Introprice returns wrong free trial number in Android - React Native Purchases SDK 6

Hi, I have been developing an app for iOS, and I can get the free trial as intro price in getOfferings response of the SDK. Now, I have upgraded to SDK 6 and trying to do the same on Android. The free trials are there in intro price, but they are returning wrong numbers. There are free trials as subscription options which have right number of days. Is this a bug or expected? Any way to test trials before going live (React Native)?

I’m adding iOS Introductory Offers, and I would like to test before going live. However, when following the guide in the docs, the `discounts` field on the product is an empty array. How do I test this introductory offer before going live? [Flutter] Couldn't find existing purchase for SKU

Hi,I ran into an issue while implementing subscription for Android. I am trying to allow user to upgrade one a Basic plan ($10) to Pro plan ($40). Here, both Basic and pro plan is a monthly plan.I bought Basic plan, then I wanna upgrade it to Pro plan, but it returns me “Couldn't find existing purchase for SKU”.In my understanding, the product id (entitlement) is the SKU. Please correct me if am wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a delay of about 5 seconds from function call and popup displayed on ios. Is there solution for this?

Purchases.shared purchase callback never called for some users

Hi guys, We’re having issues with the purchase callback never being called for some users. This post came closest to the same issue, but didn’t have a clear answer to how to resolve or what the cause could be.The annoying this is that I can’t reproduce the issue. What happens for certain users, is that they hit our “Subscribe” button, and the loading icon that’s shown gets stuck because the callback never returns. This issue has to have to do with the call to func purchase(package: Package, completion: @escaping PurchaseCompletedBlock) , since in all other cases the loading icon would disappear. How to test Experiments before activating them?

I have an iOS experiment that I’d like to manually test if both control and treatment work and looks as expected before going to production. I’ve made the necessary changes and am ready to release the new version after testing with both offerings returned by Revenuecat.As far as I can see, the only way is to start the experiment as a whole to be able to test different treatments. This means my production customers will be bucketed in this experiment without having necessary changes in their build (previous version).How can I allowlist my userId in an Experiment?Thanks

Bank validation notification cancels the purchase process

Here in Europe, some banks are requesting a 2nd step verification to confirm a purchase (especially if it’s the first time the user order something with its Google Play account)This verification is made thanks to the customer’s bank app.The process is the following : when going through the process to purchase something (a subscription in my case), before the purchase is validated and before the Google Play bottom dialog is closed, the user’s phone receive a notification from its bank account to confirm the transaction,BUT sliding the top bar to see the notifications and tap on the one coming from the bank app IS CLOSING the Google Play bottom dialog.Then validating the transaction didn’t transform the purchase from a “pending” state to a “purchased” state.How do I have to handle this case??Thanks!

Share subscription between multiple devices with the same Apple ID

Hi,I’m using revenue cat in a flutter app to manage subscriptions. Users are not logged in, I’m only using anonymous App User IDs. It works like a charm.However, a user has subscribed on his ipad and cannot use the entitlement on his iphone. He has an error when he tries to subscribe to the same entitlement.If I add the restore purchases method, will that solve this issue ?Or do I need to log in users ?Thank you for your help

Testing on iPadPro simulator, when I try to purchase I see native alert of Apple which shows successful purchase but purchase function handler returns error below. Device unable to fetch offerings after switching accounts?

Hi all,So i’ve been implementing rev cat recently, and we’re about coming to the end of development ready to push it.But 1 out of 3 of our test devices wasn’t able to fetch offerings for some reason.We left it whilst doing other stuff and then realised another device when logging out of our app with one account and logging back into another was then unable to fetch offerings as well. Even when doing full restarts, new builds etc. That device just wasn’t able to get offerings anymore.To be exact in the console i get “unexpected back end error”.I’ve attempted to redo everything in the list of “why are offerings not showing and trying to look for similar questions asked her but to no avail. Any help?

SDK and API should have direct analogs?

I’m somewhat new to this and not a seasoned developer. My app has iOS/Android versions and now a web version. For the web version I’m using the RevenueCat REST API and trying to implement the same functionality as in the mobile versions via the SDK. It seems that while there are similar functionalities between them, but the contents, format, and structure of the response is different. Specifically, I am looking at the following:SDK: Purchases.shared.getCustomerInfoAPI: Get or Create Subscriber (GET v1/subscribers/{app_user_id}) These two items appear to be analogs to get a customer/subscriber. However there is substantially improved information available in the SDK version. For example, the SDK indicates which subscriptions/entitlements are active, whereas in the API I need to manually determine this based on the full list of subscriptions (subscriber.subscriptions.{product_id}.{expires_date}. Has anyone else had the same issue, or am I approaching things incorrectly.

purchases_flutter: ^5.0.0 migration

Hey all,I’m getting the notice by Google to update my billing library or else.I saw v5.0 of the flutter library was published and just did a quick test by changing the version of purchases_flutter to 5.0.0 on pubspec.yaml and see what happened, and to no one’s surprise, the code didn’t compile. I’m pretty noob with RevenueCat so I don’t really know where to start with this and the migration guide doesn’t help me.Anyone has any tips on what to look for on my code that needs to be updated so that whatever works on v4 keeps working on v5 of purchases_flutter? Thanks a lot

Local testing / debugging

Ive been pretty stuck on this local purchase testing. The documentation says to use `await Purchases.setDebugLogsEnabled(enabled)` but it is deprecated and I switched to` await Purchases.setLogLevel(LogLevel.debug);` however, i could never purchase anything locally. Locally, the products do load but when I go to purchase it says “The item you requested is not available for purchase”Searching for answers, I then uploaded the build to google play store. I can do purchase there, but obviously I cannot debug if it’s in google test. I watched some youtube videos, the guy shows that he can purchase on emulators. I am unable to do that.

I’m trying to integrate in-app purchases into my React Native app. Everything is configured correctly on RevenueCat and the app stores, and I’m able to fetch and display my offerings using `Purchases.getOfferings()`. However, when I try to execute `Purchases.purchasePackage()`, I encounter the following error:“Parameter specified as non-null is null: method com.revenuecat.purchases.hybridcommon.CommonKt.purchasePackage, parameter packageIdentifier”A similar error occurs when I try to execute `Purchases.purchaseStoreProduct()`. The error suggests that I’m passing `null` as a parameter, but I’m definitely passing the correct identifier as a string.Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me resolve this :)

How and when experiments start to count the customer

Hello, I have a game with a weekly subscription model. I want to experiment if replacing subscription model with consumables would make an improvement. Currently, customers subscribe to the weekly package and play unlimited number of games until they cancel their subscription. In the new model, each game will cost 1 coin, and my offering will show 1 Coin, 5 Coin and 10 Coin packages to the customers.The main concern I have is the existing customers that has an active subscription. These customers should not included in the experiment as they purchased the package before the experiment but still paying weekly amount. My question is: When does an existing and new customers enter the experiment? Is it when Purchases SDK initialised? Is it when getOffering is called? Somewhere else? Thank you

Flutter/Android v5.0: introductoryPrice is null

I have created a mobile app with react native that uses react-native-purchases and when I upload it to the Play Store I get the following warning:We've detected that this app is using an old version of Google Play Billing. From 1 November 2023, all app updates must use Billing Library version 5 or newer.Action required: Please verify that your publicly available APKs are updated to the latest version of the Play Billing Library. This includes any APK or app bundle rolled out in production. Is there any plans on getting the react-native-purchases package working with Google Play’s Billing Library 5.0.0?
