A Play store subscription with a 7 day free trial offer (active only for one region), is returning introductory price for other regions as well. Both the base plan and the offer are Backwards Compatible.

Hey There!

This information comes directly from Google themselves, Is it possible that your testing account has a different region than expected?

We are facing this issue on production as well.
Users in regions where the trial offer isn’t active are also receiving the `introductoryPrice` property.

Are they paying the intro price? Or is the value just showing?

In our paywall, we show the free trial text when the introductoryPrice is available.
Our users are complaining that they see the free trial text in the app but get charged immediately.

Are these users currently eligible for the free trial? The free trial itself is handled by the stores, but there may be something in the logic that is causing this to display regardless of if the users are eligible or not. Are users seeing this on iOS or Android? You can check the eligibility and display only based on the eligible response, that should help hide this field from users who are not eligible.

More information on checking eligibility can be found here: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/subscription-offers#checking-eligibility
