Unable to purchase package with Promotional Offer

Hi RevenueCat!I am able to purchase packages without any issues, but I am having an issue when purchasing a package with a Subscription Offer. I’ve tested with the following:Xcode 14.0macOS Monterey 12.6iOS 15.5 & iOS 16.0Apple Swift version 5.7 (swiftlang-5.7.0.127.4 clang-1400.0.29.50)RevenueCat 4.12.0, 4.11.0, 4.9.0, 4.8.0 I have tested using both a simulator via a debug store kit and on a device in Testflight, referencing the documentation provided here: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/apple-app-store Generated and uploaded the .p8 file with the issuer Id as described here:https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/in-app-purchase-key-configuration  I followed the documentation here for implementation:- https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/ios-subscription-offers My RevenueCat is configured as follows:let builder = Configuration.Builder(withAPIKey: <my_api_key>) .with(usesStoreKit2IfAvailable: true) .build()Purchases.configure(with: builder)My purchase code is as fo

Automatically pause a subscription for a specific billing period

Hi there.We have an App where we currently sell monthly subscriptions with RevenueCat. We want to implement a referral system where users can get a free month for each user they refer.Suppose the following scenario:User A runs a 4.99€ monthly subscription. Let’s say he bought the subscription on September 1st.A few days later User A refers User B with his referral link. What we want is to give a free month for user A. So on October 1st (the next billing period), User A won’t be charged but instead, the system will give him the free month. (Putting the subscription on hold for that month).Is there a possibility to implement this use case using RevenueCat?Thank you in advance!

Notification of PLA violation from Apple

I received the following email from Apple this morning. Subject: Notification of Apple Developer Program License Agreement (PLA) violationWe are writing to inform you that your company is not in compliance with the Apple Developer Program License Agreement (PLA).Section 11.2 (Termination) states:(g) if You engage, or encourage others to engage, in any misleading, fraudulent, improper, unlawful or dishonest act relating to this Agreement, including, but not limited to, misrepresenting the nature of Your Application (e.g., hiding or trying to hide functionality from Apple’s review, falsifying consumer reviews for Your Application, engaging in payment fraud, etc.).Be aware that manipulating App Store chart rankings, user reviews or search index may result in the loss of your developer program membership.Please address this issue promptly. We carefully reviewed all our apps, metadata, etc and have not found anything in violation or non-compliant with the PLA. Flutter billing sdk 6 support

When is the flutter SDK going to support andriod billing SDK 6+? At the moment Im not able to get any products to show up that are not backwards compatible and the google play store only allows you to set one product/subscription as backwards compatible.My project is using the latest andriod billing SDK and the latest revenueCat flutter plugin. Just switched the Andriod configuration to only work with 6+ and I get the below error Error fetching offerings - PurchasesError(code=UnknownBackendError, underlyingErrorMessage=Backend Code: 7728 - This SDK version is not supported for this app., message='There was an unknown backend error.') If I have it to support 6+ and backwards compatibility I only get the one product for Andriod (iOS is fine)

RevenueCat does not show payment popup when try to purchase a consumable product again.

I tried to purchase consumable products at Test Flight and Xcode. When I try to purchase a consumable product that I’ve just purchased, RevenueCat does automatically purchase the product but does not show the payment popup, and I’m not seeing this transaction at RevenueCat dashboard. I’m concerned that it’ll be same at production environment. Any help?

Getting an expired entitlement, but also ITEM_ALREADY_OWNED when trying to purchase

Cannot see free trial offer for a Google Play subscription

What could be the reason that I cannot access my Google Play subscription’s free trial offer from the SDK by calling `aPackage.product.subscriptionOptions?.freeTrial`? It is always null.This is a new subscription product which I created after reading through your migration guide from 5.x -6.x. It was suggested there that I should create new subscription products, so I did. I used to have two products, one annual and one monthly. I created a new single subscription with 2 base plans and an annual which has the free trial offer. With the old setup and 5.x version this worked, but now I cannot see the free trial in the new base plan at all. Any help is appreciated. All base plans and the new offer are active in Play console and the products have been added to RC packages. Also this annual base plan looks to be “backwards compatible”.This happens with the latest 6.3.0 version of the purchases SDK.

What happens if user with defined app id subscribes from ios platform and changes to android or vice versa?

Consider a situation where user had subscribed to any of the plans in one platform (assume ios) and later due to some reason user has to change to different platform (say android) or vice versa. How to best handle this situation ? User doesn’t seem to see active entitlement.

Hello, I am receiving this RC error into my error monitoring service : “There is an issue with your configuration. Check the underlying error for more details.” However, I cannot reproduce this problem, my app is live on both iOS and Android and everything seems to work fine, I have active subscriptions. Still a little number of my users (<1%) are receiving this error. I’ve read all posts about it and all of them are about configuration issues, however in my case, RC works fine for 99% of my users. I use “react-native-purchases”: “5.13.1”. This error only happens on Android. Should I be worried about this error ? Or is it harmless ? Thank you

Country and other data disappeared from Customer Details

I noticed that fields like User country, Last seen app version, Last seen platform and several others recently disappeared from Customer Details page.Any reason for this?Any way to get it back?Saved me a lot of time and effort

Is it possible to differentiate macOS (catalyst) app from iOS device?

Hi,We Would like to see the differences on the graph (trials, revenue, churn, etc) for our App that’s on the AppStore for iOS/iPad and AppStore for macOS.The bundle id are the same and the in app purchases are also the same.Revenuecat already report Last Seen Platform Version but of course this is the last, it changes and is nor possible to make reports.How to know where the leads are being originated?

Hey, i have configured android base plan with just 1 offer to be trial 7 days but purchase package does not have introductoryPrice information on app store purchases everything works. I have backward compatible base plan but looks like trial is not, why ? I created it last week, is it because of that? In this case how to fix it ? Thanks

Unable to install or uninstall Revenuecat purchases Firestore Extension

I have been unable to install or uninstall the Revenuecat Purchases Firestore Extension. After trying to then uninstall, I have received the following error. Note that we have Google Cloud Associated with this project and so IAM permissions etc. There is nothing about this in the documentation and how Google Cloud IAM permissions might affect the Extension installation or uninstallation. My account has full Owner permissions, as well as Service Usage Admin, Firebase Admin, and Eventarc admin. None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from App Store Connect

So,I am trying to log the offerings I have for my App.. However, I am getting this message > [Error: There is an issue with your configuration. Check the underlying error for more details. We are thinking about migrating to Revenue Cat. Before, we tested buying a subscription with a StoreKit file and a local certificate. I deleted the Sorekit file and the certificate and set the configuration of StoreKit to None  I am testing on a simulator.Any ideas what is causing this problem?

App Store Rejection - Receipt is mising

It’s crazy the amount of posts here regarding this issue.7 times I have resubmitted by app and every time it’s rejected because the receipt will not validate.“It’s one of those Apple quirks” is not a valid answer. RevenueCat should get in a room with Apple to try and fix this.I have tried the suggested “Delete and re-add your subscriptions” with no luck.I’m left with no option but to remove RevenueCat! Any other suggestions?

Modifying Purchases.sharedInstance.finishTransactions when necessary: Is it Safe?

I'm implementing subscriptions in my app using RevenueCat; however, I had already implemented consumable products, validating them on my server.When I added RevenueCat to the project, I noticed that when a consumable product was purchased, it was automatically consumed, and when the user visited the purchase verification screen (to consume it and gain the content), an error occurred on my server because the purchase had already been consumed by RevenueCat.I discovered that I can use Purchases.sharedInstance.finishTransactions = false to handle consumable logic as before. However, by doing this, I'll need to manage subscription logic on my server as well, and that's not what I want.After running some tests, I think I found a way to handle this. Let me explain what I did:When I initialize RevenueCat, I call Purchases.sharedInstance.finishTransactions = false. Dashboard user account appears to be doubled

First off, I have read everything in this thread and was not able to resolve my issue.My user count (both “Active Users” and “New Customers”) counts on the RevenueCat dashboard appear to be roughly double the actual count as I am tracking it internally within my app. I am using anonymous user IDs. My app is pretty basic and all I do is call Purchases.configure once on app launch -- my understanding is that this is where the unique customer is either created or retrieved but I’m not exactly clear on the logic here or how it happens.Anyway I’m using React Native and so I call .configure() in the export default function App() { … } function. I have also added logs and searched my entire code base to confirm that this is the only call and that it only gets called once during usage of the app.I don’t ever call reset(), identify(), or any other such RevenueCat methods. The only other calls to the RevenueCat SDK after a thorough scrub of my code base are Purchases.getOfferings, Purchases.getC

Users losing access to entitlements after switching from active to activeInCurrentEnvironment

Hey,Recently I switched my unlock check from look for entitlements in `active`, to looking in `activeInCurrentEnvironment`, in order to prevent people unlocking Pro in TestFlight and carrying it over to production.This went smoothly for them majority of users, but a couple of users  have reported losing access to their Pro status, despite having active subscriptions/production lifetime purchases. I got one user to send through a recording of his error, and the purchase flow went as follows:Launches app, I call `getCustomerInfo` with a policy of `notStaleCachedOrFetched`, I then pass that to a function call `handlePurchaseInfo`, which determines the user does not have any active entitlements. They open the Pestle Pro screen, which determines they are ineligible for a trial. They hit ‘Restore Purchases’, which triggers the RevenueCat restore purchases flow, and I pass the result to the same `handlePurchaseInfo` method from before. In this case, `activeInCurrentEnvironment` is empty, so I

I just updated my xcode and my computer with the new apple updates that just came out and now RevenueCat is making my project not build correctly because i keep getting this error in one of their files “Stored properties cannot be marked potentially unavailable with '@available'” What should I do to fix this?
