very concerned that my users could be experiencing this as well.

BILLING_ISSUE vs. CANCELLATION w/ BILLING_ERROR - what's the difference?

Hello!BackgroundWe’ve noticed that we now typically receive a BILLING_ISSUE webhook followed by a CANCELLATION webhook with a reason of BILLING_ERROR when a customer encounters billing problems in the App Store/Play Store.The webhook documentation does not really tell me what the practical difference is between these two:BILLING_ISSUE:There has been a problem trying to charge the subscriber. This does not mean the subscription has expired.CANCELLATION w/ BILLING_ERROR:Apple, Amazon, or Google could not charge the subscriber using their payment method.The CANCELLATION event with cancellation reason BILLING_ERROR is fired as soon as the billing issue has been detected. The EXPIRATION event with expiration reason BILLING_ERROR is fired if the grace period (if set up) has ended without recovering the payment, and the customer should lose access to the subscription.From the descriptions here, it kind of seems like they are interchangeable. Neither signify that the subscription has expired,

Apple Subscription Management URL Not Working on Android

I am testing a scenario where the user bought a subscription with an iPhone and tries to manage his subscription using an Android device. RevenueCat’s SDK gives me this link to manage the subscriptions: purchaseInfo.managementURL = https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.When my app lauches this URL, the user is sent to Apple’s Music website, which instructs the user to install Apple Music app.I installed Apple Music app as per Apple’s instructions, and tried to manage the Apple subscriptions from an Android device again. This time my app launches https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions and Apple’s Music Android app is opened, but it stays in a never ending loading animation, so I can’t access my subscriptions from this https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions URL.I also tried opening this same URL from a browser on a Windows PC, but the page also never ends loading, with the following message:

Purchases.sharedInstance.getOfferingsWith return empty list

Context: i have an app live on google play.  everything works fine  i add a suffix to package name to create another flavor of the app  i publish this new app to closed testing and add a list of testers  i create new app on Revenue cat (same package name as my new flavor)  i add the same Service Account credentials JSON for new app as the one for existing live app where everything works fine  i added 2 products in revenueCat for this new app. the Identifier for each product is matching the Product ID on google play for that new app subscriptions. Each product has the same entitlement as existing app products. all are sharing the same entitlement.  I am checking the Debug info for this new app:  when i am checking the logs, i can see [ Products request finished for : {my products} Retrieved skuDetailsList: SkuDetails: {"productId":… ] - here i have all the products, but then i can see the next row of logs :  Requesting products from the store with identifiers: {my products}, Products re

Does RevenueCat have a concept of Team Subscription, or its work only with personal ones?

I mean the case when the one user (team owner) is paying money for a few other (members), in other words, in other words, all team members shared one common (group) subscription, and only the owner pays for it.  I'm new with the RevenueCat and didn't find this feature in the Doc, so decided to ask for being totally sure.

Is there documentation for new SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS behavior?

I was recently troubleshooting a customer-reported issue related to a SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event and I ran across this post stating that the SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event had been deprecated and has not been sent “for awhile now.”However, that reply was dated 25 February 2022, and the SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event I was troubleshooting was received much more recently, on 2 June 2022. So apparently SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS events *are* still being sent?I’m currently trying to update our handling of SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS events to account for a change to “original_app_user_id” in the same event -- something we had not accounted for (and the root cause of this customer reported issue.)But the aforementioned post, and the Webhooks documentation which now lists SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS as deprecated has me wondering if I should be handling an entirely different event?Is there any documentation that explains how the account-sharing functionality that was enabled by the SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS event is being replaced, now that the event
