How to redeem an offer code in Flutter for both Android and iOS?

I have been looking in the documentation but didn’t see anything related to flutter for redeeming a coded!I have implemented the auto-renewable subscription with 1 month free trial in my Flutter app and have tested using Sandbox on iOS and works fine. How can I redeem an offer code using Flutter?

User alias is created with delay

Hello,We have started using Revenue Cat to manage in-app purchases, but we are having trouble recovering purchases that were not made via RevenueCat on Android. We login the user via SDK using Purchases.sharedInstance.logInWith("our-custom-user-id"). We wait for a successful response and if the user is logged in for the first time, we call Purchases.sharedInstance.syncPurchases() to sync the purchases not made via RevenueCat. The problem is the "timeline" of events. See screenshot.The webhook for the purchase was sent with an anonymous user ID because an alias was not created at the time. We are unable to sync purchases on our backend with an anonymous user id. Since the "SUBSCRIBER_ALIAS" webhook is deprecated, we are unable to wait for this webhook and sync purchases after that. Please help. Do you have any solution for this?Thank you in advance for your reply.

package.storeProduct.localizedTitle always return the same text, not basing the locale or region.

I have an app with IAP in SwiftUI. When I showing purchase info to the user, I use ```swiftText(package.storeProduct.localizedTitle)Text(package.storeProduct.localizedDescription)Text(package.storeProduct.localizedPriceString)``` I noticed that “localizedPriceString” was changed base on the system region settings. However, “localizedTitle” and “localizedDescription” were fixed. I have localized for en-US, zh-Hans, and zh-Hant in my IAP settings. But I can only get Simplified Chinese localized strings in RevenueCat, it never showed the other two localized strings.

How to refresh user's current offering without restarting app

I am wanting to change a user’s current offering depending on how they answer certain questions in our onboarding flow (before seeing the paywall). I am able to successfully update their current offering using the REST API, but when the user reaches the paywall, the “standard” current offering is still shown, not the user’s customer current offering. I read somewhere that the current offering is cached on app launch. Is there any way to refresh this without having to restart the app?

Confused about checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility

Hello, We’re using the React Native SDK for an Android and iOS app. We have received some reports in social media from users complaining that they have been charged immediately after purchase despite the product having a 7 day free trial. We don’t have any user Ids to check in the RevenueCat dashboard yet but we’d like to understand better how free trial eligibility works in the React Native SDK. Does checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility work on Android with the React Native SDK? I’ve seen another post from an Android native user that a different mechanism is necessary If the method returns INTRO_ELIGIBILITY_STATUS_UNKNOWN, is it safe to assume that the user is not eligible? Are false positives (is not eligible, unknown is returned) or false negatives (is eligible, unknown is returned) more likely? If a user has already consumed a free trial and they attempt to purchase a free trial product, they will be charged immediately, is this a correct assumption?Thanks in advance. Regards

Sandbox data for non subscription

Hello,I have tested subscriptions using RC and verified that the transactions appear in the Sandbox. Now I want to test purchasing In App Products from Google Play. I have set up the products in play console and configured the products and offerings in RC as well. I was able to use the RC API to make the purchase using Test Card from my app but the transactions don’t show up in the Sandbox. Is there a different place where non-subscription transactions are stored?

`syncPurchases` & non-consumable IAPs

Hi,Before integration with RC, we had only non-consumable IAPs, now we want to release auto-renewable subscriptions with RC SDK.We added non-consumable IAPs to the entitlement with subscriptions. That seems to unlock a feature under that entitlement for customers with lifetime access.So what is the benefit of performing `syncPurchases()` for users with lifetime access since they get the access the entitlement already?

How can I check if my non-subscription product was refunded

Hi there, I have a “Lifetime Pro” inapp product. After I refunded this through Google Play it is still fetched as a bought product by Revenuecat. How can I securely verify that my non-subscription product is not refunded?This function is essential for me as it would be too easy for users just to buy the lifetime product, directly refund it and enjoy the lifetime pro for free. Appreciate any help.

Use Application Context for making a purchase

Hello,I am in the process of migrating one of our apps to Jetpack Compose which is using RevenueCat for processing purchases. Earlier, the code to make the purchase was inside the Fragment and hence I was able to pass the Activity Context while calling the purchasePackageWith() function. However, now the code to make the purchase is moved to the repository where I am injecting the Context using Dagger Hilt. Since, the injected code is an Application Context I am unable to call the purchasePackageWith() function. I tried getting the Activity Context using the below code but it doesn’t work. fun Context.findActivity(): Activity? = when (this) { is Activity -> this is ContextWrapper -> baseContext.findActivity() else -> null} I can pass the Activity Context from the composable screen to the repository via ViewModel but that may leak the activity. So, is there any proper approach to do the same?

Product title and description are missing for iOS on React Native SDK

Hello, I am implementing a paywall and I want to keep the products displayed as dynamic as possible. I want to display the title and description of the product on iOS, but it is returning an empty string for both properties: I am using StoreKit with XCode to test properly on my iOS simulator using React Native: This is my App Store Connect configuration (it is in Ready to Submit state): It is working properly for Android (except it is not returning the description, maybe to due to the fact that there is no description provided for the subscription on Google Play Console):

Missing product title on iOS

This may be more of a support question, but for some reason I am no longer fetching the title for one of the two subscriptions available in my Flutter app, and only on iOS - Android works fine.I have two subscriptions available for a game - one that allows unlimited play time (energy), and a second that allows unlimited chips (which are used for hints and other things that are not necessary for play). The subscription for Chips retrieves all information correctly, but the info for Energy is missing the title. Check purchase status of package

Hi there,is there a way to check if a user has currently subscribed to a specific package? The use case is that I want to have a monthly and a yearly subscription for pro access. If a user has subscribed to one of both, I want to mark it accordingly in the UI and disable the buy button.I can’t just check if the pro-access-entitlement is active because both the monthly and the annual subscription refer to the same entitlement. Where can I find original transaction id issued by apple when a user makes a non renewable subscription purchase?

I am using the flutter SDK to integrate IAP to my app and i am using the non renewable subscription model. I want to get a unique transaction ID issued by apple to send to my server to store it if the user wants to refund his purchase in the future.

iOS, Unable to load receipt, the receipt is missing

Hi, I am facing with this issue:Unable to load receipt, ensure you are logged in to a valid Apple account. The receipt is missing. as you can see from the screenshots, I am able to get products and also able to able to see and buy them. But after I click OK, I got the error message. I don’t know why this is happening. Apple Store rejected my binary couple of times. With a physical device I can buy the product but with the simulator it works until the receipt error. Thank you.

Add originalTransactionID to CustomerInfo?

Currently in CustomerInfo, there are properties like originalPurchaseDate and originalApplicationVersion for grandfathering users but I found originalTransactionID missing. originalTransactionID was useful to identify Spam users with shared Apple ID accounts. Is it possible for RevenueCat to expose this property so that we don’t need to add a duplicate logic to decode the App Store receipt?Thanks.

Introductory Offer Stopped Working for Reviewer

Hi there, so my app has a few options for subscriptions. A couple of those options have an introductory offer. When my app builds my paywall VC it fetches all my products from Revenuecat and uses them to fill in the regular price from the products respective .localizedPriceString. The setup function then passes through a guard which checks if the user has subscribed before by calling .getCustomerInfo and verifying if both .entitilments.all and .allPurchasedProductIdentifiers are empty. If they both come back empty then the introductory prices are added to my paywall vc as well to be presented to the user.In my own sandbox testing this seems to work fine. I submitted my app for review, and it has been rejected a few times now. The first couple were for other issues so assumed the paywall experience was fine. The Revenuecat customer sandbox account seemed to say so. However I have now been rejected a couple times in a row because my paywall is preseting the reviewer the intro pricing but

Restore Purchase - RevenueCat webHook

So we get rid of all AppStore/PlayStore integration for processing payment and rely fully on RevenueCat webHook.the main issue that we encounter so far is that when we have a restoreSubscription the RevenueCat webHook does't react also if user has a purchase already and he receive "You are currently subscribed to this" and press OK again the RevenueCat webHook does't react.How can we manage this 2 scenarios ?

Multiple devices, single App store ID.

Hello. I'm interested in understanding how installing the app on a new device with the same app store id is handled when both devices are logged in with different anonymous revenue cat ids. Will the user have to restore purchases every time they switch devices, because of the "transfer purchase" behavior or are the two anonymous ids reconciled by revenue cat as belonging to the same App store id? Thanks!
