PurchaserInfo entitlements returns empty after logOut

Hi there!I'm testing the login/logout system of the RevenueCat SDK on Flutter.I'm using the Transfer Purchase behavior from https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/restoring-purchases.Problem: PurchaserInfo entitlements returns empty after Purchases.logOut(). Purchases.getPurchaserInfo() only returns correct after I refresh the app and call Purchases.setup().Steps to reproduce:1. Enter app, call Purchases.setup() (without appUserId). 2. Do a subscription purchase 3. Now with the user with subscription, call Purchases.login(). The user now has a provided app id and has the subscription entitlement. 4. Call Purchases.logOut(). Now the user has an anonymous id. 5. Call Purchases.getPurchaserInfo() to retrieve the user's entitlements and check if the user has subscription. Result: the user has no entitlements, even tho the user bought the subscription on that same device.But…6. Refresh the app and call Purchases.setup(). Now when Purchases.getPurchaserInfo() is called, it returns the subscription

Our app is being rejected because since we added RevenueCat we are violating the data practices of the Google Families Policy on our Kids App.The rejection explation below:Your app violates the Families Policy Requirements policy. We’ve identified that your app or an SDK in your app transmits identifier(s) that do not comply with our Families Policy. Expo EAS Billing Permissions

Hi, We are using Expo EAS to build our app and looking forward to integrate RevenueCat SDK to our project. In RevenueCat React Native SDK Docs, it is pointed out that we need to add payment/billing permissions for Android and IOS (Link). However, with Expo EAS in Managed, it is not possible to modify xcode and gradle projects. I have seen that some people used EAS successfully with RevenueCat, so can somebody please share how they did the “Android Billing Permission” and “IOS In-App Purchase Capability” configurations? iOS App User being asked to sign in with Apple ID using API checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility

I have an iOS App using Purchases SDK version 3.13.0I have factory reset the iPad I am testing with.I am running a development build (debug)I have never made a purchase with this device after factory reset.On startup of the app I will present an onboarding screen to purchase subscription.My IAP has a 1 week free trial then a monthly subscription.I call the API checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility to try and know whether I should inform them if the free 1 week trial is available to them.I was not expecting the dialog “Sign in with Apple ID to pop up” along with soft keyboard over the top of my onboarding screen.Is this expected behavior? How do I get to the underlying error code?

In swift when I sign out and then try to purchase a subscription again it fails with a generic store error. Yet in the underlying error there is more data: Error: Optional(STORE_PROBLEM)Message: There was a problem with the App Store.Underlying Error: Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=0 "An unknown error occurred" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=An unknown error occurred, NSUnderlyingError=0x2833c8ea0 {Error Domain=ASDServerErrorDomain Code=3532 "You’re currently subscribed to this." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=You’re currently subscribed to this.}}} Purchases.ErrorCode is of no use and I couldn’t figure out the magic incantation to get to the useful bit. Any ideas? thanks

Testflight clicking subscriptions or IAPs has long delay

Why is clicking a subscription or IAP so slow on iOS. When I click on a subscription, it can take up to 20 seconds to even show the pop up modal to purchase the subscription. I am testing this on testflight and am wondering if there is a way to make this delay quick? The IAPs and subscription purchases eventually go through, just unacceptably slow. Is this due to Apples test flight servers being slow or something else? Will we see increased performance when we deploy a production build? For context, I am using `purchaseProduct` to buy both IAPs and subs.Thanks

GetCustomerInfo is returning old data, unless called twice?

Hi,While testing my subscriptions on IOS with a sandbox account i found a strange behaviour of getCustomerInfo(), needing to call it twice in order to get the correct data.The way i’ve set my app is to call getCustomerInfo on appLaunch and on appResume, to check for updates. The scenario is the following:I purchase a subscription and get back info that the entitlement is active and my expirationDate is 5min from now (because of the sandbox account). Then i minimize the app and wait 6 mins, after which i can see the sub renewal transaction appearing in rc dashboard and in the customer details screen. I open the app, which triggers getCustomerInfo, but it’s returning the same data i got from when i first purchased the sub. Then when i minimize the app and open it again, triggering getCustomerInfo for the 2nd time, it return the correct updated data with the new expirationDate.Is this the expected behaviour? Is this because of Sandbox? Or am i doing something wrong?P.S. it’s a flutter app

checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility unknown for test user

We are trying to show an alert if the user is not eligible for the trial/offer on our paywall. It’s very important we test that for new users this alert does not show, because otherwise we’re going to start blocking valid payments. We tried testing this on Testflight using a sandbox account. Our sandbox user presses Reset Eligibility to clear out any old uses of the trials/offers.When we carry out this test, the status comes back “Unknown”. Is this common when using a sandbox tester? Are there any obvious reasons this could be? Is there a way of testing the new user path (i.e. one that has just signed up and has not taken out any trials) without having to repeatedly create new users or something? We’re using react-native-purchases: 4.5.2

Confused about checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility

Hello, We’re using the React Native SDK for an Android and iOS app. We have received some reports in social media from users complaining that they have been charged immediately after purchase despite the product having a 7 day free trial. We don’t have any user Ids to check in the RevenueCat dashboard yet but we’d like to understand better how free trial eligibility works in the React Native SDK. Does checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility work on Android with the React Native SDK? I’ve seen another post from an Android native user that a different mechanism is necessary If the method returns INTRO_ELIGIBILITY_STATUS_UNKNOWN, is it safe to assume that the user is not eligible? Are false positives (is not eligible, unknown is returned) or false negatives (is eligible, unknown is returned) more likely? If a user has already consumed a free trial and they attempt to purchase a free trial product, they will be charged immediately, is this a correct assumption?Thanks in advance. Regards

Expo Go & RevenueCat: the very basics

I’m new to React Native, Expo, and RevenueCat so this is likely very basic but can’t find an answer to this anywhere. I’m following this guide.I’m not familiar with the lingo yet but I’m pretty sure I’m using the “managed workflow” version of Expo. In terms of development and testing, the only setup I’m currently familiar with is Expo Go -- in other words, running “npm start” on my dev machine, opening Expo Go on my device and connecting, then updating/editing code. This is the only way I know how to write code for my app. Then when I’m ready for full testing on a device, I run an EAS build and download it to my device, but at this point I have absolutely no more visibility into the code, it’s a complete black box -- it’s just a standalone running app on my phone.My understanding is that the RevenueCat modules do not work with Expo Go. If I try to include them I get a “Invariant Violation: Your JavaScript code tried to access a native module that doesn't exist” error. First question is

"The device or user is not allowed to make ... " error

I have an Android app in production (Play Store only) and I have no idea what the issue is. One of my users messaged me that the offerings does not show up and the Toast shows the message above. (I don’t have a stacktrace right now, because Crashlytics does not de-obfuscate properly.) I’ve checked similar issues around here, but most issues revolve either around Amazon Store or Emulators, so the issue is not fitting. One similar comment was this: This only happens with some users (some of them have already subscribed). Can anyone help me how to solve this or to get more info about this? I don’t know how many users are experiencing this issue either

Hello,We’ve got a Flutter app that requires user register / login and we’re providing the SDK with an App User ID tied to those credentials to allow our users to share the same subscription among multiple devices. Website and Stripe integration best practices

Hi,We are looking into using the RevenueCat integration with Stripe to provide our users with a way to purchase subscriptions via our website.I have looked at the RevenueCat docs but it is not clear to me to the ideal way to do this. Should the RevenueCat SDK be embedded in the webpage? This would require the public key to be in clear text on the web - is there an issue with that? I know that it is a public key and is usually embedded in an app, but this is still more secure than having it on a website. Another option is to proxy requests via our own backend? And how would you suggested we list available offerings on a website? The getOfferings API requires an app_user_id however we would like to display offerings on our website homepage before any form of user has been created.Thanks for your helpDanny

Missing product title on iOS

This may be more of a support question, but for some reason I am no longer fetching the title for one of the two subscriptions available in my Flutter app, and only on iOS - Android works fine.I have two subscriptions available for a game - one that allows unlimited play time (energy), and a second that allows unlimited chips (which are used for hints and other things that are not necessary for play). The subscription for Chips retrieves all information correctly, but the info for Energy is missing the title. Possible bug with react-native-purchases

Error: The receipt is not valid. The purchased product was missing in the receipt. This is typically due to a bug in StoreKit.I think I found a bug with the react-native-purchases purchaseProduct method on iOS (not android). See the types in the screenshot attached (the function invocation in the screenshot works, without the optional parameters it does not on iOS). I also see it says “subs by default”, but on a subscription purchase it does not work without explicitly supplying the PurchaseTypes.SUBS enum value. Revenue Cat lists the first parameter as required and the other 2 parameters as optional (upgradeInfo?, type?). However, if you don’t supply the second 2 parameters on iOS an exception is thrown with error message - “Error: The receipt is not valid. The purchased product was missing in the receipt. Empty list in products

Hello, I am using React-native and building an app in IOS. It is strange that when i try to use this function, it returns me nothing. when i try to get offerings, it returns me an an error that There is an issue with your configuration. Check the underlying error for more details. There's a problem with your configuration.
