I want to give my subscribed users a way to restore their subscription from the underlying store without using the “user id”.

the reason why I want this is that some users use another login method than the original one they used when they subscribed. This gives the user account a different id, therefore they cant find their subscription.

we got a lot of customer support tickets because of this problem, So I was wondering if there is a way to restore the subscription directly from Google Play or App Store without any user id?

Hey @ahmad-4cd8c2 !

When you trigger a restore, this will reactivate any content that had previously been purchased from the same store account (Apple, Google, or Amazon) rather than the same app user ID.

What restore functionality are you using? If you use transfer to new app user ID, then when a restore is triggered it wont matter what the current app user ID is because it will search for the subscription on the store account and move that over to the new current app user ID.

Let me know if that helps!
