Customer Id is different to app_user_id in frontend

I use Webhooks to register purchases and unlock premium features for the account that purchased the product. I have made a purchase with one Account, lets call it User A. After the subscription expired, I logged in with a different Account, lets call it User B. Of course I called Purchases.logIn(UserB.id) in my app. I then purchased the subscription again and confirmed that it uses User B’s id as the app_user_id in my app. However in my Dashboard and my Webhook it still shows that User A made the purchase.This happend in a Sandbox environment and I used the same Apple Id for both purchases. My RC Project uses the Restore behavior “Block restores”.Can someone explain this behavior to me? I had expected that the Customer Id in my Dashboard is always the app_user_id that makes the purchase in the frontend. Is that not the case? I’m really confused and couldn’t find anything about this behavior in the docs.

Purchase Package : Parameter specified as non-null is null....

When I run this command Purchases.purchasePackage(selected_package). I don't know where I am wrong. Getting Old Offering issue

I’ ve properly installed RevenueCat in android app and its workingfor Annual offering…but when i have created new offering with 4 type subscription monthly, 3 month, six month, and annual - properly follow the process but then i am not getting latest offering, i am getting again and again old offering.can you please help me out from this issue i am stuck here almost 1 month completed.Thankyou in advance.

Unknown Error | App Store Review Only

After 10 rejections, I’m trying to get some help here. In my latest app, I’ve a $5/month subscription. Everything works fine when I compile using Xcode or distribute to my beta testers with TestFlight.But when I submit the build to Apple, they alway (10 times!!!) reject it because of a “Unknown error.” after successful purchase. Here is the message they send every time: Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App CompletenessAn error message is produced when attempting to complete the in-app purchase transaction.Please see attached screenshot(s) for details. Getting "There was a credentials issue." on android after 72+ hours

As title says, getting "There was a credentials issue." on android after 72+ hours. I am using `"react-native-purchases": "^4.2.0"`. Followed this guide https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/creating-play-service-credentials#2-create-service-account to setup service account. Android Subscriptions Not Going Through

Users on Android are complaining that they are paying for a subscription but they are not getting any features unlocked. I can see the correct “Offerings” on my Android device, so it seems like the app setup is correct. I can unlock access for users manually through RC’s API, so when an “Entitlement” is granted, it is unlocked in the app. I can see the subscriptions go through Google Playstore, but they are not picked up by RC at all.So what could be the problem? Here’s what I have checked off:Made sure bundle IDs match. Made sure the “Products” registered with RC unlock the correct “Entitlement”.As per the current privacy policy, I am not logging any errors and cannot see specifically what is wrong on the end of the users.

WatchOS only app, which bundle identifier should I use?

I have a watchOS only app, and the default project setup from Apple contains 3 targets:<app name> - com.homecraftedindustries.<app name> <app name> WatchKit App - com.homecraftedindustries.<app name>.watchkitapp <app name> WatchKit Extension - com.homecraftedindustries.<app name>.watchkitapp.watchkitextensionWhich one of these bundle identifiers is the one I should include in RevenueCat as the App Bundle ID?

How to fix The operation couldn’t be completed. (RevenueCat.OfferingsManager.Error error 1.) ?

I’ve sat up all the configs and offering as well as testing them using StoreKit which was successful on the emulator.When trying to test with a real device, I encountered this error.I’ve checked to configurations, offering and product, no issue has been found.StoreKit products and Apple Connect products have the same data (almost) with the same product id.

"There is already another active subscriber using the same receipt." error occurs when trying to purchase a non-renewable product

As the title suggests, I am having trouble purchasing a non-renewable product on my app.Here is an overview of my current setup:Flutter app (with products that can be purchased via app store or play store) Web app (with the same products that can be purchased via Stripe) Server (acts as the backend, is used for authenticating users on login)The non-renewable product is specific to each user. In other words, if user A logs on to the app and purchases the product, then any privileges associated with that non-renewable product will be granted to user A. Then, if user A logs out of their account and user B logs on to the app using their own account on the same device, user B should not have access to those privileges. In order to test the scenario mentioned above on my Flutter app, these are the steps I took:Log on to app using account A Purchase non-renewable product Verify that privileges are granted Log out of app Log on to app using account B Purchase non-renewable product Verify that

How to know at any moment if the purchase of a product is deferred?

Good eveningFrom our understanding, on iOS, the purchase of a non-consommable or subscription can end up in the deferred state for example: permission of parent needed to complete the purchase. We would like to know at any moment the deferred or not state of a product. This way, we can reflect accordingly within our UI. If this is not possible with RC, why? And what is your best practice recommendation? We believe that with SK1, we are able to check this anytime thanks to the payment queue? Cheers

Does RevCat make "Receipt Purchase validation" in their server side?

My question is simple. Since use server-less database, I don’t want to learn some other language and create my server side validation to prevent fake purchases with jailbroken phones. Even I create a server side validation, there are bunch of apps that they can directly access to “.success” method while purchasing and give the game tickets to the scammer. So I need to learn If I change it my all apps to RevenueCat, do you handle the validation & verification of the “real purchases” or should I go with learning server side.

Empty Offerings After Comitting Code and Adding New Package

Don’t know what to make of this since I haven't really changed my code… Everything was working fine until I committed my code and added another package to work on a new feature. A few minutes later I remember seeing an Xcode warning that ‘Checking for new offers is disabled’ or something like that. I just restarted Xcode and they were gone. Now trying to get offers results in the following error: Error fetching offerings - The operation couldn’t be completed. Why are Android products not available to test?

I have struggled for TOO long trying to figure out why my RevenueCat could not find my Android subscriptions. It seems that RevenueCat’s documentation has not kept up with the Google Play changes. I realize you are struggling to support the new changes in Google Play. But, you need to support other new users that are dealing with the new Google Play subscription setup and how to integrate with RevenueCat.tldr; The secret seems to be: You must use the legacy method of defining subscriptions in Google Play Store.For each RevenueCat "Product" you must define ONE Google Play Subscription that has a SINGLE base plan. It is the Play Subscription "Product ID" that must match to the RevenueCat "Product" IdentifierThe RevenueCat provides a link in the error messages (https://rev.cat/why-are-offerings-empty) that after a redirect end up to the closed topic WITHOUT ANY MENTION of this issue! I hope this helps someone out there.

iOS - How to handle pending transactions?

I might be misunderstanding how RevenueCat is supposed to work, but... We used to use SwiftyStoreKit to handle our pending transactions. RevenueCat states that:Remove the SwiftyStoreKit completeTransactions() method, and replace it with the Purchases SDK configure()method. Our workflow is: User makes a purchase, after the purchase is confirmed we call our backend to inform that this user has unlocked a product, then after a successful confirmation, we manually invoke the complete transaction, so that the user can be billed.If there were any transactions that were not successfully communicated to the backend, they would be retried in the background.Given the description above, provided by the documentation, it seems like there is no way to handle this.What are we missing here? How can we ensure that purchases are only finished once our backend is informed? Thank you

Understanding PAYMENT_PENDING_ERROR

I recently received several iOS errors with error code 20 (PAYMENT_PENDING_ERROR). I read the documentation here, but am still unsure what’s causing this error and how to resolve it. The users don’t have parental controls on their devices.The RevenueCat docs mention “a user might choose to purchase your in-app product at a physical store using cash” - is this an option the user would have turned on somewhere in their device settings?Or is there a different reason this error could be occurring?

Recovering a receipt blocked due to Block Restores

Hi! Simple question to understand the full scope of Block Restores, and what the support flow would require in this scenario. Say a user cannot login, maybe the user does not even remember what account used to sign up, so a user is only holding a Receipt. Based on the Receipt, we want to try to reset things. We can do that if we can somehow obtain the original User ID from our side, but to do so we need to store some field from the Receipt or from the Rev Cat Subscriber that we could use to link both. Question is, what field would you recommend to use? Should we try to find an original_transaction_id? The receipt itself as token?Thanks!

App failing to retrieve package in production for about 20% of users on iOS

We’ve been using RevenueCat forever and recently updated to 4.13.1 and instrumented the app properly so this behaviour might have been present in the past but we wouldn’t have known it.About 20% of our users who attempt purchase fail due to RevenueCat returning a nil package. We’re not sure what could cause such a large percent of them to fail and if that’s normal (i.e. 20% of users are launching our app for the first time without Internet connectivity?). Has anyone else seen those failure rates that high?

Is offer_code field on webhooks present with every discounted renewal?

Retrieving Transaction ID from the REST API

We would like to receive App Store Transaction IDs when calling the REST API https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/subscribers/app_user_idI have seen other posts where developers request this, and the response from ReveneCat has been to use the Webhook.I am aware that the ID is provided in the Webhook and we are using this, however, this is not a completely satisfactory solution.Issue 1: Missed Webhook CallbacksIf for whatever reason our server does not receive/process the webhook callback then we will never know the transaction/order ID. We have logic in our app and on our backend servers that calls the RevenueCat API’s to refresh/sync user’s subscriptions. Without a transaction ID we cannot guarantee the uniqueness of a subscription.Issue 2: Legacy MigrationWe are migrating from native implementations of our app to Flutter. Hello, I am upgrading a pretty old project build on Ionic/Cordova/Angular with latest packages, and I am encourteing an issue on Android.I upgraded my project to ionic 6 and Angular 14. I also upgraded all plugins with @awesome-cordova-plugins.
