Product Description is null and Pricing Period Resolution Question

I am using the Android SDK (with Kotlin) and my product description always comes back null. I can see the product description in the Google Play Store console but it doesn’t come back through RevenueCat. Also when I check the freeTrialPeriod and subscriptionPeriod values they come back with is “P2W” and “P1M” respectively. How do I resolve that into “2 weeks” and “monthly” programatically? Is there an enum or something being use to resolve these? TIA.

How to combine free trial and intro prices

I have launched a react native app recently that has a free trial period for both yearly and monthly subscription. I’d like to add a special offer limited in time for new subscriber that would make use of introductory prices.The user journey would be as follow:14 days free trial then 6 months $7/month then regular price of $14/monthI have been using the free trial without issue unntil I wanted to implement the introductory price on top of it. The issue is that the getOfferings function does not seems to provide both information, it only returns me the intro price object with a price of 0 Is there a way to get the full details for the configured pricing including free trial then introductory price? Or am I getting it wrong?

Flutter - isActive is false after auto renewal of subscriptions (Sandbox)

Testing my monthly (silver) subscription in a sandbox environment using Flutter. When I try to subscribe (using a test card) on the Google Play store, I get the selected entitlement and the status of isActive as true. Everything works as expected.However, when the subscription auto-renews, post that I see the entitlement info but the isActive flag becomes false. Execution of Purchases.purchase(package) returns error bellow.( 5034): type '_InternalLinkedHashMap<Object?, Object?>' is not a subtype of type 'Map<String, dynamic>'It happens inside the purchases_flutter package.package version purchases_flutter: ^3.9.1.

Is RevenueCat able to detect a user returned app and received refund before (App store/Mac App store)

I’m making the transition from one-time purchase app to free with in-app purchase for my app currently on Mac app store/iOS app store.I’m trying to grandfather all users who bought the app before into premium of the app by using originalApplicationVersion the SDK provides in purchaserInfo. Whoever bough the app before the transition will have the originalApplicationVersion be lower than the to-be-released version of the free with IAP app.However, there are quite a number of users who bought the app before but then requested refund.Can I know whether a user had requested and received refund before using RevenueCat SDK?Thanks for helping 🙏

Testing price localization?

I am based in the U.S. and recently a beta tester in Canada reported that he was seeing U.S. prices for IAP, but during checkout he saw completely different (probably Canadian) prices. For example, the US price was $24.99; during checkout he saw $34.99.For IAP price strings, we use `Purchases.Package.localizedPriceString`.Is it possible to test price localization? I tried changing region in Xcode run scheme; had no effect.I had assumed `localizedPriceString` would just work, but perhaps I need to set the locale myself?Is this a glitch associated with TestFlight?

Entitlements in PurchaserInfo object

Hi there, I am newbie about RevenueCat. I want to request my issue. I added two products in one entitlement. And then, I made purchase both these two products using sandbox testing. In returned purchaserInfo object, one product identifier of this entitlement does not included in entitlements object. But, this product identifier included in Active Subscriptions parameter. In addition, the transaction for this product does not included in non-Subscription Transactions objects. But, I can see the transactions of this product on dashboard.So, does an entitlement show just only one product in purchaserInfo object? And, Does I need to separate another entitlement for the product that did not included in entitlements parameter.Please help me out! Thanks.

Flutter - RevenueCat plugin as observer of in_app_purchase 2.0.1

Hi,I’m trying to include RevenueCat plugin as an observer to our subscriptions code that uses flutter in_app_purchases flutter plugin v 2.0.1. But our code is failing because the difference in undelying BillingLibrary SDK versions of the plugins. I’m having a hard time finding a version of the RevenueCat plugin that uses the same or compatible version of Android’s BillingLibrary SDK version, can someone help me with that?Thank you,Luka

Amazon SDK throwing 'The operation is already in progress.'

When a user tries to purchase a subscription on my app, Amazon acknowledges a successful payment in the form of dialog box. Upon closing the dialog box, loader continues and app gets stuck.RevenueCat SDK throws the following error:PurchasesError(code=OperationAlreadyInProgressError, underlyingErrorMessage=null, message='The operation is already in progress.')Kindly look into this.Thanks,

How do I know if I'm using the Purchases framework or the RevenueCat framework

Last month I installed RevenueCat via Swift Packages in one of my SwiftUI apps and everything was working great until today when I tried to install a new package (Firebase) and I ran into issues installing it. I’m not 100% but I think my issue with RevenueCat started when I accidentally clicked on the `Update to Latest Package Versions` in Xcode. After that I started seeing a message that said something like…Dependencies could not be resolved because no versions of 'purchases-ios' match the requirement 4.0.0..<5.0.0 and root depends on 'purchases-ios' 4.0.0..<5.0.0. Then I removed the RevenueCat package and reinstalled the version suggested in the documentation (3.12.6 < 5.0.0, I actually used 3.12.6 < 4.0.0 since I could’t change it to < 5.0.0), after this new version I started getting errors within my code, for instance I’m getting the following error message… import RevenueCat Purchases.shared.restoreTransactions { (purchaserInfo, error) in // code here

Cannot validate Stripe Web Payment subscription

Hi, I have successfully running RevenueCat in-app subscriptions and now integrating another subscription method - Stripe Web Payments. I have created Products in Stripe and have created Products in RevenueCat using product ID from Stripe as product key in RevenueCat. I also have tried to create RevenueCat products using price id from Stripe. After I make a purchase in Stripe, I want to validate receipt so purchase appears in RevenueCat by making a POST request to API:curl --location --request POST 'https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/receipts' \--header 'X-Platform: Stripe' \--header 'Authorization: Bearer *** MY_STRIPE_KEY ***' \--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \--data-raw '{"app_user_id": "iLxQ2wdl26","fetch_token": "sub_1KRgPlGOGvcC5HQI5pE"}'But no matter of the configuration, I get this in response:{"code": 7103,"message": "The receipt is not valid."} Maybe anyone has any tips that I might be missing? willRenew and unsubscribeDetectedAt are not updated after subscription cancelled

I have an app made in Flutter that is running on Android and using subscriptions. The most basic things are working. But this is not:User have an active subscription and then cancels the subscription.I wait for more than ten minutes. I restart the app.Still PurchaserInfo says willRenew is true and unsubscribeDetectedAt is null.What can be done to get the updated information?

What can cause Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=0 "(null)" in production?

For the last 30 days our app got 137 errors where NSUnderlyingErrorKey is Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=0 "(null)", the problem occurs only in production and for different product identifiers. With very few other errors that brings about 0.5% fail to success payment ratio. Is there really something we can do to prevent this issue? What is the usual payment fail to success ratio you see across other apps? What is the conversion from tapping on CTA (for example “Continue”) on the paywall (initiated the appearance of system pop-up with payment details) to Successful payment?
