Dashboard user account appears to be doubled

First off, I have read everything in this thread and was not able to resolve my issue.My user count (both “Active Users” and “New Customers”) counts on the RevenueCat dashboard appear to be roughly double the actual count as I am tracking it internally within my app. I am using anonymous user IDs. My app is pretty basic and all I do is call Purchases.configure once on app launch -- my understanding is that this is where the unique customer is either created or retrieved but I’m not exactly clear on the logic here or how it happens.Anyway I’m using React Native and so I call .configure() in the export default function App() { … } function. I have also added logs and searched my entire code base to confirm that this is the only call and that it only gets called once during usage of the app.I don’t ever call reset(), identify(), or any other such RevenueCat methods. The only other calls to the RevenueCat SDK after a thorough scrub of my code base are Purchases.getOfferings, Purchases.getC

How to integrate with AppsFlyer without IDFA

Hi,I’m trying to configure AppsFlyer and RevenueCat. And I’m getting following errors in the console:[Purchases] - ERROR: 😿‼️ Error when syncing subscriber attributes. Details: The operation couldn’t be completed. (RevenueCat.BackendError error 0.) [Purchases] - ERROR: 😿‼️ One or more of the attributes sent could not be saved. ["$idfv": "IDFV cannot be modified.", "$appsflyerId": "AppsFlyer ID cannot be modified."] If I understand correctly, the AppsFlyer ID will be generated every time a user installs a new app. As users use multiple devices, I think this error will occur for every user who uses two or more devices. If this is the case, why is it shown as an error? Alternatively, how can I configure AppsFlyer and RevenueCat so that the AppsFlyer ID is unique? It seems impossible without IDFA

PurchaseInvalidError - Android

Hello,I am testing in app subscriptions in my app. Actually it’s been working really fine till today. I cancel and restart muy subscription many times to test the features. Today when i try to subscribe to app i have this message below;PurchasesError(code=PurchaseInvalidError, underlyingErrorMessage=Error updating purchases. DebugMessage: Expired Product details. Please fetch product details again and use it to retry the call.. ErrorCode: DEVELOPER_ERROR., message='One or more of the arguments provided are invalid.') I am fetching product informations correctly (like price ...etc). What should i do?

Offer code that provides both a month free and a discount

Hi,We are trying to create an offer code for a partner that gives their clients a month free and then 20% off our product. Is there a way to have an offer code or some combination of offer code and introductory offering that gives a user both a month free and a discount?Basically, the flow would be - a user comes on to our app referred by a partner. We to set up some relationship with the partner where THEIR users specifically get both: 1 month free 20% off our list price. For further context, we use the in-app offer code redemption sheet currently for offer codes. Are their better options than this for partner offer codes in an iOS app?

Expo Go | Purchases SDK doesn't work during Production

How to use RevenueCat for consumables products?

Hello,I intend to have both subscription and consumable products in my app. If you want an example of the kind of setup I want, check Slopes: the app offers subscription (monthly/yearly) + consumables (passes to unlock one day or one week). In Slopes, the user can redeem the pass whenever he wants, but it’s not what I plan: I plan to use the consumable as soon it’s purchased. So if a user purchase a one week pass consumable, I want to unlock the content from the purchase date.How would you setup the same thing using RevenueCat? Do I have to setup my own system to record the purchase date (= activation date in my case) then unlock the content based on this date? Or is it possible to access consumables purchase history in RevenueCat so I can check when a consumable had been purchased and unlock the content afterwards?Thanks,Axel

Reporting on Billing errors

I am trying to find a way to delve into billing errors for our customers. While there is a way to filter these in the customer panel, this only shows current billing errors and not those that moved to cancellation due to a previous billing error. Is there a way to find this information?

Entitlements appearing as active even though they are not

[Firebase integration] Google Analytics double counts iOS revenue

Is anybody here successfully using the RCxFirebase integration and getting correct revenue data in Google Analytics?I have the following problem: Revenue shown in Google Analytics seems to be counted double.For Android, I can prevent Firebase from automatically collecting revenue data via “Firebase > Project settings > Integrations > Unlink Google Play”. Then Android is fine.For iOS, however, this is not possible. Google error when restoring purchase.

If I call ‘restorePurchasesWith’ and there are no purchases to restore, I see an error out of the google billing wrapper: “Error acknowledging purchase. Will retry next queryPurchases. DebugMessage: Item is not owned by the user.. ErrorCode: ITEM_NOT_OWNED.” But this error does not bubble out of the wrapper up to the error handler provided to the ‘restorePurchasesWith’ call. How can I tell if restore fails in this manner.

CloudKit RecordName as RevenueCat appUserID

I want to use RevenueCat only with non-anonymous appUserIDs.I am using the CloudKit recordID.recordName of the user as a unique user ID. This recordName should be consistent across reinstalls and across devices as long as the user is logged in with his same AppleID.I am getting that userID async during launch of my app and it may not yet be available when I call Purchases.configure().My question: Will the customerInfo that gets created during .configure() be alway associated correctly with the customerInfo of the user with the appUserID (CloudKit recordName) if I call .configure() first at app launch and typically a few moments later .login() with the appUserID?Or does this create lots of “dangling” anonymous customerInfo records in RC that have no future use? Unexpected identifier structure with RC 5.0.0-beta.1 on Flutter / Android

We gave an appUserID to all our anonymous users

We used to configure revenue cat like thisPurchases.configure({apiKey: XXX})And we changed it to thisPurchases.configure({apiKey: XXX, appUserID: ourAppUserId})I am not sure of what happend after this:Do all our users now have an alias, in this case greate. Hey, I have a problem with auto-renewable subscriptions. When I click on purchase it trigger the Apple bottom sheet with subscribe, then when I click on subscribe it says successfully purchased but it doesn’t complete the transactions. Simple App that needs RevenueCat integration

I’m a basic developer and have found an idea of which I would like to monetise with a monthly subscription. It’s a simple two page app - which the base has been written. However I would really like to now integrate RevenueCat into this to enable monthly subs. Is there a pool of developers that, with payment can help out with this as I’m going around in circles.

iOS: Purchases.shared.purchase completion block not called

Hi there,I’m running into a problem where purchases do succeed, but the Purchases.shared.purchase(...) completion block is never called.I do see INFO: 💰 Finishing transaction in the logs, but the completion block itself is never called.Purchases.shared.purchase(package: package) { (transaction, customerInfo, error, userCancelled) in // Never called}I’m trying with a sandbox account on a real device. The same code seems to work for one of my other apps. I’m using purchases-ios 4.17.9. If after a purchase I do a restore purchase action, the entitlement is there for this customer. This confirms that the purchase does succeed.Any idea why this is happening?

Reporting Stripe subscriptions as Firebase web revenue

Hello RevenueCat Community,We've been using RevenueCat for our iOS, Android, and web apps, and we primarily use Firebase as our backend for all 3 apps. We've set up the RevenueCat’s Firebase integration (not the Firebase extension) by following the documentation provided here. The document seems to indicate that events for all 3 sources (App Store/Play Store/Stripe) can be sent to Google Analytics.We see the revenue data for our iOS and Android apps in the Firebase dashboard. However, we've noticed that the revenue for our web app, which is processed through Stripe, is missing. We do see the web app revenue on the RevenueCat dashboard, but it's not showing up in Firebase.We've double-checked the setup and believe that we've followed the integration steps correctly, but we're still not able to see the web app revenue in Firebase. Is there an additional step or configuration required for Stripe payments that's not covered in the documentation?Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly

Noticing many BILLING_ERROR alerts when testing in sandbox

I am using cordova-plugin-purchases in my App. I’ve noticed many “Had their subscription of vetcalculators_monthly_android:vetcalculators-monthly-android cancelled due to a billing error” comments in my sandbox testing recently. (Also in iOS). I’ve not changed anything in my code and wondering why this is happening. Using API Keys to Retrieve Subscriber Status from a server

Hello,I am using webhooks to store all webhook events that RC sends me in a postgres database. I noticed on the webhook documentation that I should be requesting the `/subscriber` endpoint on every subscription webhook event that comes in in order to “sync” the state of the database to the RC api source of truth. My question is - from a server, should I be using the apple API key or the google API key when requesting subscriber attributes from my server? My working assumption is that I can use this api to ultimately tell if a user is subscribed, so I am going to use that to unlock subscriptions / determine backend authorization for certain endpoints. Is this the correct approach here? If so, which key should I be using or does it not matter from the server (will using the apple and google api keys against the /subscriber endpoint return the same data?)Another question I have is about latency. Will the webhook event come in before the revenue cat api is updated? Also is this a bad appro

Issue related to changing Price

Hello everyone,After releasing my app with a subscription price of $5.99 and gaining a few subscribers, we decided to lower the price in a few countries on Apple and Google In-App Payments. Unfortunately, one of our subscribers was impacted by this change and reported that Apple charged them the updated price, but RevenueCat still showed the previous price of $5.99 in their last payment.Fortunately, the customer was charged correctly, but we're now concerned about the accuracy of the information shown in RevenueCat. Is there something we need to change in RevenueCat when we update the price on Apple and Google? What are we missing?Thank you in advance.

I’ve implemented revenuecat for in-app purchase with google play. I’ve done all steps carefully, but when purchasing in testing mode, it gives this error “This version of the application is not configured for billing through Google Play. check the help center for more information”. Wrong Firebase extension version published
