PI-Hole Blocking all traffic

Hi team. Today I was trying to check my dashboard and all of the API calls were failing. I was also unable to load any info in the app. I was able to trace the problem to my pi hole blocking all of the requests. I’ve had the pi hole installed for a while, so this is a new development. Either they’ve added Revenue Cat to their block list, or the APIs changed to something that gets blocked by them. I’ve already added an exception, so I’m set, but I wanted to let the team know in case you wanted to investigate.

Can not delete customers

I have two customers showing up in my sandbox customer list but I can’t delete them.When I click on them, they don’t pull up but they still show up in the list.How do I contact support to help me delete these customers that refuse to go away?Another post says it could take up to an hour but it’s been over a day.

After Deleting a Transaction from StoreKit, why does RevenueCat still think the Transaction Exists?

I’m new to RevenueCat, read the setup docs, watched some YouTube videos, and I got everything working so far. But I ran into a problem after making a test purchase on a real device.A- In viewDidLoad I run fetchCustomerInfo() to check if the user has subscribed or not. When the user hasn’t, the subscribe and restore buttons are shown. I press the subscribeButton and the transaction is successful. I stop the app, and when I restart, the buttons don’t show, which is correct.B- In Xcode I go to Debug > StoreKit > ManageTransactions > I delete the Transaction, and it says No Transaction.C- I stop the app, open the app back up, and the buttons don’t show, but they should show because there aren't any transactions. I check the flow in step 2 again and it still says No Transaction.D- I go to the RevenueCat console, Projects > My Project > iOS > Customers > Active/Sandbox/Non-Subscription/Expired, there aren't any customers in either of them. There is no data whatsoever.E-

Restore purchases works when running in Xcode but doesn't work in TestFlight

Hello, I have a problem with implementation of restore purchases (I am using RevenueCat anonymous ID’s). When I run Purchases.shared.restoreTransactions in Xcode it returns right subscription status but when I upload it in TestFlight it stops working. I am signed with the same sandbox account. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Getting "Purchases offerings error" & BILLING_UNAVAILABLE."

Our Android Live app is seeing a lot of the following errors when users try to pay for our app. Recently, a lot of users with newer Android phones are also having this issue so don’t believe it’s a Google Play version issue. Does anyone know what is causing this? "Purchases offerings error" {"code":3,"message":"The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase.","readableErrorCode":"PurchaseNotAllowedError","readable_error_code":"PurchaseNotAllowedError","underlyingErrorMessage":"Billing is not available in this device. StoreProduct.localizedPriceString in USD

Hi,I am an absolute beginner when it comes to using the Revenue Cat SDK. So this might be a stupid question.  I have set up my product in Appstore,  Revenue Cat and installed the SDK.  When testing the API I get all of the information about the product back correctly in the app, apart from all prices are in USD ( hoped for SEK, app localisation Sweden).  I have tested both in a simulator and on a physical device( logged in to my account).After reading a few blog posts it seems that this (prices in USD) is what should be expected as long as the app is in a test environment but not a problem once the app is in production. So my question is have I understood this correctly or have I done something wrong?

Testing Get Offerings on Amazon Kindle showing PurchaseNotAllowedError

I’ve prepared my Amazon app to use RevenueCat for my app subscription and run into the following issue. How should i structure my offerings?

Hey all 👋 I'm currently making an app using RCs Flutter SDK and I'm excited to get integrated. I believe I've wrapped my head around entitlements, packages, and offerings and what input on my future offerings.  My budgeting app will have 2 entitlements for standard and premium subscriptions. I also plan to sell monthly and yearly subscriptions on iOS and Android.  So far, everything seems normal and similar to the products examples on the doc site.  My twist is that service I offer will only allow users to connect to N financial institutions based on the subscription level a user chooses. I want to be able to offer the standard plan with a default entitlement of 3 linked institutions and the premium with a default of 7 institutions.  I'm also planning to allow users to change their linked institutions limit manually (from 3 to 5 for example) and have their monthly/yearly subscription reflect that change in cost.  My question is, will I have to make an entitlement for each amount of li

Implementing Developer Determined Offer with Android

I’m trying to apply a developer-determined offer in the app.Using react-native-purchases 6.0.0.I’m able to fetch the Offerings using `Purchases.getOfferings()` and I can see the discount as an option in what is returned. packageType: 'MONTHLY', product: { discounts: [ { cycles: 12, periodNumberOfUnits: 1, priceString: '$2.99', period: 'P1M', price: 2.9899999999999998, periodUnit: 'MONTH', identifier: '12_month_25_percent' } ],However, I am unsure on how to then apply this offer.purchasePackage and purchaseSubscriptionOption each don’t seem to offer an option to apply the discount.purchaseDiscountedProduct  and purchaseDiscountedPackage say they only apply only to iOS.So how should I apply a developer determined offer in android when making a purchase?https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/google-play-offers#eligibility-criteria

Offer code accepted by the App Store but Revenuecat did't see it and the user has no entitlement

My app is built in Flutter. As suggested by the revenuecat documentation, I’m redirecting the users to the app store to redeem offer code.In some tests I made, the offer code was accepted by the app store but revenuecat didn’t recognize it and the user is seen as not paying.I’ve setup all the settings required bu revenuecat, including the “In-app purchase key configuration”.Not even “addPurchaserInfoUpdateListener” is called after the redemption of the offer code.

Testing RevenueCat / Stripe Integration

I’m hitting a bit of a wall getting the RevenueCat/Stripe integration up and running, mainly because I haven’t found a good path for testing test/sandbox subscriptions. I can do testing against Stripe Live, but that isn’t really a good solution..Stripe seems to only allow installation of the RC App in Live mode. It also appears that RC only allows one Stripe integration per project, meaning that I can only have one webhook config for Stripe with one Stripe webhook secret. I don’t want to (lol), but it seems like I could:Create a second RC project and attach the Stripe Test webhook there. Proxy the Stripe Test web hooks, and forward them onto RC. I haven’t tested this, so I haven’t verified if the checks on RC endpoint would allow these coming from a different source. Test in Stripe Live mode.Do I have any better options? I’m hoping I’ve just missed something that makes this really easy.Thanks in advance.

What does the unsubscribe_detected_at field in the S3 exports represent?

Can you please explain how the unsubscribe_detected_at field is populated?I have some users who have opted out of auto renewal, but their unsubscribe_detected_at field is null. And some users who don’t have it as null.The only difference I see is that users in the latter group re-subscribed after opting out.

Sharing subscriptions between existing app and new app

I have an existing app (“Cameras”) with a subscription product and lifetime product that share the same entitlement. I’m creating a new app (“Lenses”) and I want to share subscriptions between them, but not lifetime purchases. I believe I can do this without having to make a new entitlement, and just checking the allPurchasedProductIdentifiers. Testing purchases on iOS simulator best practices

I state that both with iOS Device and Android Device everything works fine. As for the Android emultor I can regularly test the in app purchase (emulators with Google play services), with the iOS emulator (with iOS 14.0) I have difficulty making it work with the storeKit. I followed the explanations to configure it but it shows that I have done something wrong. One step that I didn't understand is that of duplicating the Configuration.storekit. Why is it necessary to duplicate it if you can select the first one in the next step? If you have any advice on mistakes that other users have made previously that prevented the emulator from working properly with storekit, I welcome it.

why is event data price showing new pricing when purchased_at is months prior to new pricing change

429 on Get Subscriber when using the suggested webhook implementation

We implemented the suggested Webhook implementation. From the docs: “To simplify the logic of handling different webhook types, we recommend creating a polling system using the GET /subscribers REST API to sync the subscription status of the customer from RevenueCat to your database. Then, each webhook event can simply be a trigger to call this sync function.” We implemented this solution. However, with this suggested implementation we get a lot of 429 (Rate Limit) error: We have a fallback that will retry the call to GET /subscribers, however I was wondering if there were other workarounds you can think of?  Are there plans to change this rate limit? I know other people have the same issue here

Google play closed testing problem

I have been following the revenuecat doc to set up a google sandbox testing. I have added testers and uploaded an aab file. But I still can’t head to the subscription section and begin to set up any products, it asks me to upload an apk file.I saw the doc and it says that ”You don’t even need to roll out the release. Just upload the APK.“I checked the play console and it says under tester that “The link will be shown here when you publish your app.”The release of the aab is still in review, is it that I must wait for the review to be over before I can continue setting up subscription in play console? Or did I miss something here?  Thanks a lot for looking into this.

When `created a new alias` will be executed by Identified user?

MyApp requires signIn operation for purchase.And also, `Purchases.logIn("my_app_user_id");` after signIn. But, `created a new alias`  executed about 1 month after purchased.This occurs a few users. Why??In the period, it has been used `$RC:AnonymouseID:xxx` instead of `my_app_user_id`.It is not expected. it should create alias as `my_app_user_id` as soon as possible(ex. next to First seen using the app). Any help, please

Should I show paywall or restore purchases button after user has done a successful purchase?

Let’s suppose there is a subscription group with monthly and yearly product. Now a user purchases my monthly plan then should I allow users to view the paywall? Currently my approach is to let users know they already own the “Pro” package which doesn’t let them redirect to a paywall and because of that they can’t also see restore purchases button. So should i still separately show the restore puchases button? or keep following my current approach?

RevenueCat Purchases.configure crashes my Xcode app after 2 minutes in TestFlight

My Xcode app has RevenueCat Purchases.configure(withAPIKey: "myApiKey") which runs fine in a device from Xcode. The same app crashes in TestFlight after 2 minutes even if left alone. I commented out Purchases.configure and it stopped crashing in TestFlight. I need help.
