For a quasar app with Capacitor, do I install using the iconic/capacitor flow or a different installation flow?

I have a quasar app that uses capacitor to create iOS apps. I am new to Revenuecat and trying to figure out the installation flow. The only relevant docs I see are the react or iconic/capacitor apps. I would think I need a vue flow, though. I see this, but the link to the vue doc goes to the Iconic/React docs.

Issues with In-App Purchases and Sandbox Testing

Context:We are currently facing issues with our in-app purchases that have not yet been approved and are still in the "Ready to Submit" stage in App Store Connect. We are currently using the getOfferings method from the React Native IAP library, react-native-purchasesCurrent Setup and Observations:StoreKit Configuration Testing: When testing with the StoreKit configuration on the Simulator, transactions go through successfully and are visible in RevenueCat. This indicates that our setup and integration with RevenueCat are functioning correctly in the simulator environment. App Store Connect Sandbox Testing: When testing using the App Store Connect Sandbox, by navigating to Settings > App Store > Sandbox Account > Test Transactions, the subscriptions appear in the test accounts as expected. However, these sandbox transactions do not show up in the RevenueCat Recent Transactions. This is a critical issue for us, as we need to ensure that transactions are correctly logged and v

V1 vs V2 customer subscriptions

I get back results on V1 when I get customers but not on V2, V2 states “ONLY FOR WEB SUBSCRIPTIONS USING REVENUECAT BILLING”.Does that mean just keep using V1 to get customer subscriptions only, and if so, will V2 ever get discontinued or this added?ie:v1:api.revenuecat.com/v1/subscribers/useridv2:api.revenuecat.com/v2/projects/projectid/customers/userid

Package billingPeriod "value" incorrect: seems to be iso8601-1 instead of iso8601-2

I seem to be getting an incorrect value for my free trial billingPeriod on Android.I thought it would be good to ask here whether I’m understanding this correctly and/or whether to open an issue on GitrHub.I’ve set the trial period to 90 days in the Play Console, but in the returned package I’m getting 86 days. Looking at the iso8601 value, 84 days corresponds to 12 weeks so it looks like it’s ignoring the 6D. I’ve just learned that iso8601-1 doesn’t allow any other values if W(eeks) is specified but iso8601-2 does. It seems like, although P12W6D is correct (84 days + 6 days = 90 days) the ‘value’ field is showing an iso8601-1 interpretation (84 days only) rather than iso8601-2.Could this be a bug?

Flutter - General guidance with PresentPaywall and addCustomerInfoUpdateListener

Hello,Just asking some quick clarification questions publicly in case they help others, these are specific for Flutter but I would assume that they’re applicable for other SDKs.1. I am invoking:PaywallResult paywallResult = await RevenueCatUI.presentPaywallIfNeeded("Premium", displayCloseButton: true);I would assume that the only thing I can do to “react” to whatever the user did would be to switch on the enum - no other subscription details bar PaywallResult (notPresented, cancelled, error, purchased, restored) are returned?2. Related but I also noticed that you can hook into subscription changes like this: Purchases.addCustomerInfoUpdateListener((customerInfo) async { });Would you do this in a centralised place (like where we are initialising the SDK), to listen for all subscription changes for a user and then “observe” these using a ChangeNotifier or similar?

Restoring purchases on Apple Watch

When a user has bought my product from the iOS app, when I try to restore the purchase on the companion Apple Watch app, it does not seem to get it right. I am facing the same issue as this other topic. If using a StoreKit file, there is no error but the entitlement obtained in the iOS app is not retrieved. When I am not using a StoreKit file, the Watch keeps asking to login into my Apple ID (which I'm already logged in) How is this flow supposed to work? Thanks in advance 😻

Getting "NON_SUBSCRIPTION" products

Hi,I am trying to fetch APP Store IAP products using the API Purchases.getProducts, however, it is returning no products. After looking at various post it seems that I need to pass second argument to the method Purchases.getProducts as the default value is “subscription” and my product is not Subscription.I am struggling to pass the second argument which is ENUM in the latest SDK and not a simple string like “sub” or “iap”. I don’t know how to import these enum values so that I can use it as argument in the function call.Could you please help me with some sample code to pass the second argument? Thanks in advance. checkTrialOrIntroDiscountEligibility caching

I’m using the `await Purchases.shared.checkTrialOrIntroDiscountEligibility(product:)` method to check if a user is eligible for the intro offer of a product. I noticed that while the result of this method seems to be cached between calls, the cached values do not persist across app launches. This is problematic for us because we need to check intro discount eligibility on app launch, and this significantly slows down or app launch times. Since this value should rarely change, is there a way to tell the SDK to do more aggressive caching?

Checking feature unlock status and handling refunds with Consumable in-app purchase

My app is a paid app, and I’m transitioning the pricing model to the same model as Due app (https://dueapp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053244591-What-is-the-Upgrade-Pass). The difference is instead of using a subscription, I use a consumable in-app purchase.Each feature in the app has its own release date. To determine if a feature is unlocked, I compare its release date with the upgrade end date. If the release date is the same as or earlier than the upgrade end date, the feature is unlocked. There's a problem with your configuration. None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from App Store Connect (or the StoreKit Configuration file if one is being used).

Just launched my app with subscriptions on Monday.On Tuesday I had an iOS user successfully subscribe to a Monthly plan.Now, Wednesday morning, I’m seeing this error in my Sentry dashboard. Not quite sure what to make of this. Clearly things were working well enough ~12 hours prior that someone was able to subscribe - and I haven’t touched/changed anything since.Only the one error / one user so far - but I’m concerned it could continue.

When running my app, I show a paywall as activation for the app (similar to Netflix). How to check active entitlements using API

Is there any way using the v1 (or v2) API to check more directly whether an entitlement is active? The SDK has something like if !customerInfo!.entitlements.active.isEmpty but it seems like the API just returns something like: "entitlements" : { "premium" : { "expires_date" : "2024-04-23T14:43:37Z", "grace_period_expires_date" : null, "product_identifier" : "monthly", "purchase_date" : "2024-04-23T14:38:37Z" } when hitting the GET /subscriber endpoint. This means I have to check the expires_date against Date.now() or something like that which feels clunky rather than having the attribute calculated directly on the API.

Always get USD when using package.storeProduct.currencyCode

Hi, experts,I have iOS app and would like to show currency by using RevenueCat SDK (package.storeProduct.currencyCode). I have set up currency and price in Apple Store such as below, product/entitlement/offering in RevenueCat and so on so forth. I have set up all on Apple connect and Revenuecat board following the guide. But this error is showed when paywall is opened. Please help, what should I check to fix this problem?Test with real iPhone and with paid Apple developer account. App is under ‘Prepare for SUbmission’ state.

iOS Payment Sheet not appearing

I’m trying to test making a purchase on iOS but the purchasePackage method just hangs and does not resolve or throw and error. I’m currently using a physicial device with iOS 17.4.1, I’m using capacitor in vue 3 with @revenuecat/purchases-capacitor 7.5.9. My xCode is 15.2. I’m able to get the offerings no problem and pass it to the purchasePackage method but nothing happens, the payment sheet does not appear. I left if for like 10 minutes and it still did not appear or throw an error. Any help would be appreciated

IOS Reject Guideline 2.1

Hello RevenueCat Team,I recently submitted my app to Apple, but it has been rejected twice because of Guideline 2.1. According to RevenueCat documentation, the steps that Apple cited as problematic are already automatically managed by RevenueCat, which makes the claims by Apple simply incorrect.I have thoroughly reviewed the specific error mentioned by Apple and, after a detailed examination, I can confirm that the issue does not exist in my app. Additionally, I am unable to place and test my app on TestFlight as it was previously removed for a different reason.Given this situation, I'm unsure how to proceed.
