How to identify upcoming subscription change?

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hello,

Our app allows user’s to change their subscription, so that when their current subscription expires, the new subscription will start.

I was looking for some data from the RC SDK that would indicate this upcoming change but I can’t find anything at all.

The dashboard will show that a users `renewal preference` has changed, but the SDK doesn’t seem to have this information.

I found this issue, which addressed the same topic, but the “answer” (not from an RC employee) was to just not handle that scenario… which as you can see from the last comment, isn’t great.

Is there anyway we can get details of the subscription renewal change?

Hi @breakfast-developers, @alexander-ba7d5a! Upcoming renewals and subscription changes aren’t, as you’ve found, currently supported. Our Customer Center team has investigated this, but it’s not implemented yet due to the limitations of the platform’s (Apple, Google) APIs, and changes we would have to make to accommodate these updates. That said, we are interested in supporting this in the future, so please keep an eye out for updates. I apologize I don’t have a better answer for you at this time.

I haven’t found anything neither. We want to notify the user, about their upcoming subscription change. Is there already any way to compute this? Or will this be added in the near future? This would be a great addition IMO.
