Discover and display products from offerings at run time

Hi there,I could not find an example or answer to this - but how do I display all products from an offering (along with price AND subscription duration)? Ideally I can iterate the offerings?.current.availablePackages correct?But then, how do I get each of the package price AND sub duration? Thanks in advance,

RevenueCat for logged-in users only

We use RevenueCat in Observer-Mode and only want to use it for logged-in users.I read the post:It mentions:Only configure RevenueCat with an userId Don’t call logoutThere is one issue with this approach though - if the user logs out and then makes purchases RevenueCat might pick them up. Is there a way to destroy the RevenueCat instance in order to get in a state equal to configure not being called? Maybe calling `Purchases.sharedInstance.close()` when the user logs our?

How to handle multiple accounts on one device with a common Play Store sign in?

 It goes something like this:1 - Sign into RC with appID12 - Purchase subscription.3 - Sign out and back in again using appID24 - RC says no subscription active for appID2 and so we present offerings.5 - Purchase fails because (presumably) Play Store thinks we already have an active sub because appID1 bought one using the common PlayStore sign in.I’d like to prohibit sub sharing across different accounts.In order for appID2 to be able to purchase a subscription, another Play Store account needs to be used.What’s the general best practice for dealing with this scenario?Many thanks.

iOS SDK Bug: RCPurchases purchasePackage crash

Hi! We noticed a somewhat rare crash that we’ve only recently been able to reproduce. This affects all iOS SDK version up to 4.17.5 (the latest at the time of writing). Basically we get a hard crash on[[RCPurchases sharedPurchases] purchasePackage...];The call stack simply points to libobjc.A.dylib at objc_msgSend within our method that calls purchasePackage.We haven’t noticed this crash with the restorePurchasesWithCompletion call. The crash doesn’t happen with getOfferingsWithCompletion either. We were finally able to reproduce this crash in the past few days with our TestFlight builds (and ONLY with TestFlight builds). We are calling all 3 methods from a thread that is not the main thread. Since only purchasePackage crashes (and on Android there are no crashes at all on any of the methods when not called from the UI thread), we never considered this to be an issue. However, then we queued the call the the main thread in iOS like this:dispatch_async(dispatch_get_main_queue(), ^(void)

Android AppInBackground is always true even when app is at foreground

Hi, I’m using the latest version of RevenueCat SDK on Android 5.7.1. I’ve noticed in debug logs that `AppInBackground` is always `true` even through the app is at foreground.This has caused some issues, such as cache not being updated in time. IIUC if app is in background, the SDK only updates cache once a day instead of the default 5 mins. Also, I realise that offerings are not being cached at app launch. When I start the activity with paywall, there’s always a noticeably delay of 2-3s to fetch the offerings. How to link purchase to Play Store or App Store id?

I am using Revenue Cat in my flutter app but I want to link a purchase to the underlying Store id to avoid duplicate usage. I don’t have any login method in my app so I use the revenue cat anonymous id. How do I get access to the underlying store id?

Which api key should i use for observer mode on server side?

I’m now transferring my subscriptions to RevenueCat using Observer Mode on the server side and found out that for iOS users I should use the API key for ios and the opposite for Android.Docs says that I shouldn’t use a private API key for my case.Is there any universal API key?

Getting receipt and other subscription parameters

I want to integrate with Adjust, and I want to do so the easy way (I would prefer not to be made to jump through whatever obstacle course that the RevenueCat integration entails):Is there an easy way for me to fetch the receipt from the client (right after a subscription has been made and approved), as well as also doing the same kind of thing on Android?If there isn’t, I would have to assume that this is purposefully avoided so as to make migration harder, and that in the process of making migration harder you are also making other things harder.

Credential issues after purchase confirmation

Hello. I'm able to list products and make purchases but after making a purchase I get this error.I read on the documentation that if you get this error after purchasing I need to make sure the shared secret is correct. So I double checked but got the same result, then I regenerated another shared secret but I'm still getting the same error message:There was a credentials issue. Check the underlying error for more details. ERROR: 🍎‼️ The receipt is missing.

a user deletes the app and data off their device. They previously purchased some non-consumable items. The reinstall. I run syncPurchases one time in the app delegate. I get this error ERROR: 🍎‼️ The receipt is missing.I expected it to return the non-consumable entitlements in the customerinfo. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Missed Webhooks for Consumables?

If my app fails to receive a `NON_RENEWABLE_PURCHASE` webhook for a consumable, is the event completely lost?If so that would mean the purchase is completely lost, is there any recourse to deal with those situations, or is the idea that I should just never miss one of these events?

Number of Customers are way off

Hello! In my DB I have around 600 new Users and in RevenueCat I have over 1800 new Customers, both numbers are from only January 2023. The difference is way out and I can’t figure out why.Is there any advice on the correct way to filter de Customers so that I can match my DB users with the RC customers?Also, when I export the data there is some weird information like:has_made_sandbox_purchase has 3 different values: t (true), f (false), empty is_rc_promo has 3 different values: TRUE, FALSE, empty The empty parameter appears in many results in many attributes and its confusing.Hope you can help me understand why is this and how can I get the correct number of Customers.Thanks in advance!

Can you directly modify the App User ID in the Customer on the Dashboard?

Hello,Is there a way for an administrator to manually assign an app user ID directly in the dashboard when it cannot be assigned in the app for subscription information? I would like to know if there is a way to assign the app user ID directly without going through the dashboard.Thank you.

RC does not catch subscription bought with the iOS offer code

When the user buys the subscription via the promo code link ((https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/ios-subscription-offers) (Redirect to appstore)) it seems like RevenueCat does not handle or receive any events from apple, and no webhooks are fired for that specific user whatsoever so we are not able to give that user a premium access. Can you please help? please respond asap, thanks

iOS 'Receipt is invalid' Megathread

If you’re here, it’s probably because you’ve encountered an active issue related to Apple’s receipt verification.RevenueCat relies upon Apple’s `verifyReceipt` endpoint which is currently facing an outage: https://developer.apple.com/system-status/This seems to be affecting sandbox and TestFlight purchases only at this time, although Apple’s status page doesn’t mention it explicitly.Encountering this issue? Post below ⬇️ RevenueCat isn’t able to resolve this at this time from our end, but it may help bring awareness and ease to other developers facing the same issue.Update 2/8/23 19:20 UTC:Customers (and me 😃) reporting things are working as expected again - post below if you’re still having trouble, seems like a slow rollout of a fix from Apple.Update 2/8/23 17:40 UTC:Apple’s reporting the issue is fixed, but we’re still encountering errors. I have double checked everyone, bundle Id, in-app cert, App Store Connect App-Specific Shared Secret, everything! In production, Revenue Cat works, but in the sandbox, I get a error ERROR: 😿‼️ The receipt is not valid.The configuration for production and sandbox are the same. Is this a RevCat issue?

Hello, since today the subscriptions do not work in sandbox! I can get the subscription offers but I can't buy : The receipt is not valid.It's crazy, everything was working yesterday. I even deleted my sandbox user and recreated another one, still the same problem. I also changed the shared secret, but nothing.
